Brought my Explorer in for a problem in starting the vehicle. Brandi was my service provider. It was quickly diagnosed as a battery problem. Brandi wrote the vehicle up and it was in and out in under an hour, problem solved. Brandi was excellent, very courteous and professional.

Extremely disappointed in the service department. Brought my car in twice for a coolant leak and they told me they couldn't find an issue. My car only has 12000 km and I have had to add a gallon of coolant in the past month. I then found out that the mechanic did find an issue but didn't report it for who knows the reason. When I got my car back, there were parts which were not reinstalled correctly. When I call to get answers they just pass the buck and blame someone else. Extremely unprofessional and lack in customer service. Avoid at all costs. If I could give a zero star rate I would.

I Purchase a Lincoln from this dealership. The car had already had some minor issues that every time I brought it in they made it worse, telling me it was fix until it finally broke and had to go through my insurance company to fix it. That was just the beginning. They never fully acknowledge my extended service plan. They advertise consior service , that I only got once but still had to pick my car up. When I would tell them the issues with my car they did their best to tell me it was fine. Issues in 2 yrs New turbo in the engine, they had the nerve to say it was just lose . Sun roof replaced after finally cracking when they supposvily fix it twice. Had to go through insurance (note i was without a car for 4 days .they didnt even accept my insurance companies money .I had to pay 1800 myself first . After I received my car it had grease stains all over the headliner and interior from dirty hands . Note they never showed me the job they did I ended up having to leave after waiting for an hr. Few months go by I notice water leaking in and lots of rattling they didnt beleive me i had to show photos and made them actually exchange my car at my house as advertised from #LincolnCanada. They agreed there was a issue and a issue with the turbo. Geeze thanks for not calling me a liar. . Took a month to get the car back I was able to deal with it .they actuall gave me a loaner (only time they followed through their advertising) but had to pick the car up .when i got my car the washer fluid didnt work in the back window . Took me 4 months to get it fix as they did their best not to do it. I had to wait till covid shut down to make it in.(after all the extra I purchased when I bought the car you think they take care of it.) The service is something to be desired. I do not recommend any service they lie condescend you . When you ask for the service manager he most likely not get back to you but be little his employees which happen once while I was their. Hes a coward for lack of better words to describe him.. I've called #LincolnCanada way to many times. But between head office and the dealer their thick as thieves so good luck. I still have issues I needed service they came to pick up the car late with no exchange. I had to go to work .I ended up going to jiffy lube even though I already have pre paid services I and to spend 115 for a oil change but still have issues with my mangled #Lincoln. If I was able to cross to Detroit I would go get it serviced their. But in hindsight I shouldn't.. when the warranty is done and my packages I purchased from the dealership I have to trade this in . Definitely not a #Ford or #Lincoln. Good luck to anyone who goes to #performancefordandlincoln

I bought my car from this dealership. the sales persons are very co-operative all the time. Oil change option is really great. I buy all the tine 5 services at a time, which is really cheap. Also they give you free checkups at the time of oil change. I like this option.

Too bad I can't give 0 stars as well. These guys certify a car even if they are issues. I had a condensation issue in the headlights and it doesn't emit the light at all. but they passed the safety and sold the car to me. They also promised me that they would resolve any issue in first 35 days for free of cost but when I asked them about it, they advised me to go and buy a part from junk yard and get it replaced by a mechanic. Salesperson also told me that i should be considered lucky because he had 10 people wanting to buy the same car I got it and he was telling me all other stories but not trying to fix the issue. I also did leave couple of voicemails to the sales manager and none of them were replied and the response I got from Internet specialist from the dealership was I need to call them when they are available in office and don't expect to hear back anything from sales managers. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone if you are concerned with your safety and lives.

I have only used their Service Department and they have always been very accommodating and quick with repairs. All of my repairs have been covered under warranty and they have personally dropped off my car for me on several occasions - one time even going all the way to Belle River. Georgie was the one who helped me out and he was always really professional and helpful. I'll definitely recommend over Rose City Ford!

Stop. Stop what you're doing. Head down to Performance Ford to see Chris Ledingham and Howell Ricketts as soon as you can. Looking to buy the best truck in the industry? It'll have to be a Ford. Want honest, no BS, straightforward service? Ask for the aforementioned guys by name. I can't say enough about how smooth and transparent the process was. I've never had the luxury of dealing with people like this when buying a vehicle, EVER. I left here with everything I wanted, AND MORE. The communication/correspondence is second to none. I never felt hassled or pressured at all, these gentleman were there to serve me and they did it in spades. After contacting NUMEROUS dealerships in Ontario about the exact truck I wanted, Howell and Chris made it happen in the blink of an eye. I would never consider taking my business anywhere else. New Experience: Ford Fusion Hybrid is performing phenomeally so far. No issues other than regular maintenance. Remarkably reduced gas consumption. Brakes wear out slower than a regular IC engine car due to regenerative braking. I am having a great experience. Service department is doing an amazing job keeping the customer satisfied. My sales consultant Mo was extremely helpful and went above and beyond the regular service standards to ensure I had the car in a perfect running condition. He also called back in a week to make sure everything was still perfect. I strongly recommend the place for new vehicle purchases. If anything changes I'll be sure to update my review. Thank you ???? Previous Experience: Brought in my Ford Fusion 2011 for a recall notice. I also wanted to get a weird noise from the front end to be corrected. After facing a bad experience with Provincial Chrysler where I had bought the vehicle, this was a different and a good experience. Recall was done in a short span of time and the issue was looked into and I was sent an email detailing the activities that were performed including the cost. I think this was very professional for me to estimate what I might be looking to pay. I was called and told about the issue and how to get it fixed. I confirmed on the expenses and the issue was resolved. The best thing is it was done within a day. Yes I got to pay even for the inspection which was later discounted as I did a replacement. The service was exceptional and I did not get to wait and linger around. You go in, tell your problems, get on the shuttle to work, finish work, come back in, get your keys and move out. Excellent service through and through. I never have a lot of time on my hands so I was messaging late at night at the gym and surprised to get an answer. The person online was quite helpful considering the time! They set me up with a contact for the AM and took all my information and suggested I would expect to receive a call. By chance I was in the area the next day and stopped in for a test drive. I was directed to a gentleman by the name of Mark Renaud. Amazing guy; took beyond excellent care of me from start to finish. Very happy with my first time ever truck; the F150!

