Found a little electric fiat these fine folks were importing recently. Although I prefer to have hands on any vehicle purchase I make James did an excellent job of documenting everything he could about the vehicle I ended up buying. Whole process took a few weeks from initially speaking to James and the team at Dueck until the car was delivered and ready for the road out of province but overall I was impressed with the customer oriented mindset the staff put forward. Was a pleasure dealing with James on the fiat (very knowledgeable) and Amanda in finance. Highly reccomend and will be back if they find another one of a kind vehicle. Thanks everyone.

I just bought a Fiat 500 electric from Dueck and it was such a pleasant experience, particularly after my previous experience with the Mercedes dealership on Boundary road. It was so bad that I did not want to own a car again anytime soon and therefore lived car free for over a couple of years once my lease was up. But Dueck changed that for me! From the moment I contacted Kim I felt that she was taking care of me. She was extremely friendly and never made me feel like she was trying to oversell anything or to overcharge. Everyone that I interacted with there including the staff at the service department gave me a similar impression. They are not salesy at all. I felt very comfortable with my purchase throughout the process. Even after the purchase, Kim continued taking care of me by making various arrangements with the services staff to deal with some little issues here and there. I love my new Fiat. Leased a Chevy Cruze for 4 years and the headaches never stopped. In fact they got worse when I returned it. They seem to have no correspondence with GM Financial. Both sides accuse the other of not doing their jobs, meanwhile I’m the one chasing both sides down so they can exchange the proper documentation. I reminded them that my lease was up and it wasn’t my car anymore but that didn’t seem to matter to them. I was hung up on by someone named Alison. It’s the blind leading the blind there. When the questions or problems are simple, sure they can provide an answer with a confident smile. When it requires them to do anything more than the bare minimum, they become completely useless. I will never deal with the GM brand again. I will strongly encourage anyone me close to me to not do business with them. I strongly encourage you save yourself the headache and do the same.

Within 12 hours of my on line inquiry I received an email from sales associate Daniel who invited me into meet with him, view and test drive the vehicle that I had in mind. Not only did Daniel go above and beyond my expectations when I arrived, he stayed late, gave me a fair trade in for my existing car and ended up selling me the BMW! I was very appreciative of Daniel reaching out to me as quickly as he did as I had contacted two other dealerships regarding BMWs and only one returned my inquiry(and that was over a week later). Being relatively new to the area, I've sometimes resorted to the nearest dealership for small repairs when I don't have time to resort to research. After bringing in my truck for a simple engine light check, let alone the absurd $150 cost just to tell me what the light was on for, the serviceman proceeded to attempt to sell me on every little issue which may need improving with my vehicle, whether related to the engine light or not. After picking out the issues which actually needed repair, I was still surprised with additional costs that were included in the invoice without disclosure during the previous conversation (+$220 in additional costs), let alone the absurd price of going to any dealership to begin with. These issues aside, the real purpose of this awful review was the word given that they had done a walk around of the basic check-up list items, and telling me everything looked fine. Little do I expect to find myself a week later with another list of serious repairs involving my brakes, rotors and calipers that could have been very dangerous with the amount of driving I regularly do around the province . I find it very hard to believe that despite finding every little issue to do with the internal mechanics of my truck, they failed to notice the condition of one of the most basic parts of a vehicle, let alone them informing me that they had done the basic check list. Not normally being a fan of dealerships, this only cemented that opinion, especially given the experience with this specific location.

