Nice new building but short on inventory. Hope that the chip issue resoves itself or cars are designed around a better tecnology. Wondering with NEC how this could be happening. I generally prefer buying local and after driving a bow tie Corolla, a Prism and Yaris between 200,000 to 300,000 miles with very minor repairs after a European car with new repairs three times in a row, plan to stick it out and hope the supply chain improves. As a Toyota purist would not mind seeing a restored 1965 small Toyota or an early Celica and for the dealer to keep the American Muscle Cars at home. I like the service department here and have used it for 16 years. Price is always reasonable.

Hands down the worst & most embarrassing customer service experience I have ever had. I will do my best to make my experience as concise as possible. We called them & spoke with a salesperson last Monday & expressed that we would like to stop by the dealership, view a specific car & possibly test drive it. An appointment was made for the coming Wednesday, a $500 hold was placed on the car & my hubby explained to said salesman that the car will be paid for UPFRONT with NO financing. We showed up on Wednesday to honor our appointment with the intention to test drive the car & if all goes well we would purchase it & take it home the same day. A credit check was done without our consent or knowledge and it was completely unnecessary seeing that it was said that the car will be paid for upfront. Their excuse was that they thought the vehicle would be financed. A long story made shorter, we decided not to do business there & requested to speak with a manager before we left just to express that we think for future reference they should probably say something BEFORE instead of after. However, the minute my hubby started speaking he was accused of having an attitude & the manager was basically trying to undermine what he had to say. We quickly realized that our concern was falling on deaf ears so we expressed the fact that we no longer wanted to do business & would like all the photocopies of our documents and the refund returned to us and that now we understand why the reviews on yelp are the way they are. He got upset and walked away then came back with 3 copies of a refund receipt and a pen & threw them on the table; which proved our very point. He started yelling at us on top of his voice that he was the owner & we are attacking him & his business & since we made it clear that we don’t want to be here we should sign the papers & get out. We tried to de-escalate the situation but he was still on top of his voice yelling at us about being the owner and that we’re attacking his place of business. What took me by surprise was that with all the yelling & rage, his employees seemed unfazed; like this sort of thing happens all the time. I would like to think that the way the situation was handled was not racially motivated but I left the dealership feeing like it was. He called my hubby 40 minutes later with the most underwhelming apology I have ever heard & still suggested that his actions was because he worked hard for his business and we were attacking it. If I could give it -5 stars, I would.

Generally, the service department is excellent here and I've found them to be very honest; the services managers are friendly. Prices can be a bit high depending on what your car needs and the appointment setters aren't overly friendly, but overall I've had a good experience, getting 3 cars serviced her over the last couple of years.

Do not go to this service center, particularly women!!!! I would like to start off by saying that I am so embarrassed for them that I have to write this. I never give reviews, but this needs to be said. After waiting two hours for an INSPECTION to be completed, they come out and tell me since the low air pressure light is on, it may take them a little longer now as they need to figure out why, but everything else passed on the car (save this thought for later, cuz this gets better). Slightly perturbed that it has been two hours and they are not finished a simple inspection on a car that is three years old and that they seem to be struggling figuring out the great mystery that a tire or two needs air, I clarified with the man again that everything else was good. So now fast forward another good half hour, the man comes back out and tells me yeah they solved the great mystery of low tire pressure but oops your wiper blades need replaced. Yeah, I am irritated at this point. But when he went on to say that I needed an oil change to pass inspection, I stopped him right there and told me to get my car. That, ladies and gentlemen is text book scam particularly with women. Look it up. Plenty of articles to warn you about it. You do not need an oil change to pass inspection. Dirty dirty dealings this place. So another half an hour later, the man comes out to check me out. So I ask him about what I will need to do to pass inspection, to where he now ADMITS I only need a wiper blades (which are passible btw, I have asked another mechanic). I call him out on it. I go out to my car and they never even washed it like they said they would!!!!! Oh, but the wonderful customer service isnt over yet. So I drive home to calm down and call the manager. She calls me back and tries to defend the guy saying to me that is not what he meant. Well guess what? That is what he said. You never ever ever should justify this type of behavior ever! I certainly expected more of this place. So disappointed that not only this happened, but that someone calls me back to try to defend it. Huge scam. Don't EVER go to a place you cannot trust! In am done with these guys. #sexdiscrimination #toyotaofyork

I bought an amazing little car here after much searching. Price was knocked down to auction price and the bumpers were fixed free of charge because we were concerned about them. Whole process was so easy and everyone was so accommodating. When my check engine light came on within a week of purchase, they fixed the oxygen sensor for free since I had just bought it. Jim was so awesome working with us on financing options and was always available when we had questions. Everyone was so helpful and definitely deserve the five stars.

I think this dealership has an identity crisis. On the one hand Mary in the internet department was great! She always responded to my messages promptly and offered a good price on the car I was looking for. She carefully took the time to explain the benefits of buying from their dealership and arranged our appointment for the test drive. Unfortunately you don't get to deal with her at the dealership and when I went for my test drive the service was completely the opposite of my online expereince. First off, I'm not sure of the vibe the dealership was going for but it was unlike any other Toyota dealership I have ever been in. Upon arriving at the dealership I was greeting by a salesmen in a T-shirt and baseball hat, inside the dealership had loud obnoxious music playing and the showroom was old looking, dirty and disheveled. I'm not sure if they are trying to cater to a younger crowd or just don't want to update like other modern Toyota dealerships. In general the visit was unpleasant and made us uncomfortable. Despite the appearance apparently they still use old school sales tactics to sell cars. We were just there to hear their appraisal for our trade. Rather then give us a number they sent the Finance manager out with an offer sheet full of all sorts of numbers, which made no sense since they didn't know the details of our trade. We simply wanted a number, they were pushing for a sale right then and there. When we told him we weren't going back and forth on the price for our trade he kept insisting we had to have a price we wanted. When we said we would go home and discuss he finally relented only to have the sales manager come over to try and do the same thing. He asked what he could do and I simply said let us go. The whole experience was a big show and not a very effective one at that. There are pretty good reasons why there are numerous one star reviews for this dealership. They still play the ole numbers game with you even with advent of the internet. I get they are trying to make money but it shouldn't be with the ole bait and switch where they get you in with a good price on their car, only to insult you with a low price for your trade. There are plenty of better dealerships in Central, PA to buy a Toyota. Do yourself a favor and shop with them first before ever considering this one, unless of course you enjoy old school sales tactics and poor service. Perhaps they should have Mary out on the sales floor instead of the internet team because she is probably the best sales person they have.