I have purchased 5 vehicles from Performance Ford. Up until my last one I have had no problems with their sales staff or service department. I took delivery of a used Lincoln a week ago last Saturday. 10 days. Some minor repairs needed to be done to the vehicle. My salesperson was supposed to call me. Nothing. Apparently their policies have changed. Once you pay for the vehicle you are forgotten. Their word is not to be trusted. I am so disappointed in Performance Ford. Things change. This is not a good one. My next vehicle will be purchased elsewhere.

NEVER EVER will I return to that god forsaken place. My daughter brought her Escape in for a "free" oil change. Obviously taking advantage of her age they said that her front brake started leaking. They deemed it unsafe to drive and for a mere $600 hundred dollars they could fix the problem. She called me and the guy showed me where the leak was on the car. Trouble was the leak was below the crack he said it was coming out of. He obviously loosened the fitting letting brake fluid out to pretend it was leaking. I could not even drive it off the lot, the car was so screwed up. No brakes at all. After arguing the point they agreed to fix the problem that their mechanic created for $250 dollars. I could not move the car and had no other choice. I believe that's what they call FRAUD ... and that's why no one should every go to them. Want a good ford dealer make a trip to Lally Ford in Leamington. Well worth the trip. They can be trusted unlike Performance.

We have been very pleased with our experience at Performance Ford. My wife was on the chat line with Tim who greeted us at the door. He introduced us to Mark Renaud who worked very hard to find a truck to meet our needs. We wanted safety features, great gas mileage and comfort. I had a recall to deal with. Called Performance Ford and they booked it right away. Dropped the vehicle off and they inspected it and the were able to make the repairs the same day. Parts in stock was unbelievable. Everyone I had contact with was excellent. When I went to pick it up, it was washed and ready. I have dealt with a lot of dealerships. These guys have their game together. Great dealership.

Horrible service. This location has only one mandate: to sell. When it comes to servicing your car, absolute ZERO commitment. If you're lucky you may be able to get an appointment in a week, no matter what the issue, urgency or not, big or small, under warranty or not. My last attempt was NOT an isolated case or a temporary situation, it simply is the way this business is being run. My car is still under warranty and for the 3rd time I had it serviced in the US. Lesson learned when it comes the time to buy my next car.

This review is for the USED car lot. I bought a used Ford Ecosport off of Jerry. First of all the oil was not changed in the car. They said that they always do that before customer takes a used car off there lot. This car had some minor body damage issues. It was suppose to be fixed prior to me taking it over. They said that they will get it fixed up the week after because they were waiting on there body shop to become available. Also they were waiting for some company to be available to buff out a few things. OK NO problem. I finally took my car to another body shop and had my front bumper fixed after waiting 3 months to get it done from Performance Ford. I would suggest customers LEAVE the car there till issues are resolved and pull the dipstick to make sure they did actually change the oil. Again this is for there used car side.

Bought a Lincoln MKZ - audio was really, really poor. Took them two years of really awful, noisy audio before they finally replaced the sub-woofer. It still sounds lousy compared to other cars I have owned in the past and Sync is really unstable. The service staff greatly depends on who you get to greet you - some are good (Pat) others are very difficult to deal with. Pat is great and I always try to park near Pat so she can help me. Also, their drivers are great guys and are always on time and very friendly as well. The Sales guy (Bill K) always does his best to go out of his way for me and has continued to help out with stuff. I bought all the options under the sun and discovered the GPS doesn't have updates and the dealership is surprisingly unaware of most of the cars features. Dealership is not great with dealing with complaints - sometimes better to talk directly to Lincoln. They are also really bad with just the minor details and there is a really lack of ownership. I was on some do not call list when I bought a car from Moe Campbell in the early 90's. I never got a survey from Lincoln about this vehicle and the dealership couldn't figure out how to have the survey sent to me or maybe they didn't want me speaking to Lincoln directly. A lot of my complaints are minor but they aren't good at addressing them - for instance, the driver seat will not stay in the position I set it. I have programmed the key and the door and read everything. If someone else drives my car, all settings are lost - period. Also, the emergency button on the key fab goes off all the time. It's beyond sensitive. It the key fab is in my pocket of my jacket it will go off at some point - on both key fabs. Not very nice for my neighbours. They don't have a fix. Which makes Lincoln not that much of a luxury car. In hindsight, I would have been better off with a Ford Edge which also has more speakers than the Lincoln. JUST To follow up to the response from the dealership. The factory audio sound idea didn't resolve - it was nice that they tried. Another Mech finally took mercy on me and listened to the audio and agreed the subwoofer needed to be replaced - second time that has happened. Made a big difference. Audio is very poor compared to most cars with a nicer audio systems like a BOSE but acceptable now in my car. The audio was really beyond bad before they finally replaced the subwoofer for the second time - very grateful for that. To hear just how unbearable the sound was - I have posted several you tube videos. Seats don't retain the original setting and I'm an expert on what the manual has to say about them and also the Key Fab still goes off at least twice a week - the emergency button is extremely sensitive - would disable that button if it were possible.

While viewing kijiji and looking for a Cadillac v series sedan i found one at Performance Ford. Being in Fort McMurray i had to get the salesman , Walid, to send me videos online and he sent me exactly what i wanted. The finance agent Moe couldnt help me enough and made the whole buying experience very easy. They worked with me every step of the way. This is what buying a car is all about. The professionalism these two men showed was outstanding. The time they took to make this deal and delivery was nothing short of amazing. I will buy from them again. Always have a great experience with performance ford.. Recently my truck broke down on the 401 late on a Friday night , I just had a tow truck drop it off in there service area and put my keys in a drop off box. I got a call the next day stating they would diagnose the problem on Monday morning. The service manager Georgei was super great , he called me and updated me with the results right away they ordered the parts and I was up and running the next morning. Great place always treated exceptionally.

Very positive experience, Performance Ford goes out of their way to ensure you and your vehicle are well looked after. Will gladly deal with them again! Amazingly, Mr. Lube botched an air filter install and Ford fixed all the problems that occurred as a result of (Mr. Lube's) screw up. Don't waste your time at other places, go straight to Ford.

You will have mixed reviews anywhere you go, that dosen't mean that this isn't a respectable and reputable dealership. I drive by the place everyday and think about stopping in, just waiting for the right time to buy. The place has the best show room and options around by far. I know people that have done business there and never heard a single bad thing.

