An awesome shopping experience! The staff was super friendly and eager to help. There was a huge selection of cars that you could explore inside without having to get the sale person to unlock the car. There really was no pressure at all. The sales person gave me a list of the cars on the lot and said that she was inside if we had any questions. I was free to actually look around the cars without the people swarming me like a seagulls. I didn't end up buying a car here, but I will return when I'm looking for my next vehicle.

I visited Automaxx 5 or 6 times recently while I was narrowing down my choice for a new car. I wasn't a fan of the first dealer I had met there, but the next dealer that I had met, Alana Mulhall, was a real breath of fresh air! She seemed to understand the kind of vehicle I was looking for without being pushy or condescending. I value how she knew exactly to the tee what was in or very near my budget that had everything I was looking for, and how she called me to tell me about a respectable price drop on the car that I wanted most. She smiled and made jokes and was awesome and she fixed me right up. No lies, no embellishments, no pretending. Alana tried hard and found me the right fit for my budget. She split the sale evenly with the original dealer, which might have been a policy but it felt as though she did it out of respect for her profession and her coworkers. I say all that with sincerity because Automaxx was not the only place I checked out. Some other spots tried very hard to win me with perks like tinted windows but they were always for the car I wasn't in love with or where the vehicle had a terrifying number of NHTSA complaints and I just couldn't volunteer--no, PAY!-- for that deal. Everyone in the whole office was fun and respectful, including Art--the owner's kind and delightful father. I just wasn't a big fan of one of their newer sales staff, but I expressed that and they handled it exceptionally well.

I've been coming here for years you want amazing loving you have it Mickey with a heart of gold has never ever given me nothing more then honesty, trust, comfort and care with my experiences with purchasing a car. Ive bought 2 cars from here and 1 newly yesterday. I have only one problem with the place and its financing make sure you double check what is being written on your over all before sign and call the bank if they give you anything mandatory and question if all states are true because financing thats not runned by other staff can be untruthful. My father and myself came several times over a month looking at several different cars not knowing what make or model I even wanted took different test drives and never felt pressured and always was helped by staff members every time it was a great experience! Even when I found the type of car I wanted and they only had one left but without the extras I wanted they try looking for one within my price range else where ! I chose the Dodge Dart they had and they had Factory auto sound add android auto and soon to be added reverse camera amazing team ! I absolutely loved his integrity, transparency, and moral regard. In fact, Mickey was so great, even after dealing with his misogynistic boss, he managed to make me feel better. You see, there was a button in the car that he asked if I knew when it got pushed? Answering no, he could have demeaned me as a female....but instead, he stated that he only knew the answer because he was a car dealer. Take a page out of Mickeys book boss man...And the next time you have a couple sitting in front of you regardless of whether your getting one or two signatures on the finance papers treat them both with value and dignity.

We had an easy and rapid used car purchase with Automaxx Windsor. After searching on AutoTrader, I saw a listing at a good price, and phoned Automaxx. Alana answered the phone, and confirmed the inventory on the web site. We drove over in our old minivan. She recommended the lower mileage vehicle of two of the same model, and we took it for a test drive. Alana helped us through the paperwork, pointing at the MTO office and the local bank. We transferred the contents of our trade-in to the new vehicle, and in less than 4 hours, continued our journey back home to Toronto.

When our Jeep Liberty needed extensive repairs (after 15 years of driving!), we shopped around and purchased a car from Automaxx. It was our first time dealing with them and we were quickly greeted by Rob Shaw when we were looking around the lot. He was friendly and personable and got us into the vehicle we were looking at online for a test drive. The sale of the vehicle was easy (thanks, Nunzio) and we took our car home that same day. We've had it for about a week and I noticed some scraping noise coming from the rear driver's side wheel. I called ServiceMaxx and Chris Thomson advised me to bring it in that day. The technician Steven took it for a test drive, brought it into the garage and fixed the issue immediately and there's been no noise since. Not only has everyone I've had contact with been incredibly professional and friendly, but the service is wonderful. This was my first time buying a used car and I don't know if I'd want to buy a car anywhere else. Great experience!

