When I called the dealer with the problem, they pretty much diagnosed it over the phone and indicated that there was a ready fix covered under warranty. Two other dealers in the Ottawa area did not know or divulge this information when I called them. I took the car in on a Friday morning, and the work was completed before the end of their working day. Staff are knowledgable and friendly and I will definitely consider them for future service requirements.

I contacted them via online help..the relate was terrible. Response time with the representative took 45 mins to enquire fir a part simply. Then i had to wait another day for the service centre to respond. They in turn told me they could not be certain my part and tried to dissuade me self-repair. In the end, i saved over 700$ doing my own spark plug, injector replacement. Much easier than they had faith in me. The new gaskets i requested came in online instead for a fraction of their price. Thanks Nissan..for nothing but wasted time and lack of faith.

We bought our vehicle at this location in December and experienced great service! Today we brought it in for a routine oil change and to diagnose the source of a vibration in the steering - turns out it was just compounded mud in the rims. We received shuttle service, regular updates on the status of the vehicule, a car wash (which we did not expect) and friendly service once again. Everyone was great! They called me twice then I went to meet Hassan Albboudy(sp?) to upgrade to a new car. When he went to appraise my car he began yelling at me. Later he wouldn’t give me time to decide when he’s giving me offers on the new financing. I’ve been a customer for 3 years, bought my car and got it serviced there, now I’ll never go back.

The latest service was simply to have documents related to personal registration handed over at an appointed time. This related to a common transaction, the transfer from lease status to personal owner, something that occurs frequently at a dealership. I found myself waiting 20 minutes while an employee searched for the documents. Apparently, someone with the documents got called away on an emergency and no one knew where the documents were. Even in such a case, a business should have a system for document storage and retrieval that employees are aware of, with the result that the transaction would be in the order of 5 minutes long. Not impressed!

I'm wondering why the service staff doesn't wear a mask? Five staff members at the service counter, walking in and out, not wearing masks. Thank you for fixing my recalled airbags. However, before telling me that I have massive repairs with an exact cost ( $3900), it might have been better customer service to create some dialogue, ask me if I have a regular service professional, am I aware of a some pending work that might need to be addressed on my vehicle? Instead you gave me an exact dollar figure that needed to be done. Between the lack of mask protocols, and the glaring presentation of $3000 in repairs, three sentences into our conversation, I would not return. Edited to add that I went to my own mechanic, who gave me a quote of $1200 because there is nothing wrong with the bushings

I have never purchased a car from 417 Nissan, but I did return a leased Nissan vehicle to that dealership on August 1, 2020. I was told that I would receive a confirmation letter from Nissan Finance Canada (NCF) saying that the lease was now done. Apparently you are supposed to receive this letter within 30 days of returning the vehicle. On September 16, while negotiating my mortgage, the bank discovered that I still had an open lease with Nissan. I wondered how that could be? I had a signed receipt that I returned the car on August 1st. It took the next two full days of phone calls to chase down the finance manager (Farid) at the dealership, and I got a different story every time. On Sept.16, I was told that he had sent in the paperwork and would call his "agent" at NCF to investigate. On Sept.17, I was told that he (Farid) had left messages and had not heard back. On the morning of Sept. 18. I was told that the paperwork had been completed and mailed in last week (week of Sept. 7-11). I requested a pdf of the cheque (via email) as confirmation. All this time, NCF was telling me they had no paperwork and no cheque on file from the dealership. On the afternoon of September 18, after 6 phone calls to the dealership on that day, I finally received the email confirmation and noted that the pdf cheque was dated for Sept.18. It had obviously not been sent to NCF the week before. This entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. Each time I called I was told that everyone was very busy because of the "sale". I appreciate dealerships are in the business of selling cars - sometimes used cars. I know from the 417 Nissan website that the leased car I returned was re-sold quickly - so I would have expected that final paperwork to be completed on time - or at least not to string things along. One thing I must say is that the receptionist was very professional and helpful in trying to hep resolve this. Thank you Kim! These 5 stars are for you !

