Worst Customer service, the manger of the used cars Albert Soufan is so rude .. i don't know how he got this position. My husband and I went their to buy a used Nissan. First, he show us some cars and then we asked to go for a test drive. so he said he is busy and send us after waiting 10 minutes with a nice guy. after the test drive we went back to see him we waited outside his office for more than 10 minutes and when he finally looked at us and let us come inside the office we asked him about the price he said it and my husband said another price.. so Albert looked at us and said in a very rude way : I am very busy and I don't have time to waist ???? If he is in a not mood or having a bad day he can simply stay home or do what ever, but coming to work with this attitude is not accepted at all. we are not coming back to that place ..... and i don't recommend anyone to go there.

I will start off with an apology; this will be quite a long review so buckle up. First I’ll start with saying scheduling the appointment was great, no phone waiting, people knew exactly what was going on and were quite personable. Getting to the dealership was fine, simple enough to understand. Service advisor was fine as well, I think they did a good job. Where things start to go off the rails a little bit is that once in the dealership, the people were not the friendliest, seemed almost a little hostile, no one really said hello other than the service manager who was fine. The flooring in the refreshment area is definitely a choice as there is no flooring there, it’s fine, probably just being renovated (I hope). The washrooms have a sign that say they’re cleaned once a day at 9pm which is definitely a choice given the current world circumstances. It does say, however that the customers should let them know if there’s issues which would be fine except they seem to relieve themselves of any responsibility as if they wouldn’t check otherwise (again I hope they’re checking their washrooms periodically without a customer asking them to). The reminder to wash your hands was nice except they forgot French and then wrote it in with pen (not really an issue but just found it to be funny that they had at least 5 other languages and forgot French). Outside the dealership was interesting as well. Many of their cars had spiderwebs on them which is understandable if they’re old/used/brand new in plastic still but these are display cars that have spiderwebs on them. This includes their Lexus at the very front facing the main road which is riddled with spiderwebs as well. After the service on my vehicle was complete, it took about an hour for a representative to come get me. Fine, out to lunch, no worries. The receipt and report given at the end of the service had all of the services performed but did not have an inspection report highlighting tire depth, brake wear, wipers, lights, anything standard that any reasonable dealership would give you. In addition, the dash cam was unplugged and not plugged in again. This is a new one I’ve never experienced at any other dealership which makes me wonder what exactly they were doing that would require them to not have record of it. The plastics they install to keep oils and germs off of the steering wheel, seat and gear selector were installed and the only reason I know that is that they were not fully removed causing me to have to touch that stuff anyway. Doesn’t make sense. Anyway, I feel like I’ve gone on long enough, there were a few more things but probably no one from the dealership will read this or care or maybe it’ll make it to the “marketing team” or James from Lexus like for all of the other poor reviews. I’ll probably never go here again, I think I would rather drive out to London or Sarnia in the middle of winter next time.

I bought a Toyota Camry 2020 three weeks ago, they asked me about a extended warranty on phone but l didn’t understand it good before l sign the contract l asked them to cancel this extended warranty because it is added to my loan and l have to pay for it for 7 years and l don’t want this extra warranty for my Toyota but they told me it’s not possible, next they l emailed and talked to them to cancel this warranty but unfortunately told me it’s not possible. As l read more l understand usually you can cancel an extended warranty at any time and you'll get a prorated refund for the unused portion of your policy. If the warranty was included in your loan, your car payment won't drop, but you may pay off the car sooner after the refund is deducted from your balance. On the other side the name of this extended warranty is Tricor or Tricare that doesn’t have any reviews and if you check their website it doesn’t have any phone or right address. It’s an unknown company. It was a really bad experience for me to buy my new vehicle and l strongly recommend do not sign the contract with extended warranty or extra repair service. They aren’t responsible any more and it’s so inconvenience that you couldn’t get any help after you purchase your new car. But to be fair Louie Lisi was a great and so friendly person. He gave me all car information exactly and even called me later for my problem about extended warranty. I want to say special thanks to him to help me to buy my first beautiful car in Canada l will come back to him for my next purchase for sure.

I took my car for service and i was not happy with what they did. They used to print summary report about what they have done. However lately, Toyota service stop giving the recommended service which the vehicle needed for the next oil change. Also they stop top off all fluid for free. They used to top all fluid for free all the time but lately they stop. I will never take my car for oil change at Toyota Windsor. To be fare the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Stay away from this dealership went there to buy a Lexus I saw 2 of them talked to the guy he told me no accident for both cars started looking around both cars had been in an accident he pretended to be surprised I just walked away and I would never go back to this place very very expensive compared to London and Ontario same car over $6000 more than other dealerships in Ontario it was Summer time when I went there to buy a car now it's November and I took my Toyota Camry to this place because my abs light was on brake light on they kept the car for almost 3 hours and they had no idea what's wrong with the car they told me to leave the car all day I said no because they charge around $130 for hour paid $149 and left came home went on line to do some research my self I decided it was the Abs control module so I ordered one from Ebay changed the Abs module control problem fixed what can I say about this place.

