Not too happy ..made ..an appt everytime i go there never get my suv washed .hv too wait fr hours after being told something else ..and being disrespected .by workers there ..maybe cause they think im a woman ..examp..sometimes i wait fr someone too serve me And i was with a fam member .they asked him not me he wasnt in line it was my suv..or rude comments back ..too questions .im hoping this was just a one day thing..last time i buy a ford im thinking.???? .

I am totally shocked and in complete disbelief as to how my husband and I were treated when purchasing a car at the Sarnia Ford dealership. We purchased a Lincoln MKZ and within an hour of having this car, lights started popping up on the dash. We returned the vehicle and they assured us that it would be the first car they look at first thing in the morning. 4:00pm rolls around and we have not heard anything about our newly purchased vehicle. We phoned the sales manager who's name is Chris. The amount of unprofessionalism we experienced was absolutely mind blowing. He was referring to my husband as "man". He was rude and condescending saying "I don't know what to tell you, man. Things happen to cars sometimes, man. If you want to just cut the deal, then lets cut the deal." He would not go out of his way whatsoever to find out what was going on. Instead, he just welcomed us to cancel our purchase. The next day, we spoke to the salesman who sold us the vehicle who then began to apologize on Chris' behalf... Assuring us that if there were any further issues, the owner of Ford and himself will take care of us. They went out of their way to make us feel as though they cared and we appreciated their costumer service. My husband and I decided to give it a second chance and that we would keep the purchase and take the car home. Within an hour of taking the car home, once again all of the same lights started popping up on the dash. They assured us (again) that they will take a look at the car. After not hearing from them all day, my husband finally put his foot down and decided this is not working out. We are constantly chasing after them to keep us informed. This is just not sitting well with us and we would like to cancel the purchase of the Lincoln. There was no response from anyone and the car went back up for sale on their website. Once again, we have to chase after them to ask what is going on. We purchased this vehicle about two weeks ago and we have not been able to have the car in our possession for more than an hour. They are advertising a car that is "in perfect working condition." Upon purchasing, we received a massive checklist that states everything is in perfect working order when that is absolutely not the case. They sold us a problematic vehicle. We feel as though we've been lied to. We will definitely be informing our friends and family about this insane headache of a story and will be advising everyone not to purchase a vehicle from this dealership.

the work that was done was good except sometimes my door doesnt always shut tight with out slamming it..the issue was that it took almost a month to fix a door ..that seemed way too long however i did have a brand new car to drive thankfully through my insurance..i almost didnt put it through insurance and if i didnt i would have been stranded for a month with no vehicle because they took so long to fix it..they never contacted me at all throughout this whole time..i had to call them.

In Lambton service I booked an appointment to get my car service, and whoever picked up the phone confirmed it for 8 o clock in the morning. But when I arrived in the morning they said you don’t have any appointment. Due to which I had to wait 2.30 hours to get my car serviced. And the problem that I had told that the gas is not going properly from the filling place , could not even correct it. So it’s my experience is not good in Lambton Ford Service Center Sarnia.

Bought a car and was told they would replace the custom/lack-of muffler with a stock muffler. Sales rep John Filia tried to brush it under the table and actually argued with me over the legality of what was on my car (it wasnt) instead of fulfilling the promise. I ended up dealing with Aaron Schmidtmeyer who was genuinely fantastic to deal with and reimbursed me for the muffler I had to pay to install. However Ford only covered $500. It cost me $560 total after a receiving a dealership discount on parts and not being charged labour from a family friend. The initial service and ford's unwillingness to fully cover the promised work was disappointing.

Wilf our salesman made us feel comfortable about our purchase and it all went very smoothly considering we had to pick up our car the day we left for Florida. Steve the sales manager and Kate in credit also assisted to make this a relaxing experience. Unfortunately the car was not detailed to our liking but Wilf said that would be rectified upon our return. Overall we are very happy with our dealership our service personnel and our salesman.

