Great staff, great service. I went in to the dealership while I was waiting to meet someone at a nearby dealership. They managed to win over my business. Worked with Erick who helped me get a car within my budget while placing me in a much bigger vehicle. I think I got a great deal from these guys. Very helpful throughout the process and made everything very smooth. The business manager Taylor was also very helpful and managed to get all the paperwork done in a very efficient manner. Looking forward to going in there for my service!

The worst ford dealership ever they don’t care about their customers have been to this place thrice 2 times for sales worst experience. The sales team doesn’t want to listen to what the customer wants and just wanna hit their targets and the worst one was today when they declined to take my car in which was on lease because they don’t have enough space. So even though being a loyal customer I am running to different ford dealership to return my car. try avoiding this dealership!!!

Our experience at Yorkdale Ford was all positive. We dealt with Erick for our Explorer Sport. We waisted time at other dealerships trying to get a fair deal for our trade-in, but could get close to a figure we liked. It took Erick about 20 mins to appraise and give us what we thought was fair value for our 2017 Escape Titanium. We agreed to a deal quickly, and when we went to pick up our vehicle, the monthly payments were actually lower than what we agreed to. We'll definitely be going back to him for any future vehicle needs. Thanks again Erick.

After a horrible experience with a Chevy Iroc-z, I switched to Honda and later, Volkswagen. The vehicles from both were the highest quality and customer service was terrific from both. I had heard that domestic vehicles were much better nowadays so I wanted to do the patriotic thing and looked at Ford when my VW lease was up. I should have been alert when no one answered the phone at sales and the second time I left a voicemail. After not getting a response, I called back but the receptionist (at least she answered) told me no one was available. I had enough. I asked where the next nearest dealer was. I was put on hold and the manager came on and said he would take care of me and he did. A lovely salesperson, Phyllis, got us a great deal on an Edge Titanium. I was pleased. A few weeks later we got a letter saying there was a safety recall but they didn't have the parts yet. We drove the vehicle in trepidation about the airbag recall. After waiting months for word back, we started calling ourselves. Eventually we were told the part was available and made an appointment for the recall and also to fix the CD/Radio which malfunctioned the first week. On the day of the appointment, after waiting for 2 hours 20 minutes in the dingy waiting area, I was told that they didn't have either part and would have to come back! The service advisor said that he would call me the next day. He didn't. I tried to call but once again, no answer. After three tries I left a voicemail. No one called me back! Called again at the end of the week and confirmed that the parts were in and made an appointment for the next week. After waiting another 2 hours 45 minutes, I was informed that the recall was complete but they needed a new part to fix the CD player. Apparently it is another 2 hour+ wait. Today I was told that the part is on backorder for 2 weeks. I'm at a loss for words. Less than 2,000 km on vehicle and I have a really bad taste in my mouth. I expect at least an acceptable customer service effort. But I love the Edge. I'll provide updates good or bad, to be fair. UPDATE: It's been a while since my first review and I have to say, the story is different; very different. After the debacle with the CD and recall, the service department actually came to pick the Edge up, replaced the CD player and brought the car I have grown to love back to me with a smile and a handshake. We recently took the Ford Edge in for the first service and the atmosphere was friendly. The appointment was on time and there was a surprise discount! After my first review, the owner of the dealership personally called and apologized, saying that this was an aberration. I was skeptical. After letting a year go by, I absolutely believe this first experience was not the norm. I'm not the type of person who can be placated by excuses. The reason I am revising my review is because of facts. The dealership is indeed dedicated to Customer Service and I would, and probably will buy my next vehicle there. I didn't give it 5 stars because of my first 1 star experience but if what I have experienced in the last year continues, I will make another update with the 5 stars they earned. If you do have a problem with staff, contact the owner. He is very responsive and takes immediate action. He is an example of what management should be and makes me trust his organization. Bravo!

Recently came in for a recalled part on my Crown Victoria at this location and during the process of dropping my vehicle I was alienated for not wearing a mask. I ask if Fords new customer policy was to discriminate and segregated their customer's and to my surprise the manager responded "YES" we do. The following day I was called to pick up my car after being told the work was complete only to find out after I got home that the part wasn't even replaced. With my concerns I called Ford to get some clarification as to why the service work took so long with no solution, afterall it is a safety recall that pertains to the rear tail lights not coming on at night. Still to this day no response, I understand the difficult environment we're all living through but this unprofessional experience leads me down the road to possible legal proceedings. I visited Yorkdale Ford a few weeks ago and was appalled to see that they still use the type of bullying techniques you see from car salesmen in movies. I sadly can't remember the name of the horrible customer service rep I spoke to, but I remember that he was condescending and mean. First, he told me that he wouldn't talk to me about prices unless I PROMISED to buy a car that morning, then he tried to convince me to sign a lease without even seeing the car, and finally, he yelled at me and grabbed the papers out of my hand when I said I was going to talk to my husband before signing. I assume he treated me especially poorly because I was a young woman in the dealership alone, but even if you're not in that situation, I would never trust this dealership. I would give them negative stars if it was an option.

Our experience at Yorkdale Ford/Lincoln has been a great experience over the last 4 years. We originally purchased our Lincoln MKX with Claudio. He was and has been a great guy to deal with -- I would highly recommend dealing with Claudio if you are looking to purchase an new vehicle! I have also had a great experience dealing with Jim and Max, they have always assisted me with questions I might of had and have always been professional. Throughout the 4 years, we have had valet service and maintenance done on our MKX. I will say, the service department has always gone over and above to keep us satisfied! Excellent Dealership. I recommend seeing Gary if looking for a new or used vehicle. I was in a tight spot and wasn't able to drive my manual transmission vehicle anymore because of knee problems i was suffering. Gary helped me out of the tight situation and into a Ford Fusion SE which i love. He did everything in his power to help me. I went to a couple other dealerships who weren't able to do anything in regards to my situation or they didn't want to. I am glad i went to Yorkdale Ford, they were understanding, courteous, and professional. It was a great experience for me and my girlfriend. I asked to have a nagging vibration which I feel in my steering wheel, my seat and it vibrates the passenger seat as well. They found zero wrong! I am not happy. This car listed for $80K. This should not be tolerated. I will be sending a message to Lincoln Canada about this.