Great experience with Lou at Eastway Toyota! This is our second vehicle from the dealership, and Lou was candid about the pros and cons of minivans vs SUVs vs a second vehicle for our growing family. We settled eventually on a Toyota Sienna LE - great vehicle value for the money. James gave us what we felt was good value for our trade in, Christina in finance gave us a great deal on additional coverage, and the vehicle has so far been great to drive and use. Thanks again to Lou and everybody at Eastway. UDATE: Brought in my vehicle yesterday (June 2019) for its scheduled maintenance. Jacob T (service advisor) did a great job looking after me, and the van was nicely washed for me too! Very happy with service.

This place does not even deserve one star. I have had nothing but problems with them since bringing my car there after it was hit by an 18 wheeler. I've had to bring my car here 3 times to have it repaired properly since each time I got it back, there were still problems. The last time I brought it there, they told me that I caused the damages to my car even though I just purchased my car and the next day it was hit outside of my house by the 18 wheeler while it was parked. They also called my insurance company and told them that I caused the damages and now I am forced to pay for my rental and they also won't fix what needs to be done. They tied my skid plate to my car with zip ties and it fell off while I was on the expressway and now it is damaged and they won't replace it for me or fix it or admit that they installed it like that. They left garbage in my car every time I brought it there and the first time I brought it there, they left a piece of my car in the backseat and gave me back my car with the gas light on even though I brought it to them with almost a full tank of gas. On top of this, I contacted the BBB and Eastway Toyota's response was that I was never a customer there.

As someone who is very picky when it comes to how my vehicle is handled in service, I was hesitant bringing my FR-S to Eastway. However Heather and the team assured it was in good hands, and would be treated with care from start to finish. Not only was the work completed without a hiccup, the interior/dash (which had to be pulled apart) was reinstalled without any issues whatsoever. I’m thoroughly impressed, and would definitely recommend Eastway if you’ve been hesitant.

Finally decided it was time to trade in the putter-mobile for something a little heartier. Left my contact info online to book a test drive and David returned my request within the hour. I arrived an hour early, however this did not deter him from greeting me warmly and showing me the car I was interested in (even though he was in the middle of other work). It felt like I was talking cars with a friend and not buying a car from a salesman. I am EXTREMELY happy with my selection due in no small part to the reception and follow-through I experienced, as other options were reviewed and prior to purchasing I was given time to think about how I truly felt about the car rather than rushing right in and committing. My previous car was an 08 Yaris with no substantial troubles to speak of. Very satisfied with my overall experience and will undoubtably be a return customer when the time comes.

Honestly, just avoid this place. Sure they're great at sales, and pushing you to buy things, but the service and parts department is a whole different story. They put no pride into their work, they cause more damage than good, and they should not be anywhere near your car if you want to remain satisfied. The service desk argues back on mistakes they make without owning up to them, try to state their opinions as fact, and overall just provide some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. My truck has been in for service twice - both times for a recall, both times they messed up more than they did good. This time - however, a poorer job than the last. They took apart the dash and did what they needed to do to program the airbag sensor, however, in doing so, scratched up the panels, didn't close them out properly, and put so much pressure on a wire that it ripped open. This wire was running live power to a USB outlet, it could've caused the car to burn down! Finally, when all is said and done, they don't even calibrate the cars sensors after all the work, and blame it on aftermarket parts. There is literally a technical service bulletin from Toyota outlining the issue yet they choose to feign ignorance and blame it on other things (not once, but twice.) You can see the poor work, they don't even tuck the wires away properly after working in the car. The panels are off position (a little hard to see) and the live wire I found when the USB wasn't working anymore. Tl;Dr, I avoid this place like the plague unless there is a recall. Without any expectations, I still walk away disappointed. Sucks its the only Toyota in Windsor.