The work is always good - no complaints about that. However, just recently, I delivered my car at the appointment time of 8:30AM. About 3PM, I was called with additional services they recommended be done. To be honest, I would have had them change the transmission fluid if they had called several hours earlier, but we had another appointment and needed the car. I never expected that an oil change would take all day! Hopefully, next time, they will communicate any problems in a more timely fashion.

We had some difficulty with all the paper work, but under the present circumstances with the virus, I can understand your situation. However, when we got the explorer home and started going through it, both myself and my wife were totally disgusted. When we raise the 3rd row of seats into there sitting position ,what was under the seats was a lot of garbage, old candies, a lot of candy wrappers along with a lot of other things. Wish I had taken a picture, But I cleaned it up instead. Who ever inspected this vehicle did not do a very good job. We are very happy with the Ford Explorer.

Waited 1.5 hours for an oil change. I told them my coolant was 1/2" below the low level and they told me not to worry, they would top it up. I was also told that they had to change my cabin filter and engine filter. When I got home and checked; nothing was done. Still dandelion seeds still in the engine filter!! I HATE BEING LIED TOO. I am an honest person. Just ask Rose City Ford!

I was impressed with the care and service at all levels. The mechanic took the time to clearly explain the issue with my car, and how he was going to fix it. It was covered by warranty, so there was no cost to me, not even diagnostic ccost. My shuttle was on time, and very efficient. The ride was comfortable and the driver was very friendly. I took advantage of the complementary clean, so my car looked shiny and new when I picked it up on the same day I dropped it off.

Once again Performance Ford failed to own up to the "under engineered" electrical system of my 2017 Ford Escape Titanium. Two battery failures under warranty and now a third battery failure Just out of warranty. They claim that I don't drive my car enough is the problem, therefore it's not their responsibility for the electrical issues with the car. I've purchased My last seven vehicles from Ford and never had these issues before, with my driving habits. I'm not alone. Many other Ford Escape owners are having the same issues. It's all over the internet. Ford has now lost all my confidence as a loyal customer, and I'll be seeking other options in the future.

I recently brought my car in for a diagnostic, originally it was going to be approx $130, but they were able to classify it as an inspection for $79, which helped me out a lot. They had answers for me by lunch time and I was able to pick up the car to do the repair myself, and save some money. Definitely recommend this dealership. Very professional. Their Covid safety measures are very smart.

When I showed up for my appointment the service person told me that they don't take paint jobs in on Wednesday with his reasoning being that they don't want the customer to be without their vehicle on a weekend for a 3-4 paint job. Okay so no big deal I drove back home and rescheduled it for the following Monday. There was clearly no communication between the scheduling team and the service staff. They didn't even apologize for the mix up and I lost an hour of my day plus gas there and back. The next Monday I dropped the truck off for what they told me would be a 3-4 day job. That job ended up taking 10 days. I didn't even get a phone call till 8 days into the job to give me an update. It turns out that the company who painted the truck broke the windshield and had to install a new one. When I got the truck back there was air leaking through the windshield (imagine your window cracked a bit) but all the time. So I brought it back and they said they would fix it. 3 days later they called and said it was fixed. Turns out ot wasn't fixed and the same issue was there. I brought it back again and they said once again they would fix it. I told them that the reason they didn't hear the noise was because the moon roof cover was closed and that deadened the sound. I asked them when it was fixed to please double check it with the moon roof cover opened, but they didn't. I had to return my truck 3 times before it was finally fixed. I lost my truck for what was supposed to be a 3-4 day paint job for over 17 days. It wasn't till the last time that they offered me a loaner car to use. I would rate this company, the service person Christian and Brian the service manager a zero. They continually compounded errors and if i were them I would be embarrassed. They don't return phone calls either as I'm still waiting to hear back from 2 voicemails I have left. My experience with Perfomance Ford was terrible and I'll be taking my business to another dealership.

My 2010 Escape had a problem during the week-end. After my mechanic had read the code he stated that the throttle body was defective & required immediate repair or the car would stall out. I later found out the throttle body was under an extended warranty. Ford customer service stated I had to bring in the vehicle to a dealer to ensure the throttle body was a Ford part with the receipt in order to get reimbursed. Four weeks later, I receive an email that says they are denying the claim because the work was not done at a dealer. Ford all around gets one star In order to post this, but would get zero for "jacking" me around and wasting my time, and has lost me as a customer; all for a $185 invoice.

Very nice experience. The assistant was very nice . They kept my car for a night and provided me with a luxury rental. They checked my car and gave me detailed report . I didn’t get it fixed from there because the cost was too high. But over all diagnostic service was superb. You get what you paid .

Although their service is "prompt" sometimes... they allowed a vehicle to leave their service department with 3-4 very severe issues that could have cost us a lot of $$ in repairs down the road.. just a few short days after we had a vehicle in for transmission alert light and oil service the vehicle started acting up again.. we attempted to contact them on a Monday 15 .. yes FIFTEEN times with no response... still almost 2 full weeks later, they haven't returned any communications. More impressive was how he and all the staff at Performance Ford treated my mother and her friend when she visited. He put a single, 75+ year-old woman at ease and into a beautiful Ford Focus. She raved about her purchase and the experience! Last car purchase, she visited many dealerships over a few weeks and although she admired the Ford product and wanted to buy, she walked away because of the salesperson at another dealership. Though the facility is clean and the staff basically friendly, the service isn't very good at Performance Ford in Windsor. If you drop off your car for any minor maintenance work, rest assured you will be without it for the entire day. If your repair or recall is more major than an oil change, don't expect your vehicle back until at least the following day. Slow service, they seem to overlook space & workers and book too many cars at once.

Oil change and tire rotation while I had it in 8:40 am appt got a call around 12:30 pm when I pick it up they said they wash the truck I didn't ask for it and they didn't ask me I just wash it and wax it two days before truck looked like new and they left it with water spots all over the truck I hope they don't do that to a new vehicle .

