Ensign Pacific Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is the third Jeep dealership I've gone to for servicing since I bought my Jeep in 2017. I can say, without a doubt, that this dealership is by far thee best one. The staff were courtesy, knowledgeable, helpful, polite & professional. I can't say the same about the other two. In fact, I would not ever recommend those other two dealerships but would 100% recommend Ensign. They are also the only dealership/service department that washed my Jeep after servicing & actually took the time to show me diagrams with their explanations as to what they found during service. UPDATE: Two months after purchasing the vehicle there was just under $2000 worth of repairs. According to another Dodge dealer these repairs should have been avoided through a proper vehicle check before I purchased the vehicle. The extended warranty I purchased covered some of it, the rest I had to pay for. After many calls and correspondence Ensign did eventually reimburse me. However, it was a stressful and unpleasant experiences, and I never received an apology from Ensign. In hindsight I have learnt that the Ensign vehicle checks are next to useless, and once you drive off the lot, they really don't care too much about you. The experience has left a very sour taste. I won't ever recommend Ensign, or use them myself. It has made me think twice about purchasing from a dealer. Official dealers are meant to be a safer way of buying a used car, but not in this case. If I had purchased privately I would have paid for my own vehicle checks and avoided this issue. If a dealer can't offer support, then what's the point? Lesson learned for me. Ensign do a great job on the surface, but overall this was a huge disappointment, a huge stress that impacted my work, and huge negative for Dodge, Ensign Pacific, and "official" car dealerships. I have zero faith in the ability of their mechanics and vehicle checks, and zero faith in their post-sale customer service. I would strongly suggest people look into independent vehicle checks before buying from them. Original review: Recently purchased a Grand Caravan from Tom at Ensign. The vehicle was in excellent condition, as described, and the service I received was excellent. Tom's communication, and his manager Allan was fantastic. Quick responses on email, and excellent supply of documentation. The process of buying was efficient, with a professional and smooth experience you'd expect from a reputable dealer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tom, Allan, or Ensign, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back there myself. I made the journey from North Vancouver Island, it was worth the effort. Tragic experience. Lack of competence was negligent, darn near criminal. Took a week to replace an alternator. They installed the wrong one, twice. Sent me on my way over $700 later only to find myself stranded at 11,000' in a Colorado blizzard. Lo and behold the alternator was incompatible. Had to have it replaced. Not convinced the alternator was the problem in the first place, but it sure was after these guys were finished with it. Was content to let it be water under the bridge, bygones be bygones and whatnot, but then I get a personally addressed letter from them in the mail. The contents? Advertisements. Junk mail. Really guys? This day and age? Abusing customers' personal information for environmentally unfriendly self-promotion? Please take me off your mailing list, emailing list...bloody everything. I will not have any further use for your services.

Stay away from this place !! Cam Collins does not care about new clients and will demand everything short of a blood sample to let you take his used vehicles for nothing more than a 15 min test drive. Who decides they want to buy a vehicle in 15 min? Absolute biased and discriminatory management and they don’t seam to even trust their own salespeople. Stay Away !!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE! I was sold a vehicle with only 49,000 km on it from a man named Peter Pang. After only having it for 10 months it now needs a full new engine. I took it to a mechanic where they informed me that a "quick fix" had been done to hide the issue and then sold to me. When I reached out to Peter in hopes of having the issue rectified by his mechanics he told me he would not fix the issue ONLY 10 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE!!! He also would not tell me where he had the car serviced so I could talk to them myself after the fact!

I had a 2003 Jeep TJ that broke down on the highway so I got it towed to Ensign. I told them that my father had always done the maintenance on it but he was sick and passed away a week prior to my car breaking down and that this was the first time I was ever getting someone else to look at it and that I wasn't sure of the process etc. They told me that it would be nearly 3,000 dollars to fix and that it wasn't worth it and that they would give me 500 dollars for my Jeep. They charged me almost 600 dollars for them to briefly look at it and I told them that I would not be using them to fix my car and that I wanted it back in my possession. I brought it to a repair shop that BCAA recommend and it cost me under 200 dollars to replace the thermostat and they said that was the only thing wrong with it. I then sold my Jeep for 12,000 dollars.

