Edited version.I'm writing this review to help people on low/fixed income save time. I'm on a fixed pension/ low income. I dealt with Need a car on July 3, 2018. I wanted to buy a 2013 Mazda 3. My salesman was Andrew Rose. After two days of waiting to found out if I qualify, this is what I was told. Before I say anything else, I have to add that my credit score is 719 as said from Trans-union on Credit Karma. This turned out to be incorrect. After I was told my payments would be $283 by weekly, $1000 down and it would be at 19% interest. I was upset about this. I posted this review and the owners made contact and I am happy to say that even though I could not get what I wanted, they made it clear why I couldn't. My thanks goes out to Arron. He gave me information that can help me in the future. I will deal with Need a Car and the Toronto Auto Group when I know my credit is more established. Thanks again to everyone of NaC and TAG for all you work to try and help me.

Absoloute waste of time! I applied , after a week of not getting anything I called to check on my application . Cody apologized and said he was really busy and just hadn't gotten to it yet and that he would look at it and call me in the next 2 days....another week went by and I called again after not receiving the phone call I was told I would. So talk to him again. He said he was just working on it now and would call me within the next 2 hours and let me know ...again no phone call when he said he would ....give it 2 days call AGAIN ,he days yes you were approved ,and asked if there was a certain vehicle I wanted to test drive ...there was so i told him and he said I could come test drive it the next morning , that he would be there at 9 and we could take it for a drive while he worked on getting our interest rate down ,we said perfect we will be there first thing at 9 ....WELL , my husband and I with our 9 month old son drive over from belleville and get there at 9:20 ..and no Cody.one of the workers texted him to tell him we were there and to see how long he would be.. And because it was Cody that started our application no one else could access it (so we were told) ...so we sit and we wait ...15 mins, 30 mins, 1 hr...FINALLY he shows up at 10:20 ( and apparently had time to stop and get timmies coffee and breakfast even tho he was over an hour late and knew we and our baby were waiting - how professional is that?!) So at this point we had already test drove the vehicle as we were waiting for Cody to grace us with his presence . so when he finally shows up he sits at the computer working on the application ...we sat for another 30-45 minutes while him working silently on the computer apparently trying to get our rate down ..at that point it was almost 11 and we had to leave for prior engagements . he assured us he would call us that afternoon ....and surprise surprise , NO phone call! I wait a few days and call again and he said that Shawn the manager has the file and he would call me later .of course no . so about a week later I call and the lady receptionist answers and I say that I'm calling to check on my application from a month ago and that I would like to speak to some one other can Cody as he's been no help and very unprofessional ... She takes my phone number and says that Shawn the manager will call me asap ...that was almost a week ago !! I can not believe the level of unprofessionalism that this business has shown when all I'm trying to do is buy a safe and reliable vehicle for our family ...never again will I attempt to deal with this so poorly ran business, and I'll be sure to tell everyone who will listen about this experience !

I have purchased a car and a suv from Need a car. Both times was a great experience. When we upgraded to our suv, it had complications, it took Jack and james and everyone else involved no time at all to jump on fixing the problem and getting it done right. I had a courtesy car...that I got into a crash with and it was wrote off. They didnt care about the famous world travelling car that was totalled..they cared if my family and I were ok. Jack was ontop of getting my suv back even faster than expected. Id recommend this company to anyone. To each their own. This is my opinion and my experience.

