Used to have a 2010 Elantra that I would bring to Hyundai North. It was good experience. Hyundai South has a more straightforward process and helpful staff. Definitely much better customer experience.

Fabulous customer service!! Dealt with Margaret on my very first visit there for car servicing. She had been very polite and superbly helpful in answering all my queries related to service and everything. Also no unnecessary upselling on repairs and other stuff. Really appreciate it. They use all the typical car sale tricks (multiple people talking to you from different departments, ridiculous high price with no break down initially, pushy). The price of the car I was interested in was listed at a good number but then all the fees start adding up. The car was listed at 18,500 online (they didn't even know that and I had to show them. They had it listed on site at 23kish) When we sat down and started talking numbers the price was over 28k (I think a 10k jump is a little much). I feel like they use false advertising to get you interested in a car then jack up the price. Didn't buy the car here, went to Toyota and had much better time. They actually sell their cars at a price close to the listed price.

The mechanic is so impatient of explaining my vehicle’s problem. Probably he didn’t know much but charging me the inspection fees. After spending hundreds of dollars, I got no solution to my problem. Waste of my money and time.

Will literally waste infinite amounts of your time. We ordered a model, still waiting on it when they initially promised 2-4 weeks (we're closing on 8). Went in to sign some papers, 2 hours later they're still screwing around. If we did it over again, would just find another dealership.

Awesome Experience from Sales to Service. I was fixated with buying another company's Car but 'luckily' I visited South Hyundai and was blown away by the friendliness of the Sales Staff there. Something that lingered on my mind so much that when I went to the competitor's dealership with which I was fixated, I felt they were bland. Needless to say I went back to South Hyundai Saskatoon and placed my order. If sales wasn't enough the Service Centre blew my socks off with excellent support. I even used their drop-in when I had a doubt about one of the things with my SUV and they even took it in for a few hours to run the diagnostics which came clean and settled all my doubts. Go for it guys without blinking an eye.

I bought a 2017 hyundai santa fe sport only 5 pass really needed 7 pass I have 4 kids a me and my wife they said they could not put me in a 7 pass at this time they said only can put me in this vehicle and now I can not go on road trips with my family I was not happy with the vehicle to small for me I ask them to change it and they said no I don't drive it to much just park in my driveway I guess I will have to look for a 7 pass van so I can travel and they told me there was 2 sets of keys only got 1 set I ask them to send me one and they said no I will have to get my own that is not fair when I ask they said yes had it delivered to my house I call them before I sign the paper work and said we will find you one I called them 2 days later and that is when they said no I paid a lot of money for the car if they delivered it and I don't like it they should have change the vehicle for me like a van or something with 7 pass not happy with there service don't think I buy a car from them ever again have to pay for something I did not want my name is Wayne Dixon from Climax sask

Arrived to test drive a Genesis and told sales person would be back in 5. Twenty minutes later no sales person and no help. I got up and left with no questions asked. Have to say Genesis very impressive luxury experience of which I care not to repeat. Very disappointing

Sales and Finance were 5/5 Service department so far has be 0/5 Have had multiple issues with the service department. Most recently had an oil change booked for 1pm and wasn't completed until 3:30pm. I was told at drop off that it would be completed by 2:30-3pm at the latest. When I first my new vehicle I noticed some imperfections on some interior trim pieces. I brought the vehicle in to have them inspected and was told someone would let me know if Hyundai would replace the parts. So far I have heard nothing about these trim pieces. Last time I asked someone in service about these pieces no one seemed to know anything about them. Also I paid for a block heater as part of the vehicle purchase. Once again I was told someone would contact me to come get it installed but have not heard anything.