The constant arguments, hassle and pressure from the Service department were the major contributors to selling my Venza after only two years, just to avoid having to deal again with Toyota Service Department and their Windsor dealership. • Unreasonably long waiting time to schedule even routine maintenance. If you don’t have an appointment, don’t even bother trying. • No parts are ever carried in stock. A second or third visit is inevitably needed in order to have even a $50 part replaced. • Constant pressure to buy expensive services, otherwise not covered by the warranty, that are often neither needed nor required by Toyota. • The ambiguously written service manuals seem to always be open to interpretations. While Toyota recommends 16,000 Km between oil changes, the window sticker always indicates 8000 Km interval. • Diagnostic fees of $125 per claim are often charged even WITHIN the manufacturer’s warranty (for various bogus reasons). • Reported problems, some easy to reproduce, are often not admitted based on convenient interpretation of partial vs. total failure. • With Venza being discontinued in 2015 (2016 in Canada), Toyota just stopped supporting the model altogether: parts are scarcely available and no software / mapping updates were ever offered. • Rodents are apparently attracted to Toyota’s electric wires and harnesses as Toyota coats them with a soy based compound. At first, I thought this to be ridiculous, but it proved to be a legitimate concern - whether you have that problem, or not. Toyota's is well aware of the problem, which otherwise they themselves created, but they’d rather have you pay for their own mess. Consequently, as soon as the service manager hears the word “wire” he will be very quick to mention that whatever problem they may find, it's unlikely to be covered by the warranty and you’ll be asked to pay $125 upfront diagnostic fee + repair charges. Also, in the process of selling the car I’ve learned that Toyota vehicles allegedly holding up their value over time, was nothing but smoking mirrors. My Venza devalued almost 50% after 2 years and 51,000 Km – go figure!!! On the positive side, within the 2 years of ownership I've covered 51,000 trouble-free Kilometers and the Venza proved to be reliable, very comfortable and on par for fuel efficiency with other similar vehicles. I would caution about falling for their marketing hype, though. Just like any other vehicles, Toyotas are being made be moving parts (allegedly manufactured & assembled under a more rigorous quality control) exposed to continuous wear-and-tear and even when properly maintained they eventually break. That's normal, even expected, however Toyota seems to have been maintaining such a clean reputation not only through strict quality control standards but also through shrewdly designed corporate policies which prevent and hinder dealers from logging and reporting "minor" problems in order to boost false statistics and create unfair marketing advantages. At the dealership level these policies may translate into reported problems being either minimized or never admitted. 4 stars for the vehicle itself (5 for reliability, 3 for outdated electronics), 0 stars for the service department.

If you're looking for a great car buying experience, choose Eastway. I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Eastway Toyota from 3 hours away as I was looking for a specific model that they happened to have. From start to finish, the sales team couldn't have been any better. Having never purchased a vehicle solely online before, Najiib did an amazing job in reassuring me that I would be happy with my choice. I bought a new 2018 4Runner from East Way Toyota back in August of 2018. The rep was Afran, till this day he still keeps in touch with me asking how I am liking the car and makes sure I get a nice car was every time I come in for a service. He also helped me set up an appointment to install a deflector. I had my first service appointment yesterday and met Heather who did an amazing job explaining things to me, especially about the maintenance schedule for my new car. Unfortunately that was not explained well to me at the time of purchase. I would recommend you guys do a better job giving your customers something on paper to follow before we leave the dealership. I am not a car person I have no idea when things must be changed even oil, tire rotation, refill fluids, etc. Luckily, Heather was very knowledgeable, kind, patient and explained everything to me including information about my ECP warranty. She was not in a rush to just get me out of there but took the time to answer all my questions. Looking forward to my next service appointment (and free car wash of course!).

Great place if you want to be talked down to & not taken serious. Went in looking to buy a car & the sales consultant treated me so poorly. Went for a test drive & he insisted he came (which has never happened before but I understood). I seen advertisements saying discounts for healthcare workers when I asked about discounts he was rude saying its for services & just because i "work at a hospital or whatever dosent give me a discount on a car" in such a rude tone. I then asked about student discounts or a family discount since my mom works at a toyota plant which he wouldnt tell me. I wish things were advertised online because I dont know as this is my first purchase. When I asked for the final price of the car he told me to go look on the toyota website. I insited I did already but I wanted to know price, tax, & dealership fees included. He printed a paper with this info but did not show me. I asked if I could see it or take it home to which he replied "your monthly payments will be _____, you cant take this home it is confidential. When he asked about a down payment he asked by saying "what are you going to put down? Like $500?" In such a disrespectful tone. I loved the car I test drove but I have never been treated so poorly before & will not be going back here. Such a bad experience for anyone let alone someone purchasing their first car. **** Sierra was very nice, friendly & made me feel comfortable both prior to me arriving while talking on the phone & when I got there.

We had an overall good experience at Eastway Toyota. By far the best part was working with Doaa our sales representative. She called me immediately when a used car came in that met my specific list of requirements and we got in to see the car as soon as we could. Serious hassle-free car buying!! Through no fault of her own, the odometer listing in the computer was off by over 1k kilometres so we were a bit surprised by that but Doaa negotiated a discount to account for the discrepancy. We've had the car for almost a month now and it is running great. Would definitely buy again. Only reason I didn't give five stars was the initial misrepresentation of the odometer reading which seems like it was a problem with whoever was in charge of initial intake.