Call center person extremely rude. I’ve sent an email to book a service for my F150 and someone called me back. The person corrected my English twice in a very rude way. My English is not good, ok, but it’s not her business. So, you have lost a client who would make some service right now and also switch my current F150 for a new one in December. My husband purchased a 2019 Explorer Sport as a gift for me back in April 2020. I have been drooling over one for a few years. I can't begin to describe how wonderful the experience was. Max took care of everything, the quote provided was dead on down to the last dollar. Paperwork was completed and ready to sign without delay. The vehicle was absolutely spotless at the time of delivery. The only minor delay was getting my plates transferred and licensed. HOWEVER due to covid and Service Ontario being only open by appointment I fully understand. Listen, taking a car in to any dealer is frustrating especially when its a major repair. I did take my car to Ford Yorkdale and at first I was upset that the car broke down and I didn't have a car, etc, but the service coordinator, Anne, was very pleasant to deal with. Very courteous and gave you the straight answer. I car was under warranty and it did take some time to get it fixed but patience is needed, but to get it done right you need to have patience and understand they are doing their best to get it done and get it done right. Great work Anne and keep up the great customer service!

I took my car to change the windows controls buttons on my ford escape 2020, was peeling off. They changed, and left the handles of the door broke! This was in June 8... I went back to show on June 10, they said they needed to place an order for the part... No more contact. I'm very disappointed with the service, and costumer service. Terrible job. Terrible

Random sales person will cold call you in the worst telemarketing fashion of dragging out a call, forcing engagement and only providing the reason of the call after going back and forth a few times. For the love of everyone's sanity, can your sales person just go hello I'm x from yorkdale Ford and was wondering if I could interest you in an upgrade. Get to the point right away after a short greeting so we can both get on with our lives please? Stop it with the Hello... Are you... I'm whoever from yorkdale Ford... I see you have a... And THEN do they get to the point of trying to drum up sales. It's annoying to say the least. Made me feel kind of silly thinking it might be a call regarding a vehicle recall, or anything important for that matter. Oh, and for the last time, Ford stopped making hot hatches, the kind of car I bought. Nothing in the current Ford catalog is an "upgrade". I AM NOT INTERESTED. I wasn't a year ago, or the year before that and I sure as heck am not today. I don't want an eco whatever, I'm not interested in a mustang, nor do I want an SUV.

They had the vehicle I wanted in inventory online and Nash had the extras I wanted ready and installed when I arrived to pick up the vehicle. He was waiting for me when I and immediately walked through all the features of my truck when I arrived and then helped me set up fordpass on my phone. Roy had all the paperwork printed and ready for signing. Roy suggested an extended warranty package I didn't know was available and it made so much sense. The entire process, selection, vehicle trade-in, options, financing and closing could not have been easier!

I was referred to Yorkdale Ford through a friend and setup a lease for a new work truck this past spring. Great staff - Sandra setup the lease for me and arranged for a folding tonneau cover and spray-in liner to be installed right away. They went above and beyond and gave me a great lease rate. Service department has also treated me well thus far for regular maintenance. I plan to lease/purchase the rest of my fleet through Yorkdale Ford moving forward.

They say it is not what you know but who you know! I friend of mine recommended the team here at Yorkdale Ford and am I ever glad that they did. They were so helpful in guiding me through the process of a trade in. They took the time to hear my concerns and answer all of my questions. I felt heard and appreciated for all of my input. At my first visit they walked me through all of the details of the car and let me take it for a test drive. I came back a few days later to do the trade and all was ready to go. The paperwork was ready and waiting and the recommendations of the services available were fully explained. They took the time to show me all of the great perks and "bells and whistles" that come with my vehicle. and to top it off there was a lovely bunch of fresh flowers waiting in the car for me to celebrate my new adventure with the new set of wheels. Each person I spoke with was very respectful and I commend them all for the customer service that I experienced. This will be my "go to" place for my future vehicles to be sure! Been bringing my mustang in for service every 10-15km. When I bring up an issue with my camera in February they ok my car say it is fine. Now I bring it up again, and they tell me it is out of warranty. Car is still under lease. I’ve had to reschedule my appointment 3 times. Service manager was rude. Did not solve the issue. We have a company that owns 3 fords cars/trucks. Extremely disappointed at how they treat a long time serious customer looking to spend another $20,000 next month and buy this same vehicle... Update: did some research online and found this was a common issue. When I rolled back the sleeve found the wires were pinched too tightly from factory by the end of the plastic sleeve and strap causing these thin wires to tear. Makes sense why With heat this was getting out of control. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only did I have to find the issue myself. It was a factory mistake that isn’t being recalled because it doesn’t directly affect safety. Bunch of losers at this location. I’ve taken pristine care of my mustang. Once I buy out my car I’m never coming back to this dealership again. ????????????