My preface is that I have rarely had good experiences at dealerships, so if car hunting is something you enjoy, then take my review with a grain of salt. Like any place, there is a whole song and dance before any real numbers start coming in. Staff is either not listening to what you are saying, or they don't care. The manager was fine to work with and had a pleasant demeanor, but the negotiations took too long and the price wasn't right (for me, at least). Again, like any place, there is pressure, and you have to constantly either ignore it or have the stamina to keep going. Good luck with your car search. Please don't get an obnoxious car that wakes up children at 10 pm when you bomb through the neighborhood like an . . .

If there would be a negative 5 Stars. I would have DEFINITELY chose that one. I stopped by for a quick oil change. Thinking it was like Vakvaline, Jiffy Lube, etc. Service check-in kids were very rude, disrespect, and lazy. It was if they didn't have time to bother with me. They said, it will be about a 2 hour wait. You should have called. Then they chuckled to each other and started their conversation with each other again. No were sorry or goodbye from those kids. Poor representing of York Toyota. I'll be going to Lancaster Toyota for any future service on my Rav4.

Great service, great sales people, the only big problem I have is the car wash is never open. It’s 58° today and the carwash is not open. Every other car wash in York is open why is it “too cold” for Toyota’s?? If I spent as much money as I did I feel like the wash should be open unless it’s under 40°......Other than that, great experience.

Will, at York Toyota Service recently quoted me $520.98 to install a hitch and wiring harness. JUST INSTALLATION. I made it clear more than once that I had the hitch and wiring harness and Will confirmed the price was just for installation. I asked why it cost so much, he said they would probably have to take the rear bumper off. Then I followed up with a call to the service manager, I believe his name is Nick, and he backed up the quote. AND said they also will need to remove the stabilizer bar. The manager did offer a better price, even though he backed up the original quote. The "discounted" price was still much more than what I paid for having someone else do it. How can I even trust them now? Do they think I'm stupid because I'm a woman? There is no reason to remove the back bumper and stabilizer bar. Glad I have another Toyota dealer to go to for service.

Service is good, as I would expect from a Toyota dealer. But I'm knocking my rating to three stars because, well, only ONE courtesy shuttle driver? Seriously? I had to wait almost an hour to get a shuttle ride to my nearby office after dropping my car this morning. This was my first time using the courtesy shuttle service at this dealer but, at other dealerships in the area, I have never had to wait more than about 10-15 minutes at most for a shuttle ride. Nearly an hour is excessive, and surely the only Toyota dealer in the immediate area could afford to hire more drivers.

My experience so far, is better here than the two Toyota locations in Harrisburg. Constant run around..no one knows what's going on. Ridiculous or non existent customer service. Receptionists and service advisors making stuff up either because they don't know or don't care. Didn't cancel my appointment when they failed to receive my part on time but let me sit in the waiting room for two and a half hours while they did something else, then had to come back again once part arrived and be inconvenienced twice. Trying to make me buy a belt they didn't have, so I would pay to stock it prior to them scheduling also...what. No one does that. Who pays for something so they will stock it first. Idiots. Don't bother servicing your car...they will just make something up to tell you. "We don't have your belt so you pay for it so we can stock it then we will schedule you to have belt replaced". Who does that? "We don't do recalls on Saturdays" but had sat the previous Saturday while they completed a recall. They just tell you whatever they feel like.

Edit: never heard a word from them. Took another follow-up phone call and they finally sent the refund. I took a hard inquiry on the credit report for nothing. Koons has called me once every two weeks with updates on inventory. I haven't even ordered anything. They just check in. Giving them a try in a few weeks. Original review: I am giving them a average rating since I know it is tough with inventory right now. With that said, I spent over 2 months waiting on an ordered vehicle. Communication was not very good and required followup calls and visits just to get 2 updates during this process. In the end, they basically gave up and are refunding the deposit. Some of this is definitely on Toyota but the dealer bears some responsibility too. I will update if we complete a purchase with them.

I use the dealership for service also as the first two years are included with new Toyotas, and even got a year free for a non-Toyota certified used vehicle. Free car washes if you keep your dealer sticker and license plate frame on! Free yearly inspection (not emissions).

As written in a feedback form, here's what I had to say about my recent visit to the service department... This visit to the service department was the best yet. I had forgotten to mention about needing windshield washer fluid. Yet, you guys took care of that without my having had to ask. The service was completed in a timely manner and the car wash was done well.

Hi, my name is Bill. In February of 2021 I bought a used 2014 Toyota Tacoma from 160 miles away, going only by photos and the info provided. I bought it remotely, and they delivered it to me all that distance! It had about 35k miles, which is rare. I was very nervous about buying a truck site unseen. But when it arrived, it was like brand new. It really looked like no one ever drove it. Perfect exterior, perfect interior. Drove like new. The funny part is that the saleman never tried to bend my arm. He was very helpful and laid back, giving me room to make my own decision. I'm glad I did. I feel very lucky. My sales guy, by the way, was Logan Sprigle. The guys who delivered it with all paperwork were super professional and had highlighted all the places to sign so we could keep covid-distant. I hope my truck lasts forever. My neighbors are jealous that I found such peach. I found the original 1-owner guy and called him and he said that he had kept it garaged 24-7 and rarely drove it. Lucky me.

A lot of cars available, priced are in par with other New car dealers. They also have a nice selection of used cars as well. I also used the mechanic to change the oil in the car. The waiting room has a lot to be desired as it is small and could use a face lift.

This place can be very pushy. Almost immediately after pulling in the parking lot, a salesmen will be walking toward you with drool coming from the mouth at the thought of a potential sale, even in the "no salesman zone." Watch for dealer markup on the price of their vehicles, you'll see that they're selling for well over MSRP. Toyotas are generally very reliable so I give some stars for that alone. As long as you come expecting to be followed around by a salesman, you'll be fine, just like any other large purchase, make sure you do your research BEFORE you come.

What a wonderful experience! There have been times in the past when car shopping that even when the numbers are decent I find myself reluctant to make a purchase as the experience doesn't feel right. That is not the case at Toyota of York. Through working with Justin Moul I could not have had a more satisfying time shopping for a vehicle. Everybody through the process was a pleasure to deal with and even after all of the paperwork was signed, that didn't change. The prices shown are the true prices, unlike other dealerships that might advertise rebates that most people aren't eligible for or not disclosing all of the fees on the price, it isn't like that. Complete transparency that you know exactly what you are getting yourself into when you start looking at vehicles. If you are even thinking about buying a Toyota, I would hands down check out this dealership before wasting your time somewhere else.