I Recently visited them for my car’s maintenance. Extremely professional and top notch service. I’ve always avoided dealerships because “they charge you unnecessarily and recommend you stuff you don’t need.” My experience however was different. Better price than CanadianTire and the staff told me what exactly I needed changed. For two other things that I didn’t change, they told me it has plenty of life left. It’ll last you till next service. I went in expecting to change the brake pads, asked them about it, they checked and told me it just needs service. I absolutely loved the shuttle service. While I go to CT and it’ll take them few hours to get through my service and I’ll be stuck there. Better seating at waiting area too.

Their service and parts department is very incompetent and hard to work with. First the parts department orders a wrong replacement key for my Prius for $400+. Second the service department fails to program it (since it was the wrong key) and wanted to charge me $200+ an hour to run diagnostic. After doing 10 minutes of research I found out that key was wrong....and asked for a refund. The parts departments gives me BS about how they do not give out refunds. I finally manage to get a refund after 5 minutes of arguments and mention of hiring a lawyer. We had been searching for a specific vehicle for a couple of months and couldn’t seem to find any suitable candidates anywhere within an hours drive of our place in Port Dover. A vehicle was listed at Eastway Toyota in Windsor that looked great, but do we make a 3.5 hour drive to check it out? Basically we’d be doing a 7 hour round trip plus the time spent at the dealership at a very busy time of year. I enquired online with their social media specialist Sierra and she answered all of my obvious concerns and then spoke with their Salesman David who was also very helpful. He even cheerfully returned my texts on a Sunday, his day off, because we were hoping to come on the Monday. We did end up buying and thought the process went extremely well. The sales manager James took the time to come over and thank us and tell us how much he appreciated us coming such a distance to shop at his dealership. The icing on the cake was when our salesman Najib informed us he was heading up north on vacation Friday and offered to deliver our car to Port Dover. It was at least an hour out of his way for him and his friends but he insisted it was no problem. Sure enough come Friday there was our new car delivered right to our home. That saved us another 7 hour round trip. What amazing customer service, from an excellent car dealership.

On Dec 27-2019 I left my Toyota car for oil change and replacement of water reservoir and update transmission software were sucessfully done. I left my car in good condition only few minor scratch. They gave me the car back with crack bumper as per pictures. They denied they broke it. it a brand new car it surprising experience. (( Already Contacted General Manager, Service manager, Service advisor, Receptionist and mechanic)) and some employee agreed that there service is worst... Warning to all that's looking on purchasing a vehicle!!!! My family purchased a brand new 2016 Tayota last summer and all we had is problems from the drive front seat making noises to the back trunk plastic panels changing colour from the sun. It took them 6 times to finally replace the whole front seat wasted my time and was out of a vehicle for a few days. Now i went in almost 3 weeks ago to get the rear trunk panels fixed and was told that they'll get back to me with an answer after they have contacted Toyota. Till this day I have no received a call back from Melanie Teskey Service Manager. I've call numerous times left a voice and left a message with the secretary to get back to me but still no answer!!! My recommendation is if you don't want to be TREATED like GARBAGE and pay a lot of money for a vehicle, DON'T waste your time with stupid idiots at this Toyota Windsor dealership. They are truly screwing up Toyota's reputation!!!! I will be filling a complaint with OMVIC about this.

I've had a very good experience with buying my vehicle from Eastway Toyota and will be going there to do my vehicle maintenance for a while (2019 rav4 bought in 2019). I already knew what vehicle I wanted to buy before I walked into the building so the only thing to do was sort out the paperwork. The buying process was done professionally and pretty effortless in getting all the work done for me to buy the vehicle. I've been going there for oil changes and other services as needed and they've been great with their courtesy shuttle service which is a real plus. With toyota quality I'm expecting to keep this vehicle for many years :)

Although my next vehicle will be another Toyota Tacoma I am not purchasing it at this dealership. I had an issue with my spare tire carrier, a recall which i was never informed of, and It took me an hour phone conversation to convince them to let me bring my truck in. I waited at the dealership during the whole FOUR hour inspection, since i did not have a ride home, after which they confirmed what I had told them and proceeded to tell me that all my fluids were low, my oil needed changing and about $500 worth of maintenance needed to be done. I keep my truck in tip top shape- fluids are always topped up and my oil, oil filter, and air filter had been replaced two weeks before. Apparently they needed to order the part for the spare tire carrier, a process which takes two weeks....... When I finally got the part on the truck and left that driveway I vowed never to deal with Eastway Toyota again or any Rafih auto group dealerships for that matter. Primarily I dealt with Sarah Campeau and Jeff Tales, both of whom were cold, unaccommodating, and all around unpleasant to work with.

