DESCRIPTION

You will see all the feddbacks of real people who bought the services and products of Yukon Nissan (Car Concessionaire) in the area close to Whitehorse (Canada).

Right now this firm receives a score of 4.1 stars out of 5 and that rating has been based on 28 reviews.

As you can see the average score it has is quite good, and it's based on a large number of opinions, so we may think that the rating is very reliable. If many people have bothered to give their review when they've done well, is that it works.

You know that we do not usually bother to write evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

This Car Concessionaire is included in the category of Nissan dealer.

Awesome service! Loved the staff. 1000 percent better than Regina Nissan. At least they treat you with respect here!

Be wary of the service department at Yukon Nissan. I got my back brakes and in-cabin air filter changed and less than two months later they said I needed to change both again. There are barely any options in Whitehorse, so be cautious with what they tell you. What discouraged me further was when I pointed out that I just changed my in-cabin air filter, I was told the service technician forgot to read my previous records to find out what been done. Which means rather than checking my in-cabin air filter, they said I needed it replaced.

From the minute I drove onto the lot looking to trade in my vehicle until I drove my Murano away three weeks later, I have received nothing but exceptional service from each staff member I spoke to. Luke, Lee and Dominic's honesty, quick responses to my multiple calls, along with their follow-up was instrumental to me deciding to purchase and join the Nissan family. Finally, my experience with Nissan's service department was top notch. Allowing me to borrow a sweet ride for the day while my Murano was tended to, made my life with two kids so much easier. All in all seamless. I would highly recommend Nissan not only for product quality, but superb customer service as well.

I felt it was prudent to write a positive review about my recent experience at Yukon Nissan. I've been a Nissan owner for five years. It was a pleasure dealing with Kevin, the previous Owner/Service Manager. I was thrilled to see continuity, and excellent service when Dave took over as Service Manager. He has consistently gone above and beyond for me. Recently, I had a difficult experience with my Pathfinder breaking down. Though I encountered hiccups initially when my vehicle went in for servicing, Dave bent over backwards to remedy a very unfortunate circumstance. I went from tears of anger and frustration, to absolute joy - and that is all thanks to Dave! He absolutely restored my faith with Yukon Nissan AND restored my Pathfinder to working order. To say that it was an ordeal would be an understatement! As a business owner, I recognize that service must remain a number one priority. Dave demonstrated his commitment to service by keeping me informed, ensuring I got a courtesy vehicle, and following up to see how it was running. Really appreciate the outcome of this experience!

I can’t stress enough how awesome the team at Yukon Nissan was to work with! While having some mechanical problems on the drive from Washington to Alaska they went above and beyond to help me get back on the road! Everyone there was top notch and a pleasure to work with! I can’t thank them enough!

Rebecca, service advisor for Yukon Nissan, was so great to deal with! She's a straight shooter and doesn't try to gouge you for more cash for unnecessary parts or work. This is very refreshing to see in a male dominated industry. Kudos to Rebecca for a job extremely well done. Keep it up!

It's been a journey Nissan, but we survived and you won't have to worry about this customer any longer. Best of luck and happy new year. #revisedreview

Years ago, I took a 1998 Altima for a test drive. I decided to purchase the vehicle. The sticker price was $25,995.00. The 1999's were coming, so they were clearing out the 98's. I asked how much the discount would be, as they were wanting to get the 98's out to make room for the 99's. The sales guy said the price is $25,995.00, no discount. I asked " not even a nickle off", he said no, not even a nickle. I phoned a Nissan dealer in Vancouver and got a price of $22,200.00 for a 1999. Bought it over the phone, flew down for $200.00 one way and the dealer picked me up AFTER HOURS at the airport, drove me to the dealership to do paper work and I was on my way with a new car in less than 15. minutes. I haven't shopped there since. Fast forward to today. I purchased a second hand Nissan Titan truck from a fellow Yukoner last year. Today I received a recall letter regarding the drivers side airbag. I phoned the local number for Yukon Nissan and spoke with a gal who said the part was in stock and they were able to book me in right away (35 minutes from the time I called) to have the recall service. I was pleasantly surprised and actually quite impressed with this. I go down to the dealership to drop of the truck, have someone on their way to pick me up and I find out that the part is NOT IN STOCK! Apparently the gal I talked to was at a call center and not at the local dealership and misinformed me. Why, Why Why have a system like this if it obviously does not work! There are many 5 star reviews for Yukon Nissan, and I'm sure overall they are good to deal with, but this has definitely turned me off to ever deal there again. I suppose I have no choice to have the recall work done there when the part comes in, but I will try to find out if I can have another mechanic do it for me so I don't have to go back.

