(Translated) Cité Caravane sells new Pleasure Way RVs which are an excellent Canadian product with a good reputation. So much for the flowers. Now the pot. This dealer also sells Thor and Forest River products which are poor quality American products with many major flaws. Please, before purchasing any of these products, go to both Canadian and American discussion forums and you will have a good idea of these 2 companies and their divisions. Also note that Four Winds, Damon, Jayco, Entegra Coach and Hymer Group are divisions of Thor Industries and Sun Seeker, Coachmen, Dynamax, are products and divisions of Forest River. Most will give you multiple problems. I speak knowingly because my partner and I have ordered in the past a Forest River RV from Cité Caravanne which was supposedly new but with a lot of apparent flaws. Cité Caravanne did not want to cancel the contract, so we opted for a Thor Compass with Ford Transit diesel chassis. Misery and misfortune, nothing but problems. Nothing to say about the Ford chassis but everything that was designed by Thor gave us some trouble. Luckily, we are quite manual. Sure, Cité Caravane will tell you that the product is guaranteed, but it's only one year and it's a lot of trouble to always bring it back to the dealership for repairs. I am very disappointed with Cité Caravane to sell Thor and Forest River products which do not seem to want to improve their RVs. Cité Caravane knows that these are poor quality products and continues to sell them. People pay these RVs over $ 125,000 and get screwed. After having made their purchases and having experienced multiple problems, they resell them quite quickly, hoping to catch an unfamiliar fish. So for all future RV buyers, the top rated products in the 20-25ft are Pleasure Way, Leisure Travel and Roadtrek which are Canadian products. IF you go for an American product in the 25ft, only Winnebago has the passing grade. I wrote this to help those new to the RV world and to keep them from getting ripped off. I speak knowingly because we had four 25ft RVs and we now drive a Leisure Travel Unity. La plupart vous occasionneront de multiples problèmes. Je parle en connaissance de cause car mon conjoint et moi avons commandé dans le passé un VR Forest River de Cité Caravanne qui était supposément neuf mais avec pleins de défauts apparents. Cité Caravanne ne voulait pas annuler le contrat, alors nous avons opté pour un Thor Compass avec châssis Ford Transit diésel. Misère et malheur, que des problèmes. Rien à dire sur le châssis Ford mais tout ce qui était conçu par Thor nous ont donné du trouble. Par chance, nous sommes assez manuels. Certes, Cité Caravane vont vous dire que le produit est garantie, mais c’est un an seulement et c’est un paquet de trouble de toujours le ramener chez le concessionnaire pour des réparations. Je suis très déçu de Cité Caravane de vendre les produits Thor et Forest River qui ne semblent pas vouloir améliorer leurs VR. Cité Caravane le sait que ce sont des produits de piètre qualité et continue d’en vendre. Les gens paient ces VR au dessus de 125,000$ et se font carrément avoir. Après avoir fait leurs achats et connu de multiples problèmes, ils les revendent assez rapidement en espérant attraper un poisson non connaissant. Alors pour tous les futurs acheteurs de VR, les produits les mieux cotés dans le 20-25 pi sont Pleasure Way, Leisure Travel et Roadtrek qui sont des produits canadiens. SI vous optez pour un produit américain dans le 25 pi , seul Winnebago à la note de passage. J’ai écrit ceci pour aider les néophytes dans le domaine des VR et pour éviter qu’ils se fassent avoir. Je parle en connaissance de cause car nous avons eu quatre VR de 25 pi et nous conduisons maintenant un Leisure Travel Unity.