Parts department is totally unreasonable. I was quoted $200 OVER list price for a steering rack for my 4Runner, which did not include any installation or tax. When the parts sales rep was confronted with a competitive price, part price quickly dropped to $100 below list. The fact that I could still buy the exact same part, ship it overnight (I've called the competitor, they have it on the shelf) from Virginia or drive down and pick it up the same day for a minimum $100+ savings tells me they're unwilling to work with the common consumer on parts prices. I couldn't be more disappointed with my experience with the parts associate. Asked for a manager and never got one, just the price slightly under list. I'll be getting my parts from McGeorge Toyota in Virginia like I have before. Toyota of York is not very knowledgeable on what they're selling (was told this comes with and without inner tie rods by two separate associates) nor are they willing to negotiate or give any discounts on prices, even with a substantial $500+ parts only order. Not saying the same for the service department, as they were very informative in the shop and extremely knowledgeable with my questions. Very helpful, even without my truck there.. Just their retail parts counter that has rubbed me the wrong way several times due to price, lack of knowledge and unwillingness to accept the fact that they're unreasonable in their profits on parts. It seems they're all about their markup and barely give an inch even when confronted with a competitive price on the same part. Zero interest in getting my business. For reference, I was quoted over $900 for part number 44250-35042, then dropped to mid $600 range after I showed them the $500.47 McGeorge price. No labor or installation was ever a factor. McGeorge has this part number in stock and would not require additional wait time, could be overnighted for an additional $74.94, still coming in under the Toyota of York price of over $600, which would arrive the next/same day depending on order cutoff times from their warehouse. I don't appreciate being obviously taken advantage of several times by this dealer and just want to let the other "shade tree" Toyota mechanics know what they're in for when they call. This is the kind of stuff that I try to prevent by doing my own work. Shouldn't have to deal with it while getting the highest quality OEM parts.

The last service that I had done at Toyota of York was a horrible experience. This is the second bad experience of 3 visits that I have had there. I went in to have the fuel pump on my Tacoma replaced due to a factory recall. I showed up on time and with about an eighth of a tank of fuel. When I left the service center, I stopped to fill up at the local gas station. After watching the fuel quantity on the station pump exceed what I thought should be the maximum amount, I stopped pumping and looked under my Tacoma. I was leaking fuel onto the ground and it was running down the slightly sloped parking lot. I went back to the Toyota of York Service Center and explained the issue. I was initially told it would take hours to get my Tacoma in to get looked at. I explained to the Service Center personnel that I had just left and that something that they did or did not do, was causing this. Eventually they did get my Tacoma in and the cause of the problem was determined to be a clip that a technician failed to engage causing an open system. Aside from the lost time and fuel spill at the gas station, this caused an enormous safety issue for both myself and others near me at the fuel pump. I have since decided that all future services for both of my Toyota vehicles will be done at the Hanover dealership. It is a longer drive but I have more confidence in the job being done correctly.

Terrible experience with trying to get my car serviced this morning. Always enjoyed using Toyota of York until today. Talk to two different women on the phone the first one hung up on me and never transferred me to the service advisor. The second one was quoting stuff from a car I didn't own. I asked what the 100 point inspection they do with the oil change involved neither one would answer my question. Also told me it was $115 fee to diagnose a problem that I told them I was having with a wheel bearing. I guess this dealership turned into scam artists like every other dealership in York. I recommend you use a regular mechanic instead of using the stealership

Took our car to Toyota for an oil change, repair of gas door, and a rattle we were hearing. Received a call from Will saying three major things were found... car needs new breaks, a nail in tire that could not be repaired and a broken part that needed to be ordered. Was quoted $1475 for all service. Nothing about gas door mentioned. Called back and said don’t touch tire it’s under warranty somewhere else. Had car inspected 3 months ago and no mention of breaks, however shocks were mentioned. Next day Toyota called to say door had to be ordered and car would need to be brought back for another $175. Funny how Toyota said nothing about shocks but yet claimed breaks. Went to pick car up and bill was still $1475 with no tire listed and no gas door listed. Spent twenty minutes discussing this and bill dropped to $1241. Toyota had polite customer service but shady and untrustworthy with repairs.

I always thought that Toyota of York was great until I found out today that January 1st they no longer would honor the free lifetime car washes. I understand that they could stop future honors of car washes to future buyers of their cars. But when purchasing both my Toyota vehicles they said that I would have a lifetime of car washes. This is not right. That was one of the pros of purchasing a vehicle from them. I can promise them that will never happen again. My business will go to a company that stands by their commitments. I went in there in late fall 2019 to look at and possibly test drive a new Tacoma. I made it clear at the onset of speaking with the salesman that I was just starting to look at midsize trucks and still wanted to look at other makes before making the purchase decision, that I likely would not be buying that day. At first he was very helpful and showed me the features on the truck and we went for a test drive. I admit I did like the truck but still wasn't ready to buy on the first visit. During the test drive my vehicle was evaluated for trade in. when I got back they wanted to show me a purchase proposal. they were offering the truck at full MSRP for a 2019 leftover and didn't want to accept less. They offered far under trade in value for my vehicle. They tried to claim that my automatic transmission was making grinding sounds and was about to fail. I have not had issues with it and still month laters after not trading the vehicle have zero issues with it. when I said we were done and I was ready to have my keys back so I could leave they tried to say they "had to find them" and continued to try to convince me that the deal was so great and I needed to buy it by changing the financing length and nothing else. I felt everyone from the time I got back from the test drive treated me with disrespect and like I was not knowledgeable about purchasing a car and at all knowing about the mechanical condition of my own related to its value. during the encounter the salesperson forgot that I had a Jeep and thought I had a Ford Fiesta to trade, those are known for a bad CVT so maybe that's why the confusion but still they seemed unprofessional and acted like a bunch of snakes.Once I left I can say for sure that I will not ever go back to that Dealership to buy a Toyota