The last poster is correct....after relocating to the great Windsor area we have had nothing unprofessional service from this dealership for our service on our Toyota vehicle......they continually try to up sell for things that do not need replacing, they dont even check if it requires they just insist it needs to be done. Getting an oil change is like going to the dentist, it should be a very short and quick appointment but it rarely is They constantly give us issue with our free oil changes which we paid for with a premium package when buying our vehicle.....the last oil change they outright made us pay and claimed our plan was expired when it was not.....when dealing with the service manager she never apologized for this continual issue. We lived in the area 15 years ago and this was not what Eastway Toyota was like but it is now owned by someone else. We will not be using this dealership ever again and will drive a distance for Toyota service. Shame on Toyota Canada.

Inquired the cost to replace O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 they were only able to tell me the price of the part. Ask what the hourly shop labour rate is, told it's about $125. I then asked if they know the exact labor rate per hour was told no, so I guess the hourly rate is whatever they feel? I do not understand how this place is in business.

I have always been leery of personnel working in used car departments and unfortunately this dealership seems to fall in-line with the stereotype. When visiting them to trade a vehicle, I was offered several thousand less by them compared to two other dealers in the region. Their low-ball reasoning was bogus and insulting. I went with another Toyota dealership and received a much better offer. Be leery when considering Eastway Toyota for a trade.

Our vehicle was stolen a while back, but was recovered with a small amount of body damage. The insurance company agreed to pay for a safety inspection and repair the damage, so we decided to go to the dealership. We also needed a safety inspection in order to get Ontario plates. We were charged again for a safety inspection, and an emissions test. The dealer then informed us that the vehicle would need $3800 in repairs in order to pass inspection. Since the vehicle is a 2003, the repairs were more than the vehicle was worth. Three weeks later, and after consulting with the insurance company, we decided to take the vehicle to one of their preferred service centres. When we picked up the vehicle it was soaked on the inside due to someone having left the window open. When the vehicle was assessed at the preferred auto centre they told us that the vehicle needed windshield wipers to pass inspection. They felt so bad for us that they did it for free.

They are unprofessional and lack any integrity. We have since traded in both our newer Toyota's, and have switched Brands. We had a terrible experience. We did not like the tone in the service advisor's voice when my mom asked why the driver was late. She raised her voice back to my mom. The shuttle driver asked my dad what time he needed the car because he had to go to work and was an hour and a half late and got lost on the way to our house and never apologized. This is the second time they were almost two hours late to pick him up. They had the nerve to suggest we make a waiting apointment to guarantee we get our car on time (like we have 4 hours to waste since it took that long). We talked to the manager and she never apologized either. Terrible service, never even acknowledged we were upset or asked how they could improve. They probably won't even ask us a survey on how they did to skew their service. Should be 0 stars if it could.

The worst experience I’ve ever had!!! Will definitely not recommend anyone going to Toyota Windsor. I was dealing with the sales manager where I wanted to buy a 7 passengers vehicle. He gave me a set price and I was coming to sign the paper work and finish the documentations but suddenly he increased the price within 3 days and they didn’t give me a reason of why they changed after they gave me a word. My appointment was on Tuesday and when I called in the morning to come in and sign the paperwork, they informed me that the sales manager is off and when I came in he was there but still transferred me over to a salesman. FYI the listing on the internet is still the same price and wasn’t increased as they said. That’s not PROFESSIONAL at all!!! He wasted my time and efforts and will never come back to Toyota Windsor ever again!!! Toyota has the full responsibility of what their employees actions are. I am a businessman and I know how unprofessional it is to treat the customer like this.

I would like to give recognition to Mark from service. I needed help to replace an OEM remote start keyfob that i lost, which was discontinued and not much info was available on it. Mark was very diligent at researching and contacting the right people to find info about my system. I had been given a keyfob by a relative and Mark was kind enough to try and get that fob working by programming it to my system. Recently I was helping a friend of mine purchase a new Toyota product from this dealership. Despite being a repeat buyer from this dealership, my friend was subjected to about 90 minutes of back & forth negotiations between his sales rep & the GM James. The end result was a stalemate because the GM was unwilling to compromise to make the deal happen. My friend was lowballed on what his trade in was worth (he was trading in a 3 yr old Toyota product with low kilometres & in extra clean condition)! Literally all the service dept had to do was to do a safety inspection to certify it & do a quick car wash and they could put it on their used car lot. We then called two other out of town Ontario Toyota dealerships to get their best price. We then called Windsor Toyota back and James the GM agreed to match the lowest out of town quote so my friend was finally able to make the deal with Windsor Toyota! Question here is why does upper management treat a repeat customer so poorly when he is more than willing to give his business to them in purchasing a new Toyota product. I hope that the GM James and the owner Mr. Rafi put the customer first and foremost & quit focusing on sales volume and maximizing dealer profit on each and every new & used vehicle sold by Windsor Toyota! This is indeed a sad state of affairs for Windsor Toyota & they really need to smarten up & place the customer first!