Worst ran company I've seen in my life. Just bought a car from them with a egnine light on and was told it will be fixed. Got the car and they just cleared the code so it came back a couple days later. I purchased the extended warranty with the car so I brought it to the shop they told me to bring it to (Goodyear) and Goodyear did the same thing, cleared the code and gave me the car back. I now have to leave my car at goodyear for a second time and I'm left without a loaner car even though I was told I would get one. I keep getting told "you're okay to drive your car with the light on, it won't blow up" I know it's not going to blow up but I was told that I wouldn't get a car with a egnine light on and I did. Terrible customer service. One sales person told me the warranty would be 2600 then the other told me 1200. They don't answer emails, they don't answer the phone. This company is a bunch of people who couldn't get real jobs at real dealerships. 0/10 DO NOT GO HERE

My issues started back in June 2016 with Need A Car Belleville. I was sold a 2003 Chevy Venture. It was sold to me with no warranty. Within 6 months the van was a constant source of repair. The second vehicle sold to me in July 2017 was a 2007 Dodge Caravan. Within hours of purchase the CEL came on. It was The EGR Valve that malfunctioned. And the radio didn't work. I was told I'd have to pay to have a working one installed. Sometime within 30 days of purchase the contracted repair centre told me the van required a Rack and Pinon as well as inner tyrods. My 3rd Caravan from this dealership I had to buy due to complete statedstate of disrepair, was a 2010 Dodge Caravan. In July 2018. It had an Evap leak and needed a gas cap upon purchase. It needed brakes shortly after purchase due to the caliper sticking. Causing the pads to wear and rotors to warp. This happened every 10-12 weeks. The contracted shop and dealership claimed they didn't know why this happened and I was left to continue to fix it, out of my own pocket. I lost this van in an accident June 2019. So in July 2019 I purchase my 4th vehicle from them. A 2012 Dodge Caravan that came with a chip in the windshield on the driver's side. In my line of Vision. Saftied. The seat belts didn't go in like they should when you put them on. Jack Revoy would not fix the issue. The AC didn't work for the first few weeks. Within a few days of purchase. Alternator needed replacing, cabin and under hood air filter, gas cap and the passenger side seat wouldn't stow. Within a week I was told the tires were worn causing a bad vibration as well the cruise control needed to be replaced. Within 8 months I had to replace the rear shocks. Meaning they were worn upon purchase. During my struggle with the 2012 Caravan I was lent a Toyota Corolla that I was told clunked badly but was fine. 100kms later the strapping for the gas tank let go. Leaving me and my 3 small children on the side of the 401. Every vehicle took 5 or more days for me to receive and still had all these problems. They were also filthy. I reported the 2012 Caravan to them as a total loss due to horrific fire June 17 2020. Payment's and interest were left active on the loan. July 29 Marjorie Baker started inquiring on my credit without permission. Now because I will not buy my next vehicle from them I have a remaining balance of $1189 after my initial insurance payout as well the GAP payout. At one point when I asked my payments be stopped I was told by Sarwar they would be. Then the next thing I know the missed payment is added onto my final balance. Even 2 insurance payouts. I made many calls to them in an attempt to reduce the amount owing. Mr Sarwar Hossen Finance Controller at Toronto Auto Group laughed at my frustration multiple times August 6 2020. As well as the president of TAG Neil Puri refused to speak to me directly and directly stated I would not get a deal unless I made my next vehicle purchase from them. They know this is a large dollar amount for me as a single mom of 4 on ODSP. It's also a huge barrier in me getting another vehicle from a quality dealership.

I bought two vehicles from Sean. A Saturn Ion & and a Mazda 3. He was easy to work with, I was very happy with the service. Very polite and happy. He directed me in the right path to rebuild my credit, and explained things in a way that even my bank hadn't! Later on down the line, he even hired me and I am now helping people in the model that he helped me when I was a customer!!

One of their Guys came to get my van from Kingston drove it to the shop in Trenton leaving me an unsafe loaner/company vehicle that I couldn't even use because it was to small for my family size, they claimed they fixed my breaks and calipers but only greased them, then refused to answer my calls for 2+ weeks and to top it all off the guy that drove my vehicle there and back smoked in my vehicle....beyond disappointed with them and their service.

