Beyond fed up dealing with MCL and their 'salesman' Kirk Leslie. This guy is your classic slimy car salesmen, and who has no problem providing completely false information to clients. He takes absolutely zero care in servicing his clients. He doesn't even know how to operate the cars that he's been selling there for over 10 years. If he put half the energy into doing his job with integrity rather then harassing his clients after the sale for them to complete some satisfaction survey to his benefit that would be a great start. We recently walked in to MCL to purchase a 3rd car from them, but in having to deal with Kirk again we'll never be going back to this dealership. I guess at the end of the day you should just always listen to your wife, who told me from the get go that she had a bad gut feeling about this salesman and that we should go elsewhere.

I had the worst experience ever in this dealership. I have been driving BMW for almost ever and wanted to lease a Jaguar as my next car. There were a lot of things wrong with them. The store does not have lounge area, the personnel are impolite. They don't let you test drive the car alone, and also keep telling you where to go when you are driving it. Feels like driving test. Salesmen won’t give you a quote or discuss pricing until you tell them you want to buy right away! They hold on to your car key so you won't leave even if you tell them that you don't want to buy today from them. Anyway, I liked the car but the sales person ruined the experience for me and I may never get a car from Jaguar because of the unprofessional salesman there.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from MCL Land Rover. I am an out of town buyer and I dealt with Robert F over the phone and via email throughout. The vehicle was exactly as presented and Robert was excellent to deal with. On the drive home, I had a minor hiccup and a quick call back to the dealership and they had me sorted out completely. A special thank you to Carlo V for his assistance. This dealership has high end vehicles and the SUV I bought was one of the lower cost options they had available. Despite this, I was made to feel like a valued customer as if I was purchasing a car 10 times the price. I really appreciated the professionalism and transparent style of everyone I dealt with at MCL. Thank you. The absolute WORST. I'll never buy another car from MCL and DEFINITELY not have my vehicles serviced there. The lack of care, from all levels, is by far more horrendous than I've ever experienced at any car dealership in my life. From taking over a WEEK to get the financing department to call me back to simply run the credit the application TO puchasputhe vehicle, to my car being in the service department for 42 DAYS to fix a blown speaker and being told not once nor twice nor three times that it was repaired, drove to the dealership EACH time only for the problem to still exist. It's as though no one even checked the car!!! Then, to 'apologize' for my horrible experience, they offered to do my annual service free of charge. Got the car back, drove for a couple of months only to then discover that they DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT!! The level of negligence experienced at that dealership is Kryptonian. Literally out of this world.

I have known them for quite while and unfortunately did some business with RR and Jag every-time I go there I regret! first of all they mark up the price because they are located in Downtown Vancouver next to Ferrari, Austin Bentley.. compare to RR Langley and Richmond. sales manager and the car appraiser don't know what they're doing and act so immature. better to buy a car from small car dealership in the middle of nowhere than this MCL... if they have -5 stars I would giving it to them. so disappointed

In the past 3 years, I've leased two vehicles from Adam Smith and he was awesome in every way. Adam is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, easy to deal with and he never "pushes" the lease or deal. Even if I buy/lease a different product from MSL, I would only want to deal with Adam. In fact he's the reason I returned so quickly and took out a second lease. Both my vehicles have only been serviced by Jason Hanyoung. I've never had a vehicle serviced by someone who took such a personal interest in my vehicle. Recently, I had a number of minor issues that I wanted inspected and corrected as required. He easily included these items and then included the necessary work as part of a scheduled servicing my vehicle was required. And he still had the vehicle out at the time promised. Jason always ensures a very proper and thorough washing/detailing is completed to the vehicles he's responsible for. Another great servicing job Jason, thank you very much.