I decided to buy my new vehicle from Hyundai South, and they did not disappoint. The exact model that I wanted did not work with the banks at the beginning, but the people in Hyundai did everything they could to meet my needs. Anna from finance was very helpful throughout the process and worked her magic to make the deal happen. Marc from the sales team was my go to person throughout the process (I visited the dealership on daily basis for a whole week). Every day, Marc would wait for me and spend as much time as needed with me to discuss everything related to the deal. Despite his young age, his enthusiasm and cheerful personality helped make a stressful situation much easier. Thank you Hyundai South. I LOVE my new vehicle :)

I honestly didn't think I could get financed through a big box dealership, but these guys did it, and got me a lower rate than the other dealerships I tried. I am an ex-salesman myself, so I knew what to look for when dealing with salesman. Derek was a newer salesman coming over from KIA, and he was great to work with, friendly, not intimidating, not pushy. I told him what I wanted, and I ended up driving home in what I wanted within a few hours of coming in. I would highly recommend Southside Hyundai Saskatoon to anyone interested in buying (already been telling people whether they are looking or not). As part of the FFUN group, they can pull cars from other dealerships within their group so you don't have the hassle of going dealership to dealership, salesman to salesman, which just adds flavor.

Not sure if it’s a routine or it just has happened to my uncle?! He decided to buy a vehicle 2 weeks ago and after signing the contract with them, they brought him the car with some days delay. The funny part is after some days they called him and wanted the car back! Because the bank did not approve. I just wanted to know how it’s possible?! I was at Mazda, 3 weeks ago and it took 2 to 3 hours to got my approval. After they got the approval, they started the contract process. My uncle and his family was supposed to be in Vancouver now, but they could not go because of this strange situation! It has cost a lot to them. Who is gonna be responsible?

Parts service is very slow. Customer service is very poor. We werent greeted when we arrived both time. Only good experience that we had throughout this dealership was the shuttle service.. we will using a different Hyundai dealership next time.

I had a recall on my Hyundai so I called this location to book an appointment and got a date and time about two weeks ago. After arranging a babysitter and a ride home from the dealership i came in for my booking. I was told my appointment didnt exist and someone new must have booked my appointment and they would have to rebook. They offered to detail my vehicle as an apology. No problem! When I arrive for my second booking (and securing a second babysitter and ride home), there was no mention of any detailing. After bringing it up again they tell me nobody authorized that and i would get a “mini-detailing” as consolation. When picking up my vehicle they told me they couldnt even do the mini detailing! I dont care about the detailing itself, but lack of any accountability and excuses from this dealership really hurt. I had a very poor customer experience and wont be recommending this location to anybody.

I absolutely despise the process of having to buy a car. I tried a few different dealerships and I wasnt happy with any of them. They would answer my emails by saying, "yes! We have this car, come try it out!" Only to say they magically JUST sold it that hour, but here's a car worth 15k more for you to try. I found a car i really liked on the Soutj Hyundai website, went in to see it, and instantly liked it. It was exactly what I was looking for and was reasonably priced for a used car. The entire process was made super easy and didnt feel like I was negotiating my life away. We had Jeff with us through the process and he was absolutely awesome through the whole thing! Both Jeff and Clint Nunweiler made sure we left feeling good about the purchase. I needed a reliable car and I got that and so much more. Bonus is that the staff didn't judge us when we couldn't figure out how to work their coffee machine from space lol. 10/10 I reccomend checking this place out and asking for Jeff Brown when you're looking for your next vehicle, new or used!

Service and warranty has been nothing but a head ache from day one with Hyundai. Do not recommend buying any hyundai vehicle unless you want to get ready for a terrible time when any little thing goes wrong. Or even a simple recall they manage to make a lengthy process (my car sat on the lot over a month because of a recall). North or South they are both awful. I did not purchase my car through them so I was unaware of the bad work ethic when choosing a hyundai vehicle.