I have tried more than a few car dealerships and was always appalled by their aggressive high-pressure sales techniques. Lucky for me I came to Ensign Pacific downtown and met George Paul. I immediately felt comfortable talking to him, and loved the fact that he was very calm,courteous and professional. I am not an easy costumer(I admit) as I always ask a bunch of questions and want to know all the options that are presented to me, and George was helpful with everything I had in mind,including emails in 10pm. I had an appalling experience this past week at Ensign Pacific Chrysler. I called this dealership to see if they could switch the locks from my half-doors to the full doors. They quoted me 45 min per door over the phone. I brought in the Jeep- they looked at it and told me they needed to order in a $30 part for each of the doors. This seemed reasonable for my older 1997 Jeep TJ. They proceeded to re-assemble the door (improperly, so the lock didn’t work) and said they would call when the part was in. After a week of waiting, driving around with an unlocked jeep (they said that it would be four days) I called to see if the part was in, and they said it was, but they couldn’t get me an appointment for another week. Ensign finally got my jeep in a week later. After two and-a-half hours of not hearing anything, I called to see where they were at with my jeep. I was told that they had only done the driver’s side door, because they were busy, and if I would mind if they kept it overnight. They assured me that I wouldn’t be charged more than I was originally quoted- they were just backed-up with other cars. A little annoyed, but not with much choice, I agreed to let Ensign keep it overnight, as long as they would be done by noon (I needed it to get to work). Hearing nothing by 12:30 the next day, I called and they said that they still hadn’t gotten to the passenger side door, but if I needed it, I could come pick it up and book in the other door later. The lady also causally mentioned that my bill was currently at around $700 because they had already spent seven hours on it. But if I wanted the other door done, I would be billed at the full $120 an hour, but it would probably only take four hours, as the techs had figured out how to do it. I asked to speak to the Service Manager (Will), as I had been speaking to a few different service reps, and they all were pointing fingers at each other. The Service Manager was unable to tell me what took the techs seven hours, why I had been so improperly quoted and why I hadn’t been called to inform me about the situation before they went ahead with that work. The Service Manager said that he was willing to only bill $385.00, but that the other door was in pieces, and that I would have to pay to have them put it back together to its original state and that it would take hours of additional labour. After half a day of going around in circles, and multiple calls back and forth with no more answers given, I called the General Manager Donald. I explained to Donald the miscommunication between departments, the lack of communication with me throughout the process and the general experience that I had so far with his team. He was silent, took my number, said that he was going to call a meeting with the Service Manager and techs and get back to me. I said that I would appreciate if they would get back to me quickly, as I had now been without a vehicle for two nights on account of their techs being busy, and the cab/car-to-go bills were getting high. Nobody from Ensign ever called me back. Furious with the experience and that throughout the whole process, I had given them the benefit of the doubt because they are a new dealership. I was overly accommodating and understanding, knowing the industry and the growing pains of a new dealership. I picked up my Jeep, paid the $367.67 on the invoice. I left with mismatched doors and my newly cannibalized full-sized spare door (they seem to have harvested the parts for the drivers-side). I gave ample opportunity for this dealership to make this experience right before making this public, but nothing was done. I took my Jeep to the dealership because I assumed I could trust the work and their word. Instead, I experienced the kind of service synonymous with a greasy used car lot; not a dealership representing the Chrysler brand in downtown Vancouver. Save yourself the aggravation and money- go to another Chrysler Dealership in the Lower Mainland.

I booked an appointment and brought the car for a minor issue (remotes and headphones for the car entertainment don't work correctly), and they made me wait for 90min and then told me they did not have the time to address the problem and book another appointment instead. Also, we had an issue with daycare this morning so I brought my 5-years-old with me, he sat nicely on a chair on watched cartoons on my phone for the whole time, he was quiet and did not annoy anyone. THE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME I SHOULD NOT HAVE BROUGHT MY SON. I have never seen such an unprofessional behaviour at a dealership. First time in my life.

I recently purchased a brand new vehicle here after having no connection to this dealership and having never been to it. I called Ensign to do some price checking and was redirected to one of the sales staff - Allan. He was so genuine and a real throwback to a day when people just connected and spoke plainly. He provided no pressure whatsoever and actually just wanted to help me find a vehicle that was right for me. Well after buying vehicles every few years from the same dealership, I decided to buy from Al and am so happy I did. He gave me an excellent deal and a real old-school, we're both members of the same community experience and I 100% recommend this dealership for anyone that is tired of feeling like a commodity or dealing with high pressure corporate sales types.

Waste 3 hours of my time caused by their sleazy sales tactics! Came down to the dealership and was handed a stuck of papers. To my surprise the last page was the ICBC report - the vehicle had 6 collision claims in the last 3 years worth almost $8k. There was nothing in their ad about it, nor they ever mentioned anything during my 2 calls with them. When they saw that I wasn't too happy about the fact that they hid it the sales manager came out to "introduce" himself. Probably not the first and not the last time he had to introduce to contain the unpleasant situation caused by their scheming. Never again I will set my foot at this dealer and advice others to take their business somewhere else!