I wanted to extend a thank you to Enzo who made our car buying experience a fantastic one. Enzo was courteous, patient, Knowledgeable and overall fantastic from start to finish. During the delivery process he explained all features and made sure the car was to perfection before i drove away. Shortly after delivery we had an issue with one of the door locks not working and had to bring it in for service. We were directed to Sabrina D in the service department. She was knowledgeable, courteous and quick to deliver the car back to us so we can get back to enjoying our 2018 trax. They even washed the car for us which was fantastic and even got out some sticky residue that was on the inside of the car. We have bought a truck from Dueck Downtown and they helped get the accessories installed for it. The service department is top notch. I just purchased a 2017 Silverado from James Brennan. I was on a budget and had very specific requests when it came to options (model, trim, color, accessories, etc.). After striking out at another dealership, I decided to give Dueck Downtown a try and James was able to source me exactly the truck I was looking for within my budget. He even personally delivered it to me (I am 2hrs outside of the city) on a Friday evening of a long weekend so I didn't have to miss a shift at work! Totally unexpected, much appreciated. This is the most amazing dealership and auto repair place i ever dealt with.i was having issues with an impound lot. But they towed me to dueck downtown because they had a lift strong enough to lift my f350. These guys held my truck for 3 days and informed me i needed to do certain things to pasd bc inspection. So they held my vehicle for 3 days for no cost they called in an insurance person so i could get my truck to my mechanic. Sadly as most dealers, they are very good at the beginning and then completely drop off. They included only 4 oil changes that I was assured would last 2 years. Funny, it's 13 months later and had 4 oil changes according to vehicle oil life monitor. They ripped me off and. charged me for 4th oil change. Go somewhere more honest

Ended up getting a used Malibu from Kimberly Kim. She was kind and quirky and really opposite to other dealers we went to. She was able to get us a great price on the car. The dealership is nicely laid out and clean, and it speaks to their attention to detail. Car prices are reasonable as well. Even when purchasing a car, we were not pressured with warranties and they even setup an appointment to fix the small blemish that we noticed on the car.

Booked a pre-purchase inspection for 930 on a Saturday. Was told that there were no later appointments.Got an email the night before, confirming that time. Showed up with the seller at 930 and was told that they wouldn't look at it until 2 pm because there weren't enough staff on. What is the point of an appointment if you're going to delay by 5 hours? Also, charged me for shop supplies...what shop supplies do you use doing an inspection? Overall, a frustrating experience. Would not recommend. Update: I was contacted by Blair (below) who spoke with me and agreed to send me a partial rebate, which I appreciated. I'm increasing my rating to reflect how they subsequently dealt with a bit of a rough start.

I will give it a Zero star if I could because of that Josh (I think that's what I heard when he was introduced by the one who met us first in the reception). My husband and I were INVITED to visit Dueck (Terminal) and they want to appraise our car for a trade-in offer. Although we have no interest to buy a new car, we were convinced and set an appointment. I don't know if the caller is an agent but we are advised to look for the sales manager once we're there. We went today and we were not brought to the manager but instead to a person named Josh (if I remember right). I hope he's not the actual manager, I'd feel sorry for the business. He asked if we wanted to trade-in our car or if we are we are just looking before it is appraised. Upon learning that we are not yet buying because we wanted to have it appraised first (as what we were invited for), he told us he CAN ONLY give us a ballpark figure. He took out his cellphone and search or google for the on-going price in the market (maybe using auto-trader app or other app). WE DIDN'T GO there to have an agent search online for the price. We know how to use the internet and we can do it ourselves at home, if that was the case. IT"S INSULTING! OUR TIME WAS WASTED (on a weekend) just to meet someone who obviously not a good sales agent or staff because he doesn't know how to treat a customer. If he's good, he can try to convince us or at least do a soft sell because we are already a Chevrolet owner. He wasted an opportunity! We would understand if he's talking to other people but we have an appointment and there are only 3-4 people inside the showroom and they are even seated. Maybe the head or owner of this dealership should consider to set a higher standard in hiring sales agents. In any business, customer service is vital in its success. Good sales skills are important for the frontline of the business and in most sales job, you earn by commission.. For anybody who will read this, just be aware of our experience or if you really want to buy from Dueck- Terminal, make sure you DON"T deal with that Josh, look for somebody else. They have other agents there, for sure.