One of the worst experiences in my life . Never buy used car from 417 Nissan, unless you buying used Nissan. There mechanic/ service advisor try to convince you with wrong information to run a way from fixing the car !!! And clearly said, if it is Nissan, we are expert with Nissan and we would fix it immediately!!! I bought uaed honda cr-v 2015 from them, it has bad noise at cold start with turning sharp left/ right. They stated, normal operation, If you don't trust us, take it to Honda dealer to find the problem and we will pay you !!! Why shall I work instead of them. They heard the noise, unfortunately it disappeared after the car run for longer time Something get lubricated with rotation. This is the treatment,; customer go help your self!!!!!!!!!! Not advisable to but any none Nissan used car from 417 Nissan

This dealership is unlike any other. The service on my car was done in a timely manner at a reasonable price. The service agent explained all the work done, and patiently answered all my questions. The lounge is comfortable with free coffee and WiFi, washrooms are spotless. Dec. 7, 2021 update. I know I've already reviewed 417 Nissan. But today I must write again how this dealership breaks the rules of just being another dealership. The five stars stand, in fact I wish I could change it to 10 stars. This morning my regular commute had to stop when I drove over something that caused a flat of the driver's rear tire. I called roadside assist, even though my membership expired, they still picked me up and brought my car back to the dealership (I'll be looking to extend my membership). Not only did they fix the flat (my model doesn't have a spare tire), it was done in reasonable time, AND my car was washed! (Winter time makes cars quite dirty). Even Al the shuttle car driver is helpful and friendly. Can't beat this dealership!

Very knowledgeable with high standard, I never go back for the same problem twice. I drive a 2010 Titan Crew Cab LE and it runs like when I first bought it. It has been an amazing reliable truck and hope Nissan will resume Titan production for Canada, over the next few years with hybride or electric motor options.

I took my car for service. I arrived as per the scheduled appointment to change the tires. The car was not received in the garage until 35 minutes passed! And I had to wait another 45 minutes until the tires were changed! Guys if this is the way you manage the process of service then do not ask the customers to set scheduled appointments.. let them walk-in for service if they are going to wait anyhow, otherwise make sure there is no such waiting time! It’s not 10 or 15 minutes of waiting time until you start with the car.. it’s 35 minutes! And this is so much!

Went into the dealership 3 weeks ago and found a used car..put a down payment on car, and wanted to finance the rest. After 3 weeks of sending me back and forth of approvals for finance and a pickup / delivery date (3 times), a third finance manager contacted me and told me they sold the car to someone else. Do not use this dealership. They give you no updates on anything, and apparently sell your car to someone else after you put money down.

Had a really good experience buying the vehicle with them. Sales and staff were very friendly and supportive. I give the 2 star rating because after taking the vehicle home several things were noticed that the dealer did not communicate with me. There was zero washer fluid in the vehicle, thought the pump was broken when the juice wouldnt come out. After having the vehicle for almost 3 weeks now the car is prompting me to have an oil change done. The radio stopped working, still waiting to hear back from dealer. Back brakes have zero life left in them, and rotors need to be replaced. The value of the vehicle was really good and I wasnt expecting perfect condition for a used one but these are some basic things you expect not to happen. I can even live with the brakes but to not say anything about it, really dishonest.

