I don't know where to begin, from the moment I contacted Disbrowe online I knew that this was the place to get my first car. I spoke with Tony who is a sales person, and we talked about the car I wanted. We made plans to come see it in person, upon my arrival he was very prepared and had everything ready to go. Once I decided that this was the car for me, we started the purchasing process. This was when I met Drew, who helped me secure a financing loan to buy my car! Both Drew and Tony worked tirelessly to get me a loan that was manageable financially speaking. I didn't go into this with any expectations, because I've never purchased a car before. The staff at Disbrowe are professional, kind and overall amazing. I never felt pressured when it came to making decisions, which was something I thought I may experience in general as a woman looking for a vehicle. Tony and Drew kept in contact with me and updated me with the process. Once it was confirmed that I had secured the loan we made a plan for pickup. They put the car in the shop to ensure it was ready for me. The pickup process was great, I was taken on a tour of the place and showed me where I go for service. They even have a little play area which is great because I have small children. I met almost everyone there including the General Manager. Everyone was just so kind, they made me feel special. It was like each person that purchases a car from Disbrowe are immediately welcomed into this big family. Once my plates were on the car we went out and Tony showed me everything, and explained everything I needed to know about the vehicle. He ensured that I was absolutely informed and secure with everything before I drove off. I seriously recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle. This dealership has thought of everything that anyone may need. The staff are a joy to be around and very knowledgeable. I will be a Disbrowe client for life. I'm so impressed and greatful for what they were able to help me accomplish. Thank you so much.

To be honest, I have been disappointed in the service. I had a specific appointment time for 9:30am which was placed days ahead. Made the appointment that time because I work a split shift. My vehicle was supposed to be done at 12noon. At noon the service rep calls and says that my vehicle hasn't been started. I was originally told that to replace my brakes it would take 3 hours. Now I am panicking because I need to have my vehicle done, me picked up by the shuttle and get to work by 3pm. Magically they got my vehicle done in 1.5 hours but put me through a lot of unnecessary stress.

The overall experience was good. The only thing I am not pleased with is that once we agreed on a price I was then informed that taxes and fees were extra. I'm fine with the taxes, The "fees" included a $300 admin fee plus a $200 security package fee. I was told by their finance guy that the security package is mandatory. I consulted with another dealership after the fact and was told that there is no such thing as a "mandatory" fee. In my opinion the security package is just a money-grab. I'm told that if the vehicle is stolen within 3 years of purchase and it is considered a write-off or it's not recovered, I get $3000 above what the insurance company will offer me toward a replacement vehicle. Here's the catch - the vehicle must be purchased at Disbrowe Motors. They are a GM dealership. I bought a used Mazda 3 and the chances there's another Mazda 3 on the lot are pretty slim. No offence, but I would not replace a Mazda 3 with a Chevrolet Cruze (see Consumer Reports). This "security package" is something I would most definitely not have signed up for if I was given the details up front - which I wasn't. Shame on me for not asking about it before agreeing to the total price. I had naively thought that a dealership would be more forthright than a used-car lot. I was wrong.

This location is alright for service and the prices for oil change is great. However if you have brand new car you should take it to the actual dealer your bought it from since for some reason they could not reset my Hyundai Santafé computer for service.

I had a recall for my gmc terrain last november 18 and put my car in for the service. The people are nice but when they said the service is finished and I checked the engine some cables and cover are not connected properly. The hose connected to the eco tec box the battery cover. And my "DIAMOND KOTE" box is broken. The Manager said she will contact diamond kote. I called them on November 22 to ask them if they are going to fix it. She said she already ordered the cover and it will be delivered friday but until now I never heard any from them. I have photos to show if you wanna see....