Brought my 2015 Explorer in to Lambton Ford for service, the service engine light had been on and gone out but my vehicle cranked over for 5-10 sec's before it started. First thing they needed to order a mass air flow sensor. It was supposed to be in in 1 day but we thought we might as well take the vehicle home as it was a Thursday and just in case we would have it for the weekend. No-one called and upon us calling the next week the part had come in and told to bring our vehicle in. Not sure when they would have called??? Brought it in the next Monday and thought it would be a quick job. lol After a few days we called them and they said it hadn't made a difference and they would order an O2 sensor. After a couple days called them again. Possibly the sensor was a bad one and they would order another. No-one calls. We were assured we would be kept "in the loop" after the first O2 sensor, but we call again. Someone else takes over so we will definately know what is going on.hahaha We were told cars are very complicated and the tech's were stumped and at this point Ford Canada must OK any work at this point so as they can get paid for it. I can sympathize with a tech as vehicles have gotten much more complicated. Now a Tech from Ford will come and look at our vehicle. No one ever did come but they would tell them over the phone what they should try next. Anyway to keep it short because it is a long story they checked lots of wiring, changed spark plugs, changed oil and filter, changed fuel injectors and finally changed the catalytic converter. Of course they had to put in more gas which we were charged for to have it running for all of this. It did only have a quarter tank when we brought it in. No biggie. We did get a loner car after a little more than a week into it. Very disappointed that nobody could call to let us know what was happening after it taking 1 MONTH to repair. It cost Ford Canada over $4,400 and over $700 for rental. If it was me it would have been an extra 25%. This is a leased vehicle with 48,000 km's do I want to buy it out??? Not to sure... Not to sure about the service received either. If they had have only called once in while would have made thing a lot better.

Poor communication. Just an unsatisfactory visit that should have been a lot easier on me as the customer. It was a warranty claim that my service advisor didn’t seem to care much about. I had to do a lot of the running around in order to get anything accomplished. I spoke to the parts department and found part numbers for my advisor to speed the process along. I’m also waiting for a phone call from the dealership currently on 3 recall notices I was sent about my other ford vehicle (2016 Explorer). I made the phone call at least a month ago and was told that they needed to get parts in and that they would be in touch within the next few days about the next steps. Not happy with my experience.

I really appreciate dealing with Mike North in Service. Yesterday I came to switch off my winter tires and there was a scheduling mix-up (not sure if mine or theirs) but he made sure I got in when I showed up. Last summer I damaged my side mirror and went right there to see what could be done. They recommended a used part to save me money and when I was obviously overwhelmed by the thought of trying to locate one, Mike stepped up and made all the arrangements for me. This not only saved me a good bit of money, but took all the stress out of what was a very upsetting event. Now I come here regularly for oil changes, just to get my reports and recommendations as they are always helpful. The fluid top ups and other small things, done automatically, are also appreciated. I left Kitchener at 3:30 AM on a 1600 km trip to Fort Frances. Once on the 401 my F150 would just loose all power about ever 70 km. I would coast to a stop and then restart and be on my way. I was just to the border when it didn’t easily restart. I found googled for directions to the nearest ford dealer and manage to limp my truck to Lambton ford. It was 6:30 am so was just waiting for them to open when an employee plugged up. I asked about getting my truck fixed and he directed my to a service door where Mike a service rep had me drive inside and took all the information and said he would have a service tech look at it 1st thing. By 9 they knew the throttle body had failed and ordered one from another dealership. When I Was told about the part not being in stock I expected I would have to stay overnight but they had the part couriered And it arrived by lunch. They had me back on the road by 1:30 and felt very bad that I was delayed. Well this is one of the best service experiences I have ever had. The team at Lambton really cares about their customers. I felt so helpless and they turn a bad experience into a great experience. As having run a service shop for many years these are all top notch employees. I watch about 15 customers be helped by 4 different service reps and they all took the time to fully explain what had been done to solve the customers problem or what would be done. Well just want to say thank you to Mike, Rob and all the staff for getting me back on way. Sorry 5 stars are not enough for this dealership!!!