I’ve been waiting about five months to get my car back from Yorkdale Ford service department. I have a 2012 Ford Focus that has known issue with the Transmission Control Module (TCM), to the point that Ford was ordered to implement an extended warranty (10 years) for the part due to a class action lawsuit. In August of this year 2021, my TCM finally gave out, the car slipped into neutral and wouldn't go into gear so I was forced to bring it into Yorkdale Ford to look into the issue. Despite being in a global pandemic, we were informed that the 10 year extended warranty had expired in May of 2021 (only three months before our car was effected) and that Ford would not be flexible in honouring the extended warranty, so we were being charged for both parts and labour. I contacted head office, customer support etc. and no one was able to offer us any assistance what so ever. I agreed to go ahead with the repair because I really don't have any other option. Fast forward to December 2021 and I still have not received my car back. The initial estimate for how long the service would take, based on delays for parts was 1 month. We are now going on 5 months with no indication or even an estimate of when the part will arrive and our car will be drive-able again. I have given a lot of business to Yorkdale Ford, having most of my service, oil changes, tire changes completed there. This time around Yorkdale Ford has been incredibly unprofessional in terms of updating me on when there are further delays or communicating about how long this repair will take. Unfortunately I have had to call Yorkdale Ford repeatedly to get updates on my car. They often take weeks to respond to calls and voicemails, if they even respond at all. They have essentially told me they have no idea of when the part will come in and when I can expect my car back. Because the repair fell out of warranty we weren't offered a loaner car so I have been without a car for 5 months. It has been challenging to go about my day to day without having access to a vehicle and the length of time it has taken has been very disappointing.

The service, patience and dedication of the staff at Yorkdale Ford is exceptional! we are so happy that we chose this dealership to purchase our family car. Both Phyllis in sales and Ali the manager were a great help in choosing a car that fit our budget and working hard to get the car to us by our deadline. They are very knowledgeable and sweet! Very persistent for a review (which I already gave on the phone!) For an oil change, I guess the service was ok? Due to Covid was told we couldn't wait for the car and no shuttle, so had to TTC it home and back soon after. There was a person in the waiting room too when I went back?! They also confused my car with another car that was to get snow tires and my husband was confused at drop off what was to be done? (They booked the appointment so I don't know what happened there or what my file had said?)

When I worked in Oakville onsite, I used to go to Erinwood Ford, and was very happy with the service. Since the pandemic I've been working at home in Toronto, so I decided to go to Yorkdale Ford for my service needs as it's much closer. My wife has been going to Yorkdale Ford for her Edge for years. I've had nothing but positive experiences at Yorkdale Ford. They're always able to give me a convenient appointment time if I contact the dealership by phone - **IMPORTANT** - I don't think the online booking system is working, so don't rely on it. Chelvin Jennings, my usual Service Advisor, is very knowledgeable and has saved me money in the past when something is not worth fixing. The dealership could've made money off me but they decided to give me some friendly advice instead, and retain an appreciative customer. I also want to sing the praises of Gary Wener. My wife and I went browsing for new vehicles at Yorkdale Ford. The first one to approach us on the showroom floor was Gary. He just asked us how we were doing and made himself available for questions. No "how can I help you today?" He let us guide the entire process. He was extremely helpful when we asked to see the Ford Escape Hybrid. He took us through the features of two different models while we sat in the vehicles. He let us ask him if we could take it for a test drive. Not pushy at all. Afterwards he went through the various price scenarios with us in case we were interested in purchasing in the future. Great guy and great salesman – no pressure, no hard sell – just a lot of great information and a genuine type of guy. A real mensch. When we purchase, we will be going back to see Gary. Also met John Brimo, General Manager, and he offered to bring in a Maverick I was interested in without obligation - just so I could try it to see if the vehicle was for me. I highly recommend the team at Yorkdale Ford Lincoln.

I just bought a f-150 from Yorkdale Ford and I love it!! Ravi the sales guy who help me decide was very helpful and guided me through all scenarios I may choose from. After I got my truck he showed to me, how to manipulate all the new bottoms and features the truck has. I really enjoyed the experience and I’ll definitely come back to get a new car from them.

I again confirmed my test drive for the very next day, and the morning of the appointment I called (a third time) on the way to the dealership, and was told the vehicle was already sold. Nobody reached out to me to let me know the vehicle was sold the night before, and I had to find out on my way out the door, and only because I had the foresight to call to ask a question. Cars sell, and that's fine, but the lack of communication and zero responsibility particularly from Ravi's side was completely off putting.

My dad purchased some mustang mats for his 2016 GT. he did not use them, and the mats are brand new and still in the box. Called to see if we could return them, but was denied the return, they say because they got it from another dealer, and quote " they are basically garbage to us" this is what the manager told me. (note, not sure if it is the manager for the entire dealer or just the parts manager.) the issue is, we have purchased 2 new cars from this dealer, and 2 new mustangs from ford in the past 4 years. I think they should accommodate customers, specially those who give them business.

I wish i could give this location no star but here we go I would not recommend going to this location AT ALL, i was at this location couple days ago and let me tell you I have never been this disappointed in my life so first of all the “sales rep” who was helping us had absolutely no idea what he was doing he was not talking to us at all no eye contact no nothing then he asked us what was our budget so we obv were just trying to get a good deal so we said anywhere between 500-600/month, goes back again to typing on his computer us just sitting there looking at him then he leaves us (and still not talking to us just casually getting up and leaving) comes back he looked us dead in the eye and said “i just had a chat with my manager and he said he doesn’t want to put kilometers on his car so you cant test drive it” I asked but how am i gonna know if i like he was just looking at us no response, then he says “well looms like our cars don’t match your budget” Very unprofessional VERY judgmental and very rude ppl take ur business somewhere else. Just unbelievable how they treat their clients, very close minded and unprofessional ppl. Take ur business somewhere else ppl!!