My toyota has a recall faulty airbag. The recall paper informs me that I shouldn't even have a passenger in the front seat....this is how unsafe it is. I called to have my recall done and was informed it will take 4-5 hours. I explained to them that I work 1 hour away in the county. They can not provide me with a ride, I asked if I could have a car for the day, they could not provide this service. I travel with my vehicle through out the day so I explained to them I needed a car. They offered me a Saturday which I understand for most this could work however it doesn't work for me kids to run after for sports. They suggested I took a day off work to get the recall done. I called three other dealership. Chatham London and Mississauga. ALL 3 were offering car loaners for this kind of recall. Horrible customer service will never bring my car there for anything. Will drive an extra 45 minutes out of my way to be serviced in Chatham!!

Dishonest dealership. I made the mistake of purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership. When I got home, the vehicle had water condensing inside of the headlight. I contacted the dealership and was told that that was an issue that was not theirs to deal with as it left the dealership "fine". This type of a problem is something that is not detected until the light has been on and the chance that condensation can form. My second issue is the complete lack of disclosure of the vehicle accident history. At no point was I told the vehicle was in both a front and back end collision. Oddly enough, when I brought it into another Toyota dealership they were able to determine that the front bumper was new simply by feeling the difference in the paint job between the bumper and the passenger quarter panel! This literally took 5 seconds for the individual to determine the accident nature that this vehicle was in. Third, the inside of the vehicle was disgusting. When they say a vehicle is "clean" I received a car that had brown fingerprints in the controls where the sunroof are. The trunk had mud stains. When I brought it into another place for cleaning they were surprised as to this being a "dealer prepped" vehicle and found a number of golf items (an exacto knife, a putter head, a device for cleaning shoes) that were left in the vehicle. The key FOB had debris and animal hair when my wife took it apart. Do not make the mistake I did by purchasing a vehicle here. Upon a discussion to return the vehicle, the dealership had the nerve to tell me to pay for the headlight as part of the "deal". Have a look at my profile photo and you can see the headlight with water forming inside of it.

Sierra went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and that all my concerns and questions were addressed. Afran explained everything to me in great detail and was extremely patient and honest from start to finish. Two very valuable employees who greet you with grace. I'll start by saying that this is my second vehicle from Eastway Toyota and have always been satisfied with the its performance. Most of us customers tend to be very pleased with services until that one time where something doesn't go our way and that is it we quickly sever the ties. It's understandable that we want the best service for our money, but it also doesn't hurt to remember that we are humans and often make mistakes. So, I dropped my car off to be serviced at around 10:30am and was told it'll be done in 4hours. So by 2:30 or 3:00 o'clock I expected a call so I could pick up my car. I was picked up by the shuttle and brought to the dealership by 6:00pm. May I add, the problem was still not completely fixed. An additional part was required and had to be ordered. I know you'd think that's horrible and I won't deny that I was disappointed considering that I always received good service. I did call the service manager, Mark, and expressed my disappointment in which he responded professionally and took all measures to mend the situation. I was called the following day by Heather, from the service department where she arranged for me to come that same day to install the part. The part that caused the initial problem was damaged due to an accident in which a woman had struck my rear tire. The part was poorly fixed, instead of being replaced, by a collision shop. My warranty at Toyota wouldn't have covered it. However, Mark the service manager came out to the waiting area and explained what had happened and told me that due to what happened the previous day, the wait, they'll cover the cost. The car was fixed in an hour and upon leaving the shop, I find my car has been washed and to my surprise I found a complimentary emergency light on my passenger seat. Fellow customers, yes things go wrong and people make mistakes, but I do take into consideration that the best service comes in how people recover from their mistakes and how they handle themselves. To that I say thank you Heather (customer service), Mark (service manager) and Scott who apparently worked on my car for your professionalism, and courteous service. I believe in giving people chances because I know I would want one myself.

i would recommend not to go to this dealership, my brother and his wife went to purchase a car and were treated horribly. almost like second class citizens. they didnt take them serious, or answer any of their questions, the guy seemed like he had better things to do than sell cars, and even talked down to them even though they had everything in line, in order to make a puchase . the guy didnt answer their questions and was also very rude. buying your 1st car should be a delightful experience. far from what was privided here at eastway toyota. im not sure if it was just the employee having a bad day, or if thats just the managements way of doing things. customers should be treated with respect, and taken seriously regardless of age!