The customer service in all aspects involved of buying my first car was fantastic! If I have 1 negative comment, it was pretty frustrating to buy a brand new car in that models year, and drive it off the lot with barely enough gas to get me to the gas station. Changing my review from a 2 star to a 5 as the Lambton Ford Service team did a wonderful job of taking care of my Fx4 this time around. Great Customer Service! I will definitely be dealing with them in the future! ------------------------ Had my 2012 F150 looked at for Bluetooth issue and 4x4 noise. I have 3 years of Bumper to Bumper warranty. Instead of consulting with me on these issues and looking at the truck and maybe taking a quick test drive with me it was booked in for diagnostics which is good but a little customer service with someone who has paid over $3K in Warranty could have gone a long way here. I was charged the measly $40 for diagnostics when nothing was wrong. I just didn't know some details about this truck I bought from Ford last year. I just expect after paying for a good warranty like that could have triggered a moment where the tech took a few minutes with me to quickly look over the truck and I would have been on my way instead of booking me in for the day where I didn't have my truck and had to be shuttled to and from work. Customer Service wasn't the greatest but getting me in quick and at least giving me a shuttle to and from work was helpful.

Unfortunately, one big mistake. Check your manual before the visit. Came with a problem that was diagnosed and later fixed, but was informed I need service: engine oil change - because of bad colour (manual says that is normal and according to car computer still 61 % good), and based on my mileage I need spark plugs service (according to manual I have still 30 000km) and transmission fluid flush (still 130 000km!!! before is needed). When part needed for fix arrived the service was scheduled. I was asked to leave my car and assured it will be done before noon. After 1pm I called and was informed it will be ready in few hours. Furious, I mentioned I need my car and was asked to wait for call back. In 5 min My car was ready. To make things worst, on my way to destination I heard flapping noise from under my engine. Had to visit another mechanic (at that moment I was hour away from Sarnia) just to be informed that the engine undercover was not properly installed - all the screws were missing. Sorry, but it was my last visit.

When met with a few set-backs on the Production (ie. assembly) side of my 2021 Ford Bronco, Reg Hanlon and Kraig Willems were always willing to go the extra mile to find out the most up-to-date information and were always prompt in communication the current status of my "Bucky". I knew what I was getting into reserving and purchasing a first year model of a vehicle that hasn't been mass-produced in 25yrs+ but ended up being pleasantly surprised with how I was treated as a customer at a dealership. Love my new Lincoln MKC! Peet Buys was the best salesperson that really listened to what I wanted and needed. UPDATE: APRIL 3/19 My welcome lighting stopped working in January and in early February I took it in for service. The lights that display the logo and my headlights that should come on as long as I have my key fob as I approach the vehicle hasn't worked in 3 months and although I know they have looked at it several times there's still no resolution. I'm quite disappointed at this time, not with the service team, but with how the vehicle is failing on this issue. I was initially disappointed in the service dept but I know they kept trying to find a resolution. UPDATE from June 2019 After my suggestion to check the other vehicles on the lot with the same problem and finding some worked and some didn't it was finally determined that since I don't drive a lot during my work week and sometimes not at all on the weekend the alternator was not charging the battery sufficiently and the luxury of the welcome lighting was the first thing to stop working. After a few more times in service they thought it was trouble with the battery and charged it overnight. Lights worked for a few days and then stopped again. It got to the point that my infotainment screen stopped working so I brought it back right away. This time the service dept. installed a new battery, charged it and advised me to drive it a little more often. So, my husband and I use my vehicle whenever we go anywhere together and it is now Nov. 1 and all is good! Sad that the engineers couldn't determine a fix but glad the service techs finally came through. It was a bit of a bumpy road to get there but each time the service team was very pleasant and apologized for all the inconvenience. Warren, the service manager (I believe) in particular, is always the most pleasant, courteous and friendly person to deal with. Oct. 2020 Had routine oil change and tire rotation scheduled and completed quickly. While there I advised of a climate control issue. After my regular service they investigated and were able to replace a sensor and the problem was resolved without another appointment so very happy.