My service visit today at 417 Nissan today was a positive experience. After indicating what I wanted done, my service advisor Christine suggested getting a wheel alignment as it had not been done for a couple of years. This proved to be prescient as one of my wheels was out of alignment. As well, she agreed with my thought to defer replacing both cabin and air filter to the next service visit given limited driving over the past year. My car was washed without even asking and kept me abreast of the servicing as I waited for it to be completed. Finally, she walked me through my bill pointing out some repair work to be considered for the next visit. Overall, I felt taken care of by Christine who was very courteous during my visit. If I could give less than one star I would. 417 Nissan is the scummiest dealership I’ve ever had an interaction with. Last week my car was towed there and upon inspection was told I need a new alternator. My car is a 2008 Nissan Versa so being old in age, my boyfriend and I both asked if anything else was wrong. We were both assured everything else is fine and working great. I paid the $1000 repair and within a week started having issues with it again. We believed it was an exhaust issue and brought it back in. Now they are telling me UPON INSPECTION, meaning they didn’t originally do an inspection when I specifically asked them too, that I need to put in another $3000 to get it up to par. That’s worth more than the car itself!! The only reason I agreed to put a thousand dollars in was because everything else was allegedly ok. So unless you enjoy getting ripped off a thousand dollars don’t ever come here.

The visit at 417 Nissan from start to end was a great experience. Our Altima began to exhibit some stalling issues (it felt like the vehicle was going to stall when stopped at a red light or stop sign. The technicians spent time explaining possible issues, but would not know for certain until a computer diagnostic was completed. Once they received the results, they provided us with a number of options to resolve the issue. In the end, our Altima is back to running normal and we didn't have to break the bank!

I was happily surprised on a very snowy Saturday morning. I was passing by my Nissan dealer and thought I’d look into booking an appointment for an oil change. I was expecting to come back another day, and I was fine with that, but instead, what a bonus, they were able to take me in right away. They got the job done efficiently, and I was pleasantly surprised with the price. And they even put the little reminder sticker in my windshield (a practice apparently abandoned by lots of shops nowadays) to let me know when I should plan for my next oil change. Good job you guys! This place has been absolutely terrible for me on multiple occasions. Earlier today, I went back here for the 1st time in several years because my key fob battery needed replacing. After replacing it, I drove away and discovered that my other key fob had stopped working, inexplicably. So I drove back and the parts guy kindly replaced the second fob's battery for free. The Parts guy has a friendly manner. But the new battery in fob #2 didn't fix the problem. So the parts guy sent me to the guy in Service, who told me I needed to buy a new fob for hundreds of dollars (and wasn't sympathetic about it, was actually somewhat sarcastic about it) and sent me back to the Parts guy, who by then had vanished. I didn't wait for the Parts guy to return. When I got home, I Googled around, and quickly fixed the problem -- just needed to reprogram it (easy, just 2 mins in the car). But if the parts guy had been at his desk, I probably would have bought the new fob. Either the Service guy or the Parts guy should have known to try the reprogramming trick. I'm never going back to this place for anything. ### (Original review from a few years ago: Not the greatest experience. The technician broke a part of the emergency brake while replacing the brake pads, and they initially asked me to pay $90 for the piece they broke (parts, no labor). When I asked them to waive the cost of replacing the part they broke, they did so, but I still thought it was cheeky of them to ask me to pay for it in the first place. Then, when I drove away, my car made a clicking sound that I only noticed after several minutes on the highway, so I brought it back. They re-did the break job, which took another 2 hours (I waited while they fixed it, because they couldn't predict how long it would it take to fix the noise), and then the noise disappeared. Drives well now. Everyone was courteous, but no one was apologetic at any point. Addendum: the noise ended up coming back, the car never drove perfectly after that, and I traded it in soon afterward.)

