Just bought a 2016 Honda Civic from this first class dealership. I’m so impressed with the level of detail they give to their Certified vehicles. Mine came with new brakes, Rotors and Pads because they were below 60%. New wiper blades and cabin filter. What dealer does that for their customers? Their prices are the best around. Ils vous vendent une garantis prolongée de 1200 $ et si à la fin de votre location vous ne l'avez pas utilisée ils vous disent qu'ils vont vous la rembourser. À CONDITION que tu t'en rappelles.. si tu ne le dis pas à la fin ils gardent l'argent !!! Aussi la condition c'est que tu fasses tous tes entretiens chez eux.. Même malgré le COVID quand tu sors pas (osti) j'ai pas eu de changement d'huile parce que je ne roules pas et ils trouvent cela louche et ils utilisent cet argument contre toi. aussi ils disent qu'ils vont de la rembourser.. mais pas en argent.. EN CRÉDIT HONDA... donc après tu dois quand même utiliser le 1200 en produit HONDA. Soyez avisé et lisez bien les contrats.

Purchased a used motorcycle here. My initial experience was good, sales staff were very helpful and everything seemed to go well. Until I later noticed the plastic Hamel Honda decals that had been stuck on both side panels of the bike. Right on the matte paint. Who does that to a motorcycle? I had the local dealer (who was also in disbelief) remove them but as anyone with matte paint knows, the paint underneath no longer looks like the paint on the rest of the bike and that is permanent. I sent an e-mail to the salesman and never received any response. It was very foolish on their part. I would have been happy to promote them myself had they not tried to make my bike into a moving billboard. If you deal with them, make sure in advance they do not do this.

If there was a rating below one star i would have gave it to this dealership because this was the worst client experience i ever had So i needed to buy a used car since i lost my old one in an accident the sales representative Aline was very welcoming at the begining and convinced me to not go to another dealer since they will give me a good offer there so i chose the car we discussed the price and everything was ok for a honda crv 2016 they gave me an appointment next week to come pick it up and because by then i will be in my home in another city that is 2hours half away by bus i had to be absent from my work for the whole day to make it happen I had to take 1 bus then 2 diffrent subway lines then another bus them i met my spouse who had to leave early from work also to take me to this appointment Once there they make me sign the contract right away once finished the surprise is they tell me they didn't find the second key for the car. And that they will only give me one key i was in choc because this is not what they told me since the begining So i asked why they didnt inform me about this? I got no answer Asked them to make the second key for me ? The sales rep had to escalate to her manager Who came back to me after almost an hour of wait and in the waiting place in front of everyone he snapped at me and my spouse when i told him that they were not honest with us when the sales rep told me at the begining that they have both keys and today they're telling me they only have one the manager cut me and became very aggressive and was like if you want to pay the key price is $260plus taxe i have reduced it for you or i will cancel your transaction I told him im not gonna pay for a key that you guys dont have So he left ruduly saying to the rep ok cancel cancel I never imagined that a manager can act like this with his client This is shameful Zero professionalism No honesty What a waste of time money and energy I will not recommand this place to anyone And i will escalate this complaint further I don't appreciate the way you treated me and my spouse I dont appreciate the fact you were not honest about the key and the manager who didnt even try to fix this problem and doesnt even know how to talk to his clients .

