I had some suspicions that this was going to be one of those typical West Van business with jacked prices and condescending employees that were over privileged and under skilled. Wow... was I ever wrong. I needed them to install some tires that I'd purchased on the Tire Rack (UG is their only local installer), and I read some good reviews (including on google review). Again, I remained suspect. Sure- probably some friends posting positive reviews to promote their business. On reflection, I was treated with such kindness and consideration that I feel a bit like am now that friend posting a review. Tony and Darren were downright friendly not only to me but also to my girlfriend who needed to help me with the logistics of getting a variety of wheels and tires down to UG for the installation. They helped her unload the tires without being asked... they were pleasant and polite. Darren, likely aware of the fact that I know very little about tires other than that they're round could have drilled me for every penny I had when I admitted that my stance might have needed some adjustment. I conceded that because the profile of my tire had changed that they may need to work on my alignment, or my camber, or my coils. He disagreed and- though I'm sure he knew he could charm me into some additional work- left it at that. Okay, so this great service and honesty shouldn't be such a surprise at a place that charges prohibitively high west van prices... Right? Well- not exactly. Tony handed me bill and thought they'd forgotten to add labour, or two tires... or... So what you have here is a business that is not only VERY competitively priced (even for exterior west van), but also loaded with friendly staff who know their jobs and excel at them. My only hope is that I do get a chance to go back there to support this local business before I head back to Alberta!

Another of the Lower Mainland's hidden gems. Quite possible the best luxury and performance car dealership anywhere near Vancouver. Great service, honest & transparent sales process and very knowledgeable staff. If it's not in inventory they will find it for you -pretty much anywhere! It's a boutique shop and you really feel like you matter as a client there.

All I can say is WOW ! I have bought several domestic and exotics over the years, and I can honestly say that my recent purchase at The Urban Garage has been by far the most enjoyable. The entire team treat you with the utmost of respect, they are knowledgeable of their inventory. They certainly are not the "run of mill" dealership. I recently purchased a used vehicle from Duncan and it was probably the best car buying experience I have ever had. Duncan was professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the car, very responsive to the questions that I had, and even spent the time to walk me through the car history including recent maintenance records and the carfax report. Masks were mandatory during the test drive which I greatly appreciated due to concerns around COVID. The pricing was extremely fair and the transaction and paper work was smooth. I will definitely be recommending The Urban Garage to others.

They do carry a few luxury and sport cars however the sales team is not really one of their strengths! I called to inquire about a vehicle they have in stock, set up and appointment, went there and met the sales rep that I spoke with. Up till now everything sounds and looks normal. What is not is the lack of follow up even though I was told by the sales agent that I would be called. I had to call twice after that visit to inquire about the vehicle and was told, again, that I would be contacted to keep me in the loop in case the car gets sold or not to someone else and whether my preliminary offering on it was accepted or not. Not a single phone call whatsoever from them. I was not happy about that experience and took my business somewhere else. I cannot seem to recall the sales agent name but I am sure this was just that agent's issue not the whole team otherwise those guys would definitely be out of business by now.

This is an email I sent directly to Duncan (the owner): I just wanted to provide you with some feedback on my recent purchase of a 2010 Honda Ridgeline from your dealership. I have to say that this being my 4th car purchase in the past 10 years, this was by far the most pleasurable buying experience. This is my first time coming to know of and doing business with Urban Garage, and I only discovered your dealership through the Autotrader website. I will openly admit, initially I was apprehensive about approaching your dealership regarding the above vehicle as I could see that your dealership specializes with Ultra performance and luxury car sales, a market segment I would ordinarily associate with not being affordable and an assumed expectation of dealing with pretentious sales men in an overly obnoxious environment. I dealt with David (salesman) and his professionalism and courtesy was definitely noted, I was certainly welcomed to the dealership without any prejudice, at no point did he put any pressure on me during the buying process and he was quite responsive to my questions and concerns and really came though. There was no awkward haggling, unforeseen charges and fees or any unwanted surprises. There were some inconveniences involved, including having to return to the dealership’s service center a week later to have an oil change done after purchase, after being advised that one was already done at the time of purchase but like anything else, glitches happen and David took care of that by sending me a complimentary voucher for the next service. Leaving the dealership with a bottle of champagne and a firm handshake of gratitude from David was icing on the cake. Its not too often I’ve left a dealership feeling pleased not only with the purchase but also the experience. I can say without a doubt that in the future should I be in the market for another vehicle that I’ll be a returning customer, and will certainly recommend any friends and family your way.

I was with my 85 year old Mom who has difficulty seeing and is hard of hearing. We had her dog with us. We had completed 6 errands together and I was parked in a parking lot across the street from Urban Garage. I was taking her home and my car wouldn't start. I called BCAA to get them started. I called my husband. I decided to look under the hood and see if a wire had come loose from the battery. I couldn't open the hood. A man named Mark approached me and asked if I needed help. He said he was pretty sure my battery was dead. Mark said he was with Urban Garage across the street and he would go and get a battery charger and 'jump start' my car. I offered to call a cab to get Mom and dog home but he said we wouldn't need it to just give him 5 minutes. He came back with the charger, got my hood open, and scraped off a blue/white crust on a battery post and PRESTO he got the car started. Mark told me not to turn the car off. He said, once you've taken Mom and dog home, go directly to the Urban building on Marine Drive and they would clean the battery properly, no charge, and jump start me again so I could get home. I told him he was our "Knight in Shining Armour"!!! I thanked him sincerely for stopping to help us....because he could have just kept walking. I called BCAA and cancelled the request. The battery has been replaced and I'm back on the road again. THANKS SO MUCH Mark!!!

This car with it's features and upgrades was by far the best Boxster S on the national market.
