I purchased a car 05 Subaru impreza from here in the beginning of April. Due to the COVID pandemic this was a very difficult transaction. (Understandable to an extent) DO NOT BUY!!! until everything open again, 1. I picked up my vehicle more than a week past when I was told it would be ready and it was on the empty. (So happy the gas station wasn't far.) 2. With the stay at home orders I wasn't able to drive the vehicle very much and did not realize all of the problems with it, now owning this vehicle for just 2 months, I have already put over $1000 into the vehicle. And I havent drove it 1000km. For things that should have been diagnosed in the safety. If you buy get the warranty!!!!! Because my cars sale I did not and now I'm paying for it!!! Do not trust where they safety the vehicle!!!!!! Update: As I was told by Nick that I had to agree to change my review to be able to have my vehicle fixed, here is my changed review. Both of my front axels needed to be replaced. I replaced one at a wonderful mechanic in London (Bugstop Automotive) . The other was replaced by the safeting dealership but I had to pay for the labour which if it was properly done to begin with I would still have $475.00 in my pocket. Also I found Nick to be very argumentative, when it came to me explaining what was wrong and I was told I was rushing them to complete it prior to the sale. Also that he would not give me any money for the distributor cap plugs and wires that all went under 400km of me buying the vehicle. Also do never deal with the sales rep's as they will state you have not been in contact with thier company even though I have telephone records to prove I did try and contact them. I think if you have a problem make sure you have the vehicle towed to their dealership immediately as they will try and get out of fixing the issues. I do believe the only reason I was partial successful in getting my vehicle fixed was this review. This is my update. Thank you.

They tried to give me $500 less for my trade-in than they originally offered. I said no deal so we agreed on the original offer. Then they tried to sneak the extra $500 back onto the bill of sale(when it was initially made up) and then again when I came back to pick up and pay for the car. I liked the car and it was a good price so I still went through with it, but I’m not at all happy with how they tried to swindle me. If I could give zero stars, I would. P.S. the check engine light came on the second day I had it

He responded quickly to his email with any questions I had. He has a really cool office space that my kids just loved with old jail cells in it. They played while we did the paperwork with Nick. From the initial post I saw scrolling through Facebook I was nervous as i didn’t believe I could get approval for a new vehicle. I clicked that button and the next morning I received a call! Matt from Auto Haven called to ask a few simple and quick questions before finding me the best financier to get me rolling in my new 2017 GMC Sierra! Matt was the friendliest and very informative. Never once pushed or made me feel obligated to any decision. Once we signed and sealed the deal. Matt got everything in order from plates and stickers to working with my insurance broker to get everything switched quickly. Of course I did all of this just before the long weekend! Tuesday morning after the long weekend Matt called to say my truck was all ready for me to enjoy! Had set up for me to pick it up and drop off my trade in 2008 Ford Escape! When I arrived I met Tyler another amazing part of the Auto Haven team who had my truck and keys waiting here quickly helped move my things into the truck. Removed my old plates and kindly asked if we could snap a few photos of me and my new truck! Can’t forget either the awesome google chromebook I received with the approval of my GMC Sierra!! If you ask me this wonderful team at Auto Haven are the go to when looking to get into some new wheels! I promise you won’t be disappointed! I definitely wasn’t!

Terrible terrible place they told me they would get me a truck I wanted took forver when I showed them many trucks I wanted in the price range they gave me that I was approved for they didn't like that Then they find this truck bassiclly force me to sign papers with out seeing the truck and would not tell me where it is coming from so I could see it before signing papers Then when the deal was done it took weeks after they said I would have the vechile very disappointed with them NICK was one of the guys I dealed with never again Truck has had problems from the day they dropped it off to me and I'm stuck with this p.o.s due to there scamming and basically forcing me to get this truck

Bought a truck from them they agreed to repair some rust not all when they done safety when it came back from safety rust not fixed.I called Kyle after I got home told him about it he said he would talk to Nick and get back to me. Eight days later I sent them a email he said sorry for not getting back to you.Well after that they wanted me to leave it for the weekend I asked if I could get a loaner we don't give loaners even if it is our fault. I believe they sold me a veh.with a bad rearend.The spare tire flat would not accept air had to pay some one to repair trailer hitch rusted in had to pay wires going to power lock on tailgate they were in plain sight to see right had to pay somebody to fix.This was all brought up to them before or after I had them fixed according to Nick not a safety problem .Tire monitor light came on two day after I bought it the check engine light on now my opinion they erase them long enough to sell veh.and then beware a lot more to this story but I wont bore you to death. Well you can see Nick Chesterfield left me a response I beg to differ with him he said he did his best to address any concern I had he never addressed anything.I met with Nick on feb.25 he agreed to go with me for a ride to check out rearend.We got back to the dealership he got a little huffy I left half way home he called said he was sorry and if I could take truck to his shop and have oil changed in rearend.I told him I don't think it would do any good but I thought if I refuse he would say he tried and I would not go along with it.The guy at the shop agreed with me.After it was done no change the same old howl At the shop I was given a estimate to rebuild rearend I emailed this and another option to Nick never heard back until I wrote this review.My opinion I can see why he called me up on the way home that day so he would have a way out saying I did everything I could for him good move Nick

I purchased a car from Nick Chesterfield. The car was an old classic and I expected to have to have some work to do on the car to get it where I wanted it to be. I paid a lot of money for the car as I was willing to pay more for a car that had already been professionally restored. I was promised it had been restored from the frame up and only had minor issues easy to address. I looked the car over there was no evident issues: I accept responsibility for trusting Nick and kick myself everyday for that, but, while getting some minor work completed at the transmission specialist I was informed of a multitude of serious ,costly and unsafe issues with the car. Nick would have either known about and covered up these issues OR giving the benefit of the doubt he was unaware. According to the ownership he had the car for a number of years so I really doubt that. I informed Nick of the issues and gave him an opportunity to discuss the problems with the car and come to a solution fair to both of us. Nick chose not to respond and ignore my emails proving he knew about the issues all along. A professional in the business would have responded and at least discussed a resolution. Nick proved himself to be dishonest and not at all professional. There are plenty of good, honest people in the car business - Nick Chesterfield just isn't one of them.

Not such a great place to deal with. Inquired regarding one vehicle. Spoke with Joshua (via email) asked some questions but no answers. Promised a reply within 24hrs and that was a weeks ago. I'll deal with someone else. After reconsideration I have upgraded to a 4 star.
