Seven years ago we were in the market for a new vehicle and my wife and I did our due diligence, spending hours researching cars online and test driving. We look at the whole engagement of the vehicle purchasing experience, which means we care a great deal about how the dealership engages us, not just the vehicle itself. We felt the best car for our wants and needs at that time was a 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring Sport GLS. The experience of dealing with the sales staff was excellent. Very easy going, no pressure, very accommodating. So we purchased the Elantra and entered into an ongoing relationship with Glen Fenwick and his team at Fenwick Motors. Our experience throughout our visits for service were excellent. Very professional and helpful. So much so, that we decided to bring our 2007 Dodge Caravan there for all mechanical maintenance and repairs ( other than tires and brakes ). This November, we were looking at another purchase. Now, I'm not one to be brand loyal, especially for cars as a lot can change in 7 years, so back I went on a 50 hour research project, scouring the internet for reviews, tests and comparisons of mid-sized sedans and SUV's. We decided that the SUV was going to be our next purchase and we looked at all the competition ( except Chrysler and GM...not a fan ). Between the various online reviews scoring the Hyundai Sante Fe as one of the best mid-sized SUV's, it was further confirmation for us that Consumer Reports named it as THE best mid-sized SUV and JD Power and Associations named it most reliable in it's class ( based upon customer feedback from the 2014 models, so after 3 years of use ). We did test drive many other vehicles and although it ended up being a very close decision for us between the Sante Fe and the Kia Sorento, the one thing that stood out to us was our experience at Fenwick Motors dealership. We were waffling between new and used and came across a demo at the Mississauga dealership. We were prepared to drive down there and buy it, but we wanted to give Fenwick the opportunity to give us a purchase we couldn't pass up...and they did! My wife has wanted a Sante Fe for years and she normally drives this vehicle. She has never wanted nor enjoyed a vehicle as much as this. I am thrilled on her behalf, but make no mistake, I really like this vehicle also. It has all the features we wanted, smooth, quiet ride, very spacious for people and stuff and we love the appearance inside and out. The colour we went with ( Marlin Blue, a blue-grey colour ) for discontinued for the 2018 model year, further emphasizing our appreciation for the exact vehicle we were able to find. Even with looking into most options out there and spending a lot of time in research, we landed back where we were and we're pleased with that. Glen and his team are awesome people and I hope they continue to enjoy the success and then some, that they have enjoyed thus far. Jim, David, George, Tara, Jeremy have all been staff who have made our visits there a great experience. Keep up the good work!

After that we had decided we wanted an Impreza, they helped us find the right model for us, helped us work out the math etc. Turned out that a brand new one would cost us less because of the lower financing rate in our case. Everyone at Glen Fenwick Subaru does everything they can to make you 100% happy and they stay true to their word for that. I live in Toronto and they even offered to have the car delivered to my home - super convenient! They give you a copy of your car's alignment before it's released from the dealer, and a lot more! There's an option to even get a VISA card that gives you 2.7 cents off every litre, who doesn't want to save any money! Would highly recommend this dealer even if it is 3 hours away or more!

Bought a set of rims but received damaged. Scratches, and dents are all over the place. Contacted them and they refused to replace/repair. The dealer and Subaru Canada just kicked the ball to each other, and won’t take the responsibility. The rims costed me $2000, all they said was sorry for your frustration. Should have checked the rims upon receiving them, and shouldn’t trusted Subaru. I am driving my second Subaru now, but never anything from Subaru again.

I bought a brand new 2015 Forest about 5 years ago. I had a lot of trouble with Fenwick during the purchase. Incorrect paperwork, they had problems with my trade in quote and I had to cough up another $2000 after everything was done. Shane promised me a "gift" as a token for my patience, which I never received. I asked a lot of questions about the service department and got the brush off because Shane only wanted to sell me another vehicle and wasn't at all interested by the fact that I was willing to be a loyal customer to the service department. It is very difficult to get off their mailing lists and you will receive a lot of spam. The service department guys have been great, but maintenance has been through the roof. Everytime I turned around a regular/preventative maintenance procedure would cost me $800-$900. I'm on my 3rd set of wheel bearings in 4 years. I contacted Glen Fenwick about some of my dissatisfaction and basically received the brush off. This will be my first and last Subaru and I won't be dealing with Fenwick again.

I can't say enough good about these guys and Subaru, First off, I think Subarus are great cars. We're now on number 2, the first was an Outback that we put 310,000 kms and it was a great car. We recently purchased a 2014 Forester from Jeff and his team. We were driving the car over 3,300 kms to St. John's, NL in the first few weeks. Just before we left for the road trip, the car started acting up, something wasn't quite right. This happened on a Friday afternoon a few days before we were to leave. Reached out to Jeff and he was on it within minutes. He called a repair shop very close to us and arranged to have them diagnose the problem. Once we knew what was up, he had a tow truck pick up the car to take back to their dealership. On the Saturday, someone drove to Subaru Canada to get the required parts and we were on the list for first thing Monday morning to replace the parts and get us on our way. The car was ready by 10:30, we thanked them, and hit the road. We were able to stay on schedule and make it to St. John's on time (3,441 kms!). Jeff took a very stressful situation and turned it around. I can't thank him and the team enough for helping us out. It is an 8 year old car, long out of warranty but they took care of everything. These guys are great, you won't be disappointed if you deal with them. We've known Jeff for a long time, he will always do right by you, no matter what happens. Thanks so much for your great service, and a great car to boot!

Purchased a pre-owned BRZ in 2019 from Tim. Had an amazing experience buying the vehicle, felt no pressure to purchase. Tim was informative and helpful when making sure I was going to be happy with the car. Recently brought my car in for service and alignment. I had another great experience with the service team. My steering was slightly off after I got my vehicle back and they didn't hesitate to book me another appointment asap so they could fix the steering. I had my car in for some warranty work. That went fine. I told the service advisor that my brakes were making some noise, and they said that the mechanic checked the brakes and said they were fine. My brakes were still making more noise, so i took the car to my regular mechanic and he told me there was one pad that was warn off and it was steel on steel... Not sure how they could have missed this.