Tried getting information on ordering a particular part that is special order. This means i cannot return the part. The parts advisor could not tell me what I needed to know. He didn’t even try to get me an answer, he told me that it doesn’t say anything about what I needed to know. He came off as lazy and not wanting to do his job. He made me uncomfortable asking questions. I called another Jeep dealer and It took the parts advisor some time but he got me an answer. Never coming to this location for parts. Go to another Jeep dealer instead.

Very poor service. Sent my car in for service and a steering part changed. Nearly lost control of the car going home. Had to bring it back again and again. One time I left the car there for 2 days and it was never looked at. Ended up something else needed to be fixed. Car was worse after a service than before. For what should of been a simple service, turned out to be an expensive experience. Car still is not correct. Would avoid at all costs.

Brought my vehicle in for a recall, there was an issue with my dashboard indicator lights after, I explained over the phone exactly what light wouldn’t go out and they asked if I would come in and they would look at it. As soon as they looked at it they said nope that’s from the update and there’s nothing they can do to change it back, fine but they wasted my whole afternoon for something they could have told me over the phone. These guys don’t do their homework, don’t let them waste your time too!

We had a pretty tall order- trade in our used SUV for two 'like-new', yet more economical vehicles (and with specific colours, makes, price point). Well, Al came through in spades. i wish there was an option to put zero stars. where do i start! THIS DEALERSHIP DOES NOT STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SELL, i bought a 2017 jeep wrangler (demo model) with 10,000kms. when we test drove the vehicle it had a known transmission issue which lead it to pop out of reverse (standard vehicle). the sales man George said not to worry the dealership would look after it by having a tech check everything over, we were told that there was nothing wrong with it. bought the vehicle, got it home and within the first day it continued to pop out of reverse. i called ensign to take it in to have it fixed, i was then told that ensign didnt have a transmission tech on staff so i would have to take it somewhere else (who the hell checked out this vehicle prior to me purchasing it???) now i am without MY vehicle for 4 months. while the parts this jeep needs are on back order. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEY TELL YOU, ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY all you are to this dealership is a dollar sign once you buy it... you literally own it! garbage or not! -Brooklyn S.

I had an over heating issue with my Dodge Journey and I pulled into Ensign Pacific Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at about 6PM Tuesday Sept 18. I met George Paul the company sales and leasing consultant. Service and parts had gone for the day. George and I discussed the problem and we thought the best plan of action to get me back on the road was to go to Canadian Tire and stock up on engine coolant. George very kindly took time away from his job and drove me to pick up the coolant. This is out standing service and a person who really cares about his customers. I dealt with Allan Rudin and he was great. I have had sketchy dealings with dealers in the past and I'm mistrustful. Everyone was up front and honest, and took time to explain everything in detail as I needed it, no sly moves. All the pricing worked out to MSRP as advertised online and we were given fair value on our trade in. I would definitely do business with them again. Buying a car should not be a grinding and stressful experience, your spending big money and it should be a happy time getting into a new vehicle.

We booked an appointment for oil change two weeks in advance for our Jeep. We came in on time and turned in our vehicle at 11:00 a.m. on time. The guy from the store told us it would take around an hour and would call us when it’s done. We didn’t hear from them afterward. When we shown up in the store at 15:00 p.m. we were told they haven’t started yet since they are very busy today. 4 hours! Nothing was done. And they didn’t even have the thoughts of telling us they are not able to finish the job on time. They just postpone the work and promise they will do it immediately when we physically at the counter. What’s the point of making an appointment if you cannot keep it. The entire day was wasted thanks to them. We chose this place due to it’s reputation of professionalism and we are extremely disappointed. This would be the last time we use their services.

A water leak was detected, a quote provided and my vehicle was repaired and ready for pick up by mid afternoon the same day. It couldn’t have possibly went more smoothly.

i asked the mechanic that how much brakes are remaining on my vehicle , he said 4mm , i went to another mechanic we took a look at my brakes, they were like new, this guyz just want to charge you money, they are doing froud estimation to charge money form customers.... i complained , and they just told we will not send you email about maintenance, ... i have old brakes as proof. i can go to consumer court..