A long winded rant. I've been going here for service for 5 years now and it's really gone down the tubes. The first 2 years they were great. Back then when I made appointments with them, they took care of you. 40 minutes, an hour tops and they were done. Now I don't see why even making an appointment matters. Now you're waiting 2-3 hours every time. And it's not different types of work I need either, it's every six months maintenance or inspections. They're the most expensive place to go for an oil change. I've noticed for the past 2 years or so, they keep trying to nickel and dime me, well trying to anyway. $70 to change my cabin air filter, the filter cost me $12, and it's OEM I bought it right there! It took me 10 minutes to replace it and I'm no mechanic. Today they were trying to get me to have them add a fuel treatment to the gas tank for $40! I can literally go buy it for $6 and put it in the gas tank myself, and on top of that the car barely has 30k miles on it! Also I want to get new tires on the car, they supposedly have this tire "special" going on right now, buy 3 tires get the fourth free, and yet it's still more expensive then for me to go to another place that has no specials at all, how does that work? Another time they told me since there was such a long wait, they were going to clean the car inside out, make it like new. They told me it usually costs $40 but it's free. I waited an extra 45 minutes to only get the car back dirtier then what it was before going there. They didn't even touch the inside of the car, all they did was run it through their car wash, and it had soap scum dried all over it. 45 minutes for that!!! The car has ongoing brake issues they're not addressing, they keep telling me it's fine, when it's not. I have a 6 year bumper to bumper warranty. I know people who had problems with other dealers that had ongoing issues with their cars, and the dealer would push it off, tell them everything is ok, then hit them up after the warranty expires. I'm planning on getting a second opinion, and then calling corporate if I have to. Only positive thing I can say is their inspections are at a good price. Cost me $42 today. I think the reason why they were great in the beginning is because they had that 2 years free maintenance special when you buy a new car from them. They treat you great in the beginning to lure you back after the 2 years is up, then try to nickle and dime you to compensate it. I have nothing against their sales. Buying the car from them was great. But after today, it's the last straw, I'm not going there anymore for service, and soon we're looking to buy a new Tacoma, I'm going elsewhere.

The experience I had here was sad and depressing. Ok here it goes. I just bought a house here and moved here from Baltimore. So I called this place looking for a specific offroad Tacoma. I spoke to a Mary on the phone, really pleasant conversation and she is the main reason I stopped in. Now here is where it gets sad. So i get there and had 2 of my kids with me. I asked for mary and she set me up with a salesmanforgot his name started with an "E". Told him I was open to colors because they didn't have any in "Cement" that I wanted. He went to the back and got a Tacoma and parked it out front and came in and asked me to check it out. I did, and upon walking up to it and opening the door I noticed it didn't have leather interior. I made a comment about that and told him that is what I wanted. After that his whole demeanor changed for the worst like it wasn't a quick sale. So with it being really hot out I gave him the benefit of the doubt and hung around a little longer. We then drove the truck with my kids to the other lot and walked around that one looking for an off road Tacoma with leather interior and found none which is fine. So we then drive back over to the main building and go inside(mind you ac was off or something). Told him I found one I liked at Hanover Toyota and explained all the details it had he then told me "well, why didn't you buy that one". Me being me I like to shop for the best deal. Before going to any dealer I know what I was trading had negative equity which I was fully aware of. So, he asked me how much I owed and told him not sure of the exact number. He then said that they can run my credit and the amount owed would be on there. So, now I'm frustrated because I've done wasted an hour and no progress plus every other place I've been to ever always asked who was the finance company they call to get a payoff, ect. Now I'm done and asked for my key back with frustration he gave it to me. I then proceeded to get my son from the bathroom and spotted a female dressed nice and she asked how I was doing. Told her everything and that they are about to loose my business. She said she doesn't want that to happen and said she will get her sales manager to come talk to me a few minutes goes by she comes back without him and said sorry for any inconvenience. So the sales manager must have not been interested in customer service. Such a sad environment. Needless to say I went to Hanover Toyota (dealt with Jeremy) and purchased the truck that I loved there and couldn't be happier with the experience they gave me, Hanover went above and beyond and has a customer for life!!!

I have never had a repair issue with any of my cars, and have only required scheduled routine maintenance. While vehicle quality and dependability is important; the deciding factor for me has always been the customer care experience. Today, a member of your service department, Mr. Steven Bond, reminded me why I have remained loyal to the brand. My tail pie was dislodged from its housing due to my geriatric parking skills. I made an appointment for an inspection and to order any necessary parts. Before I could sign in, Mr. Bond was underneath my car and in a matter of seconds, he popped the tail pipe in place. I know this may seem minor to some, but for me, his kindness and consideration was above and beyond my expectations.

From the initial contact with Desere Powell for information on the used Ram 1500 I was interested in, to the follow up emails for financing information from Mary Koller before I even was able to look at it, was superb and made it one of the easiest vehicle purchases I have ever made. My wife and I showed up about 30 minutes early for our appointment and was still able to be assisted by salesman Joe Dietz. The assistance we received was knowledgeable, professional, and left us feeling at ease and not pressured at all. Toyota of York how do I hate thee. Let me tell you of my wonderful experience this afternoon.i was informed of a recall that needed to be taken care of so I thought I would kill 2 birds with one stone and get my vehicle inspected while there. After a phone call that my truck was ready to be picked up I stopped in on my way to work figuring 15 minutes tops to get my vehicle. They promptly brought my vehicle out so I get ready to leave and notice the inspection sticker still said 2020. I went in and informed the man that the inspection sticker wasn't changed and had the paperwork proving it had been paid for. He then took my truck back to get the sticker put on . I'm reasonable and understand mistakes happen. 15 minutes later no truck no sticker loomind you I need to get to work. I reentered the service department to find a lady who says she'll see whats going on now I'm about 30 minutes into this venture. She returns to tell me I need to wait 10 or 15 minutes more even though I already waited a half an hour and it should have been done upon my arrival. Finally after 45 minutes a service tech comes out with my truck and informs me he was on break and he was sorry. Needless to say never again Toyota of York eat a bag of Richards.

Not happy yesterday about my bill for a "Free State Inspection" and Emissions testing. They charged me $7.00 for the sticker and then also charged me "Shop Supplies" as well. I asked why shop supplies charges, and they said it was for the paper floor mats. I am not in agreement that these were necessary charges.

I’ve been taking my 2015 Rav 4 in for service over the past 3 years and my son has as well with his 2016 Rav 4. A few months ago I noticed a rattling sound coming from the front driver wheel when I braked…brought in for service and they told me there was a loose bolt. (??????!!!!!!!!!)…they said they tightened it…it happened again a few months later. Brought it back in and complained to Larry the manager. He said it was a bent piece of metal and that they pounded it out; that seemed to fix the problem but doesn’t excuse the fact that it happened in the first place. Larry told me that the person that may have done the initial work was gone. Last week I brought the car in because the tire pressure light came on. They checked all tires/found no problems with tires; topped off the tire pressure to 35lbs and told me that was the problem. They then talked me into getting the wheels aligned ($142.00) The tire pressure light is now back on. I’M VERY UNHAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE AND WILL BE FINDING ANOTHER PLACE FOR CAR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR.I LEFT A VOICEMAIL FOR THE MANAGER AT THIS LOCATION COMPLAINING BUT NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM. Does your staff know how important customer service is?..A call back would have diffused my anger a bit. YOUR MECHANICS ARE SLIPPING BIG TIME AND WE’VE SPENT SO MUCH MONEY AT THIS LOCATION