It Was very bad experience with my brother. he bought the new model of range rover on wednesday 10 june 2020 . When he reach the show room to buy this car it the engine light on he let the sales person and manager too they said it is because of oil change. But when he is going home the car is engine noise they guys said we will fix for you tomorrow he was waiting for there call but no body call back to fix engine Afrer that i go to the showroom and left the car for fix the engine problem. The staff at MCL Motors were incredible! It’s easy to find people who are helpful when the sale hasn’t yet been made but what sets this company apart was the support after the sale was completed. My salesman, Amir, was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous... but more importantly to me, after the sale was completed he arranged follow up appointments to instruct me on the use of the vehicle, and contacted me to ensure the vehicle was meeting my needs. During this transaction, I interacted with six staff members and they were all outstanding. Amir however, has won my trust and my business. This dealership is the epitome of terrible customer service — it's 2020, take a lesson from Amazon and learn to treat your customers with respect. I had a Jaguar and not only was the customer service terrible but after being unhappy with my car in the middle of my lease and wanting to give in, the trade-in deal that was given to me was less than 50% of the actual value of the car at the time (if the car was actually worth 60k I was offered 30k), which not only seems like an unethical business practice but also another sign of MCL Motor Car's terrible customer service. Not once have I had a good experience when walking into that dealership and not to mention my father was also yelled at by the management, which makes me believe these malicious business practices are preached and taught throughout the organization by the top management.

My jaguar door was damaged. It took MCL motors almost 4 months to get the door back and I am still waiting for my car. Auto body shop and MCL Services Centre is giving such a hard time. Not getting any answer from anyone.Both parties are putting blame on each other. If Land rover/Jaguar can't get the parts here in timely manner then stop selling.. Whenever I asked anyone about the delay they keep blaming on the supplier for the parts.

Good sales but the phone rings and rings for the service department! Then finally when answered I say I have technical question then I'm hastly transferred where 'that' phone rings and rings, comes back to reception (I think) then goes back on the merry go round until I finally hang up. If everyone there is so darn busy I hate to ask my question for fear I won't get a well thought out answer and be told to spend a good part of my day to bring the car in and be charged shop rates to get that answer. I will need to consider this when I purchase my next car, because this does not work for me!

I purchased a 2016 McLaren 650s - great customer service from Robert Fan and Eric Law. AFTER THE PURCHASE, the put the vehicle through their shop and noted that it was due for a service. What did they do? They actually sent it to Paff, the McLaren dealer down the block and paid for a service to the tune of $3,500. I’ve never heard of a dealership doing that - they had no obligation whatsoever to do so. None. That is 100% customer oriented, gold star service. I’ve purchased many cars from many dealerships... this is unheard of and I’m very grateful.

This was my experience with MCL Motors/Jaguar Land Rover Vancouver 1730 Burrard St, Vancouver and it wasn’t very good. I brought my vehicle in November 2020 on an ICBC claim for a new front suspension and new front tire after I hit a curb. It took them 3 + weeks to look at my vehicle and assess the damage due to Covid they said (even though the service the department is open 6 days a week with no limited hours) I would call once or twice a week to try and get and get an update on my vehicle with lots of non-returned calls! When the person responsible for my vehicle would call me back... there would be various excuses on why it is taking so long. Fed up and preparing to leave town I called Dec 23 right before Christmas trying to get an answer and the gentleman said he had wrote my phone number down wrong and couldn’t get a hold of me to discuss my vehicle hence the delay. Even though he had called me before on the same number!? They then started to repair the vehicle. At this point, they had my car for over a month! 2 months later after returning home to Vancouver I was told my vehicle was ready and to come and pick it up. I show up at the dealership after giving them 48hrs notice of me coming in and they greeted me by saying they had found another issue with one of my tires that morning. The back right tire had "developed a bulge” the gentleman apologized and said they most likely missed it during the initial assessment or it got damaged while in storage. Either way I would be on the hook financially to fix it. What really upset me was at this point they had my car for 3 months at this point and elected to just now tell me. The icing on the cake was they didn’t even do a basic clean on my car that most dealerships do and my car was dirty when I left. Not very professional at all! I want to point out the lady who worked at the service desk was very nice and I do understand the struggles with the Covid pandemic but this is just really bad service overall. I’m still contemplating if this action is worth reporting to the Better Business Bureau of Canada or not?

