I came into the dealership with a ticking / strange noise in the engine of my vehicle. I was told that I would need a new engine. This would normally be very bad news but I was also told it would also be free of charge. Great service, no excuses. Eric was courteous and honest. I'll be back here for repairs and when I need a new vehicle.

I bought a car from these guys about 3 months ago. I had basically already decided before I made the 2 hour drive to Simcoe that I was buying the car so, super easy sale for them. When I got there I saw the car had 3000kms more than advertised. They said one the employees had used it to “commute”. I wasn’t impressed but I decided to let it slide because it was still relatively low mileage. They didn’t budge on the price AT ALL, saying it was as low as possible. I understood, but was surprised to not be offered anything whatsoever....like not even a calendar. This is after putting a larger than normal amount of cash down. I had to come back a couple days later to pick the car up. Rented a car, drove there, picked up my new car. Even though the sales team knew I was going to be driving back to Mississauga the gas tank hadn’t been filled & was just below half. The sales person who sold me the car said she would email me in a couple weeks to see how things were going. Never heard from her or anyone else from the dealership. So...I love my car & so far (knock on wood) no issues. But from a customer service perspective...not great. Wouldn’t buy from these guys again because it didn’t really seem like my purchase mattered to them at all.

I never written a review before but had such a great experience at this place! I Went to many car dealerships before I ended up at southcoast Hyundai, and honestly best expirience I ever had! I am absolutely upset , unhappy with how service dept. Told me rental vehicle was on me and bill was my own. When I called them before getting rental vehicle they were all great and good about getting rental from hertz/enterprise and bill them once they fix my car. Well, a week later when the car is fixed and on pick up Manager told me straight "Bill has your name on it so it's your bill". Well, you guys should have told me on call when I asked to either rent from Hertz or use my second car for time being.

It was a service #2 on my car and it was done in the time advised. I had asked for a valve cap to be installed which they took care of. They asked if I wanted it washed but it was quite clean already, so I declined. While waiting I looked at the new cars and chatted with the salespeople who were quite friendly and asked if I wanted a coffee. Nice people.

My Wife and I have just purchased the new Hyundai Palisade Ultimate. The best decision we have ever made. My only problem is that my wife wants to drive all the time now and I don’t get much of a chance at the wheel. Features like the Heads-up display (which is incredible), Driver assist and lane detection coupled with the differing driving modes make it such an awesome drive. The ride is so comfortable enhanced by the Nappa leather and plenty of room in the second and third row seating. The ventilated seats in the first and second row really work well in the heat of the summer. I particularly like the smart and sports modes. What surprised me was the inclusion of a remote start feature. Small things like camera views when indicating left and right show up in the instrument cluster to view your blind spots. There are so many more features, too many to mention in this review. I would like also to commend all the staff at South Coast Hyundai from the sales to service sections as I have found them all to be so helpful. In particular I would like to extend a big thank you to Melissa Canady and Marty Evans who have helped in my recent purchase of the Palisade. Their attention to detail, honesty and efficiency cannot be faulted.

Just changing my review as I am now very annoyed with this dealership...... I bought in February, was told the service department was open on Saturdays which works well for me because I cannot get there during the week as there hours are the exact hours i work at in Brantford. so that was a huge reason I bought there. I have since tried to book 2 separate service appointments & have been told they are closed on Saturdays now. Not very convenient for people who have to work during the day out of town. On the website it even says Saturday service appointments are by appointment only. So I just called & was turned away again. Guess I won't be back to this dealership ever again.