Went there to test drive a car didn't have a good experience. The saleman bashed a competitor car company that I happened to work for then straight out lied to me and was overly aggressive. I got service done here once and I honestly don't think they flushed the transmission. The drain plug had absolutely no marks on it from loosening it. It should be been obvious given the rust. Frustrating and less than satisfactory. This is the second time in a row I had to argue with the service advisor to ensure that my vehicle was serviced for an oil change in a reasonable amount of time. I had to change my 8:20am appointment because I was told I could wait up to an hour and a half for an oil change. It was not possible so I changed it to 12pm and dropped my vehicle off at 11am. At that time we were not told of any back ups in the garage. I get a text at 12:42pm to say that Christian would be my reference today and if I had any questions let him know. I was fully expecting that this text was to let me know my vehicle was complete. So I ask Christian what time it would be complete and he says close to 4pm because the garage is backed up. So I called to say it's unacceptable, I made an appointment at a specific time for a reason and fully excepted my car to be ready by 2pm and certainly not later than 2:30pm. Christian told me that an oil change takes an hour and a half and customers that leave their car are not priority, It is assumed that if a car is left and the customer leaves it is there for the day, another thing that performance Ford does not explain when booking and appointment. (That logic is ridiculous). Christian said he will see what he can do. 1:42pm I get a text to say my car is next and at 2:09pm I get another text saying it will be ready in 15min. That's not an hour and a half, it's just a poor excuse. Performance Ford needs to fix this and improve its communication and booking practices. You need to ask the customer or make it known how you treat drop offs. I don't want to sit around an hour and a half. I make appointments at times when it's convenient for me so I can run errands. I am not being unreasonable. I didn't expect my car to be finished by 1pm, I set aside a reasonable amount of time to run errands and pick up my car after my errands (2.5 hours) but had to argue to make this happen. I acknowledge that Christian did not make me pay for the oil change and although that gesture is appreciated, it does not ease my mind that this won't happen again. Anthony Astrologo

Too bad there isn't a Poor to Awful category. My father was going to Performance for free oil changes that were awarded to him thru another dealership because Performance was alot closer to his residence. This year while he was leaving the dealership , a mechanic was also leaving and ran into his Freestar van causing considerable damage. The dealership would not take responsibility for it so we had to go thru our own insurance to repair it. The second incident came after that when Performance called my father for a supposed recall on the torque converter to be replaced. I advised him not to do it but he is elderly and a trusting soul so he went for it. While it was in the shop they allegedly broke something and needed his van for 5 days more. When he finally got it back, he noticed a coolant leak on the floor so I put it up on jacks and looked to see where it was coming from. It appears that not only is it coming from the exact area they worked on but the mechanic damaged a good portion of the heat shield as well. I disconnected the O2 sensor briefly to get my head in there for a look closer but forgot to reconnect it ( no big deal ) After the engine was started of course the check engine light came on and I instantly reconnected it but the code has to be cleared with a scanner so he took it back to show Performance Ford the leak and to reset the code. After aprox 4 hours they called back and told us that we needed a new catalytic converter and the leak was not they're fault. This after I told them I disconnected the O2 . $3400 they wanted. These guys cannot be trusted , I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO STEER CLEAR OF THESE IDIOTS !

Always receive excellent service on my vehicles at Performance Ford. I often hear people claim that the dealerships are more expensive for servicing. Not my experience. They provide me with quotes for services I require and when I shop around and compare to other shops in the area, I usually find their price competitive. In addition, I get complimentary drop off and pick up service when I need to leave my vehicle with them; free beverages, snacks, Wifi, newspaper, when I wait for a service. The Gretzy Oil Change Package is a great deal; been using it for years. Had an incident recently where my my rear wiper was broken after it was in for an oil change; they immediately acknowledged that it must have happened during the free car wash and repaired the assembly and installed a new wiper. Having a service advisor I can trust is a big deal to me; I can't say enough about my service adviser, Sue Wright. She is very knowledgeable and I feel I can trust her. She not only advises me when I should have things done but also when things can wait. The loyalty program has also saved me money. A final note - I did not buy my last vehicle at Performance Ford, but I do go there for service.

This review was long overdue but here it is. I ordered a brand new, custom 2017 Mustang GT with the help of Mark Renaud. I had to wait about 2 months for it to arrive but it was well worth the wait. Mark is a very fun and friendly guy and he answered all my questions. Everyone else that I've met there was also very friendly. About 1 month after getting my car I noticed that I've had a scratch on my steering wheel so I went to their drive-thru and they quickly checked to see what the problem was and they ordered the necessary part for replacement and told me it might take some time until the part would arrive. But about 2 weeks later I got a call saying the part is in and to set a date. 1 week later I went in at 9 am, their shuttle service drove me to work and at noon I got a call that the car is ready and if I needed shuttle service. I was back to work with my car and everything fixed by 1:30 pm. Very happy with the service and everyone at Performance Ford. I recommend them if you're looking to buy a new car or get anything fixed quick.

Absolutely horrible experience. Took my car there and told them that my car needed a serpentine belt and I’d like to go through warranty. They said they had to do a FULL inspection on the vehicle and that I’d need to pay 150. I asked them to check on my transmission, axles and half shaft in case anything was broken. They agreed to do so. Second day I get the inspection back and all it included was the fact that my belt needed to be replaced (which I them about before the inspection) and checked my blinker fluid and signal lights. They missed a whole misfire and didn’t even bother actually inspect the car like a real dealership should. Got robbed of 150$ For absolutely no reason. I already knew about my belt and sure did know that my signals work. Worst dealership experience ever! I recommend they get new staff with a little more respect and understanding. They were absolutely rude and did NOT care about company reputation. (manager included)

The diagnostic fee was high, but I have felt that way everywhere I have went for service. My vehicle did have to spend the night at the garage, waiting for a part. This was only a minor inconvenience, more dangerous/damaging to drive it home and back the next day. Unfortunately I’ve had nothing but problems at Performance, and it seems that each time I bring my car in it comes back to me with a problem caused by them. Most recently, I brought my car in to swap the tires. Five minutes into my drive home, the ABS system disabled and I was forced to quickly pull off the expressway with no ABS. When I called the dealership, I was told they close in 5 minutes. No offer to come get me, to provide a tow, nothing. The next day, the service dept advised that they “found a broken wire near the right tire”. Interesting coincidence. Performance has lost my business after many blunders, poor customer service, and incompetent mechanical services. Save yourself the frustration and just go elsewhere.

I went to Performance Ford in June 2019 for the first time and left with mixed feelings about their performance. The pros include a sale price for synthetic oil change and brake inspection ($160). The written mechanics report was good. The sales man said that they don’t do work if it doesn’t need it, and the shuttle. The cons include a bad first impression, over selling extra work, and bad communications. I never got my recall work done and I got my brakes and plugs done elsewhere. I think that Ford recommends changing the calipers every 100,000, but if there not seized up why replace them. Might, maybe go back.

