We were on our RV Motorhome trip to Alaska through Watson Lake, Yukon CA. It was time for an oil change. Stopped at Watson Lake Motors. They were accommodating, set time aside for the oil change and lube. They also recommended the Northern Lights exhibition across the street. Both their recommendation and service were greatly appreciated. Hopefully you will not need their service, but if you do, don’t hesitate. They are a full service garage with qualified expertise.

We were moving up to Alaska and over the course of hauling a heavy trailer up some long steep grades our truck started making some unusual noise. They were able to get a mechanic in on the Sunday of a long holiday weekend to look at the truck, and he quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a solution. The staff were friendly and flexible and truly helped us out when we really needed it.

Honest and experienced. By far your best and only option if you are passing through this area. I read the 2 negative reviews and laughed at the lack of common sense in people. The first complaint was that someone had to pay $30 for an off site jump start... If you think $30 is an unreasonable price for on the road auto service in RURAL YUKON there's not too much to say, you pay the same if not more in any city in North America, you should be thanking these guys for going out of their way to get you on the road again. The other complaint was that service was refused so the guy left a negative comment. If these guys refuse service I can assure you that they were either in the middle of their move to their new location or the customer was rude to them. Any time I am traveling through the Yukon, there is only one number I will ever call if I am stranded or need tires, if you are a friendly and respectful customer Watson Lake motors goes above and beyond to get the parts you need in a very remote and rural part of Canada.

We broke our starter on Friday night and were thinking it would be Monday before anything could be done. But the gal who owns the place found us a part on Saturday morning and found a buddy to get it down from Whitehorse. If you have a problem, this is the place to go.

We do not recommend this place. We run the battery down in our car and needed a jump start. We were advised to ask for help at this garage, which we did. They did jump start our car, which was parked conveniently a minutes walk from this place, but demanded 30 dollars for the job which took less than 5 minutes!

The mechanic agreed to take a look at my 1993 VW Eurovan. He quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered a new ignition coil right away. They kept my can, while we contined our travels for a week and then stayed open at 9:00 PM to let me pick up the van. Great job! Very Professional.

Got there early in the morning. Was moving from alaska to wisconsin. Someone in town recommended this place. When i got there to tell them about my exhaust issue, the guy said he was just a tire shop... okay? Guy lied straight to my face. I wouldnt recommend anyone else in this town honestly. Keep movong forward if you can