Being served in sales by Mr. André Parizeau, I asked him to give me a price for a 2020 Civic by including the same warranty that I had with my 2018 Civic (question of having comparable coupons). He answered me without problem. Having written it down in his notes that I could see, I took it for granted that he had added the costs of this guarantee. After nearly 2 hours of negotiation, with director Alexandre Landry in particular, we reached an agreement that suited me very well. It is then that the contract and pen in hand (ready to sign), I ask André again if he had included in the price the guarantee in question. He replied no because it is the finance department that takes care of his guarantee products. So I have to add about $ 10 to my bi-monthly payment. So $ 1300 in total in my payment. What I find distressing in this story is that he had indeed told me at the beginning of the meeting that he was going to include the guaranteed product at the final price, which ultimately was not the case. Is it an unintentional oversight or an unhealthy and immoral tactic towards their customers? I seriously ask myself the question. I told myself that there was surely a way to find common ground with the financing or the sales management to conclude this transaction. No, I was told good end of the day in a dry tone, nothing more. An experience which unfortunately leaves me with a bitter taste and which does not make me want to trust them again. I nevertheless appreciate Mr. Landry's courteous service throughout the process. (Original) Étant un client de Hamel depuis plusieurs années, je ne m'attendais pas à vivre une expérience très désolante lors de leur vente VIP. Étant servi aux ventes par Monsieur André Parizeau, je lui avait demandé de me faire un prix pour une Civic 2020 en y incluant la même garantie que je possédais avec ma Civic 2018 (question d'avoir des bons comparables). Il m'a répondu sans problème. L'ayant inscrit dans ses notes que je pouvais voir, j'ai pris pour acquis qu'il avait ajouté les frais de cette garantie. Après près de 2h de négociation, avec notamment le directeur Alexandre Landry, nous sommes arrivés à une entente qui me convenait très bien. C'est alors que le contrat et stylo sous la main (prêt à signer), je demande à nouveau à André s'il avait inclut dans le prix la garanti en question. Il me répond que non car c'est le département du financement qui s'occupe de ses produits de garanti. Je dois donc ajouter environ 10$ à ma bi-mensualité. Donc, 1300$ au total dans mon paiement. Ce que je trouve désolant dans cette histoire, c'est qu'il m'avait bel et bien indiqué en début de rencontre qu'il allait inclure le produit de garanti au prix final, ce qui ultimement n'a pas été le cas. Est-ce un oubli involontaire ou une tactique malsaine et immorale envers leur clientèle? Je me pose sérieusement la question. Je me dis qu'il y avait sûrement un moyen de trouver un terrain d'entente avec le financement ou la direction des ventes pour conclure cette transaction. Non, on m'a dit bonne fin de journée d'un ton sec, sans plus. Une expérience qui malheureusement me laisse un goût amer et qui ne me donne pas envie de leur faire confiance à nouveau. J'apprécie néanmoins le service courtois de Monsieur Landry tout au long du processus.

However, the 5 star could easily have turned into a 3-4 star because of the terrible experience we had with Anny in financing and selling extended warranty. When the vehicle is delivered, our saleswoman makes us sign the papers and presents us with one that says we waive the extended warranty. We say, no we haven't given up, because Anny still hasn't called us back (even though we requested the callback twice during the week). We had already negotiated with Anny about 10 days ago before entering her office. We summarized the negotiation for him by saying that at the beginning we were talking about 7 years 100k km with mechanical maintenance. She had told us that the 130k was about the same price, that she had more games, that the price could be worked out well and that she would get back to us by phone. No phone return and we had to negotiate on the day of delivery. The experience quickly turns out badly with Anny, she makes us feel really bad by telling us falsehoods and that we hadn't talked about the 130k guarantee. Désolé on s’en rappelle très bien nous et nous avions pris même des notes sur la brochures que nous lui avons montré. Elle nous dit qu’en dessous de ce prix là qu’elle mettait son pain et son lait sur la table. Comme si j’allais empêcher son fils de boire du lait ce soir... Elle nous demande comment qu’on va y arriver dans le budget avec un bébé si on doit payer des réparations et si la voiture ne démarre plus à cause de quelques choses de pas garantie. Elle nous disait qu’elle avait des enfants et qu’on ne serait pas capable de payer un 3-4K de réparations avec un enfant, que certains clients tentaient de ramener les véhicules chez Hamel Honda pour l’échanger car les réparations coûtaient trop chers. Un moment donné... on se demandait vraiment pourquoi nous avions acheté une Honda! La goutte qui a fait débordé le vase fût quand je lui ai dit qu’on voulait négocier, mais que l’expérience était vraiment désagréable et qu’on voulait continuer d’avoir une belle journée avec notre voiture et notre vendeuse Laurie. Qu’on passait d’un avis Google de 5 étoiles à 4 étoiles. Et sa réponse fut, bon donc tu n’es pas content parce que tu n’as pas ton prix. Tu mets un avis plus bas juste à cause que vous n’avez pas eu votre prix. Comme si j’étais un vrai bébé. Je lui ai dit que c’est normal de négocier et on a pas toujours son prix, même si j’avais voulu un meilleur prix avec Laurie son service reste 5 étoiles. On voulait tellement pas faire affaire avec elle à cause des attaques sur notre bébé et notre budget que nous sommes parties amer et inquiet de ne pas avoir la garantie. En regardant les avis Google, beaucoup d’avis parlent du service terrible des finances. Il laisse souvent leur 4-5 étoiles juste pour le vendeur ou la vendeuse. Ça aucun sens de laisser aller un service comme ça. This is for "Carrxpert Carrosserie Hamel....Bad workmanship...No attention to detail...Had a hatch done (rust) under warranty, they misplaced a WHITE gasket on a BLACK panel..NO ONE NOTICED it sticking out. Had to return it to be repaired properly. Then ONE YEAR LATER the same panel rusted again. They re did the job and put a clear plastic between parts saying they could not guarantee the job with out it. If the manufacturer did not see a need for it, then I would guess they did not do a proper job or did something wrong when reinstalling the parts. It was placed, sticking out about 1/4 all around and looked like it was cut by a 5 year old. Along with that, the paint this time around has defects. Also, the "lettering" and badge were placed wrong. ONCE AGAIN, had to send it back along WITH PICTURES of where the lettering should be with measurements. They returned the truck and it shows the plastic was cut with a knife (hopefully not into the paint...can't tell) but they STILL managed to screw up the lettering, even with the measurements and pic. VERY INCOMPETENT. Would not surprise me that to make the fast $$$ they put apprentices on what they deem "takes too much time".