Quite a few problems with my experience here, communication was horrific, I felt as though I was burdening the folks by following up or asking for updates or answers, I would go days/weeks with nothing - good luck getting a call back or email answered... I was advised that the whole process takes time which I appreciate and very much understand but buying a car is stressful keep your customers informed of your progress or lack there of. It eases their mind and gives you credibility. I was explained that my rate would be high given an unfortunate history that was out of my control, I accepted that was the truth and ran with it and jumped through several hoops to better my chances to no avail. I was told (after 2 months of me chasing) that the best IF I got approved would be 30% interest rates... Lo and behold after 4 days dealing with a different dealer I pick up my new 2016 civic tomorrow morning at 9.9% interest... Sometimes shopping around pays off.

Contacted shawn last month about trading in my lease for a newer vehicle. He sold the vehicle we were supposed to look at .He was suppose to contact me for the last 3 weeks .He has called back 2 times with no further information or progress report just to confim my income abd ger my SIN NUMBER didnt know that was required but reluctantly gave it anyways. Still waiting to hear back about another vehicle. Another payment will go thru soon. And to boot im missing out on work because, this vehicle is unsafe.

I've got an extensive mechanical back ground have been around an fixing cars since I was very small and have seen time and time again this company selling garbage cars to good people, I've seen them push these cars on someone who is in need of a car then 3 months down the road the car is a mess needs thousands of dollars worth of work transmissions have gone with in months... now dont get me wrong used cars you never know what's going to happen BUT the kicker is this company will not help you at all once you drive off the lot it is YOUR problem and they do not care and will not help you, so take my warning and if you truly need a car do not purchase a vehicle from this company!!!!

Bought a car from them 6 months ago. I was told I had a factory warranty and that oil changes were covered until January 2019. I completed the paperwork and the person who referred me was told she would receive a cheque in two weeks. Three weeks later I called and the rep was unavailable. Still no referral cheque for the person who referred me. I called the dodge dealership to get my oil changed, they were not covered. When I got my car in for the oil change i was told luckily my car was on warranty and I should take it in. My axle seal was blown. Two months later and 18 phone calls later I finally get a hold of the representative, he tells me he wonders why my safety went through with a blown seal. What!? I proceeded to ask him about the cheque. He told me it would be too much paperwork at head office so he would tack it into the next car sold. That was over a month ago. I hope who ever is considering to buy here reads this. I bought a car on warranty and was lucky. The person who referred me still never got their cheque and when either of us get through to someone it is only I will take you name and look into it. Exactly how many times do you need to look into it? Worst car buying experience ever.

Need A Car Trenton is awesome to deal with when I needed a vehicle. Cody Leland is a great salesman who went to great measures to help me get into my vehicle. Plus he also gave my friend her $250 referral cheque for referring me. Jack worked hard to get my vehicle ready the same day it came back from the safety and the same day I was signing paperwork (he doesn't like to be rushed :) but did it anyways). I had an issue with my tires and they replaced my tires without any issues. Felt like family sitting around waiting. I would gladly recommend these guys to anyone and will go back when I want to upgrade to a newer vehicle. Thank you everyone!

came in for a test drive because a truck caught my eye and the salesman Cody was very knowledgeable, and knew the mechanical specifications of the GMC I was looking at. Priced reasonably too! Wanted it but my current Ford truck didn’t get wrote off so I’m going to drive it for a bit longer but will definitely come back to deal with him when I’m due for a upgrade

Need A Car – My initial review pegged this business at 5 stars. I have changed my mind. My problems with the company began about a month after I bought my vehicle. The car has been buggy since I took possession of it. Need A Car has consistently avoided responding to my inquiries about having them addressed. Emails and phone calls have been ignored. When I bought the car I was coerced into leaving the company a 5 star review on Google Maps. These people do not care about customer service, they definitely don't want to address concerns about the quality of the vehicles they are selling. I wish someone had warned me about this. I would look elsewhere before purchasing a vehicle with them.

Worst place to ever buy a car, bought a vehicle in March, and have had nothing but problems, and now the extended warranty that I paid for won’t cover anything, avoid this place, they obviously don’t inspect the cars very well before re selling, I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs unless you want a headache, the sales person and service manager at this location both ignore customer requests for information, they don’t care about there customers or the fact that they ruin people’s credit.