This was my first time at Performance Ford. I was visiting Windsor from Ottawa. Had issue with air bag indicators. My representative, Elaine, was great. Waiting areas were clean. I brought in our 2011 Escape for an oil change. In the automobile status report, that I received afterwards, indicated under immediate attention that the engine air filter (estimate $48.00) be replaced as well as the front tires (estimate $492) I cannot afford to purchase new tires at the moment. However, I would have appreciated being told that the air filter needed changing when I had it in for the oil change as it would have saved me another trip to have it serviced.

REASON FOR VISIT; scheduled oil change, which is done on a regular basis. NARRATIVE: A few months ago, after my last oil change and tire rotation service, I was advised by Performance Ford Service Dept. that I would probably need a brake job on my next visit, which was now. On this occasion, the service representative confirmed that information by looking at my records on his computer screen. As such, I advised him to go ahead and along with the oil change, do a brakes job if it needed it. When I picked up my car I was informed that, low and behold, my brakes were fine and that I would have to pay $45 for inspecting them. Woah! First you tell me that I'm going to need brakes then you tell me that I don't and to boot you charge me $45 for you mechanics' contradictions? How convenient. And also, it seems that the thickness of my brake pads has increased since they last checked them a few months ago, (they went from 4mm to 7mm) hmmm, magic brakes perhaps. They even asked me if I've had a brake job somewhere else since my last visit, which I didn't. But, let's get back to the oil change. The next day, as my car sat in my driveway, I noticed something large hanging under the engine, almost touching the ground. I crawled underneath and discovered that who ever had performed the oil change had forgotten to fasten one of the two bolts that attaches a big metal scoop, probably used to cool the oil pan, back to the undercarriage of my car. As I stated, this large item hung about two inches from the ground and had it caught on something while driving who knows what damage it would have caused, not to mention loosing it all together. Oh but wait, my front right tire has been experiencing a very slow leak which has caused me to put air in it every 4 weeks or so. When I brought my car in on this occasion, I forgot to mention this slow leak as it never really posed a big problem for me. When I received my car back, the "report card" which they give to you to show what work was performed on the vehicle, indicated that they checked all tires and pressure was set to manufacturer's specs. If this had been performed as stated, my "check tire pressure indicator" would not have lit up the next day as it did. I've since inflated that tire to specs and as of this writing it's still holding. I don't anticipate having to put air in for a few more weeks. I've been a long time customer of Performance Ford and have religiously maintained my vehicle by always utilizing their services and for the most part I've always been satisfied. This time, however, you've dropped the ball, big time. I hope this is not a sign of the direction that your service department is headed. Oh did I mention that when I went to pay the bill, the invoice indicated $45.19 and that she rang in $55.31 instead. This was rectified immediately when I pointed out the mistake. Bad day I guess.

When I did not here from service after 10 days...I called only to be told that my part had arrived one week earlier. I am not impressed...in addition the next available appt. for me is a month away.

I had recently done a brake inspection on my 2010 Ford Escape. I had spongy brakes and a local garage misdiagnose the problem and inform me that I need new front brakes. Next I brought my Escape to Performance Ford and my problem was properly diagnose. All the work that my car needs was explain to me in detail. Furthermore, I got detail work estimate and my adviser was very knowledgeable and friendly. Needless to say, I did not have to pay for new brakes.

Took my vehicle in due to fluid leaking from the front driver side shock absorber. Technician said there was no leak observed. However, clearly there is fluid leaking from the shock, on the back side. Had the technician actually removed the tire and checked for leaks, they would have found it. What a waste of time. About a month back I bought a used Escape Titanium from PF. It’s great. Now a senior, this is the first used car I’ve bought since I was a teen. This is my 6th Ford. Over the years I’ve also owned GM, Chrysler, VW, and Jaguar. My Fords have been the best of these. I got over 16 good years with only standard upkeep of my prior Ford, that I traded in. Sales guy Jesse Harris and finance guy Matt Brown were great, as are everyone else I dealt with at Performance (reception and service dept). I’m a bit “cranky old school” but this was no issue for PF’s patient, capable, honest “great service” folks.

I have read the reviews about the positive experiences had with Howell and am disappointed we did not get his best service as described by other reviewers. The vehicle that we built with Howell arrived completely different than what we ordered. We were encouraged to take it anyway while our correct vehicle was built, however it didn't have features we wanted. When trying to come up with a solution with Howell over the phone he was carrying on a side conversation unconcerned with our issue. I suppose this could mean business is good enough at Performance Ford that they don't need to bring in new customers or show exemplary customer service. We were really excited to build a vehicle to what we really wanted rather than previous vehicles that we have purchased out of practical need, and are now without what we thought we ordered and put a deposit down on. I guess our first attempt for a Ford will also be our last.

Performance Ford is the best Ford Dealership in the City of Windsor. During Covid my husband hit a deer on the 401. Our new car was damaged considerably. The parts for our car were on back order anywhere from 8 to 10 weeks due to covid. Performance helped us out with contacting Ford for the expedite of the parts that we needed to fix our car. Without there help I believe we would still be waiting for parts. Also, they helped us out with a rental car when our Insurance ran out and our Insurance company did not volunteer any extra help what so ever. They made sure we still had a vehicle to get around. THANK YOU PERFORMANCE FORD FOR BEING SO CONSIDERATE DURING A TOUGH TIME FOR US. WE APPRECIATE IT MORE THAN YOU KNOW!!!!!!! They did not have to step up the way they did. The service agent seemed clueless about the problem We were charged for diagnostic test and am not sure the technician was told what the problem was. Left the car for a 9:20 appointment and started calling at 1 for an update. Difficult to get the phone answered, after several rings, put on hold, transferred and then cut off. Took several calls to reach the service person who had no idea what was going on and said he'd call back - but didn't. Told to take the car and come back if the problem returned. Waited 90 mins for a shuttle pickup. Driver came after a repeat call and stated he had never been notified. Long time customer and have never had such poor service.