Had an experience last week where my car was leaking oil like crazy. Found out I need 2 seals and a gasket replaced. My car had lost almost all of its oil. This concerned me as the prior day I had been on the highway driving. Taking my car in to Lambton Ford was the best thing I could have done. They advised me that it would take a few days to get the parts in so I left my vehicle with them. When they finally called to say that it was ready I was expecting a huge bill for the repairs. To my surprise and delight I was advised that there was “no charge” to me! I had an issue earlier in the year with a broken dipstick that need to be replaced and they attributed this new issue to the prior one. Excellent service from them! In and out in a timely manner for the service that I was having done. They have a lounge for customers to wait in while their vehicle is being serviced. One of the main criticisms I would give them though is that they are poor at communicating over the phone. They sent me a recall notice, and told me to get in contact with them to book an appointment to have the issue fixed. I called 3 separate times, each with no answer, and left 3 separate voicemails, all requesting that they call me back to get my recall notice sorted out. It wasnt until I called a different department on my 4th try, and explained to them that I hadn't heard back from the service department despite having left 3 messages, that they finally got into contact with the service department for me. They had to actually walk the phone over to the service department for me and hand it to the person who was responsible for having not returned my calls. They cited "phone problems" as the reason why they had not returned my call in a timely manner.

I made an appointment with Mike to have oil change and I also mentioned that I am hearing something whenever I press my brake pedal and the ABS light comes on from time to time. Mike was very kind enough to listen the problem I posed. After awhile he called and said that there is problem with the sensors and need to be replaced. So I said to go ahead with the job. Hopefully this will correct the problem and never to recur. Mike said that there is a 2 year warranty. Mike is pretty good in doing his job. And that's the reason I talk to Mike whenever I need and an oil change or something else.

I suddenly had no A/C in my car. I took it to the dealership (Lambton Ford) and described what happened. The car was instantly taken in by one of the technicians and diagnosed. I was informed the part needed would arrive the next day so I chose to leave the car there that night. I was then taken home by their shuttle service. About mid morning the next day I was contacted that the car was ready. The shuttle came, picked me up and brought me to the dealership where I retrieved my car. This was my first vehicle purchase. I absolutely love my Ford Edge. It had an alignment issue as soon as I drove it off the lot. The mechanic (Mike) was very helpful and nice when I brought my car in. The only down fall: My salesperson went back on her word about the winter mats after I had purchased the vehicle. Winter mats were included with the deal. When I had picked up my car they had forgotten to put the mats in. I had a face to face conversation about this with my salesperson and she said they forget all the time and would be ready when I came back in for my service. When I had made an appointment to get my car serviced, I had emailed her asking for them to be ready. Her response was "The mats are not included, that was a one day deal". This made me very upset as I had just purchased a very expensive vehicle and my first one at that. It made me feel very unappreciated as a customer and I won't very be dealing with that dealership again because of this salesperson. I had emailed her back very upset and asked for her manager and she never responded. I didn't want to deal with this dealership anymore as I was sick of the "run around" I had already gone through. Needless to say, this salesperson ruined my experience of purchasing a new vehicle and I wouldn't recommend going the dealership or salesperson to anyone.

After I had my oil changed, the tech noticed the serpentine belt was cracked. So I took a chance and went to Lambton Ford on New Years Eve day no less. They took me right in, and found a proper belt and told me it would be started after lunch and would take an hour to change out. The tech that was going to do my job came right in and worked through his lunch. These people are awesome. Great personalities too!. I was back in my vehicle less than a hour after leaving it. Perfect. Allowed me to enjoy my New Years Eve.

Went to buy my first car and had a terrible experience. First off, the salesmen told me the car was clean and it wasn't. The car had been in an accident and the only reason I found out was because I demanded a car fax. Demand being the key-word here as the salesman rudely tried to deny me the fax unless I promised to buy the car since the fax costs $50. I have been taking my vehicles to a local business for oil changes for years. After buying my new F-150, ford told me about a loyalty program they have where you can get a free oil change every few. I also found the price was similar to those 10 minute express outlets I had been using. Even better, ford lifts your vehicle and rotates the tires for an extra ten dollars. They also told me I can get the same loyalty program with my wifes honda. The staff was friendly as usual. I would recommend this place for oil service to everyone!