We were in the market for a cheap but reliable second car for work. We spent an entire day driving from lot to lot and were ready to make a deal. We visited auto malls, independent dealers, etc, but just couldn't find the right car or the right salesman to close the deal. When we first drove into the Dueck lot, we parked at the back end where most of the cars had not been serviced or cleaned - TBH we were turned off and I started to drive away. My wife asked what car we were there to see (which I hadn't remembered) so we parked, I looked at my app, and we decided to at least go inside and have a look at the car since we had driven there. Once we got inside, it was a whole new ballgame. The dealership is huge, clean, and beautiful. The "nice" cars were all in front and on the opposite side of the lot, so my first impression was very inaccurate. We met with Al Bahrami who was completely awesome. Great guy, ready to make a deal, and very professional. Once we agreed on price, we came back several days later to close the deal. We then met with Amanda to make our final payment and discuss the warranty. We hadn't planned to purchase an extended warranty since the car was only a few years old, however, the low cost for a bumper to bumper warranty was well worth it -- only a couple thousand for a bumper to bumper 6 year warranty. Amanda never attempted to hard sell us, she was very patient and lovely, and it was a very positive experience. Then we met with Dawn for insurance (ICBC), yet another positive experience. Once insurance was completed, we chose our plates, the car was cleaned and fully fueled, and we were on our way. Words cannot express my satisfaction and happiness over this experience. My wife and I were so happy we didn't just leave the lot when we first got there. We've bought many cars and this was by far the best experience we've ever had. This team is quick, efficient, VERY friendly, and there are no high pressure sales tactics. The car was presented to us in immaculate condition. This is a place you can TRUST when purchasing or financing an automobile. The fact is this... we’ve heard of shady dealerships , band aid pop up shops offering a car with or without credit. DO NOT go that route ... a few years ago, I financed a car from one of those and had more problems with my 2018 Hyundai Elantra then if I would have purchased through a proper dealership that is credited by the industry. Example: GM - Ford - Dodge not a small pop up shop with just a name anyone can acquire.... there isn’t a sales person running your credit , there is a FINANCIAL Department, I thought TD approved my loan it must be good , when in fact this dealership slapped make up on my new Hyundai and off I went. As said a bloody nightmare and nothing this dealership or even Hyundai could do.... NOW that said and my advice given - DUECK Gm in Vancouver not just offered me stellar service, but a full warranty and safe purchase all the way around. My salesman Zlatko was outstanding! He told me how it is, didn’t just say take this or that but found me exactly what I was looking for .... when we decided to do numbers start to finish (insurance included) it took us 1.45 hours and complete. Arrived at 3 and left by 6 with exactly what I wanted ... no harassing phone calls trying to get me to come in , no pressure and it helped bring that trust back I had been lacking these last few years after a horrific nightmare with a pop up car dealership ... I am over the moon excited and even more at ease knowing my sons and I are safe and no matter what taken care of for the next 5 years. If I ever decide to purchase another vehicle I would t go anywhere else but back to Zlatko at DUECK GM , Vancouver. Thank you sooooooo much for everything and Amanda your a true woman of empowerment another employee that took care of my needs. We just got a 2015 Chevy Volt from Kimberly Kim. Peter, Mac and Amanda are extremely nice to deal with and the whole experience was nothing but great. Kim was very nice and quick to solve any problem we had. The car prices are quite reasonable, and we never felt pressured with warranties the way they do at other dealerships. The whole process was quick and painless. What an awesome experience! Zlatko in sales made myself, two kids and VERY pregnant wife feel super welcome and not pressured upon arrival. He knew his product well and helped us into our next ride that was clearly made ready for its new home with a perfect detail, full service and fuel tank. A shout out to the manager on duty (a seasoned veteran who was a cool cat and doled out ZERO bs while appraising our trade car. His name is eluding me as I write this post, sorry!) Then Amanda in the Biz Office made it a walk in the park to get the right loan at prime. :) To top it off, Zlatko put the icing on the cake by bringing the car out to our home the day after finalizing the numbers and financing, because we had delivered a baby girl over night! I brought my business here through a living social oil change coupon. Pros: -They washed and vacuumed my car and it looks great! -They were able to answer some questions I had about battery life and were honest about pricing and did not charge me any extras. -The location is conveniently centrally located. Cons: -The service center is poorly marked and was confusing to find -The 3 staff inside were indifferent and unprofessional (when I arrived on time for my appointment they were all eating and still clearing food from their face as we talked). -Information provided by the call center didn't match what the attendant said was included in my service. -I was told the service could take 2+ hours! -When I tried to confirm the specific synthetic oil spec'd for my vehicle, the attendant brushed me off instead of taking the courtesy of confirming with me the exact oil that would be going into MY car. -After the service was complete, the report of inspection points (part of the service I paid for) was not provided to me, despite having requested it when I initially arrived. The attendant had to go try to find it which left me feeling unsure that it was actually completed during my service or just quickly filled out to appease me (were any of the points actually inspected??). -The attendants mumbled something under their breath to one another right infront of me after I stated my frustration with the above point. -When I went to leave I was not guided in any way toward my vehicle (no verbal directions, no simple gesture toward what part of the lot it was in) so I walked back in.. the attendant, now very agitated, asked for my keys and then condescendingly used my fob to locate it for me in the lot and walked away. Needless to say, I will never be back to this location and suggest new customers avoid at all costs. These people have never had a day of customer service training in their life! One of the most unprofessional environments I've ever experienced.