The sales staff were pleasant and the building was very clean. The issue I had was when I wanted to test drive a Tacoma the salesman insisted that he came with me. Not to give my resume but I have drove for several years in the military and have driven commercially tractor trailer for almost 20 years with over 2 million safe miles and awards for my driving. I am a grown adult not a kid that is going to hotrod some vehicles. I am also in a very good position to purchase. The salesman was not willing to budge on me and my wife taking this truck for a test drive on our own so for that reason there was not a sale. At the end of the day I am the only one with my money and eastway Toyota is not the place selling pickup trucks. I have been to several dealerships and none of them took that kind of hard line that cost them a sale. I was not disrespectful and shook the mans hand. After all he said this was not his doing but a policy of the dealership and was very nice to me and my wife. Too bad something could not have been worked out, perhaps another dealership will be more interested in a sale. Update... 3 weeks later I purchased a loaded X31 offroad edition GMC Sierra from reaume GMC in LaSalle and they let me take it on a test drive all by myself. Too bad Eastway you lost a $60,000 sale. I hope it was worth it.????????????????

I leased my new 2011 Camry from Steve at Eastway Toyota in Windsor. There were minor issues after lease but all were well taken care of.. Unfortunately , by the end of my lease, I went way over on mileage by thousands of kilometers. I would have re-leased but the Camry is such a good car I could not walk away from it. The reliability is astonishing and the mileage on such a large car is amazing. On a down note the original Michelin Tires were very poor performers losing two tread belts mid lease, I replaced with Pirellis with much better quality as a matter of preference. I personally waffled on the decision to purchase new as my lease ended this year and Steve did a great job trying to put several attractive deals together considering the overage I had...I felt like they were making me some really great offers because I was their customer. In the end I purchased the leased Camry, it is a great value. I would like to single out Steve Moretto of the Toyota Service Department for his Exceptional Professionalism. His congenial attitude along with his knowledge base, as far as I am concerned, is the epitome of what customer service should be. I had to have a water pump replaced on our Toyota Venza. He was very sympathetic when quoting the (expensive) repair cost. When he found out that we had extended coverage, he seemed almost as relieved as we were. Steve explained and handled everything including the rental. Our vehicle was done earlier than promised along with being washed. Terrible experience. I was there purchasing a used 2014 Highlander at their store, the carfax indicated a moderate damage without a specific amount of damages cost. When I asked their sales person Meixia Song about the car accident, she told us not to worry because she was so sure it was only some scratch on the surface. We thought a scratch was not a big deal, so we decided to purchase it and paid 500$ deposit. Couples of days later, Meixia told me the suspension system, the frame of the car, and the tires were all damaged during car accident. We were shocked at the asymmetric information they provide before and after the payment, and requested to get back the deposit. Meixia refused to communicate with us about this and involved the general manager James Godfrey to resolve this. This manager declined to refund the deposits immediately and claimed to charge us even more money from reselling this car to another customer( as shown in the red circle in the picture) And what’s worse, he transferred the ownership to us anyway even though we already informed them that we were no longer possessing this car. In the end, James sent out a receipt of 867$ ( deposit was only 500$). This entire purchasing experience was incredibly terrible, they hide information that’s gonna change customer’s purchasing decisions, which violates OMVIC’s principles. Not to mention their service quality and attitude. I have filed official complaints to TOYOTA headquarter and OMVIC, now I am writing this on google review to remind other customers to be aware of their unfair business practice.

The reviews for the sales department appear to be good but if your read previous reviews the service from the service department is awful (no pun intended). I called the service manager after my appointment to resolve the issues I had but got her voicemail. Horrible experience. Purchased a used car there. Sales do not know how to use the car’s features. I need to do some online research and talked to car manufacturer’s dealer to show me the features which the car was made. Pick up the car for the first time, nothing is ready. Car was not clean. Broken tail light was not replaced. Purchased Extra Rust protection never apply. 2nd pick up only partial promise was resolved. Check with 3rd party mechanic after picked the car. They found multiple issues. Like ball bearing are broken for the front wheel, door light not working. collision sensior malfunction, rust protection was poorly done. Really not sure how it passed safety in the first place. Need to argue with the manager before i can put it on repair for which the car still under the 30 days warranty. After 2 repairs which took a total of 2 weeks and 3 days. The car still not 100% functional and promise was still partially fulfilled. Tired of repairing it all the time. Traded the car back in the dealership with less than 2 months of ownership and 1070 km difference plus all the hassle i got - Having no vehicle while the car was in repair as Toyota never offer any spare vehicle. They sold you at the highest market value and gave you the lowest market value of the car for trade in. They also count the time you own the vehicle 60% more than the time you actually own it. Don't purchase any used vehicle there. Big dealership do not mean they are trustworthy.