Carlos was extremely helpful in setting up the purchase of my vehicle. I went in on a Sunday to test drive the car and by Wednesday I was driving the car off the lot. He was able to find me a good deal on my trade-in as well which was much appreciated. Setting up the financing with Matt was also easy, and communication with both Carlos and Matt was almost always instant via text and email. One day after picking up the car, the dash was showing low tire pressure. I brought it to Service Maxx, and whether the nail was already there or I happened to run it over on my way home from the lot, they took care of it within 10 minutes free of charge. Overall great experience!

I must first begin by saying this was the best experience we have had when looking to purchase a used vehicle. Upon arrival at Auto Maxx we were greeted by a salesman Mickey (general manager) who informed us that if we had any questions to please ask that he would be just inside. Mickey immediately went inside. We felt no pressure while looking at the vehicles. Mickey later came back outside and handed us a complete list of all of the used vehicles on the Auto Maxx lot and the Service Maxx Lot. We at that time asked Mickey a few questions about one of the used vehicles. Mickey answered our questions and provided us with the Car Fax information for the vehicle we had questioned. At that time, we asked if we could test drive the vehicle. This vehicle had new brakes, new tires, new engine air filter and to boot even a new cabin air filter. Not to often in our experience have the filters ever been brand new. A sign they actually care about the product they are selling. After promising to help us scrap our Junker we asked about bringing the vehicle we were interested in to our mechanic, and as all used vehicle dealers should say he welcomed it. A sure sign of the confidence in his product. After some research the asking price was well within reasonable limits, a fair price. A thirty day complete warranty was promised. On the day of sale Mickey took the time to guide us through the scraping process. Within an hour or so of owning the vehicle, we noticed a small hiccup (loose speaker wire). True to his word, within a couple of hours the repair was done to our satisfaction.. This is what buying a used vehicle should be like. Highly recommended. Thank you Mickey and service repair staff. Terrible place to buy a vehicle, I bought a car from automaxx less then 1 year ago and have had to bring my car in for repair over 11 times and now that my brakes need to be replaced I have to get all new bolts as the people who tighten the bolts on the rim and the calipers tighten and stripped the bolts so they can no longer be removed properly. I would never recommend this place to anyone, save your money and buy new or make sure to bring the vehicle you are looking at to a real mechanic to inspect the vehicle top to bottom before making a terrible mistake like I did

Last month my husband and I bought a 2014 Smart ForTwo (electric drive) from AutoMaxx and it was the best car-buying experience ever! Although our salesperson, Rick Warren, admitted he didn't know a lot about electric vehicles, he took it upon himself to learn as much as he could about them through articles and conversations with other knowledgeable people. The price was astonishing, the mileage way low and the condition of the car absolutely stellar. There was no objection when we asked if we could take it on a long test drive and we were even encouraged to take it to a mechanic for a lookover if we had any concerns. (We didn't.) We love the car (our first EV but likely not our last!) and we couldn't have asked for a better deal at Automaxx. They know the value of good customer service and we would not hesitate to visit them again and recommend them to friends. They even sent us a coupon for a free oil change and filter. Unfortunately, EVs don't need this service, but it was a nice gesture anyway. Thanks, Rick, and thanks, Automaxx!

Would recommend getting a vehicle here. My husband went a month back, there was no pressure from the staff and we got to look at vehicles ourselves. We got to test drive a couple vehicles and also was able to put our carseat in the back of each vehicle to make sure there was enough space. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Back in 2010, me and my family migrated to Canada and settled in Windsor and at that time I got my first car from Automaxx....thanks to the excellent customer service provided by the staff specially their Sales Rep at that time Mickey Cleroux and I was happy with the car that was recommended to me. Eventually in 2012 my son have to buy his own car and there was no hesitation to get his 1st car from Automaxx and we really appreciate the above board service that Mickey who was promoted to General Manager of Automaxx had provided. Now this year, 2016 in April we bought our 3rd car with Automaxx and everything went well but my son got a major accident and the car was deemed total loss. We quickly got another car from Automaxx and as expected Automaxx staff provided us another excellent service and my son was able to get another car. However there was a slight misunderstanding but Chris & Doris and his staff fixed the issue in no time and I am very grateful for that. I kept some options open after checking out an offer in Chatham for a vehicle, and instead was referred by a handful of people (friends and a relative) to stop in at Automaxx and speak with Mickey about buying a used car. I had some concerns with offers and "promotions" outside of windsor at another dealership and Mickey broke down exactly what kind of schemes some salesmen play to try and snag a buyer. These employees are truly genuine, honest and kind. I can assure that Mickey really does not let you down when choosing a vehicle best suited to your needs. Matt in Financing does a great job with breaking down your options as well as working around your budgets to suggest you a good method to dealing with car payments and advice with insurance and warranty. As I was agreeing to but the car, I had called Alannah, last minute this morning, to ask if the vehicle I was expecting to buy today could get serviced for peace of mind on what I thought might be a loose belt or some wear on it from my test drive on Wednesday. It was checked, cleared of any issues, and I was assured that if anything happens within 30 days (their warranty), their servicemaxx will definitely take care of it. By the time I arrived 6 hours later, it was serviced, appeared to be detailed well, and was ready on the lot to leave with me. 10/10 EXPERIENCE and I would not hesitate to work with them again on future purchases. These people know how to get a job done, and fast.