Was trying to purchase seat covers and some protective lining for my vehicle. Got paired up with Sean from parts. Took me about 2 days to actually start talking business as he didn’t return my calls. I left voice messages as I was trying to get this completed by the end of the week, and he didn’t return one of them. I only called back after being left hanging for two days because this dealership was the only one I could find where I could get everything in one place. Sean was incredibly condescending and didn’t have patience for me. He didn’t once give me a quote for the seat covers he was about for order for me, and when I asked him for a quote he said he would have to put the order in first to get the final price (I was just asking for a quote). I told him I would order the seat covers myself because of this and the fact that he was trying to sell me the most expensive seat covers. After cancelling my seat cover inquiry, he asked if I still wanted to purchase the floor liners. When I asked him how much they were (I was busy and didn’t have time to write it down when he previously told me), he replied with “I just told you”. That was what ended our conversation, as I figured I would take my business elsewhere with someone who has more patience. Also, he interrupted our conversation and was arguing with someone else in his office while I sat by on the line and had to listen to the whole thing. Incredibly unprofessional.

I bought a new 2021 Suburban, a few technical issues arose after 3 months including engine light on, break system warming etc. Made appointment with their service department 10 days in advance, reconfirmed the day before my appointment too to have a car ready when I bring it in. On the day of appointment, there was no car at the promised time. Completly wasted one day of my busy schedule ( the whole pont of buying a new car every 2 to 3 years)Brought the issue up with service manager, and received a rude and non apologetic respond. WARNING! If you are looking to purchase a new vehicle I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Dueck does not stand behind their products and provides the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I normally would never write a review but feel completely lost and disappointed with the service I've received. After spending months of researching and visiting different dealerships I decided to purchase my new vehicle from Dueck and was very happy with the service. But sadly this didn't last long. The customer service I received when purchasing my vehicle was very different then the service I received when I had issues with my truck. I got my 2015 GM Sierra 6 months ago and have already brought it in 5 times. Everything from ignition issues, electric and safety including a power outage while driving. The last trip in left my truck with a scratch and dent on the door. Which they had the nerve to tell me came in that way. Later saying they would fix it. Although I'm still waiting for this to happen. One of the things GM and Dueck pride themselves on is there warranty policy, but should you really need to bring a brand new vehicle in monthly? I'm currently in talks with Dueck I'm hopeful for a positive outcome but I felt the need to share this experience with other prospective buyers.