Horrible. The sales person Serge that sold me the car was such a slime ball. Then two years into my lease I get into a horrible accident that totals the car. I had to call ten different people before actually getting some help with what to do next. They continued to charge my account 3 times after Honda considered my car to be a total loss. After 4 months I still have yet to get my refund. I did all my communicating with Hamel and then finally called Honda Canada to see what was up. They said that the dealership made no communication with the head office and that Honda Canada had no idea that the car they we’re charging me for didn’t even exist anymore. This was a month after the accident! Still have yet to receive refunds of the payments or my Honda Plus refund. Then out of nowhere 4 months after the accident the service department calls to tell me I should be due for my oil change and asked why I hadn’t made an appointment yet -.- I mean come on! He sat me down and explained the options I had. i was told to take my time, they would cover the charges for a car until i decide what i would do.a very nice person. back that nite to Hamel Honda meet Alexandre Savard ( used car Sales) tested drove a 2011 CRV and i was sold. Finally, I never called or followed up since then. In the summer my handle is working fine but it has started to get cold again so the problem is back. I call Hamel and tell me yes he has plenty of handles in stock. Never had a recall from Honda. I made an appointment and when I got there, they started telling me that I am no longer under warranty (luckily I had 1 proof that I had come to 52k). I have to negotiate so that he does it under guarantee which accepts but explains to me that it will not solve the problem because it is normal that the driver handle is not functional. My passenger handle, on the other hand, works at all times so I ask him who explains exactly and technically the difference between the 2 and he answers: Ben will see on the forums it is always the driver handles that do not work well! !! Je doit négocier pour qu’il le fasse sous garanti se qui accepte mais m’explique que sa ne reglera pas le problème car c’est normal que la poignée conducteur soit non fonctionnel. Ma poignée passager elle par contre fonctionne en tout temps alors je lui demande qui m’explique exactement et de manière technique la différence entre les 2 et il me répond : Ben va voir sur des forums c’est toujours les poignées conducteur qui fonctionne mal !!! J’ai plusieurs amis avec des CRV et personne n’a jamais eu le meme problème que moi. Le RDV sheduler à 13h15 et à 14h40 j’ai toujours pas eu de nouvelle. Je vais au comptoir et il me dit finalement on a pas la pièce on la commande et on te rappelle!!! J’ai perdu 1h45 de temps plus mon déplacement pour absolument RIEN !! Et il ma jamais appelé pour me dire que je pouvais partir c’est moi qui a du aller à son bureau !! Service inacceptable et j’espère que mon commentaire va faire sauver des gens de ses voleurs.

I was dealing with Clarissa Javia for 7 - 10 days or so. I was enquiring about a 2015 Golf TDI with the rare manual transmission. There was only 1 generic picture posted on-line. I asked to see other pictures of the car. E-mail responses were slow but eventually the associate responds with you can schedule an appointment to view the vehicle. With other vehicle purchases in the past the sales associate has offered and taken pictures of the vehicle for me to see before I journey to see it in person. I respond that I am out of town in Ottawa and would not be willing to travel 2 hours each way to see this vehicle. Show me pictures and I will decide if I wish to see it in person. In a way to motivate the associate I told her I would forget about this one and look for another whereby she responds with; OK and have a good day. There is zero interest in helping me out and trying to make a sale. These manual TDIs are rare and I would travel to Montreal to see it, of course. The total lack of customer care is evident and I will not deal with Hamel Honda and their non caring sales associates who DO NOT wish to make a sale.

Heureusement en appelant chez vous sans même avoir vu le véhicule votre directeur de service nous a immédiatement pris en charge, nous a réservé un véhicule, a fait la demande d'aide avec nous et a pu faire la réparation de façon rapide et pro active! Un énorme merci, merci d'avoir fait la différence pour le véhicule de mon grand-père de 81 ans, fidèle client chez vous depuis longtemps, merci d'entretenir vos clients, le bon service ce fait rare maintenant!