5 stars!????I have recently made my second purchase through Saskatoon South Hyundai. I had written off my car and now I've purchased a Hyundai Elantra. I love it! Emily has gone above and beyond to make sure I was happy and that all my needs were met. I was able to test drive the vehicle for several days and see how it fit for my lifestyle. If I had any questions or concerns, Emily was only a text message away. She was also so kind! Not once did I feel like a pay cheque to her. You can tell she builds on person-to-person relationships. biggest mistake I ever made. I bought a 2013 bmw x3 for $19,000 from Saskatoon south Hyundai. 90 days later the engine blew on it. when I brought it to their shop they gave me the run around and charged me $700 for unneeded, none helpful repairs. then they sent me to the bmw shop who also charged me $1100 for repairs that also didn't fix the problem. A new engine will cost me $5000 plus labour. please be careful when buying, I don't recommend this shop or the cars on the lot they represent. please save your hard earned money and don't buy here.they also charged me $90 to tow my car to bmw shop that is less than 1 k away.

December 27th: I purchased a new vehicle through Hyundai. I previously had a leased Hyundai that I loved, and the price on my new Elantra was perfect for my budget. I was ecstatic. Fast forward to April 4th. I'm still waiting to be refunded for two payments I made on my leased Hyundai. They were made in January (after I had already purchased my new vehicle), and every one I talk to seems to give me the run around with where this money is. Hyundai Motor Finance blames the dealership. The dealership blames Hyundai Motor Finance. When I try to get consumer help, they tell me they only deal with warranties. When they say they will call me back in 48 hours, they don't. This will be my last Hyundai purchased, and I am not afraid to tell others about the nightmare I am currently going through. I have been nothing but patient, but it's been over three months. Figure it out.

He was very approachable and answered all of my question with great depth and passion. Overall, I felt Jordan was very trustworthy and professional. Bruce Kim, the mechanic who worked on my car, was very hardworking. The car was fixed much more quickly than I originally anticipated. He made sure that I was updated every major step of the process. When I got the car after he was done all of the problems were addressed and it could not have felt newer. The experience at the service with the two gentlemen was an absolute pleasure and as far as I live near, I know for certain to whom to take my car.

Was great experience overall. Quick service, polite and flexible deal. Got paired with Raine, she was very easy to talk to, kind and straight forward person which I really appreciated. She and mitch the sales manager as well as Binh the finance manager stayed after closing to help me get the deal over the line. Mitch was very flexible with my trade in and gave me a very good value for it and the car I bought as well. Binh explained as the details of the financial side of it very detailed and was very honest with how each add on insurances worked. He also had me fill out the paperwork and got approved for the loan all in under 10 mins. Also all the staff were friendly enough to say hello and were ready to answer questions if asked. All in all very good experience, would really recommend this dealer to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

DO NOT TRUST one thing their service department tells you! or the sales team. I will never buy another car from them. I bought a used sante Fe and was reassured it had a multi point inspection and nothing was wrong. I got my own inspection (highly recommended) and found poor rear brakes and the tires were cupped and needed replacing. They installed the snows at the end of Sept and told me my new summers were in storage. A lie. At my complimentary service and tire change at 6 months, not only, miracles of miracles, did they find cupped tires (which they lied and said they replaced) and poor rear brakes, they found a bunch of other problems they somehow missed on the buyers check. Then I played 'we'll call you' with them for weeks. They are either incompetent or liars, you pick. If you MUST buy a car from them, do your own inspection, do not trust them.

They had my car for a month saying no one was getting quotes back to them and then after the month they just decided to say they can't do it. Had to have engine block replaced in 2014 Elantra last spring. Took two months before the repairs were finished. Once the car was returned to me had numerous problems, including various electronics not being reconnected. Each time the service manager said that they had checked and made sure that everything was working ok but I had to return 2 or 3 more times. Recently began having problems with the engine again, including engine losing power while driving. Took in to Hyundai and was told a diagnostic test cost $140. Excessive compared to other shops. Only took back to Hyundai because new engine block should still be under warranty since under a year old. Was also charged $21 for shop supplies even though the only work done was scanned for diagnostic codes and road tested. Highly recommend using another mechanic shop as the shop work is mediocre and service managers just seem to want to get you back in for more they can charge you for.