Money grabbers did not honour their word and sold truck after we were told we could not buy or test drive till Tue. No honour and word is worth spit . I was just in the trenton need a car I ask about a ram there Jack .R said its 4500 for 04 ram as is I asked what's wrong with it told dont know so I asked how can you ask 4500 for it then he got really rude told me if I dont like it leave great customer service and I'm there to buy a truck with a few grand in my pocket said with a attitude like that won't spend my money here won't recommended Jack.R or need a car trenton bad service all around

Perfect experience from start to finish and BEYOND! My sales representative (Ben) and finance manager (James) were very helpful and informative. They helped me find a car that fit my needs and within my budget. They explained all processes very well and were overall amazing through each stage of the process. Need a car went above and beyond from hanging out/helping with my son while signing papers to picking me up day of since I sold my current car the morning of. Very impressed!! Flash forward to almost a week later and I unfortunately got a flat tire on my way to town. I called need a car to asked if that is covered and in less than an hour I received a text message that Jack (service manager) had two tires waiting and paid for at goodyear in Trenton. Everyone involved has gone above and beyond in my opinion and my future car purchases will definitely go through them :) thank you guys!!

I started looking for a newer vehicle after years of driving older vehicles my last being a 1998 jeep Grand Cherokee. after the Jeep left me stranded and unable to get to and from work. I contacted Cody Leland my experience was great. Cody was able to get me approved on the car of my choice. at a great price and interest rate. I was able to get my 2019 Buick Regal and I was able to pick it up a couple days later. Terrible experience with salesperson(Rayhaan chowdury) i trusted him as i was referred to him through a good friend but he took total advantage of me being not able physically go to the dealership, he add all kind of not needed warranties and insurances without discussing with me, $12888.00 worth of car was sold to me for $23000.00 in financing, i was so stupid to sign the papers not knowing what he had done with the deal. All for trusting a thug. For those who don't want to get ripped off my suggestion is not to buy a car from them. Anyone wants to know more details I'll be more then happy to share my whole experience

Friends of ours bought a Ford edge from here and had nothing but problems. This week the transmission went. They refused to give them a loaner car and told them that its going to be almost 2 weeks to get this fixed. Their employee was very upfront and said that the reason they couldnt get a loaner was that he was using it. What great customer service!!! I bought my last vehicle here and had plans on getting my next one here as well. After hearing the way my friends were treated I will no longer give them my bussiness and will be telling people I know not shopping here.

I bought a 2005 Buick torezza from this place. THe day I picked it up the air shocks were screwwed. They were nice and took it back fixed it and sent us home with a full tank of gas and gave us a loaner in the mean time. But than the heat didn't work. Sent it back they gave us a loaner. When it was "fixed" they had someone drive the van to our home and drop it off. Guess what? Still no heat. They drove from Trenton to Bancroft with no heat! So we sent it back. My husband drove down in theloaner to get it! They said it was fixed .... he got 2 seconds down the road. Still no heat. After more hassle they finally fixed it. Got it home and went for groceries. Van over heated and started vibrating and smoking. They charged us for the tow and were seriously rude! Than water started pouring out on the drivers side onto my feet. Door handles fell off. Automatic door wouldn't close and would constantly ding making you go crazy. This is all before I ever made my first payment. Which by the way is 410$ a month. Than the wheel bearings and calipers went. This place is a scam they are heartless people who don't give to craps about what kind of car you leave in. My sister got a car from there 2 days after me. She has the same problems. When you call to explain the problem they say they will call u back and never ever do! I am donewith these people! They are all rude. Especially their female secretary who makes ufeel like an idiot ! Don't go there. It's a trap!! I'm getting rid of my van. Im surrendering it to them and going elsewhere. Thanks for nothing need a car. Maybe u should read your reviews!!!