Updated Post..... Todd the service manger contacted me to discuss my issues and commented he read my Google review. I’m quite satisfied with the way things were handle and my concerns have been met for the most part at no cost to me. I’ve been assured that if there are any issues in the future regarding the same problem that they will be taken care of. Todd is a stand up guy and Disbrowe should be proud to have him on their team, he just kept a loyal GM customer happy and coming back to Disbrowe. Original Post!! Rather disappointed with the service department 3 days after warranty expires and they won’t do anything for me after I called and left a message a week ago to make a service appointment for a warranty repair. I’ve been a Loyal GM purchaser for 25 years and have family members who work for and have retired from GM. Shameful actions for a GM dealership. Wanted to order a part #15811584, wasent stocked to I had to prepay. Couldn't take Visa debit over the phone so would have had to drive in to St Thomas to pay for it and then the next day go back when the part came in. Prepayment not required at APC, Napa or Carquest. Checked Amazon and part was available next day and for $5 less.

Please be carefully when you buy a pre-owner car whit this guys, bring your own mechanic. Not thrust in them. I bought a truck that is a headache several little problem, like key get stuck, airbag light etc. They say nothing g can be warranty!!! I can't add any further answer, I just paid more than 400 just for the key issue

If you don't like reading reviews then in short - YES, definitely go to Disbrowe. If you're still reading...I got my 2015 Terrain there a couple of weeks ago and love it. Dave (Sales) was great, answered my questions without any pressure. Jamie (Sales Manager), introduced himself and worked out a deal I happily accepted. Karen (Owner) also introduced herself and welcomed me to the dealership. The whole purchase went smoothly without any pressure or problems. When everything is good, it's easy to give great service, the deciding factor is usually when there's issues. Thankfully the only 2 I have had were immediately looked at and taken care of under warranty without hesitation. That's the kind of service that will bring people back! This was my first purchase at Disbrowe but they will definitely be a place I go back to for other purchases.

Very horrible experience. They said it would take a half an hour for a oil change and to balance my tires they lied it took them almost 2 an half hours. I've been here twice now and they have done this both times. The workers were very ignorant towards me when i asked why it was taking so long. I am very disappointed with the service here would not recommened buying or getting any sorta work on your cars done here. I am never ever come back to this dealership. The dealership in London is more efficient than the one here in St.Thomas.

I purchased my 2012 Orlando thru Desborowe got a great deal. Then the calls start coming. Come do this see this sale ECT. Then 2 recall notices come 2 months after buying it. Time to get recall taken care of made an appointment for 8 am showed up first at 7 45. Wait till it opens then a truck pulls up to door blocking entrance. He gets in first and his vehicle is serviced I am told it will be 2 hours wait. And the service person was rude and should not be in a service roll. . Long story short don't waste your time on the service here you will wait 2 hours longer than you think.

Not happy with how my last visit went. Went in for an oil change and routine inspection. Came out some how with my horn not working and air bag light on. When I called them back and mentioned this I was told that the horn was not touched. But when I went in the horn was working before the inspection. So they told me it would cost me about$109.99 for them just to look at it I will not be going back ever and now I dont have a horn and my airbag light is on.

Don't ever go to #disbrows to get a vehicle my sales rep jack was absolutely amazing but that was about the only person in there that's not rude and snoby don't bother getting a warranty either that's useless I picked up my suv when I got home I noticed deep scratches in the windshield I called them they told my they would look at it when I take it for my first oil change witch I thought was pretty stupid said ok now I go for oil change and they have no record I called about windshield and will not fix it

Where else do the dealership owners take the time to sit down with you, congratulate on your purchase and walk you out to your car? None that I've ever experienced, except at Disbrowe. My daughter & her boyfriend talked to saleman this morning just went to purchase a 2015 Chevy Silverado they where told 60k all in will work over the phone they left for the bank around 2pm and just walked into the house now at 7pm with no truck they agreed on 60k and was told it was going to be almost 2000 more after they had already arrived test drove and ready to pay all because they "paid to much for the truck" not sure how that's an issue for the person you've already made a deal with and got them to waste there day going to the bank and driving almost 2 hours to this place and 2 hours back I'm sure he would have be happier to hear that 60k would not cut it for the truck on the phone then be hyped up and told to come down and that " 60k will work there not going to loose a customer for a couple thousand" next time Just be honest over the phone and don't make people waste there day they could have looked at other vehicles.!

