We phoned and talked to the staff. the man was not able to speak English, but his wife could translate well. They ASSURED us there were no mechanical issues with the car we were interested in, a Hyundai Elantra. We were very clear that we had to drive for 3 hours to see the car, and we very clearly told then that my husband was a mechanic and would inspect the car for problems. the wife said"no problem with the vehicle, if there was, my husband would tell me" We drove to see the car. the car had major issues. My husband uncovered the problems, then the staff man came out of the office with a paper that had a list of several issues adding up to $500. This was an understatement. The cost was much higher, as both shock towers needed to be replaced too. They were only willing to take $100 off the price, when the repairs would be more that $1,000. We drove back home without a car. 6 hours of driving and a whole day wasted for nothing. I suspect that these people thought that we were the usual people, we would buy the car and go home, unsuspecting of all the problems it had. Very unethical.

I cannot recommend buying here, especially if you are not located in Quebec. I had ongoing emails with the owner, Jeffrey, about purchasing a car. We got to the point where I had a loan taken out to buy the car (they don't finance or give warranty if not in Quebec) and he suddenly stopped responding. This was after asking about any issues with the car where he revealed there was a dent which was not previously mentioned. I have sent multiple emails over the course of 3 days with no response. I am very upset as I had found the perfect car for me and had hoped for a smooth buying process.

Il pouvait laisser tomber et ne pas me les envoyer de leur place jusqu'à montreal et payer la poste. Mais ils ont voulu faire encore une fois preuve de confiance et transparence.