Got F150 Truck detailed via Lambton Ford, and noticed several logistics issues, namely: Got on Lambton Ford website and found no link to any detailing services offered. Then called Lambton Ford general number and they directed me to "someone in the finance department" to make a booking appointment. Left an answering machine message with that mysterious person. After waiting 2 days still never got a response! Then walked over to the detailing shop and talked to "Tyler" directly and he made all the arrangements happen immediately. The day of the appointment for detailing I drove the truck to the detailing shop on Confederation Street. Then informed that I needed to take the truck to Lambton Ford to "log in" the appointment. When detailing job was complete, I called to Lambton Ford and got the communication run-around. There was no contact "point person", talked to several people in different departments and no one really knew if the job was done or where the truck was located. There should be a clear list of instructions on the Lambton Ford website on how to get a vehicle detailed, especially considering that the detailing shop is not located on the premises of Lambton Ford and the detailing shop cannot take payment on site. I understand that this detailing shop is a new sideline business and can appreciate the growing pains. With all this said......Tyler at the detailing shop did a spectacular job !!!

Like the brand but not particularly impressed with after sale support. Vehicle pick up date postponed, dealer did not install new tires as promised. Had to schedule a date to have tires installed and when I picked it up I found that the tires were take off (used) tires. The tires were very dirty and covered with bead grease and chipped chrome on the rims from mounting. Didn't even take the 10 minutes to clean them.

Had my car towed to Lambton Ford Motors to have an estimate for insurance, had them repair it after OK with insurance. Waited 36 days to get the car and when I did go to pick it up there was 2 big deep scratches, 1 scratch on the door and the other on the back quarter panel,very noticeable, I got into a dispute on the back corner panel as they said there was a dent prior to receiving it initially and I never had a dent initially but was referencing to a scratch.Car was dusty out and in and never seen all the other scratches the first time as the car was dusty. Never accepted it and day 45 went again to pick it up again and this time it had dings on the same side along with scratches on the spoiler and others. Took it home and never washed it as this time I'd let the owner see it and made arrangements. He seen it, had it cleaned and when I went tp pick it up there was another dent on the same side in another spot. I gave up and now am getting a professional to look at it to see what they can do to restore to what it was. Second time some what same problem before never a 3rd time'' be-aware''

I have been needing a new car for some time now and have spent time researching what would be the best for me. As a 25 year old I didn’t really have a particular company in mind but I did know what style I liked, as well as needing something good on gas since I drive back and forth from work and drive from Hamilton to home (Chatham-Kent) and visit frequently. I actually spent time looking in Hamilton first since it is currently more convenient. However, everywhere I went I was treated poorly and not taken seriously (bad deals/offers/talked down too) because of my age. My dad actually recommended me go to Lambton ford because my mom went there, she got a great trade in deal and a better deal on her 2018 Ford Focus! When I got there I had the opportunity of working with Paul who not only helped me find exactly what I was looking for but was patient and kind and wanted to ensure I tried everything I was interested in to confirm I was happy with my choice. They went above and beyond helping me get a great deal on my car and even went as far as delivering it to Hamilton as I am returning to work and had to be there that week! (Talk about service! ????????) I would highly recommend if you are looking for a new car, especially a Ford, it’s an absolute must to go to Lambton Ford Lincoln and work with Paul, Julie and all the staff there. As for the car, I’m obsessed with my 2019 Ecosport. It’s comfortable and reliable, it’s very modern with all these sleek features including the screen. And the Ford app is awesome. I can start my car from my phone and get updates on “health checks” which will keep me up to date on anything that may need to be serviced on my car to keep it at its best!

I had a terrible experience dealing with Lambton ford. I have taken my truck in there 4 times now and the last time it was there for a week. There is a very loud rubbing sound on the driver side tire when I slow down and have the steering wheel positioned to the left. After the last time my truck was there whic was for an entire week they brought it back and said “ the problem is 75% better” This is unacceptable if you ask me I bought a 68k truck and wanted it fixed not just a bit better. After the first time taking my truck out after they brought it back the problem isn’t better it all is in fact quite a bit worse. Now I am trying to get them to fix it and no one seems to wanna get back to me after 2 straight days of me calling them. This is completely ridiculous and a pathetic way to run your business get your act together Lambton ford my next step will be to contact a lawyer if this problem using fixed.