In short, I would avoid this car dealership. I worked with James “Jim” Bell and I am not sure if it’s just him or the dealership's training but it’s outdated. The sale tactics are comical especially in 2021 when everyone has access to an unlimited amount of information. James really tried to use lines such as, “let me talk to my manager”, “this is the price we originally had it listed so you’re saving thousands”, “we’ll match and pay off your trade-in so you walk away with a clean slate”, and my personal favorite “if you don’t buy this car today it’s going to auction”. His manner was unprofessional and sloppy all around and did not seem to care if he sold the car or not. James offered us $700 less for our trade-in than CarMax did for cash and no trade. Hilarious! The car we were going to buy five days ago that was “going to auction if we don’t buy it” is still on their lot and now listed lower than what James offered us. Thank you CarGurus for the notification on that. I hope for the dealership's sake that all the salesmen are not like this. I hope the Regional Manager reaches out and completes some training for the ones that need it. Overall, just a really bad experience car was listed high and dropped at the dealerships “lowest”, still high. Told us our car is not worth what they’re offering us when CarMax beat the price by $700 and that trade was in cash. Told us they absolutely can not go lower, four days later CarGurus sends us a notification that the price went lower. Told us if we don’t buy the car it’s going to auction tomorrow, the car is still on the lot 5 days later. Just so many unintelligent and unnecessary lies were made in a short period of time. To be honest, I am glad they treated us the way they did because after reading service reviews here on Google it does not look good.

So now will be ready after 5:00. Offered to take the price of tire rotation off my bill $30. What about my entire day without a vehicle? Hardly think that covers it. If you're looking for a new vehicle but are hesitant because you're worried about your payment changing, give them a chance. They doing everything to ensure you're happy.

Went here last year to get a code checked, way over priced they charged me for a diagnostic which was about 50$! Then they didnt have credit card machines running and they tried to get me to photocopy my credit card before i could get my car back, so they could run it later. Which is not legal at all. So when i explained to them that they have all my info ill come back later to pay the bill they refused to release my car to me. They insisted that their driver had to drive me to the bank and get the cash which is Insulting to say the least! But wait theres more. I decided the other day that maybe it was a fluke and ill try them again. Poor choice. My car was stalling out when i was idling the other day. Thought it was the ignotion switch. Came out from work and it wouldnt start at all. Made awful sounds when you turned the key including a loud clicking noise and engine was running rich of fuel. So i have it towed to toyota of York to get a full diagnostic and see what the problem is. I get a call the next day saying its the battery and an o2 sensor. When i began to ask the guy what else he tested, alternator, throttle body, fuel injection. I got a plain no we want to fix the sensor amd it will be over 400$. They refused to look at anything else without paying them for an overpriced job. (O2 sensors usually take 20 min to replace and they quoted me for almost 2 hours of labor ). Said that my car was running fine and nothing else was wrong with it. Well, i get my car back and its running but idling extremely low almost to the point of stalling out again, and the engine continued to make the clicking noise. I drove it off the lot and within hours and less then 10 miles of driving to go get the sensors and battery my car starts shaking and breaks down on the side of the road. They said my car was fine and ran for 45 min which i hardly believe. Any mechanic who spent an hour with that car could tell that there is somethign extremely wrong woth it. But because i didnt want to pay for their way overpriced sensor they seemed to have no interest in what was actually wrong with my car. Their service reps talk to you like salesman, not mechanics. And because they had a salesmen looking at my car, its 4 days later and my cars again broken down. And im without transportation to and from work. This gross negligence and greedy customer service is a poor representation of what i thought an honest dealer is supposed to be. I sent my car to a dealer because they are supposed to be the best and know toyotas front and back, what i got was a sales call attempting to fix trivial parts in an attempt to milk whatever money they could from my vehicle. I own a reputable business in the area. And as it stands right now i have absolutely no reason to recommend anyone go there.

For anyone who may have a Toyota and/or deal with Toyota of York. Be warned of their service department. DO NOT GO THERE!!! As I will never let them touch my truck again! They are very shady people and they can not be trusted with your vehicle. They put six miles on it just to do an inspection which I could probably deal with but the tech disabled the dash cam so they could go joy riding. The last time I had it in I became a little suspicious after they did 25 miles an hour behind the building over speed bumps, and other techs edging them on to burn out, but he said " no there's a camera, a CAMERA". I trusted them the second time cause they didn't disable the dash cam while driving it. This time they disabled it to go driving around. The truck had only 654 miles on it when I took it in, it's not like they really had to do drive it a lot, it's still practically new.` I talked to the manager and they said theres no way they put six miles on it. I guess my odometer lies then, and she also said that she personally asked the tech and they said they didn't take it off the lot or disconnect the camera. Well the camera doesnt lie and the odometer doesn't either but there's nothing that she can do cause she doesn't know how the 6 miles would have got on there or how the camera got disconnected. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CAR/TRUCK!!

My husband and I went around 5:30 in the evening to look at a car they had listed on their website. Upon entering, we were not greeted by anyone to help us. After standing there for longer than one should at such an establishment, we were gestured by the salesman to walk over to his desk. As someone who works in a field where customer service is KEY, I was extremely disappointed and unimpressed with their lack of it. We actually thought we walked into the wrong place with how we were being treated. The entire visit he acted like we were a bother more than a customer. When we were negotiating a deal, we could hear him and the workers behind the desk laughing and talking very unprofessionally because we decided not to trade in our van after their trade in offer when he went over to talk to them. Needless to say, we did NOT buy a car from these people and WON'T recommend them to anyone. At a place of business where people are about to spend a decent amount of money, customer service and professionalism should be of utmost importance to them. It clearly is not at Toyota of York.

