I got my first car here at Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda from JP Hernandez, one of the wonderful salesmen at the dealership. Not only did he demonstrate specific functionalities of the Mazda 3 I was hoping to buy, but he built a strong relationship with me and my father which made us comfortable with moving forward with Mazda. He was delightful to coordinate with and was extremely patient with us when I had to make some last minute changes to my lease. I was always told that getting a car was very tedious and time-consuming but JP undoubtedly made the entire experience seamless and quick for my family and I. I'll be looking forward to coming back to Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda for any of my future endeavors regarding my new car and I would definitely recommend everyone to check it out if you're looking to purchase a new car as well.

Great car buying experience--this is a "no haggle" dealership and I really appreciated that. We took 2 test drives with the Mazda 6 to put it through its paces, and Kyle was patient in taking us through the new technology we didn't have in our 2004 Mazda. We probably wouldn’t have walked out of the showroom that night with our first new car had it not been for Anna. She brings a very different dimension to the sales team at Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda, something I’m sure they already appreciate. We had visited other showrooms before, but were handled in the same cookie cutter way. Faces changed but sales techniques didn’t: a lot of numbers, some attempted intimidation, with a pinch of scaring you, and made up deadlines ending soon….same approach everywhere. But Anna’s human and personal approach made us confident that we were at the right place. By the time we left the place late in the night, we felt that we had a good enough relationship with her and the dealership so that if need some help or guidance after the purchase we would be in good hands. The dealership overall has a good atmosphere, they are customer oriented, and professional. Even Joe, the finance manager, was nice and helpful. In summary - this must be one of the worst dealerships around in Canada. Even if you do decide to deal with them, stay away from the salesperson named Juan Paul (or JP for short). He is basically a conman in a suit, who will sweet talk his way into selling you something, and once his job is done, he will not answer your calls, keep you waiting for him at the dealership for hours at a time without any remorse. The service personnel, although a bit more professional, promise quick service and yet do not live up to them. In short, if you decide to go for a Mazda, visit any of the other dealerships like Toronto Mazda or Gyro Mazda, never this one.

At almost 50, this is far from being my first car shopping rodeo. Wow is all I can say, actually I should say Almit, Almit, Almit! This guy is not your run of the mill take your cash and run kind of guy. After window shopping for an affordable price at a number of dealerships, Almit won my business hands down. I purchased a used 2011 Mazda from this dealership in February 2013. I called to book a test drive and dealt with Matt. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and spoke about pricing and dealer programs in a very friendly and open manner. Shortly after the first test drive, I made an appointment for a second test drive and dealt with Bobby who was also very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We arranged a price that was suitable for my budget and I happily purchased the car. I dealt with Anthony in the finance department and he did a great job of ensuring that I was informed of my options and the details of financing. I had purchased the week before a long weekend and they made sure that it was ready for pickup before the end of the week. A week later, I returned to the dealership because the car was warning me that the batteries in my smart key were low. Bobby arranged for someone in the service department to help me out free of charge and the batteries in both sets of keys were replaced. Overall, I had a great experience with this dealership and everyone I dealt with was very helpful. The service is outstanding and the people are fantastic. Got my certified pre-owned soul red Mazda 3 (2016) GS from here last summer and it was under 17,000 total KM's; not only was it practically like new I was more thrilled that when it came to affordability without sacrificing quality Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda made my budget work and came through for me and in the end I got a great vehicle with all the bells and whistles. I was also somehow able to negotiate Apple Car Play installed for FREE through the sales team and although they put up one heck of a fight negotiating with me as they knew others were interested I still ended up paying a bit less than what they were asking for too. I am very satisfied and I continue to have my vehicle serviced here as well as tires stored here seasonally. I really must give a huge shoutout to Stephen and Darren as any questions, concerns, issues, or overall support when I need it these guys go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. I also want to acknowledge that they let me keep my vehicle stored here for about 2 months when I was transitioning from G1 to G2 at no additional cost. Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda truly does it better, and actually treats their cliental like family not just customers or a quick sale to meet their monthly quota. I definitely recommend this dealership!

Their customer service here is an absolute nightmare. Tried calling 5 times which resulted in a hold, then someone disconnects the line. When I finally get through, the front desk sends my call to an automated voice-mail. Fatima answered the calls and said let me put you through the manager, Anna. The phone rings for a few seconds then the line gets disconnected. Either Anna declines her calls (which is highly unprofessional and absurd) or there is tech error which needs to be rectified asap! My advice is to take your business elsewhere where your time is valued!