The experience I had with Disbrowe was a very positive experience. The attention to detail with their COVID screening upon entry into the showroom showed me that they care deeply for staff protection as well as the customers safety. Our salesperson was Andrea she was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we where interested in but didn’t hesitate to ask other staff for answers she didn’t know. Andrea made the purchasing of our new Sierra a customer is first experience not just another sale.The other person we dealt with was Drew who was the finance manager, he set us up with a great extended warranty program and wasn’t trying to upsell all the extras which I appreciated. My overall experience was a10 at Disbrowe and will definitely recommend to my friends if they are in the market for a vehicle.

Realistically, the experience I had at the Disbrowe GM dealership was the worst experience I have encountered at any shop (privately owned or dealership). Here's why: My vehicle went in for service for a timing belt & water pump, among other work that I won't get into. I was promised that the work would be completed the same day. I live 1.5 hours from the dealership, so it was imperative my vehicle was ready by the end of the day. While waiting in the lobby for 5 hours without any updates on my vehicle, one of the employees from the Sales department sent a customer, older gentleman who was having issues with his Chevrolet Impala, to the Service section. About 20 minutes or so later, a man from the Service department stormed into the showroom speaking loudly "Who sent me the guy with the Impala?". Nobody answered so the Service employee went on to shout "I don't help customers who don't buy cars from our dealership!!". I personally found this very intriguing as I had not purchased my vehicle from Disbrowe and my vehicle was in for service. Eventually, I spoke again with the Service advisor who then informed me that my vehicle would not be completed the same day. I insisted to speak with the Service Manager, who finally found the time to deal with my issue. After having to demand to be accommodated, finally I was provided with a rental vehicle, to return home. Then, my vehicle was driven, the next day, 1.5 hours from the dealership to my home by an employee and the rental car taken. My fuel tank was left on empty. Upon inspection of the completed work afterwards, all parts on the car were Napa aftermarket brand parts, which I was under the impression I was getting OEM parts. The wrong coolant was used. I was not given a complimentary oil change like I was told the day before. The price was adjusted slightly to accommodate my terrible experience and inconvenience, but all in all I would have ended up with much better service and pricing, had I went to a dealership in my own town. If you're wondering why I even went there in the first place, I purchased the vehicle off of an employee who worked there, the car sold with a valid "safety". The work that was certified by the Assistant shop manager & the Licensed Mechanic was not up to MTO standards. So, I brought the vehicle back. Generally, I do not post reviews. But this was such a terrible experience I want to warn anybody & everybody to stay as far away from this dealership as they possibly can. I didn't think it was possible to receive such terrible workmanship, service and value from a reputable GM dealership, but Disbrowe certainly proved me wrong.

This place is such a disappointment. I call to make an appointment for an oil change and they say "oh you don't need one, we have express service" I tried twice now to get express service and they say..."Oh it will be an hour and half before you get in". Like I have that kind of time waist. Because of how I've been treated at this place I will never buy a vehicle from them again. I have been dealing with their nasty service for too long. Getting an oil change should NEVER be this difficult. We are in the process of buying our son a car, not sure where to go but I definitely know where NOT to go! Even one star is to much don’t bring your car hear the extra 30min drive to London is worth it even driving 3 hrs away would be worth it I went in for a recall that is suppose to be free only thing that need to be paid for is the alignment but then they say these things have to be fixed before they do it so I go out and do it my self bring it back the next day they say ok they will fix it I sat in the waiting room for 5hrs and my car never got touched and this free recall was a 500$ they wanted a extra 100$ because a bolt was rusty a rusty bolt that took me 10min to get off so something that was suppose to be a free recall they wanted 400+$ and I bought the parts and got fixed for under 200 do yourself a favour and go to McMasters in London they will fix you up