Guys, whatever you do, do not buy a Ford vehicle. In 2018 I purchased a 2017 Ford escape. At my first oil change, they had to replace my shocks, and I had them look into why I was getting a rotten egg smell coming from my exhaust. They "couldn't replicate the smell," and advised me to keep an eye on it. 6 months later, my check engine light comes on. We make an appointment and they find my head gasket had cracked and was leaking into my engine. All they are willing to do is fix the head gasket without looking into the engine. There's all these fluids in there that should not be in there. I asked for them to extend the warranty on the engine to solely cover any issues that should arise directly linked to the faulty head gasket. Although they admitted it was a manufacturers defect, they were only prepared to offer 2 extra years, or 50,000 extra kms warranty. When I told them that wasn't good enough, they told me tough luck. Oh Ya, did I mention that when I left my vehicle at the Ford dealership, an employee left my vehicle open and someone broke in and stole items from my vehicle? All they said, and this is coming from the gm of provincial Ford, " well all they took was money and human error happens, all we can do are good gestures." Please share this to spread awareness. I was specifically told we don't have a lemon law therefore they're not obliged. So basically, they don't stand behind their products and you're out of luck should an issue arise. I still don't have my vehicle, and the loaner they gave me (a brand new Ford fusion) had the exact same symptoms as my drive off the lot escape did. Rotten egg smell from exhaust, and putters when it starts. They are building faulty vehicles that aren't being fixed.

I feel badly for Sue Wright who has been my appointment person for years. She has now been let down too many times by the work done by the service technicians. This last time I went in because the brake light was flickering on an off intermittently on my car. The back brake boots had some fluid and so a $400 plus tax service was done. I drove home feeling that my brake pedal was soft, and only pumping the brakes firmed them up. Things were confirmed when I stopped at an uphill slope at a set of traffic lights, and in order for my car to stop rolling backwards I ended up pushing the brake pedal all the way to the floor, and then having to pump the brakes. I returned to Ford. Sue jumped up and immediately went to get the technician. He did not want to believe me and suggested that you always have to pump brakes and apply the emergency brake a few times after a brake service!!!! He was talking to a woman who 40 years ago used to do her own brakes, so no sale there. He eventually took my car away, and I waited for friends to collect me feeling 'shaken'. While waiting, the technician returned having re-flushed the brake system, and a few bubbles came out. However, mechanically minded relatives have now looked and listened to the car with me, and the rear passenger side brake shoe/pad is applying when the car goes forward and making a grinding/rubbing nasty noise. I will not be returning for any more brake work at Fords; why go back a third time for a job they could not get right the first time. It's my life, and other's on the road at stake here; shame on your Ford. Sue, thanks for being so pleasant.

I continually get an indicator light illuminating that says "Transmission not in park" or "No key detected" at random times. It does not inhibit the vehicle's performance but is an annoyance. The indicator light no longer comes up for the transmission message as Ford Service fixed the shifter during my first service call. However, the "key not detected" issue remains unresolved after 3 service appointments. The batteries in both key fabs were replaced the second appointment. Finally both fabs were replaced completely the third visit. It was quite obvious to me the 2nd visit that they had no idea how to rectify it. The indicator still lights randomly when I am in the driver's seat with my remote in hand. I have given up on any more attempts and will live with it for another year when the lease is done, at which time it will be someone else's issue as I will be choosing something other than a Ford. Two friends who have the same model year Edges as I have experienced the same issues.

Don't go here, stay away from this place, service is a joke, not to mention mechanics are all CROOKED LIARS!!! Hahaha it felt good to write that, I took my Volvo in for an oil change and tire rotation, next thing I knew, I got slapped with a hefty $600 bill and requested explanation, the answer they provided "our mechanic found a serious problem with your rear differential and it needs to be replaced ASAP and deemed unsafe and unworthy" my first instinct was, why did I bring my car for an oil change in the first place? So I took my car to another mechanic out of town that specialized in Volvo and guess what the guy said "This was a wheel bearing problem lol" So I got the car fixed at this garage without informing the Ford dealer, seeing that they were crooked enough to make up some flawed diagnosis. Oh and here is where it gets worse, they harassed me continually for at least a whole year requesting me to rebook and get the differentials fixed, it made my day whenever I tell them that my car sounded like a shot gun with that differential scraping the road lol... Anyways I hope this made your day, bottom line don't go here, you deserve respect and honesty, this place has none of that

I brought in my wife's Escape at 11:45 for my 12:00 appointment for an oil change for which I had made an appointment. The service manager told me they were running behind and asked if I was going to wait. I told him I would leave and phone me when ready. By 2:45 I thought I would phone to see if ready since I hadn't heard from anyone and perhaps this was an oversight. Who would think it would take three hours for an oil change I left a message with the department to phone me. 10 minutes later I thought I would use the online service to see how things were progressing . I left another message and the attendant online said he'd have the service department call me. Again I waited ten minutes , which would have been 20 minutes from first call. Decided I would phone again. My call was dropped three times and on forth try got to the person who was in charge of my car. He said mechanics had problems with previous cars and was very apologetic and told me the car was on the hoist. I told them I would be there in 40 minutes to pick it up and he told me it should be ready. Got to dealership at 4:10 and car was ready. During phone calls was often asked who my service attendant was. Even though he had introduced himself I think the attendants should hand customers the cards that are on their desks as perhaps this would have assisted in getting info quicker. What does it matter who the attendant is anyway? However a phone call by someone would have been appreciated to inform me of delays as I was staying close to home waiting for the call from dealership. These days I am not comfortable sitting in any waiting room. Glad I didn't stay. To say I was not satisfied today is an understatement. I could have gone to an independent oil change location without an appointment and still would have been done in an hour. Much can be learned by Performance Ford about customer service by today's experience. Roger Hills

On March 10,2020 I visited your shop to check a leak in my car tire. Vanessa Vilag: x2337 gave me March 11 appointment 7:20 AM. I got on time, waited for an hour and Vanessa told me the tire was not repairable and has to be changed. I got home and a few hours later got a call from Vanessa the car was ready. i saw Vanessa at the counter who showed me the invoice for full cost of the tire. I reminded her for the warranty and asked to see Frank Malone for warranty details. I should point out that any time I came for service I always saw Frank for update on new models and prices, lease etc. I also informed Frank that the tire was probably not repairable since I got it checked by Canadian Tire. and Frank checked Warranty as well. I also reminded Frank that the tire had problem of low pressure before my last service in November, 2019. Anyways Vanessa checked with Frank and told me that there was a nail in the tire and warranty does not cover the damage. I informed Vanessa about the fact that I got the tire low presser checked by Canadian Tire mechanic who took the tire off the car and showed me that the damage was beyond safety line and suggested me to see the Dealer. He the mechanic never mentioned there was a nail in the tire.Vanessa repeated that the cost was not covered. I never got any estimate of cost before the work was done and I was never informed of nail in the tire. I had no choice but to pay the bill and take the car,.which I did, saw Frank again and mentioned " I would never come back to the dealership " I got home phoned Frank and also left a message for Vanessa that there was no nail in the tire. Vanessa phoned back and asked me for a visit to the shop, she could show me the tire but the nail was thrown away. I though there was not going to be any solution to the this problem.