I went to this place to get a diagnosis. I told the employee that answered the phone that I think my transmission is broken because that’s other mechanics have told me, but I want to know exactly what’s the issue. He said “bring it here and will diagnose it for you, it costs you $142. After waiting for about 2 hours the guy came to me and said he does not think it’s the transmission, but something on the back of the car. I was asked to leave it there longer. Yes, they offer a courtesy ride to take me to work. After another 2 or 3 hours they called and said it’s the transmission, but they can do something that will most likely fix the problem. I agreed to it immediately because I was at work and didn’t have time to think not wanting to be on the phone with personal issues while at work. Later my husband went to get it. He paid over $270 and was told that they resetted the codes(they used the technical language) and the car should be fine. My husband drove the car out of the shop and the car was running exactly like before. I called the shop to asked them what is the diagnosis for my car since I paid for it, they told that my transmission is broken. I asked what’s wrong with my transmission and the answer was “it’s broken, it needs replaced”. I insisted that they tell me what’s broken in it and their answer was that I’m too detailed or insist too much. Even their GM said that. He was rude and condescending. If I’m paying to get a diagnosis because I think my transmission is broken, I’m not paying you to tell me what I told you, I’m paying you to clarify the problem- what about the transmission is wrong? Their GM told me that he needs to pay his people- I totally agree with that! And I’m not trying not to pay them, but if I’m paying you to tell me what’s wrong with my car then I expect that you tell me exactly what’s wrong with my transmission, because you are the specialist. The GM said that they resetted the codes and if that was to proven to not be successful then that confirms that the transmission is broken. So you sell me a service that could be a solution for a potential problem when you didn’t even determine the problem? How did you diagnose my car since you are not even sure what’s the problem? I finally found a mechanic that repaired my transmission because he was able to tell what part of the transmission was broken. Toyota York - very unprofessional! I felt like all they wanted and cared about was to get my money, no interest in meeting my needs or treat me with respect or dignity! Very disappointed! I will never recommend this place to anyone, by contrary! Update: 2 months ago, the response from the owner was that they will look into this matter(see below). They never did anything about it! As expected - they don’t care!

First of all, what's the use of scheduling an appointment? Every time my wife and I schedule an appointment, something that should take a half hour turns into an hour and a half to....get this..4 hours! I went into my scheduled appointment to replace a center console lid and it took an hour and a half! It was warranty work so I got kicked to the end of the line. Two people showed up after me and left before me. My wife just bought a car there two weeks ago, got a bolt in her tire...drove ther on a flat and they told her they were booked and couldn't get her in. They referred her to NTB! Nice! This place is a joke. Never buy a car or truck here again!

Bought a 2011 Gmc sierra there. In the 30 days following I have had nothing but problems the truck was in the shop more 80% of that 30 days, repeatedly lied too about what's going on with the truck, then finally at the breaking point with dealing with a truck that likely needs a transmission replaced as I was told by their service tech, they now cannot seem to replicate the problem but I somehow have no issue demonstrating that their is a problem. All I want is my truck fixed and not to be lied too. I was presented with trade in options but do not want the truck to be put back on the lot for someone to deal with it and do not want to add more debt to a bad situation. I will update my review if the situation changes. I do not reccomend doing business with them. There is much more to this situation that has been very frustrating and it seems the service department is severely lacking or I am being put off in effort for them to save money. The worst service you could ask for. UPDATE. To no avail from them I outsourced the job took the truck to a much more knowledgeable business and the issue with the truck was in the factory programming, uploaded the updated factory tune and the truck issues have been significantly improved.

First experience dealing with Toyota of York and I was not impressed. There is no direction as to what to do when you get there such as pulling your car into the bay area and waiting for someone to come to you. I even told them I came to York after not being impressed with Harrisburg. I had my 10,000 mile maintenance done. They did not reset my maintenance light. The person who checked me in put on the paperwork that I asked for them to not wash may car, which he never even asked me and I would have liked if my car was washed. I had an appointment for 5pm and got there early and I didn’t leave until 6:20. They moved my seat and steering wheel and did not move it back. Lastly, they did not put the sticker in my window to let me know when to bring my car back. I miss the dealership that I bought my car from. Gettel Toyota in Bradenton, FL on SR 64 is amazing!!!

A couple things you should be aware of when taking into consideration the purchase of a vehicle from Toyota of York. 1st - the free car washes. The line for the car wash is either so far backed up you could wash your car 1/2 dozen times yourself or it is broken. 2nd - the free inspections. My salesman explained that the emissions and inspection was free at Toyota of York as long as I owned the car. Well I have had the car a year so I schedule the inspections. Arrive and the service man states that the cost is $50+. Sounds a little strange when it's supposed to be free. He explains that the inspection is free with the purchase of an emissions check. Still a little strange - "how does it come to $50"? "Well it's $36 for the emissions and then the tax and stickers". Seriously? So basically you cannot utilize the free car washes and the free inspections are more expensive than if you source it yourself.

I had my car locked out, keys were in trunk mistakenly, i had my car towed to toyata dealership on advice of my insurance. But these guys in dealership over charged just for removing seats and get those keys from trunk. I was regular customer for toyata york for 4 years , more preferably toyata care plus member and usually for resolving car locked out everywhere they charge 60$ but in toyata they charged 128$. One more thing guy who handled my case Did not even tell estimated cost initially. Today I decided from today not to go toyata york even for my car service. Update: I determined that the issue was the torque converter and was an item under warranty by Toyota. It was a free of charge (to me) repair that I took to another dealership to complete. I asked Toyota of York for a partial refund as I feel their recommended services were not required, nor did they solve my problem. I was given the refund and asked to never return. The way the woman at the front desk spoke to me when she asked me to never return, leads me to believe that they are not open to feedback nor do they care enough about their customers to work on improving how they do business. Original Post: They don't actually do anything, WAY overcharge you, not upfront about potential costs, and they straight up lie about services. Took my car in to have two issues diagnosed (that were potentially related). I was not told that there would be separate diagnostic charges for both issues if I did not have any services completed, ahead of time--I was asked to just sign a paper stating that's what they would look at. The mileage in-mileage out was 1 mile difference--they didn't even drive the car to see what I was talking about. All they did was call me back and suggest a serpentine belt replacement and new tires even though all of those components would still be able to pass an inspection. The tire cost was going to be $800-$1000. How could you justify charging that much for tires? I ended up paying $350 for services that I probably did not need and I still have the same issues with my car. I literally experienced the same issues as I was pulling out of the parking lot. I left feeling that they did not even try to diagnose my problem. A 1 mile drive is not enough to diagnose the symptoms my car was exhibiting. This was my second experience with this service center. My first experience was almost a year ago, a state inspection. I was told that my rotors were bad and turning them down would result in them being out of spec so they needed to fully replace them. 20 minutes later they came back to tell me they don't have any of those rotors, but good news, they COULD turn them down!? Fishy. I was also told that these would not last much longer and I would need them replaced soon. Almost a year later, I took the car to a midas for new brakes/rotors and they would not replace them because they were in great condition. This was a place that charged per service and I was already telling them I would pay for new brakes. I've heard many other sketchy stories about this service center--trying to sell brakes and rotors in sets to customers with only one bad rotor (these aren't sold in sets, they're literally just selling you something you don't need) and many more stories of them not actually test driving the cars they're diagnosing.