What I truly value with Kyle is his whole no pressure attitude that really made us feel comfortable and think properly in making this investment. I recently purchased a Mazda 3 Sedan from here and was very happy with the total experience and service provided. I have been to many dealers in the last two months including other Mazda dealers but was often put off by over pushy salesmen at other dealers. Cole Ferry is amazing and was very patient with us explaining the different trim levels and he took his time allowing us to test drive multiple vehicles. He also did not rush us while test driving their cars as opposed to other sales staff at some other dealers. Had a very stressful 6 weeks of Mazda yorkdale hanging me in the air about the status of my vehicle after selling me the vehicle by assuring its arriving in 2-3 weeks by almit. After complaining to the manager Ali erol 4 weeks later, I was asked to cancle the car by another sales person named Coner. Felt like Dufferin Mazda wanted to get rid of me everytime I spoke to any representative. After denying the cancelation, a week later I get a call saying the same car was sold to me ( after providing a VIN) and another customer, apparently due to a "computer glitch". Hence we were time and again offered to either cancel the deal, go for a more expensive option because the car will never arrive. To maintain a long-term relationship and keep a customer happy is an art which they definitely need to learn specially in these situations. The only compensation I was offered was a sorry and a reminder that we are lucky we are atleast getting a car. I am happy for having the patience to hang in there and get the car. But when I think of the experience it's highly disappointing.

Went to shop for Mazda 3 sportback GT. The welcome at the reception was not that great. I think the receptionist should make an eye contact with people waiting in line rather than we going ourselves forward to get her attention. That is etiquette 101. The sales representative Frank was great to talk over phone however I found him a bit pushy in person. He was pushing me to lease when I wanted to finance. I understand you need to make a sale but not by being pushy. He wanted me to make a decision right then and there to buy the car - while I told him I need time to think and have to Test drive other brands. Spoke about rebate which won’t be next month and stuff to create a sense of urgency. Well in the end - I did not buy a car from here. They act like buying a car is equivalent to buying a pizza. Duh !!! I think there are better dealers than this. Edit - Frank did get in touch with me to explain the situation and the reasons for his suggestions. I duly appreciate him making an effort to make it right. Increasing the rating to 3.

Very disappointed in the level of customer service from this dealership - if I could give a negative star I would. I dealt with rep Will and manager Shoon. I was very upfront and honest with them from the beginning and they did not deliver the same level of respect back. I showed them a quote on my phone from another party that was quite competitive. They asked to take my phone which I allowed, but I did not expect them to scroll through my entire WhatsApp conversation without me being present in the room. Will promised me a specific price via email in which he stated he got manager approval. The exact same day, I met him at the dealership and they immediately went back on their word and did not honour what they quoted me via email. It took me HOURS of discussion back-and-forth for them to agree to the price THEY initiated via email. I asked for my $1000 deposit back as refund and wanted to walk away. But eventually they agreed and I wanted this deal to be done with. They told me 3-4 weeks until the car will be ready for me. After the 3rd week, I reached out to Will for an update. A few days later, they told me the order had been cancelled from Mazda Canada due to production issues. There was no signs of empathy and barely an apology. They offered me to take a car that they had in-stock but I had to pay full MSRP price -- not what we initially agreed upon in our SIGNED document for the Offer To Lease Contract. Guess SALES FINAL doesn't mean much. Was this a bait and switch tactic? Potentially. But they should've known ahead of time if the order was cancelled due to production issues, before making me wait 3 weeks after. If I didn't reach out, who knows how long I would've waited... They did not provide a fair solution after discovering the production issue. Even though this location is close to my house, I'll be heading to another dealership to get the same car.