I am giving zero stars and would not recommend the service Department. They broke my truck and then told me that they were not near the part that broke. I took it to someone I trust very well and the said that it was most definitely caused by them. It also very costly, my labor was almost the same as my parts. They never answer their phones, just over all horrible service. I complained but nothing was done. We own 3 ford vehicles and they just lost all of our business. So please if you do chose to go with them just make sure you do your research first.

The Key word about this place is WAITING. Booking appointments can be a very time consuming endeavor. Appointments, even simple appointments, are booked weeks in advance. So if you don't know what your days off will be three weeks from now, you won't be able to make an appointment. They may offer rides in their courtesy van attempting to accommodate you. The problem with it is they don't drive outside the city and again you will be waiting. Over an hour. Once you are able to make an appointment, you will probably be ignored when you get there. You will be left standing in the garage waiting for someone to acknowledge your presence. There will be employees present mind you, but you will be ignored. Once your car service begins, you can expect to be waiting much longer then you anticipate. Oil changes, for instance, take at least 1.5 hours. Always reject the offer for their free car wash. You can expect to add another 45 minutes waiting for your car to be washed. Now I did give it 2 stars. Their mechanics are top grade. They really do a great job. It is all the waiting around before and after your car is serviced. Now I am not a one time customer. When I purchased my vehicle here, I also purchased a 5 year maintenance package. At the same time, I purchased extra oil changes. So I have had 33 oil changes and several other maintenance performed here over 10 years, and each and every time it is the same. Wait, wait, wait. I have finally finished my purchased oil changes, so I am free to go to other places. I would caution other people. If you are planning to purchase a Ford vehicle, my car has been great, I suggest going to another Ford dealership. It will be the same price, and their service department must be better then Performance Ford. I would also recommend if your oil change takes an excessively long time, demand another one for free. ***Update*** Following my review, Performance Ford responded publically, inviting me to contact them, so they could rectify the situation. I responded to the email 3 times over the past few weeks, and I have received no response. They are trying to give the public the impression they take reviews and complaints seriously, but they do not. It is all smoke and mirrors. Because of this new deception, I am lowering my previous 2 star rating to 1. ***Update**** After my last update I was contacted by a service representative. I'll see what they have to say. I'll keep you posted. ***Final Update*** I was reminded over the weekend about this post. I had forgotten all about it since nothing had changed. After leaving a message for me to contact them, I have several times, but no one has returned my calls. So I don't know. It's over. Time for me to move on. I will warn people about these reviews. If you notice, everyone gives 5 stars, and always comments on how timely the service is and how friendly the staff are. People may find the staff friendly, but there is no way anyone can find their service timely. To have all the reviews be 5 stars, not 3 or 4, but all 5 looks a little fishy, and if these are fake reviews, why do they always comment on how quick the service is. Could it be because word on the street is that they have slow service? I guess you'll have to decide. Check out my reviews of other dealerships. I haven't made any as I haven't purchased a new car yet, but when I do, I be sure to tell you what I think.

Terrible experience at this dealership. While trying to find my best financing options Jerry Hartford turns around and tells me he sold the vehicle. This is after telling me I had first right to the sale because they operated on a first come first serve basis. I was also informed via a video from Tim Kereliuk that they operate on customer experience and do not encourage pressure tactics from the reps at this dealership. I can tell you that I was pressured multiple times by Jerry. Such disappointing customer service. This has turned me off of Ford for the time being and my search has come to an end thanks to Jerry's customer service.

Had an appointment at 10:20am to diagnose a check engine light on, check the a/c, and an oil change. After not hearing from the advisor by 1pm, I called my dad, who brought the car in because I was at work, if he heard anything. He said no. I waited until 3pm to call the advisor. I tried 3 times, left 2 messages. Still nothing. Finally got a hold of her, upon which she tells me that she emailed me with the repair quote. It is now 4pm. I told her to do nothing else with the car, call my dad to pick him up and pay the bill. NOT HAPPY!!!!! The only reason I went to the dealer was because my regular mechanic was too busy. I'll be glad when my 5 pack of oil changes are done.

Sorry, but when I contact a dealer for a simple oil change and tire rotation, I don't need to be told that my recommended service involves a rad flush and brake flush, when the advisor hasn't looked at my mileage. I have very low kilometers on my lease vehicle so the suggestion should never have been brought up. I'm disappointed that my sticker did not get replaced on my windshield for when the next cycled oil change should be. The dealer has to also eliminate the confusion that is built into the phone system, the redirection and the response needs an overhaul, I don't have time to have to call back if my call gets dropped.

Terrible customer service, every time I have called to book an appt there has been a mistake made with my services, every time I need to speak to 8 different people because the employees there really dont care about the people coming in. the sales rep i baught a car from is a douchebag as well. The picture below is the tire they put on my car and I nearly died on the highway during rush hour as the tire blew. When i explained what happened to Jerry (The sales rep I dealt with) he turned around and texted me that he has a police officer on site who thinks im making a fradulent claim. I would never ever ever reccommed ANYONE to buy a car from these idiots nor would I ever buy from them myself.. The only nice person in these two buildings is their finance guy I dealt with, he is wonderful and has always been professional and helpful.

