I wanted the exhaust system of my car verified. I had it replaced by MIDAS three years ago with a lifetime guarantee while I own the car. Now there is a smell of sulphur coming into my car. The Customer Service Representative arranged an appointment for the verification. The problem was solved (remove torn insulation around catalytic converter) and I am happy with the outcome. The CSR is to be commended for making a relatively anxious customer a happy one. I will recommend this MIDAS outlet to my friends. .

I start with positives, Staff are friendly and nice, they are fairly informative as well; as for the repairing they are fast paced. Which is always appreciated. I brought my car back in summer to check the engine code of P0011, the code indicated a problem with camshaft position sensor, so I bought the device myself but, the staff here told me that it is a problem of oil and the old (just recently added) oil should be removed and replaced by their oil. (Which didn’t make sense taking that the oil was new) so I paid $210 for that service. After a while and after the same code kept appearing and disappearing I took the car back to Midas, this time they told me they will replace the camshaft sensor which they didn’t do in first place, what disappointed me is that they didn’t accept the sensor I bought saying that it wasn’t the right one and they place their own and charged me $180 again this time. This was once my favourite mechanic but not anymore.

Quand je leur ai mentionné que mes freins était neuf ils m'ont dis que le problème était derrière le volant et qui si je savais pas conduire c'était pas leur problème. Je suis retourner voir mon ancien mécanicien qui avait changer mes freins avant et il m'a montré qu'ils avaient trop serré mes freins arrière ce qui a fait surchauffer mes freins avant. Quand je suis retourné chez Midas pour leur expliquer ce que le mécanicien m'avait dit, ils ont commencé a crier en disant que j'avais dis qu'ils ne savait pas faire leur travail et qu'ils étaient des menteurs ce que je n'ai jamais dis. Quand j'ai demandé de descendre ma voiture pour que je puisse m'en aller ils ont dit a leur mécanicien : Met les roues là dessus et sort ca au plus criss. Et je cite! Pire expérience de ma vie! Pour le prix qu'il charge il pourrait au moins offrir un bon service! P.s Bruno va suivre un cours de savoir vivre!

Take it from your local guide, I wouldn't go anywhere else for my car. Some of the negative reviews I've read below, just don't make sense! Never have I ever experienced a bad service there. And all I've seen while waiting for my car, are happy customers! I've never had an issue with making appointments by phone or from their website. I trust them more than my own Toyota dealer for any repairs or scheduled maintenance. They are honest people, they don't change anything that doesn't need to be changed. If something needs work, they'll let you know if its urgent or not. Ask them, they'll even show you where the problem is. I've referred my mother there too and she's just as happy with the service as I am!

About a month ago i got my winter tires swapped out for summer tires here. i don't really drive my car much. last week i started to hear a grinding noise coming from the tires. today i took my car to my deal to get a warranty check up and they told me Midas made a big mistake on all 4 tires witch could have gotten me killed. honestly if its just me in the car, fine whatever But sometimes i take my son out and this is the part that i'm pisses me off. ( I don't care about the $35 i spent with them. ) So in a public post they asked me to contact them. I still haven't Heared back from them.

I don't know where to begin. I'm quite speechless right now. I called them to install brake pads and an oil change. A very busy man claiming to be "Francis" told me that they wouldn't do it because they sold me neither the pads nor the oil. Mr. Francis actually seemed puzzled and bothered by my call, if not insulted. I felt that I was disturbing a high level executive right in the middle of an annual shareholder meeting. But I was calling the customer service desk of a Midas outlet. Midas should really make some undercover control on this location. Moral of the story: Since they don't need your business, God only knows what will happen if you entrust them with your vehicle. I paid mine 50k$ and I don’t want to know.

I've always been told Midas is the place for tires and breaks, and to go elsewhere for other work. Today I went in to have a diagnostic done for a check engine light. They found the issue quickly and unlike other garages I went to, asked if I had a warranty still. They helped me look up my warranty info and told me where to call. Very rare to have any garage recommend getting the work done elsewhere! I truly value the integrity of the team here. Francis Mathieu in particular was awesome. He took the time to show me the evaporation system and explain a complex issue in a simple way. He always takes the time (when it's not crazy busy!) To make sure I understand what needs to be done and he is also very polite. I don't have a go to garage yet for this car and area as I have only had it for 2 years, but I will definitely be coming here as my regular shop.

Terrible! Since November when I had my tires changed to winter tires I have had to come back countless times, no problems before the tire change. I come back they spray some sealant and send me on my way. No more than a few days later I have another deflated tire again, usually a different one! meanwhile my tires keep getting damaged by inadvertently running the car on then for short distances while I realize what's happening. No resolution at all, they screwed something up when installing them in November and now guess who will have to likely buy new winter tires after only 3 years! A family member had a similar experience with a winter tire deflating after going to midas. Not to mention when they lied to me last year and went ahead and did a break maintenance without getting my ok. they called to ask me after it was done while I was right outside the garage waiting and saw my car never move to go in. Horrible!