I purchased my Mazda here over 3 years ago and customer service here has always been pretty good. However, the service I received (or lack thereof) today has been absolutely terrible. I scheduled my service appointment for routine oil change here two weeks ago for 8:30AM. I dropped off my car on time and explained to the reception that I have to be at an appointment in 2 hours, he explained it would be done in about 1.5 hours. No problem, I told him I would wait. I take a seat in the waiting area and two hours pass by. I walk up to the reception and kindly ask for an estimate on when the service will be completed. He replies "we actually haven't started yet". TWO HOURS of waiting with an appointment time and they hadn't even started. They didn't even bother to give me an update or have the courtesy to advise me that there was a delay. They could have at least called me or let me know that it was going to take longer than expected and I could have adjusted my later appointments. I was furious, and asked to have my car keys back. He tried to explain afterwards that there was delay - but what was the point? I wasted 2 hours of my time and then was told there was nothing else he could do for me. I took my keys and left.. The customer service I received here today was absolute garbage. EDIT - The receptionist called back and apologized, and offered to help me out and scheduled another timing for me to come back in today. He was very helpful and was very attentive to my concerns. He went above and beyond to make alternate arrangements and I am pleased to say I am very satisfied with the way they handled this issue. Thank you Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda.

Everything went smooth and quick, and I will recommend two of them to anybody interested to get a Mazda. June 17, 2019... Quick update on my experience at Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda. I had annual service appointment at 12:00. Arrived at 11:54 at the service desk, surrendered my key and signed work order. I was told that service would take about 2 hours. About 1.5 hours after, I walked around ans saw my car at the exact same spot. After I inquired about my service completion, I realized that something was not right. After about 10 minutes Service Representative (First initial G.) came to me with car keys and work order in hands. Apparently they forgot to service my car for the time I was waiting (somebody made a mistake). I took my key, surrendered 10% off card I had with them and left this dealership for good. From 5 stars to 1 star. If you do not mind hanging out in their dealership watching TV, it is definitely the place to go.

I recommend this dealership for class, and the best treatment I had while purchasing a new vehicle. I forgot, when you decide to purchase your vehicle and all the paperwork is done, you get to ring the gong, it is so fun and makes you feel like a million bucks. After meeting with Kyle, right off the bat I was impressed with his calm, knowledgeable, and considerate demeanor. It's quite apparent that Kyle has a passion for cars. The experience at this dealership was terrible. The staff was unprofessional and was not friendly. My parents did not understand cars and needed professional guidance, but very unfortunately met a sales who just cared about profit margin. He thinks that since my parents paid the deposit its a done deal, and does not really want to spend time to talk to us. It was the day to pick up the car, and we asked if they can kindly help us change the tires to our winter tires as winter is coming, and he keep saying that he cannot do it for free. The dealership should really be happy that they have such a dedicated sales who should get 5 stars at keeping their dealership profit in mind. He told my parents that the old roof rack can be installed onto the new car, but it was not the case. So we were striving to negotiate for a solution to assist my parents to get a roof rack as we are in the renovation business. I asked if we can meet each other half way and he keep saying about their profits and I only wanted free. It took a very long time that he finally give us 10% off as all Mazda customers gets and install for us. This is a dealership who is not flexible to anything. Run if you can!

Honestly it was a pretty bad experience buying a car here. Oddly, the sales guy was the best part. My delivery day was a bit of a nightmare though. No winter mats (which I paid for), wrong winter tires on the car. And then 30 mins after driving away I have a tire pressure light. On a brand new car. Edit: Turns out if you don’t ask for TPMS on the winters, you have a warning light all winter. I would’ve paid for it. Apallingly poor service. They solved the winter mats with the upgraded ones, so credit is due there. But the answer on the tires was “Either you take them or wait longer.”

Had to pay 1.5x to transfer registration, all because they couldn't follow instructions and don't want to take the blame. The amount I had to pay was small, but the headache is not worth it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I bought my Mazda three years ago from this place plus the Mazda Extended Warranty. VERY poor customer service and stuff! They did such a terrible job maintaining my car that they put MY ENTIRE FAMILY to serious risk. Two lawyers are already involved with this and preparing a lawsuit against this dealership. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Went in to test drive a cx-5. The gentleman, who's name I believe is Ahmed, was so short with us. In as few words as possible, he told us they had 1 of the cars we were interested in left and if we didn't buy it on the spot it would be gone. No options, no nothing. The entire experience was under 5 minutes and my wife and I left and were both beyond put off. I don't think I've ever had a worse sales experience in my life. As someone with a sales background, I appreciate honesty, but this was brash, abrasive and cold. I understand that it's a great time to be a car salesperson, given the microchip shortage and the market in general, but wow what a HORRIBLE experience, especially having just come from another, much much nicer experience elsewhere.