Update: The manager Contacted me and offered to fix the scratches, it was nice of him to do so, definitely makes up for some the headache I had to go through :) As a result, I changed my review to 4 stars instead of 1. But since just less than a year is left on my lease, I'll just return the car with scratches and let them worry about it. I factory ordered a Mustang and they totally messed up the order. Gave me a car that doesn't have the options I paid for, and still tried to charge me for the options they forgot to put on it. After I mentioned that its not fair to charge me for options that the car doesn't have they reduced the price, but I still ended up with a car that wasn't what I ordered (and I waited for more than two months for that) IF YOU'RE BUYING from them, you should know their Vehicle protection insurance (Vehicle armor is what they call it) is unreliable at best. don't waste your money. I've been trying to fix a couple of scratches for nearly half a year (No exaggeration) and they keep ignoring it, even though I paid extra for this protection to have my car fixed during the lease term and not just at the end. for full details you can read below: 1st attempt: Manager Nick took pictures of the scratches with his phone, told me he has to file a claim and get back to me . 1 month after I dont hear anything so I email him and he doesn't respond. So I email the salesman that sold me the car and he replies once and doesn't reply anymore. I go to ford and they tell me Nick and Greg (the salesman) are not with them anymore. So I need to file another claim with the new manager. 2nd attempt: I filed a new claim with the new manager Sandra, she takes pictures again and tells me she will get back to me. after a month I don't hear anything back and I go and see Sandra, she tells me she has no updates and she'll get back to me as soon as she does. another month goes by and no news, so I go into ford today and they tell me Sandra is not with them anymore. at this point Im wondering how many claims do I have to file with new managers until they fix a couple of scratches. I share this thought with the sales manager Ali (he is generally friendly when everything is going perfect, but not when you have an issue with something). He gets all defensive, saying we are doing what we need to do and we can't call our customers and ask for their permission to change managers (even though my concern was my continuously ignored claim, not how many managers they change every couple of months! they just find it impossible to wait until you finish your sentence before they reply). so anyways, Ali took my info AGAIN, saying he will get back to me. at this point I don't care anymore, what I know is that when my lease is over, Im getting my new car from somewhere else, and will laugh at their attempts if they try to charge me over scratches and imperfections they find on the car. My other goal is to leave this review (and the upcoming updates) everywhere I can so hopefully less people waste their money on imaginary protection programs.

When I started getting serious about the purchase of a 2015 Mustang GT Premium, I had been in talks with several dealerships, Yorkdale Ford being one of them. I had first emailed Yorkdale Ford for more information and a possible test drive, and Zeke Chi (the Online coordinator and Social Media Specialist) had emailed me giving me some great information and referred me to Lisa North (Yorkdale Ford's Internet and Social Media Sales Manager). Friendly service. I wish they told ppl that there is no waiting space or that the shuttle is not available (during covid) when you call to book an Appt. I saw multiple ppl including families with small kids waiting outside in the cold because they didn't have an alternative ride home. And not unique to Ford, but as in all dealerships, the pricing is astronomical. Got a diagnosis done there then bought the parts online from the US and brought it to a local repair shop for less than half the price.

Moral of my comment: by far the worst Ford Dealership I have ever experienced. My car has been diagnosed at another Ford dealership so I know exactly what were wrong for the car. Now because I moved, I though it should be OK to try Yorkdale Ford, man I was very wrong. Anyway, I went there to repair my ford, because I already know what's wrong on the car, naturally I asked for a quote before they start the repair. After like 10 minutes they came back and confirmed what the other Ford dealership's inspection is correct, but for some reason the labor hours they quoted me is double of what the other Ford dealer gave me. With this high total price I decided not to pursue future. Then they changed the way they look at me and ask for a diagnose fee (regardless of just took my car key away for around 10 minutes). After paying the fee, they didn't provide any professional diagnose result sheet or check-list, nor save my case on their computer system for future reference (which every other Ford dealership does), but an invoice with the price they intended to charge me and what I told them in the beginning of what went wrong ("customer requested..." ) as comment. I also called them later to at least get a professional diagnose sheet sent to me since I paid for the service, they refused my request and told me that they didn't save anything electronically and all they will ever provide for diagnose results is the invoice. So this was my experience with Yorkdale Ford. If you are thinking to diagnose your car with them, I suggest you think twice, because according to what they've told me, they DON'T provide anything other than the invoice for you in the end, which has very little information on what went wrong with your car (actually just a few lines of comment or footnote, you'd better be able to remember everything they told you on site verbally). If you go to service your car after warranty expiration, think twice, because either their mechanics are inexperienced individuals who requires twice as long to fix your problem, or just plainly greedy. Oh yeah, another reason I thought they are trust worthy is that they sometimes reply to the customer comments on google. I thought they pay attention to customer's satisfaction. But now I realized, all they were doing was to cover things up. Your mileage may vary. But if you ask me, if you're a Ford owner and your car has gone out of warranty, think twice before you go to them for help.

Just purchased a 2016 Ford F-250 Lariat at Yorkdale Ford -- normally a very painful and stressful experience, especially when you're new to a dealer like I was. NOT HERE. Lisa North, their Internet Sales Manager, was awesome. Honest and straightforward negotiation (with Ford Employee Pricing and my thorough research) produced a great deal in little time. Impressive. Needed new summer tires and storage of my winter tires and rims. From appointment to payment all was handled very professionally. They are a little crazy about COVID restrictions, but too much is better then not enough. Anne, my assigned Service Technician, knows my vehicle and has kept it running wonderfully. I had one of the worst experience and service at this location by far. I have been coming to this location for over 5 years and even purchased a 2nd brand new vehicle from them. I always book my vehicle service from them and get the same thing every time which is the oil change for my car it’s usually around 70-80 dollars. This time I booked it and I told them I need the usual service oil change and when I went in to pick up my car they charged me around $182 for just an oil change and said I had asked them for synthetic oil. Doesn’t make any sense I never get synthetic and I know charge $20 per litre and when I say they usual service I’m pretty sure it’s in their system what I usually get. Worst customer service I had in the last 5 years my family members bring their vehicle here as well, I myself and others are planning not to come here anymore rude and disrespectful customer rep Chelvin. He was proving me wrong saying you asked for synthetic, I told him just the usual service when checking in. I mean I can understand economy is a bit down but that doesn’t mean you try to rip off your loyal customers. And also not provide any response when I told him, I asked for the usual service and to check what I usually get and he stayed quite. Worst experience everyone be aware.