What a solid experience! From the moment we arrived until the moment we drove off the lot in our new car, Big Jim and the crew at Toyota were helpful, personable, transparent and easy to deal with. At no time did we ever feel pressured to take on a vehicle that was beyond our resources or comfort zone. We came in, laid our situation on the table, and Jim and the finance department collaborated and made it happen. With my girlfriend being in the food service industry, the pay stub situation can be tricky for some dealers/lenders as income projection and records tend to fluctuate. That wasn't a problem for these pro's. We were literally test driving a vehicle for purchase within the hour we arrived, while previously, my girlfriend and I had spent hours elsewhere trying to make our (common) situation work. Gillian and I are extremely happy with the service we recieved, and are grateful for being treated with respect and consideration of our situation. As long as I’ve been old enough to buy my own vehicles it hasn’t been so much the best deal that keeps me coming back, but the service, the staff, the dealership itself, and the little perks. I’m on my 10th Toyota from your dealership and believe me, I could have gotten better deals elsewhere but I know what I’m getting with y’all. But now one of those perks I’ve been told has gone away. The free car washes have been discontinued. Might not seem like much to you but it has been a very nice perk thru the years. If I continue to see things like this changing my future Toyota purchases may be elsewhere. Please reconsider. Put up signs telling people they may have to wait in line, it’s a FREE FRICK’N car wash!! Also signage like Rutter’s has expressing you are entering at own risk. Any add on or aftermarket parts may be damaged. I hate to go elsewhere since I have built a nice rapore with many at your dealership.

When there was an issue with the title of the car I was purchasing, instead of making me wait to take my vehicle home, the sales team decided to let me take the vehicle home for the night on a dealer tag until the title arrived. When I bought my 2006 Rav4 I fell in love with the v6 engine, remote control drivers seat, supported right elbow arm rest, wonderful shifter lever. These things the Honda suv did not have. Service has been excellent and I got the car when promised unless they found more that needed to be done. Now I drop the car off the night before and when the car is finished they call me and pick me up with the shuttle. I got a great price on a 1013 Prius level 4 and it usually gets between 50 and 55 miles per gallon. I sold my 2006 Rav4 to Platts Motors in Dover. We still own our 2008 Rav4 which we brought from Toyota of York and get it serviced here.

Incompetant! I took my 2016 RAV4 Hybrid in for the 10K service. It had been running great before taking it in. When I left ad got on the interstate, the check engine light started going off and the car began to belch white smoke and stunk like burning oil. I pulled off on the next exit and called. The service manager did come out and after checking the engine, found the service tech had significantly over-filled the oil which will likely have other consequences down the road. Actually, it was also still dirty, so it's doubtful it was drained. This type of incompetence should not be tolerated from factory trained technicians. My car now struggles to get anywhere near the mileage it did before. I asked several times for documentation over 2 days and was told the internet connection was down. Hmmmm. After spending 40K on a car, you would expect better!

I took a Prius here, pre-purchase, to have it inspected before deciding whether to buy. The paperwork from Toyota of York said “customer wants it gone over completely before purchase”. It was not gone over completely, I discovered, after purchasing it. I’ve found multiple issues with the vehicle. When I called, they said I would need to pay for a diagnostic fee, for three separate issues. I went in, to office, and asked for the manager to check these issues for free since they were missed the first time, and they did. However, the issue was still not resolved. They did also refund the cost of the first “inspection”, but I was not pleased with how Toyota of York handled these concerns, and will not return.

Having just moved to PA from NC, I was required to have a state inspection. I have driven Toyota vehicles for 20+ years and have only entrusted Toyota to service my vehicle. Scheduled an appointment at Toyota of York for inspection. Was told my car would not pass inspection because the two month old Rain-X wipers squeaked a little and I would need to buy a new pair to pass. I argued that was unreasonable but having only 10 days to get vehicle inspected from time of registration and heading out of town the next day, I told them to change it. Wouldn't you know, the new blades squeaked as well. Slid my Rain-X back on. Apparently this is a common practice at an attempt to upsell. This dealer lost my trust on both the service and sales end.

Probably the most inept customer service and sales department. Saw a vehicle on carguru and submitted interest. Wasn't able to answer the first call from salesman cause you know some of us have real jobs. Called numerous times when I could and never got an answer. It was another week until I saw it was sold but I had still called. Couldn't even get a courtesy message from the dealer just carguru. 1 star because I can't submit 0.

I bought a 2020 Tundra in June of 2020. The customer service from our salesman was decent - but it quickly went down hill. The communication between sales and service is horrendous. The service department has very unprofessional customer service and have made me feel as an inconvenience each and every time. I’ve visited the service department 4 times since my purchase - the first time was only a few days after my purchase to follow up with a step missed at my purchase. From that visit on - I dread having to call service, schedule service or arrive for service. I continue to go back only to be disappointed again. Today, I called the service department because I need to purchase a tire ( I got a nail in one tire ). Every major tire website I visit tells me the tires on my truck are not compatible tires for that model. After speaking to multiple people - no one was able to answer the question of “are the tires sold on my brand new truck appropriate?” They representatives I spoke to were plain rude. This is a ridiculous complaint - but I was told I would have free car washes with every scheduled service. My first 3 services visits I was told the car wash was broken - acceptable, those things happen. The 4th visit I was told “ no car wash because .... Corona” What sense does that even make? I dread this place! Totally regret my decision on this purchase - I love my truck but despise the dealership.

Warranty Issue/Poor Service/Untrained Techs (Please Read the Full Post).....Let me start by saying we have had zero problems with this dealership other than not keeping appointments times very tight. Being in the service industry, I understand that its tough to keep those times based off an individual cars' problem. We bought our 2010 Toyota 4Runner from this dealership, not the quickest transaction but I cant complain much about that...Although the forgot to take the keys to our trade-in, they eventually got us out the door and in my wife's new(slightly used) 4Runner. (BTW, We purchased the extended warranty) Down to today's issue....My wife takes her car to the dealership for oil changes and regular "Check-Up's" Sure I can do them and do so on my Tundra. She likes taking it there and it was under warranty. On three different occasions my wife noted to me before going she was going to ask them about a sound she was hearing...and as any good husband would say "Make sure the document it so you have proof" You can probably see where this post is going....After 3 attempts to "replicate" the noise York Toyota couldn't find anything wrong. (Never asked my wife to go on the test drive to point out the noise) I drove the car for the first time in months coking home from BWI and was a bit cross with my wife. This had gone on way to far. I noticed that the car would only do it when going straight, did some research online and had came to the conclusion that it may be a wheel bearing so.....After talking to a friend of mine who has been a car mechanic for over 30yrs, he agreed that was probably the issue. I called Toyota of York this morning and asked if they could look up my car's history. Sure no problem...noted noise complaints and an issue that it seems note to shift into OD sometimes. "Could not replicate noise"....please be advised, all of these trips where while spending money on oil changes and while the car was still under warranty....and now guess what???....we have figured out the problem but the warranty has expired...I will give some credit to Curtis, who was as delicate and understanding as he could be but, he said his boss was willing to give us $100 off the repair "if that's what it is" and I told him "that's ok...we wont be coming back" If the dealership wants to make this right, Curtis has my number, don't bother posting some response like " We really Care and want to take care of this issue, please give us a call" you had your chances to make this right. The tagline to this review states my reasons why you failed and lost a good customer... Zero Stars is not an option....