The finance manager didn't like it. And she totally had an attitude and was mad with my decision. You want a good reputation you better treat your customers the same.. Where do I start.. One of the best dealership experiences I’ve had, bar none. My wife and I were searching for a pre-owned 4Runner and Eastway had one of the cleanest in Ontario with the TRD Off-Road package. After a quick chat with Afran, we decided to drive over 5 hours to go see it. When we arrived, he had it ready and waiting out front. We quickly came to an agreement after the test drive! Noting how far we had driven to see the vehicle, both James and Afran did everything they could to help me drive it home same-day. They had the paperwork to the MTO before the cut off for the day. Even COVID19 couldn’t slow these guys down. We drove it home that night! Thanks for bending over backwards to get this done guys. We love the truck, but the service is what sold us!

Horrible service - Service time was scheduled because of solid CEL and blinking “auto LSD”. 6 days in advance. Looking at forums that is a common Toyota problem. While scheduling that, regular service was scheduled as well. They mentioned at 9.30 sharp - I was there at 9.30. It took me 1h to drop keys??????????? And girl was surprised about CEL, she did not know what extended warranty covers since she has to go to finance to ask????????? They sold that extended warranty ????. - Only good thing she told me they can not fix it today, they will charge me for diagnosis. BTW, diagnosis was done in Barrhaven Toyota. They mentioned they can not trust that diagnosis, they do not know what kind of technicians work there etc??????? So, message they passed to me was “Toyota services are not good – they do not know how to diagnose problems” - At the end, they just changed oil and that took ~4 hours????????????? - Did I mention the girl was extremely unpleasant. Manager came later on, was present, bur same story. Toyota service does not have spare parts, it will take 3-4 days to get them????????? - Long story short, back to Ottawa and do service there - Or even shorter, I do not think next car will be Toyota BTW, this is wife’s car, I have a BMW, service experience is completely different ball game. Night and day difference. Serviced at two different dealerships and never heard that the other guys do not know what they talking about. Never ever met unpleasant person, never waited for more than 10min to drop car and keys. BTW, Eastway Toyota shuttle driver was top notch. Extremely pleasant and good person and he is the only reason I give them 2 stars

Personally, I will NEVER go any dealership of this group. However, I do admire my interaction with Mr. James Godfrey (General Manager). Updated: My initial review (see below) was based on my initial set of dealings. However, my subsequent dealings with them were so bad that I had to sue them. If I had an option to give them a zero star, I would be happy to do so. Got a used Honda Accord today. Overall, I am satisfied with the service except that the sales person in contact Mei Xia failed to explain an unnecessary charge labelled "Etch" that is tagged with the word "Registration" to hide it. This charge is just a scam and I had to absorb it in the cost of vehicle. Had it been explained to me before accepting the final deal and I had willingly agreed to it, I would have given 5 stars. Professionally, it was wrong for Mei Xia to attend a personal phone call during our conversations.

2 times bad experience. first time a guy showed me a car and said it has never had accident while it has obvious accident and when he knew we found it he just start to talking about that. second time I was there for leasing car ; firstly their price is more than toyota.ca price ( the price on toyota was monthly 350 while they asked for 404 ) . secondly we negotiated about a price and he said the price of buying the car ( after lease) would be 10630 and he said he will talk tomorrow for our price foreach month which was 350 /month. I met him the day after that and he said we can not make it which was reasonable but the total price of the car went up and he showed me you can buy the car after 36 month lease for 11600 which was 10320. and Total price went up for 2000 dolars.

Eastway Toyota has always completed our service very efficiently and they call to let me know what needs to be done before proceeding. Only thing that was nice and convincing are the sellers at the dealership, they try to be convincing, but other then that after leasing or buying car. If have problems they are pretty lazy, they aren't helpful as some people review their customer service is great. major improvement needed and so hard to get help with figuring out car after getting car, how to handle it if trying to get rid of it or give to someone else. Office people are slow with responding and if it isn't busy I am sure they're not always busy, it seems they try to avoid talking or answering minimal questions. People talk about reliability with toyota maybe true enough, but it isn't perfect. Reliability over time or customer service? Kia or hyundai or Ford. Maybe the cars are reliable but how reliable are the customer service people and trust and communication