My partner did not buy her vehicle at Yukon Nissan, she got a better deal elsewhere. She was at a local pub and the general manger was making comments about her in a loud enough manner that we could hear. Is this appropriate for the GM? No. There are also rumours that if you didn’t buy your vehicle from Yukon Nissan, then you are not a priority for service. While I understand that they only have two mechanics, my girlfriend has obviously been bumped more than once. Does this really punish her? Not really. It’s all warranty, which Nissan pays not us. Once the warranty is done we won’t be purchasing another Nissan. So who is really punished at the end of the day? Furthermore, is this appropriate for a business based on customer service to do? No. Finally, the service manager is condescending, arragonat, and rude. Not to mention inappropriate towards women. He does not understand the meaning of customer service, nor does he know how to manage. Yet, he asks us to give 5 stars on the Yukon Nissan Facebook page. Does that really make any sense? You delay service and are rude, but you ask for a favour? What? My partner is at a point where she no longer wishes to step foot in that dealership and be treated the way she is. There are also rumours that the service manager used his position aka Nissan computers to obtain a date with a customer. Is our information and privacy safe with Nissan? It would appear not. At the end of the day, Yukon Nissan is not gaining life long customers. Reply to Owner: While I appreciate your concern, unfortunately, there is no such thing as gossip in small town particularly when public figures are involved and things are said in public places. Overall, the point is not to be rude, slanderous, or difficult. The point is, is our private information safe? And after spending a large amount of money, will we be treated with some level of customer service? VIP or not we are Nissan customers. We may not always live in the Yukon or deal with Yukon Nissan, but we COULD be Nissan customers for many years. This type of behavior does not reflect well on Nissan itself. I urge Yukon Nissan alter your business practices to serve those of a small town.

Dave is terrible to deal with very confrontational and rude

Be alert if you are buying a used vehicle here. The sales staff are excellent and polite however the GM and the finance manager have some interesting policies (as per their explanations). They insisted on charging YTG recycling fees for tires on a used vehicle and also charging the federal air conditioning enviro levy. In both cases this should only be charged on new equipment as it has potential to double charge. I am suspicious that the managers might know this and charge these fees anyway that technically would not have to be remitted to their respective governments. I consulted with other local dealers (who do not charge these on used equipment) and government websites regarding this for research. Also don't be bullied into buying theft insurance - what they call "etching". This is supposedly a theft deterrent by etching all of the vehicles glass and providing very limited theft coverage. I found my car insurance covered fire, theft and vandalism for the same price as the theft etching. Furthermore I could not find any etching they may have done on the glass, only one newly applied little sticker on the driver window. The finance manager insisted this be paid in order for the sale to proceed as per their policy. Other local dealerships either stay away from what some of them feel is a scam or ones that may offer it do so only at the customers request which from what I found out is practically never. Also I don't recall having signed an actual policy with the insurance carrier which was odd. It seems that the insurance carrier is in Alberta. The GM was ready to kill the sale because I had the fortitude to ask about the additional $1000.00 over what should have been the quoted price. The dealership has refunded the tire, AC and Etching charges and is now aware of the regulations regarding tire recycling fees and AC enviro fees so speak up if you have ever been charged these on a used vehicle - at any dealership.