Decent service and very helpful. Dont let the mcl brand fool you though; u have to be real forthright about what you are looking for but thus far for me it's been all good. When you have warranty then things flow like water. Customer service is very quick to respond and loaners provided. Quick emails and appointment reminders. Bought a car and had a trade in. Finance did not pay out my lien. Therefore, I am paying for two vehicles. Four payments already. So I emailed the finance lady Bo, she said she was going to fix the issue. She did not get back to me. So I called the bank and my lien was still not paid out. The lack of communication is horrible. I have not experienced that at a dealership before. I emailed the GM. Hopefully this will be straightened out. But still have not heard back from them.

I would advise anyone doing business with Land Rover Vancouver and MCL to be very weary of their leasing practices. They do not honor the signed lease and hit you with a huge undisclosed Lease Buyout Fee at the end of the contract. They tell you return the car or pay the fee, which you have no option to pay or you lose your car. They are extremely smug about it as they have you over a barrel as you can only buy the lease out through the Land Rover dealer. I am actually having to file through the vehicle ombudsman and the courts to get the terms of my lease upheld and the undisclosed fee returned. They actually believe people have no recourse when given the ultimatum above. With MCL there is no option to buyout your car as per the lease terms you have signed, they are only interested in deceiving their customers for profit. Right from the Vehicle Ombudsman website showing how offside MCL is: Stating that a consumer must pay for an inspection or any extra fees, when they do not, is a deceptive act.

I had spent over $100k in this dealer ship which is called MCL Moters. The dealer shop owns me 1000 dollar refund from the deposit to purchase a vehicle and they were supposed to refund the money right away it took me more than a month of chasing them and calling them everyday the manger of the dealer shop is named Dan and wouldn’t reply to my call after the several messages i have left. The financial officer named Bo Seeto told me the cheque has been mailed and made me run around and they have never mailed any payment the only person who answered the phone is Jane was nice to reply the calls and request the manager to refund the money finally i sent an email to take this mater to media and take legal action and they refunded me today. When i purchases the vehicle last month i have been given a certified draft to purchase the vehicle they have kept my draft for two weeks before the transfer of the lease buyout this is unethical and unprofessional and a dirty dealer shop i will never shop again in this dealer which is called MCL please go to any other dealer to purchase a new vehicle dont trust this management they are all crockets the only good people their are the sales people.

I received lots of updates, from Jason in the Service Department - I had a last minute issue that needed to be looked at due to a road trip the following Tuesday, called Jason at the end day Friday and got me in first thing Monday morning, they quickly diagnosed the problem. The part not not on hand, they, flew it in and by 1pm Tuesday it was good to go, as promised! Jason, went over and above in that we were talking about my road trip, he called me on Wednesday to check in to be sure everything was fine, and it was. This showed me that they really cared about customer satisfaction, full 10/10, I would have no reservations on recommending MCL service department. Thanks Jason!

By far the best luxury car dealership in the lower mainland. Staff are friendly and personable, professional but not afraid to joke around with you. My sales consultant Sara spent an entire day with me and helped me choose the right car for me, something I'm not used to with other brands. Sales people don't forget you when you walk out the door and personally come to your home to pick up the car should something go wrong. Service reps remember details about you and always go the extra mile on products and services and most of all they are honest. If something goes wrong they fix it fast and correctly the first time and appointments are always available around my schedule. I've bought three vehicles from MCL and will continue to do so - I'd never shop anywhere else.