In the past I always took my vehicle to Lambton Ford for service and was very happy with the results. This time we took our Chevy van in for specific tires that they sell and was told (by Warren) they have the tool to complete the TPMS relearning system. In the end we were told (by Ron) the rear sensors were bad and had to be replaced which was not correct, and even their senior tech (Jim) confirmed this but did not know how to relearn the system. We ended up taking the van to the Chevy service and was in/out in 15 minutes with the TPMS system fully functional. In hind-sight, we should have purchased the tires and gone straight to the Chevy service for installation.

I requested a third brake light to be connected to my topper. A day or two latter I noticed the wiring had been run on the exterior of the frame in the left and right wheel opening where they are in the direct path of snow rain stones etc. I returned complaining about this. The wire was then covered only on the right side of the truck and not the left. I have not had the opportunity or desire to return to have this rectified. I am giving one star for just this one particular visit. Any other visits I have had have been good. Long story short, there was a recall I needed fixed and we would also need a loaner vehicle because we all work full time . I told the service tech that it would be my daughter bringing in the truck . When she arrived they would not even give her a vehicle off the lot because she was only 18 . She was also on her way to work and pressed for time (she works full time as well to pay for the car that is with Lambton ford ) she was treated horribly by service reception as was I when I spoke to them about the situation. I informed them that it would be my son picking up my truck and to relieve my daughter so she could go to work and reception was hesitant about releasing MY truck to my son. Bottom line it turned into a long drawn out bad day and I was very disappointed . Very hesitant about booking my maintenance this month because I don't have the time or patience to deal with that fiasco again .

My husband and I had occasion to factory order a new vehicle and did so from Lambton Ford Lincoln. What a great decision that was! From greeting to ordering to picking up our new car, everything went very smoothly. Our salesperson Dylan was informative and straight forward, something that we both appreciated. Katie, the Financial Service Manager explained the warranty to us and introduced us to various products that were available to us with regards to our purchase. As for our salesperson Dylan, he actually went way beyond the 'call of duty' with our purchase and offered to download our favourite CD's to a USB port so that we could listen to all of our favourite tunes! Because a mail strike was imminent he actually drove an hour to our home to personally deliver our music and new ownership. Personal thanks to the Dealer Principal Rob Ravensburg for heading up such an efficient dealership with such personable staff. I have a 18 month old F150 that bought new from Lambton. I have had to bring there for service at least 13 times. Sick and tired of the problems with this truck. It was a lemon from day one and neither Ford Canada or Lambton Ford will do the right thing and replace it. The service guys there are doing their best but if the product is JUNK things will never be right. I am trying to get all the issues fixed while it is under warranty but it is frustrating cause it seems to never end..... now the hood wont open.... uhhhh back I go again.... 2 star rating because the service guys are nice but for FORD Canada ZERO ... should of listened to Dad and bought a Chev

Our 2015 Ford Edge vehicle went in for a 6.5 hour job covered under warranty. I believe Service had significantly overbooked for the week since I did not get the vehicle back until 4 days later. We did get a courtesy vehicle but unfortunately all Enterprise (who provides the vehicle) had was a dual cab Ford 150 pickup (it had to be a Ford product) which was to be my wife's transport for the 4 days. To say she was not comfortable driving around town was an understatement. The Services department perform the work well but I believe they take on more than they can handle.

Great service from the sales team. Worked with me for financing and getting me into a truck. Maintenance department on the other hand had nothing but attitude, from the 1 receptionist/mechanic, when I brought the truck in for warranty work. Printed me out 2 bills, 1 for the work with my warranty deductible and 1 for, "what the job really should have cost me." Took 4 business days and a weekend to fix my window switches. Now 6 months later and the weathers getting cold, my door skins are lifting because they broke all the plastic clips and didn't mention it. Went from high praise to I doubt I'll go back!

