Very slow security screening. Plan to spend as much time waiting to go through for a first flight in the morning (6am) as you would in Toronto or Vancouver.

Some air flight attendants need to learn better customer service. I seem to keep getting the same lady. Who I feel is racist. Also can be very rude.

The restaurant closed at supper time. I've been wandering around her with a cart full of suitcases for 3 1/2 hours since check-in doesn't open until 2 hours before the plane leave -- I have an hour and a quarter left. All in all, a nasty experience. Next time will fly through Yellowknife.

I'm surprised that people are nicer yvr so clean this airport got only 3 airlines Air North, WestJet, Air Canada and one restaurant and gift shop it's a mini port

The various staff are kind, courteous and extremely helpful. The covid regulations are excellent and well enforced. Sadly the gift shop is so crowded it is not wheelchair accessible. So if you need water or a snack you are out of luck. This fly in the ointment sadly takes this fantastic facility from 5 to 4 stars.

Tout devient plus rapide : check-in, contrôle de sécurité, récupération des bagages etc. L'aéroport est très propre et le personnel très chaleureux. Attention, il n'y a pas de réelle offre de restauration seulement quelques snacks disponibles à la boutique avant la sécurité. Après la sécurité, uniquement des boissons en distributeurs. Dianne and Uptkumar at the security area were extremely rude. I went through forgetting i had water in my water bottle and they screamed at me for dumping it out in a garage bin saying I should have known to walk to a bathroom and dump it there. No level of professionalism at this airport and no recourse to provide feedback on staff behavior.

How is it fair for Airport Security to give out a $50 fine for a vehicle parked at the airport, left overnight for an incoming resident who needed to drive straight up to a community without stopping in Whitehorse, (as per COVID regulations). Especially in light of the 3.56 million given to the aviation sector to help offset lost airport revenues during COVID - (and one of the fee waivers was for PARKING STALL FEES) You take TAXPAYERS DOLLARS and then continue to collect fines. Double dipping. Not cool!!!

This airport is practical and clean. Conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Whitehorse.

Getting fuel here is almost impossible. They will only use one truck and prioritize the airlines to the point of ignoring any transient aircraft. Prepare to wait hours and screw up your duty day.

Got here early for a flight that i couldn't get on and had to spend 6 hours waiting for the next flight. This is the most uncomfortable airport i have ever had to spend time in. brutal wooden chairs and the entire airports power cycled off and on every hour or so. The internet, which is literally the only thing to do is incredibly strangled cant download and can barley stream. I was quite honestly the only traveller in the place for a good 2 hours and the net still sucked. The place was clean i give them that. If your coming here i hope you're not as unlucky as me and are only waiting for a short time.

3 points only because dogs are allowed in the arrivals lounge, and that's the best welcome home ever. BUT: security staff have gotten crabby in the past few years, and we've gone from unlimited free parking to fairly expensive parking in only five years, and there's even someone to walk around the pick up zone snarkily demanding you move on. It's a small town, not Pearson International, guys.

Small airport with two gates. Upgrades are underway to add restaurants to the airport. There is a souvenir shop. More seating is available upstairs. Air North is the airline to travel on to get to Whitehorse from Vancouver. Airport has several rental car companies, I recommend Driving Force.

Came here for a connecting flight and it was very disorganized. No signs indiciating where to go, and the screens did not give us a gate number either. When we found our gate, another flight number was posted which made it very confusing. Security was fairly friendly though.

The toilets are very very clean. The view from the slope side of the mountains is magnificent. (Original) Petit aéroport conviviale, une boutique de souvenirs, aucun espace de restauration. A beautiful small airport in the heart of Whitehorse. Staff and security are friendly and courteous. It is only 5 minutes away from Whitehorse downtown. Only one drawback is the lack of any eatery in the area after security check; there are few shops with snack , drink vending machines before security check. I highly recommend opting for the Air North flight from this airport for the unbeatable money value & complimentary inflight meal services.

By far the best airport in Canada. The airport is adequately sized, very artistically decorated and very much user friendly. It resembles a museum rather than an airport. The architecture is clean and very elegant. If there is such a thing as Canadian architecture, Vancouver airport would be the very best example of that