Took my car here for several visits in 2012-2013. Nice staff but anytime I opted to wait for my car it seemed to take forever. Like all dealerships the prices are higher than independent shops but when I pulled the receipts from my previous Aurora Ford for simple winter tire swap I almost fainted. I hadn't realized it was so much more expensive at Yorkdale Ford. At least 50% higher. Worth the drive to Aurora in my opinion if I was going to continue to use a dealership. But staff have always been nice and shuttle was on time when I did use it.

Hi Fred, I brought my car in because my Bluetooth connectivity stopped working. I was advised that the diagnosis would cost $167 as this was the cost of the technician. Over an hour after dropping my car off, he called back and said that my software was extremely out of date. After another hour and a half, the software was brought up to date and I paid the bill of $376. I felt like a hostage to the situation. As an insurance professional that takes care of people in horrible car accidents, I have to be hands free. I felt from a safety perspective I had no choice but to pay the bill and get it fixed because it’s the right thing to do. But I feel like the cost of this is unethical • No one had ever told me before that I needed to update the software on the car. Even with my maintenance package it was never brought up (Yorkdale Ford’s fault but as a Ford customer, a Ford issue). I can’t imagine why this wouldn’t be included with that package. • I had no way to prevent this cost. Its not something that I could’ve maintained and thus avoided breaking. It broke because Ford installed a software in my car that needed updating. Its failure was not of my doing and yet I’m saddled with the cost to bring it up to date. • Like most software that one purchases, whether it’s a Windows operating system or an Apple phone, software updates are not charged to the user or owner. They are provided for free. Why doesn’t Ford do the same? • I’ve heard through friends and colleagues that other car manufacturers like VW do in fact update software for free at time of regular servicing. Why wouldn’t Ford adopt this practice? • Although it could be argued that Bluetooth is a “nice to have”, with reliance on smart phone technology I view this as a safety feature. For example, I need Google Maps to be played from my car speakers so I can hear navigational assistance. With regular texting and calling, use of Bluetooth is a huge risk mitigation tool. As a car manufacturer, wouldn’t Ford want to have their customers as safe as possible without downplaying the cost to their customers? • $167 for a technician to plug a cord into the car’s computer and the other end of the cord into another computer to tell them what software version their on is not a reasonable cost for diagnosis. Why wouldn’t Ford consider having tiered diagnosis costs depending on the type of diagnosis (e.g. engine, computer, transmission etc.). The cost of the diagnosis should be commensurate to the task at hand. • It feels unethical that Ford charges approximately $400 per customer for the cost of their software becoming out of date. It’s a problem that Ford created and I can only imagine how much money has been collected from customer’s pockets over the years. I’m really sad today to own a Ford knowing that this is the case. As a Ford lover, I’m ashamed that this is the case and because of this I will never buy another Ford and I will make sure that my network never goes to Yorkdale Ford for anything. If you are reading this review, I would advise you to go somewhere else and not to deal with these crooks. Thanks and have a great day!

Yesterday morning I took my vehicle to Yorkdale Ford for scheduled service as I have regularly done during the last six years since I purchased a 2016 Ford Edge from them in April of 2016. Although my vehichle is no longer under warranty, I continue to bring it to Yorkdale Ford not only because I am satisfied with the work performed by their service technicians but also because not once in dealing with Yorkdale Ford have I been left with the nagging feeling that unnecessary services were performed in order to inflate my bill. Quite the contrary. In dealing with this dealership's service advisor stalwarts and straight arrows Anne Johnstone and Chelvin Jennings over the years, one of the things I've noticed is that not only do they strictly recommend only the service that is required, they have on occasion actually talked me out of doing service (!) that I asked to have done because they deemed that it was not necessary or premature. I have been a licensed driver for almost 40 years. I have owned many vehicles and dealt with many car dealerships. I can attest to the fact that this behaviour, unfortunately, is not always the norm. When my wife decided to buy a vehicle many months ago, she settled on a Ford Bronco. She purchased this vehicle from Yorkdale Ford because she loved the vehicle, and also got a straight talk no-pressure experience from the car salesman. However, she also purchased it because she knows through my experience that when she goes to get the vehicle serviced she will get a fair shake from the Yorkdale Ford service team. It is largely on the strength of my dealings with the Yorkdale Ford service team that we will continue to be customers of this automotive dealership. - Asher Levy

I did a lot of on line research with regards to pricing and models and features. This is my first time leasing a car, I narrowed my search to 3 cars from different manufacturers. I decided to get the Ford Escape base model S. Here is a brief summary of my experience: 1. Ali was my sales associate and was very serious and helpful. 2. I got the price I was expecting. 3. I test drove the vehicle with no issues liked what I drove. 4. The process was very clear to me and I felt that Ali was very transparent. 5. Nick the financial guy made it possible for me to pick the car up the very next day. 6. AFTER I purchased the car, I contacted Ali with some minor concerns, ALL of which are being dealt with to my satisfaction. A true sign of good business conduct. Compared to their neighbor, who would not even send a sales associate over to talk to me despite waiting 15 minutes, Dufferin Ford, and particularly Ali, were great group of people to deal with.

