First and last time here! When the service manager is rude about how your name is written on your ownership to the point where I have to get snarky back saying that I go by my middle name..was my first sign I should have walked out and taken my truck to another dealer. Then they don't check differential fluid on oil changes. He said only if it leaking, so I asked and what if the fluid is silver because or diff failure, you would never know. He said it is an extra service I have to pay for. NO, other dealerships check the diff fluid on oil changes. The air filter wasn't even checked (layers of dust on the clips not disturbed) and the doors were not even lubed! The drivers door creaks when opening it! Every other dealer I go to does these things. Want better bang for your buck and non discriminate service.. go elsewhere.

Friendly and helpful staff. I drove 2 hours to buy a 4 month old Alfa Romeo Stelvio and very happy with it. My review rating would of been a 5. However, while I was driving home to Toronto I found out the hard way that the horn wasn’t working. Also, I found the owners manual was missing in the vehicle. When I asked about the horn not working I was told that vehicle safety inspections are not done on vehicles that are less than 6 months old. You would think any dealer would do some type of inspection before handing the keys over to a customer. I was able to get the horn fixed by a local Alfa dealer in Toronto.(blown fuse) Regarding the manual, it seems I am stuck using the online version of the owners manual.

I can not express how fantastic my experience purchasing a vehicle from Spelmer was! I recently purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 , I was in a tight spot and needed to make a quick decision and purchase, I called the dealership and was in the same day! I would also like to mention that this was during the Covid-19 pandemic, and that I had my little one with me and they ensured that all safety standards would be met. When I arrived at the dealership, they had a great set up with social distancing in effect including safety measures for customers and staff, along with sanitation procedures in place. I was able to safely look at each vehicle I wanted to with out a worry . They worked with me and my budget and met EVERY need and want that I had. John made the decision making a breeze and was truly education and had great knowledge on the products and options , Brad make pick up quick and painless and Rick made the financial side of things a cake walk. There was no pressuring or gimmicks , I was in and out and had one phone call to follow up about pickup.. I felt more than welcomed and taken care of ! If I could rate Spelmer's with more than 5 stars I would, I highly recommend and will be a life time customer

They dont listen. Told them to check for missing bolts on inner wheel wells. They checked for missing bolts on fenders instead. Telling me there was no missing bolts. There are multiple missing bolts. The wheel wells vibrate on the highway because of this.

Dropped by today to see if my vehicle can be fixed a 2012 dodge ram 5.7. The service guy that dealt with was very abrupt with me when I let him know that I know an ex-employee that referred me to come there to have my truck fixed. I asked if I can have a certain guy work on my vehicle, the service manager then became offended that the ex-employee referenced another employee for working on my vehicle. " Gord doesnt run my service Department I do". I was really looking forward to giving Spelmer Dodge my money but unfortunately they're not willing to take it. But instead they gave me a two-week waiting period to have my vehicle serviced. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here take it to Belleville instead.Gord Works in Peterborough I live in Trenton. Yes go ahead and cancel my appointment and my wife will not be bringing her vehicle there anymore either as we are both new to Trenton area and both Drive dodges extremely disappointed in the customer service if I did this at my job I'd be fired.

We just bought a new van today! Our salesperson, James, was great to deal with, as was his Manager, Rick. No pressure at all to buy. We looked last week and they gave us a quote. We told them what we wanted for our trade, as well as some extras for the new one. They agreed and everyone is happy. I bought a 2001 Dodge Neon ( brand new ) and I was asked to pick three colours I would like my new car to be. When I went to pick up my brand new car I was quite surprised that the colour they gave me was none of the colours I had picked. Not only that but my brand new car was driven to Trenton from Detroit and had 600 km. on it when I took possession. They did , however, give me a " free " CD player. I reluctantly took the car even though they should have given me something more as they had technically sold me a used vehicle. The car had a 3 year front to back warranty. Just before the 3 year warranty expired I was experiencing, what I thought were electrical problems with the CD player. They hooked me up to their " diagnostic " machine,charged me a service fee and told me nothing was wrong, everything was just fine. About a month after the warranty expired I entered the car to go to work only to discover the CD player had been playing all night ( no key was in the ignition ) and the dashboard was super hot. I disconnected the CD player, took the car to Spelmer's after work and told them what happened. They informed me since the warranty was expired there was nothing they could or would do. Thanks Spelmer for selling me an inferior product and lying to me as well and not honouring your warranty. Since 2007 I have been telling everyone thinking about buying a crappy dodge to buy a foreign made model instead

Hi, I purchased a pickup last month from Richard and James and I have never had such a pleasant experience at a dealership before. I had a good idea of what I wanted, but had a few questions that James was able to quickly answer and point me in the right direction. James made the trip out to my home to evaluate my trade in after the dealership had closed and made it seem like I was dealing with a person who cared and not just a another salesman. There was no pressure whatsoever but he also took the time to follow up with me and made sure I was happy. Other dealerships could learn something from Spelmer about customer service!

What a joke. I went in with a friend shopping for a Jeep. He offered me 11k for.my trade in where I was offered 21k at jeep Belleville and Bayview auto. Also EVERYTIME I tried to ask questions I had to interrupt him, he was more interested in chatting my body then selling me truck. So extremely low ball offer for trade in, and didn't even bother trying to help me.

I took my truck in for a factory recall. The service was free as to be expected. I was mildly surprised that I was not given a sales pitch so they could inspect my truck and find something wrong with it. They completed the recall in a timely manner and that was it. The experience buying our 2019 RAM was spectacular. My wife and I have been buying new RAMs since 2012...this being our third (there was a Jeep Wrangler in the mix too which we still have and love). I can definitely say that this has been the best experience buying a new truck I have ever had. The first call in to John speaking about the type of truck and how delivery would work, given I’m from the Ottawa area, was informative and friendly. Chad (superb salesman) helped us with the specifics of our trade and provided us with all of the details on the new truck and the next steps. Nick had us through the finance process in record time and then back to Chad for a delivery right to our doorstep...all of this in less than a week. I also want to mention that the truck arrived in absolutely spotless condition, super clean in and out and Chad was absolutely great given the pandemic we currently call reality. He had a mask on, sanitized his hands, had all paperwork marked and ready for signature and was able to answer all questions and explain everything to us in detail, while social distancing. Terrible experience, will not return. I do not recommend to anyone. Got screwed big time when we pre arranged my pick up time and the door was locked and no one was there. Literally confirmed 3 times . Went to pick up and the front door was locked, apparently you have to check every single door and go to the side door and all but 1 light was off appearing to be closed even calling didn't matter because they didn't answer the phone. Big $$$ for the services I did receive.

Stopped at the first issue they found. Shield has been loose for 6 months. Car is louder they what a heat shield can make for noise.

I received a call from Spelmer Chrysler stating they looked into my complaint I had put on the internet. They realized they did overcharge me for the oil. I appreciate that they sent me a cheque in the amount of $64.41 plus an apology which I received on Feb 4th, 2015. had a recall done timing chain and guide oil change included told service guy I used synthetic he says that's ok I will charge you the difference for synthetic with the excitement of getting my car back did not notice amount of upcharge of synthetic upcharge got home looked at bill WOW 102 dollars plus tax phoned service and voiced my complaint and was told they discounted for a regular oil change and that's the price MY FAULT trusting that I would be treated fairly asked Belleville dodge how much for oil change using synthetic oil he responds 45 dollars sir I said thanks I will be back customer beware Gilbert Woods