Hello, Just want everyone to know my sisters experience at Yorkdale Mazda with sales rep Kyle and the manager. She saw a car she liked but they did not have it in stock, they said they would order it for her but it would be up to 2 months to arrive, they said she should give them a $1000 deposit that is refundable if she changed her mind. The NEXT day we went back to Yorkdale Mazda and asked for the deposit, she was told it was non refundable and it can be used on another car of her choice as a credit. They confirmed the car has not yet been ordered, Kyle even confirmed to us that he said it was refundable and I video recorded him saying this. When he called the manager into the office, the manager said the best they can do is give her a credit towards another car. Needless to say she did not buy any car from this company, and no they did not refund her the money. Mazda is a good car, I would just recommend buying from another dealership in Toronto as I know at least sales rep Kyle and the manager at Yorkdale Mazda are not trustworthy people. If you do decide to buy from here, do not sign anything or give over any deposit no matter what they say. If anybody at Mazda responds to this saying I am lying I will post the video of Kyle in his office telling us the money is refundable, as well as the email chain with Kyle and my sister where he confirms everything that I just said. I understand you want to sell cars and make a living, but ruthlessly stealing the publics hard earned money is just heartless.

I bought a used Honda Civic 2010 from Almit (yes, from a Mazda dealership!, Haha). I had a wonderful time purchasing my first car, along side Almit, as he was a great help. Any needs I had (I would literally call 3 times a day to make sure everything was being done, which it always was and always with a prompt answer/no wait time), as it is a large sum of money for me. There were a few problems with the car upon initial purchase because it was a used car, but Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda took many hours to tend to all needs my dad and I had - as well as most wants I had with the car. The doors were re-painted, the scratches were all buffed out, the wheel was aligned, new tires were put on, and many more aspects that made my new car feel like new!!! I appreciate the service here and 100% recommend this dealership, as it is trustworthy and respectful. I will likely bring my service next time to them as well.

After almost 40 years of buying cars, I can truly say that this last transaction was by far the most pleasurable car buying experience I have ever had. Thanks to all of the great folks involved for making it so easy. I have purchased 4 cars from Mazda of Toronto. I found the service advisors to be arrogant and demeaning even though none of them are mechanics. I switched to Yorkdale Dufferin and could not be happier. They are all so knowledgeable and respectful. I just bought a new car this week from them and the sales staff was amazing. My only complaint ( and this is with all dealerships) is that after you go through the uncomfortable sale experience with the sales person, you then have to go into the finance person where they try and brow beat you into warranty sales. When you are done with them, your payment is now 50-100 dollars more per month than what you negotiated with the sales person. Why can they not just do it all together ! As I said, this is not unique to this dealership so I will give them a pass. But the industry really should take a look at their methods.

I went to four different dealerships this weekend and this was by far the worst experience of them all. I was interested in a Mazda 3. I wanted to get my Honda appraised and was very interested in doing a deal if the numbers were right. I was told I would have to give them a deposit before they would show me any numbers. So I was chatting with Sarah, a live chat professional. I asked her the simplest question possible, a quote for an oil change on my Mazda CX9. She then proceeded to ask for my email and phone number, and the kilometres on my car. I asked her what does kilometers have do to with getting me a quote on an oil change. She then said she could definitely help me with that but then never responded. Shouldn't waste people's time if the live chat professional isn't professional at all. The manager from this location called me to clarify that the live chat professional was from a third party company and the representative's job was just to take down info and forward to Mazda so they could contact customers later. It was a misunderstanding. That being said, the live chat representative should have stated this from the beginning. Any regular customer who uses the live chat would assume that they are talking to someone from Mazda. Perhaps this is something Mazda could demand from this third party company, to have them state that they have no expertise in the automotive industry and are not equipped to answer questions on the spot.

I was looking for a new vehicle to purchase and found the service at Mazda to be excellent. Alan Aloysious was the sales agent/representative that helped me. I wasn't necessarily looking to buy a new car right away, but he presented his case and sold me over. The trade-in price was fair and the incentives were hard to beat. I went to two other dealerships (Kia and Toyota) and they were not as helpful or eager to convince me that now would be the time to purchase a new car. The Mazda managers and service staff were also very professional and helpful. I came away with a 2016 Mazda 3 sedan and have been happy ever since. My experience with this dealership was mediocre. They are administratively sloppy and make many paperwork errors which you need to be watchful of. They also aren’t the most transparent with financing/leasing as, at least in my case, they didn’t provide a full breakdown of all costs and fees which left me doing my own calculations to approximate what I paid for the vehicle based on the monthly payment. I wouldn’t give the dealer 1 star because I genuinely love Mazda vehicles and didn’t have a horror story, but certainly from my experience they could do many things better.