We made an appointment with Lambton Ford Lincoln on Indian Road in Sarnia, Ontario to have our winter tires changed over to our summer tires. Our appointment was for 1 pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. We arrived for our scheduled appointment on time and left our car with the employee in the service department and went inside the lounge to wait for our car to be worked on. While we were waiting, my husband went outside to look at the new Rangers that were on the lot with the thought of trading in our Escape on one of these new Rangers that he likes so much. He returned to the lounge after about 10 minutes saying that no one had even approached him to offer to help. There were 4 car sales people inside the offices and not one of them even came out to ask if he needed any help. I told him to go back out and see if anyone came which he did and still no one offered to help him in any way. At approximately 1:20 pm an employee came into the lounge to inform us that the service department was behind schedule. I glanced out at the service center and saw that our car had not even been moved yet. I asked the employee who had just came into the lounge how much longer he thought we would have to wait before they started on our car and he said he did not know and that I would have to ask someone in the service bay. I went to the service bay and asked when the work on our vehicle would be started and I was informed that he did not know. I told him that we needed to have it done as soon as possible because we had other appointments scheduled for the rest of the day (one of which was to pick up our dog from the groomer) and we needed it done as soon as possible. I mentioned that our groomer was expecting us to pick up our dog around 1:30 to 1:45 and he rudely informed me in no uncertain terms that he could not change wheels in 8 minutes. I said I understood that and that I was not so stupid to think he could. He said he was not being facetious and I said that I thought he was. He then asked what could he do to help me. I told him I had to leave to pick up my dog from the groomer and he allowed me to take our car out of the shop to go and get her. He guaranteed me that our car would go right in as soon as we got back to have the work done on it. When we returned our car was indeed taken right in and the wheels changed in 25 minutes. The mechanic who did the work on our vehicle was efficient and appeared highly trained in his job as he worked quickly and with great care. We have no complaints about him. Our complaint is with the service department employee who was rude and facetious to us. If they knew that our car couldn't be done at the scheduled time, they should have called us earlier in the day and told us they were running behind and to bring our car in at a later time. Our time is just as important as their time and we feel we weren't treated with respect that should be given a long time Ford employee (33 years} or any other person who enters this establishment. A simple phone call to us to reschedule at 2 pm would have saved all concerned a lot of unnecessary problems. This company also lost the sale of one of their vehicles as my husband will now go elsewhere to purchase his Ranger since no one here thought it was worth their time to help him on the lot.

It has now been fixed twice under the extended warranty that we purchased when we bought the car March 2012.Cost to us the 1st time $100. When it failed approx. a year later it was repaired at NO cost to us under the extended warranty. We were treated well by the staff on both occasions. Also have been having the car serviced regularly every10,000 km. at Quick Lane where the service has also been good.Just went over 100,000 km.2 weeks ago. A small body molding (key hole cover drivers door) was put in for warranty coverage Feb. 9, 2016. Checked in with the service people a few times to be told that it wasn't approved yet, must be backordered, told that they would look into it and call me, but no call. I finally talked to the Service Manager who got back to me within 2 weeks that it was approved. After not hearing anything for a while, I had to place another call to someone higher up. It was finally installed in late June as it supposedly took Ford over 3 months to say yes to the warranty coverage. Then someone did not order the part once it was approved. Very disappointed as the part could have been installed by my usual body shop for approx. $100 within a few days of ordering it.

I made a list of what I wanted done. Two were to take spare tire off and oil the threads that hold the spare tire to the truck, check air and put the spare back on the truck. Second, change the gas filter. I was left feeling this was not done. My tires were rotated which was not needed. Being that was done a few weeks ago by Highberry Ford London,Ont. When they put my winter tires on. Everything else was fine.

I felt that I had worked out a great deal and was happy with it. When I returned to pick up my new SUV, and sign papers, everything I thought I had worked into the deal was missing. I was rushed through the paper signing, therefore I didnt notice until after I was home, the warranty I bought extra, that had been explained to me as an extended warranty, only added 20 000 extra kilometers. I was lead to believe this was supposed to add an extra 80 000 and 5 years to my existing one. I ordered the extra years plates, yet I only got one for 2018. Some of the extras I had worked into deal showed up a week later. But I was also charged for these things anyway. It has now been 3 weeks and I still have not heard back about my plates, warranty, cargo mat, the paint chips that were to be fixed, or my hat. I love my Escape and have a lot of compliments on it, as for my whole experience I feel like I was just treated like "The Little Woman"

I was a little concerned this year with the changes that were made in personnel but those concerns have been put to bed with the professionalism and communication from this team.