It is the best customer service I have experience at any car dealership. Customer service staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They were very considerate and accommodated my last minute urgent request. Service center has a Lincoln lounge with free Wi-Fi, desktop, coffee, snacks. It was very quite and comfortable to work and make phone calls from the lounge. Customer service fixed my tire leak for free as a courtesy. I was referred to Frank by my husband's friend. Upon our initial meeting, I could tell Frank genuinely cared about his customers in how he focused his attention to detail and to my specific requests. My husband does not easily give out compliments, although on our way home after that meeting, he said "you are in good hands". That's huge. Frank exemplifies professionalism, customer care, and excellent work ethics. He gives you his word when it comes to customer service, which I experienced first-hand. I hate giving negative reviews but i can not help but share my awful few experiences. I had dealt with different car companies within the past 30 years in Canada but its my first time to deal with Yorkdale Ford/Lincoln.. Beginning of pandemic my engine car light appeared and i took it to Yorkdale Ford. Parts has to be ordered and will take 6 days to be shipped. My car was left in their possession. After 6 days, i pick up my car, didn't bother checking as its end of the day my daughter notices my entry pad was broken. I called service dept. and explain the situation and I was promised that they will check the camera and will get back to me. No one bother to call but every time I go for service or visit the shop for ongoing problems with low pressure on my tire, I always remind them but nothing happens. I took my car to another place due to consistent low air, the Auto shop told me that the rim of my tire are not sealed properly that is why air always escape the problem fixed BUT the engine light appears again so I took it to Ford Yorkdale for repair. .Apparently, there are 6 wires to the engine that causing the problem. Last month I took my car again for engine problem. I mentioned about my entry pad if I can get a discount.. To my amazement Chelvin told me its not Yorkdale Ford/Lincoln responsibility, its my problem my car was not inside their garage, it was at their parking area. I told him its in your vicinity. Chelvin asked me a question, if you go to a mall, you park your car and it got damaged who is responsible you or the mall? I told him, me because I choose to go there BUT my car was left in your care due to repair. Chelvin said, It's your problem not Ford. replacement was offered but I declined to pay portion.. Another time, I dropped in to get air pressure but when I pay, I was charged more, when I questioned the amount, I was told they did service at the same time, I told the cashier, am I not entitled to be notified? what happened if I do not have money? got no choice but pay right? Anyway, my worst nightmare it happened April 8, 2021 after spending lots of money(2,753.67) to fix on going problem such as engine light, brand new 2 tire, brake, oil drain, etc. After picking up my car, i do not go anywhere due to lockdown, one day I went to the store and to my surprise, I heard a noise, I thought someone's car muffler gone wrong not knowing its my own car. I manage to drive home safely, park on our driveway, checked my muffler and it was ok. but when i drive the noise was loud. I called Yorkdale Ford service dept. and was told by Chevin to bring the car back. When I tried to reverse, the sound was really loud and I get scared, when i checked underneath the front there was a large piece hanging under the engine that caused noise. I called Service Dept. again and I spoke with Anne, she advise me to go underneath my car and remove whatever piece is hanging, I told her, how dare you instruct me to lie down underneath my car and removed that piece hanging, Anne said, its my damn responsibility, I could not imagine how people are so heartless and mean to respond to their client. I told Anne, you did not even asked how old I am or if i fit underneath, nevertheless, I was so helpless, i lie down the ground and managed to un screw one side left hanging and took it to Yorkdale Ford and was repaired. I managed to have a good conversation with the Manager of Service Department Fred Rashidi, who came to my rescue and give me the assurance that he will look after me which he did, and I am so grateful BUT it can not help to erase the bad experiences with Mechanics and Advisors designated. INTEGRITY, HONESTY AND LOYALTY IS NEEDED TO RUN A BUSINESS . I HOPE THE OWNER WILL READ AND REVIEW HIS EMPLOYEES.

I was entertaining the idea of buying a new Ford Fusion Energy. I called them yesterday and spoke with Eric on the phone. I mentioned a several features that I would like to have in the car. He said he has just the car I was asking for. He asked me to come for a test drive the next day. So I went all the way to yorkdale from downtown today. 1. He showed me the car and it didn’t have the options I asked for(adaptive cruise control). It was disappointing that I was misinformed by a dealership that doesn’t pay attention to detail when it comes to customer service. 2. But I didn’t show my disappointment and took it as a genuine mistake. So I mentioned that the options i asked for are not present. Then I said “can we go for a test drive?”. He immediately said that he doesn’t wanna give me a test drive, because he knows that I’m not buying. His ego came into the scene and said “I sell cars for living and I don’t make money if I don’t sell cars and I know you are not buying this”. I was shocked and also at the same time realized how inexperienced he is in sales. I actually wanted to make him understand the mistake he did. So I said to him if you have let me go for a test drive, I may or may not buy this. But If I feel Ford is the right car for me from the test drive, I may come back and buy another car with all the options I need. Or I might just fall in love with how this car drives and end up buying it. He totally ruined the whole experience and I was so disappointed in how short term are his business plans. At the end of the conversation, he finally decided to give me a test drive. But I already had lost my interest in doing any kind of business with him. So I respectfully refused. I just wanna say to Eric, money doesn’t lead. Money follows. I still wanna buy a Ford Fusion. But definitely not from Yorkdale Ford. It was a waste of my time.

time getting service here for our 2017 Ford Fusion. They managed the appointment process well. I left the car there to get a steering wheel recall fixed and diagnose an airbag light. They resolved the issues efficiently and at no cost in this case. Free shuttle service to the North Lawrence Subway (line 1). 2nd time I needed all my lug nuts replaced due to heat expansion. Had to be extracted and replaced. I was traveling. Staff were very friendly and professional. Work was done in record time. Sheldon was a calm gentleman Coffee, hot chocolate lattes for those who wait. Excellent snd timely service!