The people there were nice but did not deliver upto the mark. I bought my new car in November 2020 with Remote Starter and now its been almost 5 months and I am yet to receive it. What’s the point in paying the money when you cannot use it during the peak winter season. Ruined the experience for me. If they had informed me before hand then it would have been fine but they informed me about the delay in remote starter arrival after everything was signed and on the day I went there to pick up my car. Very unprofessional. Even then they said I would get it by December 2020 but still no luck and its April 2021. It is me who have to message them every month to check rather than them being proactive and informing me for further delay. As a professional organization it should be their courtesy to offer some kind of compensation to cover up for the service which I payed for but I am yet to receive. I do not want to blame any person in particular but rather the whole dealership. Very dissatisfied.

After test driving the Mazda cx5gt, we really liked it but what made us come back to make the deal today, was the wonderful customer service from our salesman, Anton and Shoom. I went to a few dealerships and test drove a few models. What "drove" me to my decision to purchase my new Mazda 3 Sport was the exceptional level of knowledge of Kyle, my salesperson. He was upfront during the whole transaction and addressed any concerns that I had. There was no pressure and I felt completely at ease making the final decision. It was a pleasure dealing with Kyle and would recommend him to anyone interested in buying a vehicle. The only blip during the transaction was the reception desk - the person manning the station barely acknowledged my presence on the few occasions that I had to step in. Mazda makes a fine car. The finance department is terrible. I have a 10:15 appointment. It is currently 11:50. They are telling me she is with a customer.I'm buying my car off lease. They all ready have my money, so I don't matter. It's not the first time I've been giving the run around from her. All I can say is purchase elsewhere.

Just bought a new CX-5 from Kyle this week. We came in late on a Monday just to inquire about the options available at Mazda, and Kyle was willing to stay hours after closing time to answer all our questions and make sure we understood everything about the car we were buying, and even all the alternative options. When we went to pick up the car, Kyle had set aside a couple of hours to make sure we understood every button and knob on the dashboard, that we had a servicing appointment already set, and that we knew everything about the car we were buying, and what options it offered us. Went to this location with my daughter to purchase her first car. Started off well as we were nicely greeted by a young salesman. Told him what we were looking for and he went to get us a vehicle for a test drive. While walking around the showroom we were greeted by another gentleman, I use that term very lightly. He claimed to be the Manager. For starters he got right in our personal space while not wearing a mask. He then proceeded to ask us if we were buying the car today. I explained we were just starting our search. It was at this point he became very disinterested. His conversation trailed off as he walked away. We then decided to leave without test driving the vehicle. This place has a lot to learn about customer service. Will not be back.

We made and appointment via the online chat as we weren’t sure how things would work in the current COVID-19 environment. When we arrived, they had hand sanitizer at multiple locations, everyone was wearing masks and social distancing was observed. The showroom was spotless. We were greeted by Shoon who was very friendly and welcoming. We then met with Anton at our scheduled time. He was wonderful - very friendly and knowledgeable. We knew exactly what we wanted (a 2020 CX-5 GX) and there was no hard sell or attempts to up-sell to a more luxury model. They were going to sanitize a vehicle for us to take a test drive but as we had rented one previously, we didn’t need to go for one. Shoon and Anton went above and beyond to make our car buying experience stress free and enjoyable. We felt they were both very honest, professional and genuine. It was obvious they really stand behind their brand, are interested in developing long term relationships with their clients and worked with us so we could get what we wanted. Anna was also wonderful and worked with us to get rustproofing for our new car. She even arranged for someone to drive us home as we didn’t have a car and it was a very hot humid day. Amazing! Two days later they arranged for us to be picked up to get our new car and it was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. The whole process was so smooth and we absolutely love our new CX-5. Been loyal to the dealer but the service is time to change, because paying 273,94$ for a oil+filter changes and install winter tire without rotate it is ridiculos when for the same service on Ford with my F-150 and spent $94,04.