I went to the parts department to get a pcv valve which is a $15 part. It is something that should be changed at tune up time. It took the counter guy 10 minutes to look it up and when he came back he tells me not in stock. This part was for a 3.0 liter V6 which was used in many models so you would think it should be in stock. I guess they don't stock it because there isn't very much profit to be made on it. I ended up ordering it online.

BEWARE!!! WORST GARAGE I'VE HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO DEAL WITH. DON'T GO HERE! I TOOK MY LEXUS HERE THEY CHARGED ME OVER $1000 AND NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM OR CHANGED ANYTHING. THEY SAID THEY COULD KEEPING GUESSING AT DIFFERENT THINGS BUT THE BILL WILL KEEP GOING UP. I COULD BARELY DRIVE IT HOME WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS STILL ON. I'M A MECHANIC BUT TOOK IT TO THEM BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO FIX IT. WHEN I GOT IT HOME I FLUSHED THE FUEL RAILS AND INJECTOR TOOK LESS THAN AN HOUR AND IT HAS NEVER GIVEN ME TROUBLE AGAIN. IF THEY CAN'T DIAGNOSE DIRTY INJECTORS I SHOULDN'T GET CHARGED OVER $1000 DOLLARS FOR THEIR MISDIAGNOSIS. I HAVE FRIENDS THAT WORKED HERE AND LATER WARNED ME. ALSO FAMILY THAT HAVE HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS COSTING THEM THOUSANDS.

I went in yesterday to look at a car, immediately I felt pressured by the sales rep. He kept repeating well to save my time and yours I think we should start right away. He made a rude comment about my boyfriend not being with me looking for a car. After I decided to leave they called me three times and texted me twice. The following day, they called me to find out why I decided not to buy the car. I was at work so I didn't answer the call, they did not leave a voicemail but then called my work immediately did not state who they were just if in was there. I did get told by my work that I can not recive personal non emergency phone calls they were very upset. They are extremely pushy!!

Good service, but despite paying for Lifetime Auto Butler for my 2015 van, they're no longer fulfilling their obligation to this service, and they offered a free exterior wash of my van, but didn't do it. (I ran my finger across the door and saw dirt.) This place is starting to be like it's predecessor Diehl Toyota. I will not be buying another Toyota!

I will never go here again. I have had several terrible experience at this place. I am glad my service agreement is up with Toyota. It has taken over 2 hours for an oil change. My windshield wipers were literally falling apart and they still passed inspection. My last experience there was the worst. We were on vacation and had my undercarriage cover fly off while going 70, which was the legal limit. The part had been replaced 7 months prior. They told us we had hit something. Trust me we would have known if had we hit something hard enough to take that piece off. We were all but accused of lying. I think they did not install it correctly and over 7 months it worked loose. The part was covered under warranty, but they would not honor this saying it was damaged. Of course the half that was attached was damaged, it was drug along the highway. The other half we never recovered, I bet it was damaged too. We were never given more of an explanation than things were "damaged".

Wow very Disappointed. The money people pay for a vehicle and cannot even get to car wash, you took that from us. There are no perks anymore buying from Toyota. Now only serviced cars can have a free car wash, not everyone needs service done but would like a clean car. Toyota step your game up. People should not have to pay to wash there car some where else when this was given to us. Why because it breaks down it happens it's a busy business for now. I think it should be like it was. Get the parts and get it fixed. We do when are car needs it.

After reading some of the bad reviews for Toyota of York, I had to add in my personal experience. I was looking for a good deal on a 2014 or 2015 toyota corolla S. There was another dealership I was also working a deal with on a 2014 model. Toyota of York had no problem matching the price. It was a small dealership, but I got the individual attention and service that I wanted. I did not feel overwhelmed or pushed into making a purchase. A few months later, I still feel comfortable with my purchase and am confident to bring the vehicle back to them for service. The car is running fabulously, I have had to call into Toyota of York a few times regarding questions about the media unit. Each time I called in, the person who assisted me was friendly, knowledgeable and was able to help. I LOVE this dealership!! Next time I need a car I will be calling Toyota of York for sure.

Hello I believe what you are doing to paying customers with the car wash is bull****. We were given free carwashes and i feel we should still get then. There are no perks anymore here. Things are gonna break, but you dont take it out on your customers that been dealing with you for awhile . no more car washes. Its not fair to us. Step it up.

My door handles keep breaking. I've had them all replaced under warranty and one was replaced twice. Clearly there's a problem with this vehicle, borderline lemon except that I've put too many miles on it due to my commute. Because of all the miles my warranty is up and I have another handle broken. After going to Toyota's national complaint people, since Toyota of York wouldn't do anything, I got them to pay for the handle but I'm still going to be charged $90 for labor. That's $90 I don't have for a product they knew would go bad. It's a faulty product, period. Mileage has nothing to do with door handles, this is a new car that shouldn't have problems like this already. I went to Toyota because I wanted a car that would hold up well until I paid it off, I was wrong and I don't think I'll buy Toyota again. I definitely will not come here again.

I found a 2003 Tacoma they were selling, so I called to get the details. It was mint, with a great one owner carfax (I bought the carfax). I had them hold the truck on a credit card. Then early one morning I jumped on the bus to Pennsylvania. Once in Pennsylvania my salesman picked me up at the bus station. The test drive was a dream. Only 41k miles on an 03. The sale went smooth as butter. But the icing on the cake. The manager has connections at a very nice hotel close by, Toyota of York helped me out. So I wouldn't have to drive home 9+ hours and sleepy. So I was able to get a good night rest. I will travel to Toyota of York to buy the rest of my cars!!! Thank you gentlemen. Sorry it took so long for me to do this review. You guys ROCK!!!

Extremely warm and helpful, he took extra steps to ensure we knew everything there was to know about our potential trade-in as well as the model we were seeking. He even assisted my wife in learning a few features on the car she purchased from your franchise years before that were never demonstrated to her. Your finance consultant was also very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. We felt like we were in good hands throughout the transaction.