I bought a car recently from this company, which was a Range Rover SVR. The sale person sold that car to me with the engine light on, I noticed that right away and told them, but they said it was because of oil change. one of their mechanics checked it and said it was alright and that I could take it home, but when I was driving home on the highway it was shaking a lot. Then I emailed them that the car was shaking a lot and they said that they would pick it up and drop off a car for me to use in the mean time. The next day I waited for a call from them, but they never called me back and it seemed like they didn’t care about the car. I emailed them and sent them so many messages, but they didn’t reply to anything. So I had to take a day off from work and go to the dealership myself. They checked the car and then said their was a fuel injector problem. They said they would hand me the car back on the next day and since then it’s been almost half a week and I still haven’t received my car. So therefore this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car company

Never buy a new car from here. Horrible customer service and a the vehicles have issues. Got a new Land Rover velar, within two weeks the monitor started to flicker. Sent the car for repair once and they could not fix it. Sent it back again and they are still unable to resolve the issue. Buyers beware ! Land Rover in Richmond is a great alternative option.

Horrible experience, rude and arrogant management team, they actually made a false insurance claim on my behalf. My car was taken to MCL motors for an issue that was later reported as a water pump problem. My car was in the shop for 5 weeks and after I received the car, I noticed an extra charge related to a damage to one of the rims. I knew there was absolutely no damage on my rim so I asked for proof. The MCL employee told me that he found the scratch on the rim when he did the walk-around inspection when my car arrived at their location and he took pictures with the company iPad. I asked to see the photo and after many follow-ups, they finally sent me a photo that clearly didn't belong to my car. I confronted them and he simply texted me back saying he doesn't work at the company anymore and stopped responding to me. I kept following up with MCL regarding this issue and the management team refused to provide any clear explanations on how and why the false claim was made. I followed up with the insurance company directly and finally discovered that they submitted a false claim. As a result of this false claim, the insurance company has now started a new procedure to call and double-check the details of the claim with each client before finalizing any claim made by this dealership. At last, the MCL dealership responded to one of my emails, informing me that they have "fixed" the claim. I asked for the proof ( a new service receipt of service ) and they refused to provide me with a new invoice to show that the false claim has been removed. I strongly believe that MCL has violated its implied duty of good faith and fair dealing in our contract.

He is the most honest and knowledgeable individual I have ever dealt with in the auto industry. Because of this, he builds the utmost trust of his customers and that results in repeat buying and loyalty to the brand. Jason is a huge asset to MCL, Land Rover, and Jaguar. On that point as well, we have owned Mercedes, BMW, and Audi vehicles over the years and we have never experienced such fantastic full cycle experience as we have with MCL Motors. DO NOT GO In all honestly it pains me to write a review such as this. The sales team is wonderful, and many of them are friends of mine. However, their business office manager ERIC LAW, incompetent, arrogant, his attitude is completely vile and inconsiderate of the customer. Needed to do a lease transfer messed up my application 3 times, had to spend time to come down to the dealer 3 times to resign papers. Today was the third day. He lied to his peers and to his superiors saying that he called me about the mistake and apologized to me personally. He never contacted me EVER. When i was in the dealer his attitude was sloppy and arrogant. He said and I quote " It's a mistake, it is what it is, are you going to sign and get this done or what? If you think its my fault then sure, it is my fault". Not a signal word of apology for wasting my time. Messing up the paper work and not feel a slight bit of shame as a industry professional. It is a sign of sloppy management, and more over i feel insulted. I'm buying a car not a cabbage. Of all the other dealers i have dealt in town, never in my life have i been treated with such arrogance. The company MCL along with 4 wonderful luxury brands that MCL represents ought to feel ashamed about such conduct by its employee. and having someone like him to represent the brands which have built its reputation for a century of time. Its a damn shame.

The worst of all time. STAY AWAY..... Brought my S type Jag for a new key and it ended up costing me $1300 which I foolishly paid. The car now has trouble starting even after they replaced the ignition barrel and exciter ring. To which they said had to be replaced for the new key to work. I took the car to an independent and he replaced the PCM relay for $28 and the car is fine. These guys are professional rip off artists. stay away away away

Recently purchased a pre owned Volkswagen Golf Wagon from this dealership and I must say my experience was nothing short of amazing. My first contact was with Mark Petriw, he took care of me as if I was buying the most expensive Bentley on the lot when in fact I was probably purchasing the cheapest vehicle in the dealership. He was dedicated, attentive and just down right friendly.