I took my vehicle in for a service & they do a vehicle checkup. On their vehicle checklist they checked everything good. I had 2 burnt out headlights & all my fluids & tire pressure were low. When I called the service department to make them aware of what was going on I was basically called a liar & talked to like garbage. I was a loyal customer but now I will not go back there, I don't trust them

The car was initially purchased elsewhere and is being now sold by another dealer too, but she still spent time, did a search in Chrysler database and even took care of a exrended warranty transfer which is all set now for me as a new owner. Excellent service and understanding, very fast too. Very glad I talked to her today. Thank you!

I bought a Jeep Renegade here two years ago. After the sale was complete, the salesperson asked me for a ride to the skytrain and I agreed.. no problem! They asked me for a google review on the ride to the train, which I agreed to. Once again, no problem! I would be happy to. After I agreed to write a review, they told me I was "really hot," which I found to be very unprofessional and to be honest, it made me very uncomfortable. Fast forward to this January: I had been having minor problems with my Jeep since I bought it. I finally had some time in my busy schedule to get it dealt with so I phoned up Pacific Ensign and was connected to the service department to make an appointment. The person who I spoke with on the phone was not outright rude but very curt. I had a list of problems I needed addressed and the person on the phone kept cutting me off and trying to end the conversation before I was even halfway through. It was very frustrating. Finally when I had told them everything, we scheduled an appointment and I was told that I would get a loaner car to drive while mine was in the shop. I was rushed off the phone before I even had a chance to ask any more questions. When I came in for my appointment, I was asked by the person at the desk why I was bringing my car in. I told them I had gave the list to the person scheduling my appointment on the phone. I guess the phone person never bothered to make a note of the issues I discussed with them at length. Once again I told the person at the desk all the issues. Once again they seemed very disinterested and kept rushing me and talking over me. When I told them I had the extended warranty, they insisted I didn't. Not once did they even bother to look my vehicle up or ask me to see the paper work. I even asked if they could search it and they just kept insisting that my warranty was up. I was under 90000 km at the time and guess what? My warranty is good until 160000. When it came time to pick my car up, I dealt with a different person at the front desk who actually was friendly and LISTENED to me. He was awesome! Unfortunately it seems the person who I dealt with when I dropped my car off didn't bother to write down what was actually wrong with my car (AGAIN) so only one problem on my whole list of concerns was addressed. They also gave me an oil change that I didn't ask for. Although I appreciated the oil change, I would have liked to be consulted before they just went ahead and did the work. I called their office about my experience twice and the person on the phone didn't seem to care and didn't take any sort of action both times.... Surprise surprise! Don't waste your time here! Obviously the Pacific Ensign way is to screw customers out of their money and throw them out the door ASAP. I have taken my business to Nanaimo Chrysler instead... They are rockstars! Came here for service. Booked appointment 3 weeks out and still had to wait 2 hours for an oil change. Nice staff . My car was washed with some missed spots and vacuumed. Lounge has free coffee and tea. Parking is a pain with triangular lot but I always find a spot.

Made the mistake of being in a rush when visiting Ensign the first time to figure out an almost new SUV. Great service but could not get it all done in the time I had alotted myself, so I missed an important meeting. Imho I waited 30 minutes too long.... now it's March 2018.... the wait was worth it! I finally bought a new/used Ford Titanium SUV 3 months ago. I am super happy with the car and the service. I went there thinking to replace my old Honda Van as my daughter needs room for music equip. George Paul was my salesguy. I wanted to get her a newer model van, and she wanted an older Jeep model, which was a standard tranny. She has a bad knee so I felt the standard was not a good idea for her. I was going for the Odyssey. George really listened to our needs, and knew every vehicle in detail. He took us straight to the SUV that suited us perfect. Really happy with the service. Very fast and considerate. I got an extra full warranty to relieve any unforeseen issues. Plus they found me winter tires at a deal a week after my purchase. 3 months later and George still answers any questions I have on the vehicle. My advice: check the warranty on any used car and buy extra for peace of mind. It's worth it. Will never use another salesguy other than George.

Nothing but negative things to say about the service department. Have had two separate appointments where I have left the truck with them all day. After two full days without my vehicle the engine light it is still on. Zero updates given throughout the day until I called them thinking the truck is ready for pick up. Not to mention a mistake was made where they mixed my truck up with another and then instead of fixing it, they sent me on my way having me have to call them back asking why two tires on the right have been rotated and the air pressures where left as is. Driving around with 50/80 in the front and 80/50 in the rear, with the TPMS light on. All in all, was charged 500 bucks for a solution that didn't fix the problem, and then quoted another 500 for what they think it might be now. Most unprofessional place I have ever been.