Went into Dueck downtown to look at a C-Max hybrid, it was in for service and unavailable to test. There were other options there that caught my eye, one being a Fiat500 EV. After only 10 mins. driving it I knew it was for me. Darren my sales rep was awesome to me and manager Peter honored a condition I applied to the sale without any hassles, Amanda the business manager was a pleasure to deal with, thanks to all 3 for the awesome job. It's been a month with the new EV and am loving it, charges overnight with a level 1 basic connection and gives me 2-3 days around town, a perfect city commuter and very fast...love it!!... Highly recommend Dueck DT on Terminal ave. for anyone needing an around town commuter...ask for Darren... Fast forward to July 2020 and the aforementioned awesome Fiat 500EV is back at Duecks, available for someone else to enjoy, as it's been traded in for a very nice brand new Chevy Malibu that I've had for a week and am loving it. I contacted Darren to arrange the purchase, unfortunately he informed me he had moved on but put me in contact with Zlatko. Mr.Zlatko, as I call him, has been equally excellent to deal with and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an informative non pressured car buying experience. As well, Amanda in the business office and Peter the manager were great to deal with and I appreciate all they did to get me into this beautiful Chevy, Thanks to them all!!

Al was a fantastic associate to help us out. To the point we drove past at least two other GM dealers with similar models and specs. He was polite, prompt, communicative and straightforward to deal with. And no BS. Not only all that, but he also presented at least three pieces of information that no other GM dealer salesperson had mentioned. Those three key pieces ultimately made the vehicle and price we wanted work for us. Because of the phone, text and email work done by Al, our time at the dealership was at a minimum. And delivery is available, so we don't need to make the trip back to pick up our new vehicle. Aside from Al, all the other staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. Finance guy Joe made everything clear and simple and very quick. Much appreciated with a (very excited) 7 month old in tow! The facility was clean and clearly marked for social distancing with hand sanitizers at strategic locations. Al and Dueck Vancouver will definitely be our first call for our next vehicle. I sometimes wish there was an option for 6 stars.

If someone takes the time to write about a business, I think it is important to read. I went to Dueck Downtown on Terminal in Vancouver. I was feeling skeptical of dealing with a car dealership. I was immediately surprised by the friendliness of the staff. There were no pressured sales pitches. I received sound information about the car I was interested in. I was happy that they were able to create a flexible payment plan that worked for my current budget. I would highly recommend anyone to Dueck Downtown especially my experience with Jennet and Darren. She answered my text message in a timely manner and invited me to come to the dealership. He was friendly and informative about the product; I did not feel pressure into buying a vehicle. I do not get the all the bad reviews. I had a timing chain replaced last summer at a NON GM garage. Big Mistake on my part! After a few months - I had big problems. Dueck was great in sorting all of this out. Then new problems began and Dueck adjusted the bill in my favour and repaired those problems. I know they spent many hours trying to sort the problems and I know I did not get charged all the labour costs on the vehicle. They had to keep the vehicle at the garage and they gave a taxi ride home while they worked on the vehicle. They were always polite and had the shop foreman and a technician working on my vehicle which is 12 years old. I did spend considerable money getting it fixed - that is to be expected with today's vehicles and especially with a 12 year old one. Overall the experience was okay. The only reason for the lower review is I did not get the part I requested for the truck. The sales rep did not listen to me on the importance of the part even though I said it multiple times. Other than that situation, I have no problem with the truck I have right now.