Their staff are diverse and interesting, I bet they have great stories! The car they sold me is used, but it drives like new and was clean, and safe and ready to roll (literally and figuratively) when they said it would be. They really like customers who buy cars, even used ones. You can tell bcs they bang a gong. I am shy so that was a bit uncomfortable, but everyone laughed and it was over quick. They also told me they would take car of renewing my license plate sticker and when they did they put it on the wrong side of the plate. Got pulled over by the cops because my sticker wasn’t on the right side. They saw the stickers from previous years on the right hand side yet chose to put it on the wrong side. TOP TEN REASONS WHY 417 NISSAN IS THE WORST DEALER EVER I purchased a new Infiniti Q60 from 417 Nissan, and there were so many problems with the transaction, it seems obvious the sales team was deliberately trying to screw me over: 1) My sales advisor, Uy Ho, along with Nasri Dagher and Macon Doublet, used deceitful and manipulative sales tactics to try to pressure me into buying before I was ready. 2) 417 Nissan does not follow COVID-19 health and safety protocols. I dealt with 5 different members of the sales staff, and none of them wore masks. 3) Uy Ho’s knowledge of the car was poor. He thought the car had black rims, run-flat tires, and came in only one shade of grey. He was wrong about all three things. 4) On the delivery date, Uy Ho informed me that he had inspected the car and that it was “perfect”. The car was dirty from transportation, and it had a piece of cardboard glued to the roof. 5) Finance Manager Farid Jaber tried to con me into paying $65.81 more than I had agreed to on the sales contract. 6) Despite my repeated requests, the sales team refused to give me the 2-year prepaid maintenance package that came with the purchase of the car. 7) Uy Ho changed the VIN of the car I was purchasing without informing me. This negligence meant my car was uninsured for two weeks. 8) I complained to the GM, Greg Klepacz, about my experience, and he agreed to sell me a discounted winter tire package as compensation. When I arrived at 417 Nissan to pick up the tires, I was made to wait over an hour and then realized that they had ordered the wrong colour rims. When it came time to put the tires on my car, I discovered I had been sold a tire package without TPMS sensors even though my car requires them. Uy Ho had provided the quote for the tire package, and Greg Klepacz processed the order. 9) Months after the sale, I discovered I never received the car’s infotainment manual. I suspect Uy Ho removed it because he was unhappy with his commission on the sale. UY HO IS THE WORST SALESPERSON I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. 10) Macon Doublet was fined $7500 by OMVIC in 2016 for false advertising. Consequently, he was unregistered at the time of my transaction, and should not have been involved. I filed a complaint with OMVIC, and their investigation is ongoing. The list could be longer, but I promised a top ten. I have documentation and a witness to back up my claims. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. Avoid 417 Nissan: there are plenty of other car dealers with better customer service track records. Contact OMVIC before buying. OMVIC can give you tips on how to ensure your vehicle purchase goes smoothly.

Avoid 417 Nissan (I am stilly paying for a car I sold them) My first experience was watching Henok the sales person write down the information of the car I wanted to sell, then type it into a computer. I should have walked giving this was first 30 minutes of my experience. We finally got to talk about the vehicles I wanted to drive. The rest of this experience was good because they wanted me to buy a car, everybody was nice, friendly and talked to us. The minute I bought the car, that all changed. 1. I was told a Thursday pickup, then a Saturday pick up, then a Wednesday pick up. Nobody could get the date correct 2. The finance person did not tell me that I needed the financing information to get insurance 3. When I called back to get my Insurance, Mo, the finance guy was gone, and his replacement did not return my call, neither did Henok. I had to call and force my way to a Manager to get this information. 4. I had to drop off two sets of tires for my vehicle, when i went there to do that, i had to wait for 15mins to talk to a salesperson who was with another client...JUST TO DROP OFF TIRES 5. As of writing this, I had to make a car payment on the car that I traded in. This was over a week ago. I am no longer the owner of the car and 417 Nissan agreed to pay of my loan...They have not and again I will have to fight for a resolution. Save your time, go somewhere else to buy your Nissan as I am sure you will be get treated better than this. They obviously show that they are sales first and people second Note: I updated my review to 3 stars. I think Henok did a good job of helping solve issue 5 above quicker than promised.

I have an anti corrosion module on my NV2500 van that requires a yearly inspection, so that was the main purpose of my appointment. I was pleased to get an appointment without delay and I asked to have my snow tires installed, as well as an oil change. I received a call mid morning about a couple of other minor issues, as well as a couple of bigger problems that will need attention at a later date.