Discrimination against people that are mask exempt. Then wants to tell us that it's ok for yorkdale ford to do that. If they don't want to follow the charter, they would like to discriminate. I brought my vehicle in several times for the same warranty issues. They were never able to figure out the problem. The shop foreman even told me they don't spend a lot of time diagnosing warranty issues cause Ford doesn't pay them to find the problem. They only pay them to fix it. So my explorer wasn't a priority for him. Had my issues fixed around the corner at a small independent shop. I rather pay for it then drive around with the issues. Very disappointed in the service department.

My Ford's windshield wiper motor was damaged and the parts my car needed were on backorder. I had been told it could take 4-6 weeks. However, Paul Liu at Yorkdale Ford went above and beyond and spent a lot of his time calling around to other ford dealerships to find the parts I needed. The service department staff are extremely rude. I ordered a part via phone and the next morning the parts dept called me back to let me know it was ready for pickup. I showed up and read the sign on the door to call and the parts would be brought out. I called and called and no one answered the phone. So I went inside. I was met with hostility from the two service advisors saying, “you obviously didn’t read the sign, call the number and your parts will be brought out.” I was so taken back by their attitude so I went outside and called again. This time the phone was answered by a parts person. He brought the parts out and was very polite. He then proceeded to tell me I had to go back inside to pay. I told him I was very rudely told to wait outside, so what was the point of that if I had to come back inside to pay. He said “sorry I just work here, but your right it doesn’t make sense”. I then went inside to pay and was met with even more attitude. The female at the cash desk, didn’t say hello or even look up at me. I handed her the parts form I was given, she responded with, “$27.18”. I asked her what the point of waiting outside was only to be brought back in to pay. She shrugged her shoulders and said, “don’t know” again not even looking up. My family has dealt with Ford and Ford dealers for close to 50 years, never have I ever heard or experienced such utter disrespect to a paying customer at any other location. When I called and asked to speak to a manager after leaving, the female answering the phone sighed and said, “ok hold on”. And I was transferred right to a voicemail, not even to an extension that would ring and give the manager a chance to answer the phone and speak to me. Absolutely disgusting service, and the owners and senior management should be absolutely ashamed of their staff. After reading the other reviews, which I hadn’t until after leaving the location, I am not at all shocked, it seems to be the culture at this location. I had planned on buying my next Ford in a few months from this location, but they have just lost my cash sale.

Firstly, take your business elsewhere. Ford is a good company and this dealership gives it a bad name. My car was brought in late at night by Ford roadside assistance. When I called on Monday they had no record of my car, when I explained the situation they said “well the car was left with the keys and no contact number so we don’t know what to do with it” staunchly as if it were my fault. That’s where it all began. My car had a premature brake hose rupture which is startling because it is a 2017 so I inquired if this was normal they said no. When I came to pick it up I asked for a line to call about the issue to file a report in case this is happening to other vehicles. The receptionist said no and that Ford doesn’t give everyone a survey it is at random and wouldn’t provide me with the number to call. I told them I am a long time customer my family has bought 5 vehicles in the last few years and that so far I have never been treated with such disrespect for asking warranted questions about my vehicle. She left the desk to walk around in a circle as if annoyed with me which is when I just left and googled the Ford helpline myself to which I was given the validation that yes I should be filling a report on a premature brake problem because how else would the company know and perhaps this is a manufacturing error. They won’t know until enough claims are made and had this dealership listened to my concerns and properly addressed the situation I would be writing a very different review. I have since filled two claims with head office honestly I recommend going to summit Ford it is a little further but they treat you with respect.

The reason for that being that it was the closest dealership to me that had the vehicle I specifically wanted in stock. Despite the distance the buying experience was easy and clear. I picked up the vehicle in person of course. I can honestly state that I would personally recommend the salesperson I had the pleasure to deal with, Frank Kekhosravi to any of my friends and family members that live in Toronto. Also I must mention Roy Calica the Finance Manager who explained everything thoroughly without being annoyingly pushy. Go see Lisa North at Yorkdale Ford. Here's what happened…..I shopped online; did my math; called the dealership. This is what I said, " ….salespeople, your all slimy. This is that I want, give me your best price, no B.S. and don't try to sell me." Ms. North, didn't seemed to be phased by my upfront comments, and went to work. She came back with her rock bottom price. Having already shopped other dealerships, I gladly accepted. I knew a good deal when I heard one. Amazingly, I didn't have to take a shower after talking with her, no slime; and did I mention that I didn't even test drive the New F150. Wait I'm not finished. My beautiful Blue Jean F150 was delivered with missing parts! Get this, Lisa actually drove to my home to deliver the missing accessory and made the third party appoint for installation. I didn't have to lift a finger. If you ask me, I'll tell you to go see Lisa. Best experience with a auto sales person, hands down.