I got my car here. They have excellent customer relations and very good space. However, if you're planning on dropping your car for servicing Very fast and hope to use their shuttle service to drop you off at work, or you plan on getting a car really quick, you may be a bit disappointed. They have a lot of work to do when it comes to being timely. I arrived work very late the last time I dropped my car off for servicing and requested their shuttle to drop me off. Other than this, they are excellent at what they do. Oh, their shuttle drivers are really friendly too.

Got approved for a car that was already sold ... then they offered a car way over my budget. Both dealerships are terrible. It's been a few years since I have been in this dealership. I was in contact with a sales rep by the name of Jeff Brown. I explained my situation (not the greatest credit) and he told me to come in and see what they could do. I ended up spending a few hours at the dealership, the team that he was working with were awesome. Between Jeff Brown and Mitch Weber (Sales manager), they came up with an amazing deal. I am kicking myself for not accepting it but I am personally being extremely cautious financially with Covid and with some loss revenue I am experiencing because of it. If the pandemic didn't happen, I would be driving a new vehicle right now with what they put infront of me. Even with me leaving without making a deal Jeff Brown and Mitch Weber were extremely professional. I am going to give myself another 6 months to a year to improve my financial situation and reevaluate from there. When I do go to buy a new vehicle, Jeff Brown is going to be the person I call. It shows a lot to me that the professionalism of these people didn't change from the time I walked in too the time I walked out with no deal (my choice not to accept, they put a really good one infront of me). I trade my Hyundai 2015 Elantra to SUV 2018 Kona in Saskatoon South Hyundai last March 8, 2018. I added the remote start together with the SUV 2018 Kona when I purchased the vehicle. The Product Specialist told me that the remote start will be installed the next day and I’ve waited for it. After couple of weeks, he told me that I need to wait for two more weeks again. He told me that the reason was still in quality check. I have waited for another two weeks again. I called the Product Specialist again last April 12, 2018 and he said that “Hyundai is having a little bit problem get in to the dealers and it will be probably in the middle of next month.” I have waited again for 3 weeks and 6 days. I called again today May 9,2018, and he said that it’s still on back order and it’s gonna be another two months away. They charged me already for the remote start but then it’s more than two months now that I haven’t received it and now they want me to wait again for another two months just to have it. This is not good experience for me not once but twice and aside from that, nobody is calling me about the update of remote start. I always need to call this dealership just to know the update of my remote start. You are responsible to update me. This remote start cost $795 and you want me to wait again for another 2 months.

Probably the worst company to buy a car from, they are definitely not worth it. I went in to buy a brand new car and they tried selling me one with scratches on it and when I complained about it they were not happy. I managed to get a different car, but then I realized 6 months in that my cigarette lighters don’t work. So I go in for my service and i bring this up and they tell me that it’s going to cost me $140 for them to take a look at it even though it should be covered under warranty. My paint on the rim of the hood is also chipping, and has now rusted. And I took it in and they said that it was due to normal wear and tear, specifically from rocks, so it’s not covered. Just disappointed and would never buy a car from them again. Probably best to stick with places that have great quality and amazing service.

When I went for oil change for 2nd time I was told that they have no record of free oil change and I was charged 69 dollars for labour charges.When I bought vehicle I was told that my all deals are on the system so I don’t need any paper work or coupons for oil change.I think they cheated me .

My experience with Saskatoon south Hyundai has been a joke. It’s taken 3 visits so far to the service dept. to have a simple job of getting the driver window put back on track. The first time they” fixed” it, the window came off the first time I used it, second time said they had no parts and gave me my vehicle back with the window stuck and I had to spend an hour to get it back up. Parts finally showed up, but the service dept didn’t call to inform me for 10 days that the parts were in. I had to call to ask. So they “fixed” it again but said it need to come back for a fourth time to put a piece of trim on. Here we are a week after the new parts we’re installed and the window is off again. I’m Very unhappy with this dealership, and the service dept. I regret ever getting into a Hyundai and I will never have one again after this experience.