I just got back from Liberia, and it is about time I give credit and personally thank Dueck Downtown service department and Danny from service and the Mechanic who stayed late for me. I brought in an Ambulance which I intended to take overseas to provide medical relief, the 1st ever Ambulance in Liberia. The bus has been running fantastically and is remaining there. I am a volunteer fighter in Kamloops, we got the bus donated from Vancouver and it had a problem on the way home. Danny in the service department as well as the mechanic who worked on the ambulance for me and knew i was waiting to go back to Kamloops, both stayed quite awhile past their shifts to try and get it going for me, unfortunately they could not get it running properly after putting in the new part. they told me I could take it and try it and if it didn't clear itself once I hit highway speeds I would have to bring it back so they could continue the next day. I took it and it didn't clear so I bought it back. Danny was off work now and was just driving home from wherever he went after work, he seen me walking from Dueck and turned around and came back and asked if I needed a ride somewhere, then he drove me around downtown and helped me find a hotel for the night. I had to fly home in the morning, later that week when the bus was finished and ready to go, Danny offered to drive it to me in Kamloops on his day off and fly back. Absolutely amazing service I was blown away by you guys. Thank you again.

Most dealership wont entertain out of town inquiries, but Darren called me up as soon as they received my inquiry online. I told him I live in Victoria, and ask if that would be a problem, and he said not at all. We started the application, gave a few of my personal info, and the next day, Darren’s telling me car is available for pickup. Before we went there to pickup the car, Darren was honest, and told me right away that extra key I requested is not possible which is fine with me. Just want to give a shout out to the sales person Zlatko. We showed up 1/2 hour before they closed and had this poor guy show us 6 different cars, having him run back and forth grabbing keys. He never made us feel rushed, had the right answers to all our questions and made some excellent comments and recommendations. It was like having an experienced friend along to help us look at cars. I have to be honest here, parts dept. Has no clue what they are doing, lie through there teeth about availability, service dept. Had excellent service, mechanics are hit and miss when it comes to completed work, also some of the techs have no attention to detail, leaving battery cables loose, losing wheel lock keys, parts dept said couldn't order them even when I had given them the code for the replacement etc. Feel bad for the service advisor as all the issues I have had are not cuz of him but other employees. Also took 2 weeks to diagnose and repair a exhaust leak on a commercial truck.

Took my truck in for a oil change and a tire rotation. Some how this procedure took 4 hours. There was no explanation as to why so I'm assuming the technician was incompetent. I'm slightly concerned that my oil change was done incorrectly at this point. I asked for a discount for wasting 4 hours of my time which made me late for work. They hesitantly gave me a wopping 10% off. Needless to say the customer service was a joke. I'd attempt my own oil change with a hammer and saw before bringing my truck back to this circus of a dealership.

Brought my 2015 Chevy Cruze LT in do to some shacking and lagging issues. I was told by another my warranty would not cover the issue ???? Dropping my car off, the staff were very helpful and educated about what they were doing. They said I should be able to get it back same day which also was amazing since I rely heavily on my car. Halfway through the day i got a call from the service department. They went out of their way to check my warranty and BAMMM it was fully covered by warranty. They were able to fix my car and return it to me same day and it cost me $27 (for the windshield whippers.) My car is now driving better than ever and they even washed and vacuumed it after they were done. If you have a Chevy or GMC and need service done, these guys are a must. Best experience I have ever had servicing a vehicle!! 5 stars all day long. Thank you!!!!

Leased a 2020 Canyon with over $5000 worth of addons. Problem with the exhaust upgrade (extreme exhaust buffering) and received no help to rectify. In fact i was told aftermarket exhaust problems happen sometimes and that is part of dealing with aftermarket products. My point is, I did not go to a 3rd party to get the work done. I ordered the product from GM website from the list of all items GM offered on their website that would work with my truck. GM installed these products and when i addressed the problem, they did not come up with a solution, but was willing to try and change up items (AT MY EXPENSE) and no guarantee it would fix the problem. My salesman was Assistant sales manager, who was no longer there and the GM would not take my call. GM customer service line had someone with no mechanical background and just repeated what the service manager stated. I had the problem rectified by Budget brake for $700.00. Will never deal with GM again personally or with my company fleet of trucks. They were excited when i was willing to spend, but no support or solutions to help me when i had problems.