I am very disappointed with Performance Ford.....and Ford in general. I came in to ask for a letter of compliance to show that my Escape conforms to U.S. standards. I am giving the vehicle to my daughter who will be going to school there soon. I was shocked to learn that this letter cost $350.00......almost $400.00 with tax!!! FOR A LETTER!!!!!! This is nothing but a way to gouge a Ford customer! What a rip off!! I am not likely to by a Ford again. This was totally insulting!!!! Ford took great care of me with my recall. They were able to drive me to work while my car was worked on and they were very kind enough to also pick me up from work and drove me back to Ford. There is one thing I am most thankful and great full that they not only fixed my recall but they also went out of their way to rotate my tires due to a tire pressure sensor I had on my car, not only that but they also did a diagnostic on my check engine light. Thank you Ford for making my experience such an amazing one. I will always go back to them for my issues. Upon arrival i was offered a ride home while i waited for my oil change and my examination of something that was not working properly. I informed them it was working ok now, just do the oil change and told them i would wait for my car there. It took 2 hours to do my oil change and told me when checking in i may not be one of the first cars in, as there may be more in front of me....why make an appointment at 830 am if i have other cars in front of me? Seriously, 2 hours for an oil change is rediculous. Why not have a dedicated lane/pit for just oil changes like other dealerships do in the cit?. I moved from Toronto and it's been my first time to this location. Over the phone i got quote to replace battery $179.49 and labour $65 plus tax. I asked if any other changes and said no. When i picked my vehicle, end up paying additional $17.95 plus tax and when i asked cashier, she didn't even mention this changes so i i looked at invoice and found this. No warranty was written or been told till i asked then they just wrote without signature. Not good experience at all. Will try other location to see if they all are same here but it's only this location.

They only get one star because I can't give them zero. We bought a new F150 a few months back. They didn't have one with the trailer tow package in stock but promised to find us one, since we made it clear that towing our trailer was the #1 reason for the purchase. They finally said they'd found us one and told us the specs (assuring us it had the tow package!), so we agreed to purchase it. There were numerous issues on delivery day: (1) It had a different tonneau cover on it than we had agreed upon and paid for, so we thought it must have come with the better one and were thrilled. A few days after we had it home they called and said they had made a mistake and charged us another $400 to keep it. (2) It had no trailer hitch or wiring harness! They admitted it was their error (It had the back up camera so they had “assumed” it also had the trailer tow package.) and said we could book an appt for them to add the missing tow package. Well, we did that, and now months later we went to tow our trailer and discovered THEY HAD SPLICED IN A 7 PIN WIRING HARNESS BUT ONLY HAD 4 WIRES CONNECTED!!! No wonder our brake controller and 12 volt charging system aren't working. Now we have to purchase the proper wiring harness and, while we're at it, the OEM rear bumper socket (in order to mount the wiring harness properly, which they should've done in the first place), and fix this ourselves in a big rush before our camping trip! (3) Oh, and I almost forgot to mention....after getting it home and opening the tonneau cover right up, we noticed the new bedliner we had paid extra for was literally caked with mud. They had only washed a tiny area of it, just enough to make it appear clean when we had opened the tailgate at the dealership. There was also glue residue left all over the tailgate and the doors. They told us they would do a full cleaning when we brought it back for the missing trailer tow package, but when we brought it back they “forgot” to clean it again. We gave up and just cleaned it ourselves. I would not recommend this dealership, and will never step foot in there again...not to purchase a vehicle or for service, not even an oil change. On a side note, we have since purchased a second Ford vehicle. This time we took the short drive out to Ken Knapp Ford in Essex, where we were treated like gold and could not possibly be happier. We have found our new dealership!

My vehicle went in just under the five year powertrain warranty and required a new engine. Bought the second new F 150 around October 2014. That went decent,on May 6 I had a service appointment for some vibration noise and bad smell comming from the hvac registers when you first use the system after a long period not being used(a day or so). Now the real problem begins dropped off the truck at dealership the night before appointment.Sort out transportation to work for myself for next day ( I work approximately 40 km away from Windsor) . Next day waiting for a phone call to find out what could be causing my truck problems. Around 12 pm I called myself the service and inquired about the status of my truck,I was told the vibrations at cold start are within normal limits( I don't quite agree) the smell could be from a leak in the system and the noise was comming from a stone trapped between the exhaust and body .The service advisor also told me that they contacted the technical support at Ford and are waiting for an answer about the bad odour,also advised me that I have to pay for the stone removal.I made the mistake and asked if this is a joke about the paying for the stone removal .The advisor got rude and told me she will ask toe mechanic to put the stone back ,after that she hanged up on me. Picked up the truck and I was told I will be called with an answer about the bad odour,have to mention that I was not charged the stone removal fee ???? . Next day at noon I called again to ask whais the resolution about the smell.No one knew anything about it ,told me the advisor is not on site (gone for the week)and will get called when back. Called 1800 number at Ford trying to find out if they know anything about the resolution,told I have to talk to dealership and wait 48 hrs. Week an half passes by no call today May 15 called the service again, after 3 attempts finally got to talk to service advisor and I was told I have to take truck back for deodorant procedure and if does not work then they will change the eavaporator.Why she did not call me to tel me about this? I don't know. Requested a late apportionment to take truck in to have the deodorant stuff done. I was told 4 pm is to late for them .Asked if I can drop off the truck Friday afternoon so the can do it on Sat I was told they don't do that work on Saturday. I was offered a shuttle to get to work but shuttle service starts at 6:30 am and I will be late for work. In conclusion the dealership is not working with me in order to solve my problem. Looks I will have to pay for cab fare or find a magic way to get to work in time and not being penalized for buying a brand new Ford truck (again) I am in line for a new car for my wife this Summer, but I will think twice before I will chose this place again because of the way I was treated with this warranty issue. Very disappointed! Dorel Radoiu I appreciate the owner took the time to answer to my post,and yes I will appreciate a call from dealership showing they are really interested to have a good relation with their customers ,the only problem is I took my truck to a different dealership and hopefully tomorrow the problem will be solved. Great service and friendly staff as usual. The only disappointment was that my shuttle driver wasn’t wearing a mask. The sad thing was that he Immediately put it on when we returned to the shop. He obviously knew that he was being watched by his boss. I feel the staff needs education about what to do to keep the public safe. You are wearing a mask to keep your customers safe! I wear a mask to keep everyone around me safe! We are all in this together and if we do what is right we will get through this sooner then later . This is common consideration and the law.

We purchased a 2016 F150. There was obviously no pre-delivery inspection done as it was delivered to us dirty, missing the promised trailer tow package (which was our #1 reason for purchasing a truck), and with the wrong tonneau cover on it, which days later they tried to charge us an additional $500 for if we wanted to keep it. Aside from our terrible experience with the sales manager (which is not yet resolved, by the way), we love the truck itself.