Mickey is your go to man! I came here after my car was stolen and needed a new one. I had a pretty strict budget and he never pressured me to buy something out of my price range. Encouraged me to get the car looked at by my own mechanic if I so wished. Showed me details on all the work that was done to the car and how many previous owners it had etc. Bluetooth stopped working about a week after I purchased and they fixed it no questions asked free of charge! Great experience. Staff handed me a peice of paper with the entire inventory of vehicles they had with price and kilometers and said if you need help we will be inside. Thats perfect becuase I am very picky and thoroghly go over everything so the last thing i needed was someone hovering over my shoulder as I examined the vehicles. It helps that I know about vehicles also. I had done an online trade appraisal and within a day they gave me a reply with a fair value. I spent 3 hours in the morning examining many vehicles. I returned a few mintues before close that night and spoke with Mickey about the vehicle I wanted. He told me to fill out the preapproval online to speed the process and it would be reviewed in the morning and if my credit was good it would be easy. I asked how fast can things be done. He informed me that If show up tomorrow morning with my trade vehicle that I would drive the new one home that night. Next day I arrived in the morning at 10am. Signed the paperwork and returned at 5pm to pick up my new vehicle, washed, detailed and ready to go. Very happy.

Horriable place to buy a car. My daughter bought a car from here and they were happy and helpful than a month later she had a problem that they so called "fixed" same problem kept occuring and now she was told the problem cannot be fixed. $2500 spent on a warranty and they dont know how to fix the problem. Also, they replaced her radio its was scratched in the process and they refuse to fix it. Horrible customer service! Do not buy a car from here unless you want problems

We were allowed to try several vehicles until Vicki felt which one fit her best. We were given a fair price for our trade in. This is a very professional and well run business. The staff are great! AutoMaxx delivered on every promise they advertised. From the no pressure sales staff to their service center staff they handled my business with professionalism and integrity all the way. I did have a few issues with my car in the first 2 weeks of ownership and AutoMaxx made all the necessary repairs with genuine OEM parts and fixed everything back to new condition. I'm pretty sure that after all the repairs they did on my car they were in the red and made little to no profit from my purchase. I'n my opinion they just wanted to make things right. Upsold on insurance I was told were mandatory to get a car loan (tied selling), kept them because I was told they covered certain aspects of my car loan, called the insurance company who actually told me it was incorrect and advised I report the finance manager to OMVIC to report this agent. Will be going through with this, highly unethical company. Also car had some issues (it was used so I expected that) but had to fight to use my warranty that is give, dragged their heels when a repair needed to be done, overall not a good experience besides the actual car salesman Mickey who was excellent.

After looking at many car dealers in and around windsor ,I was more than DISAPPOINTED in the quality and shape of the used cars available ! Until i stopped in at AUTOMAXX!!!! There were many really great cars and fair prices in very good condition as well as low kms. The car i chose , Hyundai Veloster - 2013 was an easy choice , not only was it spotless but it was well taken care of by the previous owner ! This Car had many options i had never seen before and the salesman Chris at the walker rd. Windsor store was very professional and was able to guide me thru all the options i was unsure of ! I was also interested in a few other Cars and he was more than patient with me as i took a week to decide on the car i chose !