My husband and I stopped in to the Yorkdale Lincoln dealership to have a closer look at the Corsair. I had really wanted a Nautilus, but did not want to spend $70,000 on a vehicle. Gary, Lincoln brand manager approached us and we explained why we had stopped in. We didn't have an appointment but Gary immediately showed us the Corsair in the showroom and then invited us to the outside lot to see all the options. While outside, my husband mentioned that it was a Nautilus that I had really wanted but that I didn't want to spend that much. Gary explained that they had just received a 2019 Nautilus back from a lease. Right away he showed us the car and suggested that we take it for a drive. The car was basically brand new; low KM, one owner and still under manufacturer warranty. The price was a steal!! It was a great vehicle and I asked Gary if we could book an appointment and come back to send some time discussing the details the following day. At no point did Gary ever make me feel pressure to purchase. We went back the next day and again said we would let him know the next day if we would purchase. Again, Gary was 100% professional and did not use any hard selling tactics. We ended up buying the Lincoln and could not be happier with the experience. After picking up the vehicle I had a concern with a dash alert that appeared. I was stressed as I thought it might be a big deal. Both Gary, and Monique in the service department took care of everything and once again I left happy. Thank you to Gary and the Lincoln Yorkdale dealership for the great customer experience.

Terrible. On Oct 6th, I was told the engine in my 2018 fusion would have to be replaced with only 73k kms and that there was no date for the new engine to arrive. No update given by November so I called them only to get the same reply. No update given in december so I called only to be given the standard "no date available". I called the ford warranty folks who called the dealership and was told the same story. He checked further and indicated that the parts department had not been told to order it and that the dealership would contact me by the 20th to arrange to have it brought in. The 20th came and went so I called them after christmas and was told the 4th of January would be good and that it could take them up to 4 days. On or about the 7th they called to tell me the engine was done but....there was some damage. The repairs would take 12 days as the parts were coming from the states. The damage amount as stated on the paperwork amounted to $4837.10. When picking up the car on the 21st of January all they had to say was here's your keys. So you be the judge? A quick search of the internet will fill you in on the ford engine issues.

I am sorry to say that I am a member of that cohort of women car owners who know little about the mechanical components of cars beyond the most rudimentary information. I have used this dealership for many, many years and they have come through for me so many times. The Service department has provided prompt service, great explanations and guidance where necessary. I particularly appreciate having women customer service advisors, with Anne being my current "go to" person. I have twice bought a used car here from Sales. When I bought my current car a few years ago I didn't hesitate to take my (then) Service rep's advice and see Arash in Sales. We worked together for a few weeks until he found the right car for me. No pressure sales, just great support. I don't hesitate to recommend this dealership to my women friends who are quite uncomfortable with taking their cars to 'THE GARAGE" for whatever reason.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The service dept is only out to get your hard earned money without any care regarding you or your vehicle. I had paid and scheduled a late pick up, after hours and requested my keys be locked in the truck and was told it would be done immediately. I found out at 10pm when I arrived that my truck was behind the fence inaccessible. I had to Uber back in the morning, being late for work and not only did no one care, I had grease and oil all over my cloth armrest. I spoke to the service manager about both issues and was simply told "sorry things happen"!! No offer to clean or anything. Even after 2 emails to the gm of the dealership and a week later, not a single word from anyone. See you later Yorkdale Ford!!! Spend your time and money elsewhere!

Poor after sales support. Tried to get my new MKC in for its first service. I understand the limitations of available services due to COVID-19, and am okay with that. Obviously normal staff are not manning the phones. If you are going to have someone talking to customer, they need to be well trained. I should not have had to escalate to a manager. The service manager was not very helpful either, yes his hands were tied because lack of staff, again understandable, but I wasn't expecting him to make excuses for the person on the phone. I would have expected a more professional response. My experience with my 1st Lincoln since I have had it off the lot has been less than stellar, the vehicle seems okay, it is that "Lincoln Experience" I have issues with.

Edit: You want more details, here it is. My girlfriend called the service department at your location because she was having rattling issues with her Ford Fiesta. The person on the other line told her to bring her vehicle in on a certain day at 8:30 or 9am. the exact day and precise time i cannot remember since it's been weeks now. the appointment was set and the location date and time was confirmed. When the day finally arrived, we went there and were told that my girlfriend has no appointment. We both had to plan our day and take time off work, only for this to happen. No apology, no sympathy, nothing. It was even more infuriating given that time was wasted in not looking for other places to diagnose and fix her vehicle, during the time between the. phone call and the day of our "appointment".

We have a 2020 Lincoln Aviator from this dealership. After less than a year one of the doors became jammed (it's electronic, which is unnecessary in general.) We brought the car in, they examined it and said they did not have the part, and it would be in in 2-4 weeks. I called back after hearing nothing, and was told the part was finally in. We drove the car back, left it there, and got a call a few hours later saying "oops, it's not here actually. Come back and get it. No idea when it'll be in." We've been back and forth multiple times in the middle of the work day with nothing to show for it. We have 3 car-seats in the car, so the baby needs to be hoisted over the middle row from the other side. For a premium vehicle this is very disappointing service.

I waited four months to write this review just to see if I get the same quality of service and attention that one gets while buying a new vehicle.I went in for my oil change and their attitude was professional and impeccable. The oil change happened with clockwork precision. Sandeep and Ravi are great sales guys, very knowledgable and patient. They helped us pick the best vehicle and we love it. They took care of everything - the paper work and trading off my old vehicles and I did not have to worry about anything as I was in good hands. The only drawback was that their administrative process took too long and the delivery was delayed by more than a week and I had to talk to other dealerships as well. However it got done eventually.

My experience was much better this time than my previous one, where a rag was left in my muffler after maintenance was completed at the Yorkdale location. Chelvin from the Service department at the Yorkdale location is wonderful. Very professional and knowledgeable. I am giving this 3 not 5 stars because I find offensive that the dealership will wash a Lincoln vehicle after maintenance is completed, but not a Ford. You are out of the same building. The same dealership. You make it look like Ford is for lower class people or something. Doesn't make a Ford customer feel like purchasing another Ford vehicle, ever again.