Just bought a myself a newer used RV. Price was so low already I forgot to negotiate to get a better deal. But used or new from searching around various RV dealerships around the entire island of Montreal, North Shore, South shore, East or West, they look like they have the best (and reasonable) prices, for new and used RVs. They have a huge selection. And their staff from the showroom to the financing office to the techs and parts people are second to none. They answered honestly even if it was to their detriment - never visited a dealership as honest as this one, and all with smiles wanting to help you the best they can. They really do feel like a family owned and run RV dealership. When I shop for my next RV in a few years I'll be coming back to this place for sure. Plus for now, they did not mind holding it 2 months till he end of spring almost, for free, not to mention holding any payments till I pickup the vehicle in May, get 2 hour introduction to the vehicle by a tech, allow me to check it all works as it is supposed to be (promising to fix anything on the spot if not satisfactory before I sign that I accept the vehicle!), have the vehicle newly washed and cleaned ready for my pick up time, have 3 specific changes installed onto the RV for quite a reasonable price, plus saved me from paying for another 2 options I didn't really need, they provide a welcome to RVing packet of basic RV equipment, they organized a payment schedule that is best for me at the monthly amount I want to pay + allowing me to pay extra payments, with no penalty of whatever amount, when I want to shorten the time it takes me to pay off the loan, I can even pay it all off in one shot with no penalty (unlike other dealers which price the vehicle depending on whether the buyer takes out a loan or no, and the amount, as they get a kickback, but not this dealership, at this dealership the price is the price however you decide to pay), and they apply for the loan for you making it that much easier.. . . . All I can honestly say is this RV dealership is the best dealership I have ever been to, and I've already recommended this place to all my family and friends interested in getting an RV now or in the future. And, I also recommend this place to all of you! They give incredibly excellent service here!! Thank you all at CITÉ Caravane for making my experience buying an RV an absolute joy! I'll be back!! P.S. The parts and service area guys are so helpful and informative, I look forward to having to deal with them. They explain everything thoroughly and if they are not sure they refer you to the experts for any questions I have. They absolutely want me to have the best service experience I can, while shopping for the RV and forever after once I leave with my vehicle, or if I ever need help fixing anything on the vehicle. And, even though I was not getting anything that day with them, the service manager and the RV tech at the desk took 20 minutes explaining me something I wanted information on and welcoming me Ba k anytime I need anything or have a question on anything. They cannot be trusted. Go to Canadream - they are waaaay better. We rented a trailer for 6 people. It came a little dirt and with some smell on the upper bads. When we returned the vehicle 12 days latter, they signed us off and said everything was OK, but several days latter they send an email saying that they needed to charge an extra 110 dollars for cleaning, just because now there's nothing we can do about it.

Worst customer service you can have - once they got you and sold their big RV, forget about good customer service - they can't even answer their phone.... They are not nice and they can't help you with anything that falls on your extended warranty - in other words, once it's sold, they don't care about you.... Keep that in mind when you're buying. Bad experience right from the very beginning. Hindsight being 20/20 I'd never rent from this place again. I called regarding issues with a rental. It took a full 24 hours for someone to call me back. Lots of additional hidden charges. Poor customer service. Pathetic all the way around. If you're looking to rent a RV go somewhere else.

When taking possession of the motorhome ... originally we had a Sunseeker 25 'with plenty of storage, I even went to visit it with the representative of Cité Caravane de St-Eustache (photos, measurements, etc.) even checked a week before taking possession for the availability of this Sunseeker! Everything was Ok !!!! I knew everything was going to be in its place to make our stay wonderful! Error ... this is not a Sunseeker as promised but a Conquest ... apart from the C class and the length of the motorhome ... there was nothing comparable especially in terms of interior exterior storage ... it was ridiculous !! At least we would have liked to be warned a few days in advance (basic customer service) Since COVID this company has no consideration for its customers ... they wanted to give us a $ 200 discount on a $ 4000 rental, we really felt like we were being laughed in the face !!! After 3 hours of wasted time and inadequate alternative suggestions for our needs… we canceled the contract. The only power we have left is to share this mishap. Lors de la prise de possession du motorisé … à l’origine nous avions un Sunseeker 25’ avec tout plein de rangement, je suis même allée le visiter avec la représentante de Cité Caravane de St-Eustache ( photos , mesures etc ) J’ai même vérifié une semaine avant la prise de possession pour la disponibilité de ce Sunseeker ! Tout était Ok !!!! Je savais que tout allait aller être à sa place pour que notre séjour soit merveilleux ! Erreur … ce n’est pas un Sunseeker tel que promis mais un Conquest … mis à part la classe C et la longueur du motorisé… il n’y avait aucun comparable surtout point de vue rangement intérieur extérieur … s’en était ridicule!! Minimum on aurait aimé être averti quelques jours d’avance ( service à la clientèle de base ) Depuis la COVID cette compagnie n’a aucune considération pour ses clients … ils voulaient nous donner un rabais de $200 sur une location de $ 4000 , on a eu vraiment l’impression de se faire rire en plein visage !!! Après 3 heures de perte de temps et de suggestions de rechange inadéquates pour nos besoins … on a annulé le contrat. Le seul pouvoir qu’il nous reste c’est de partager cette mésaventure.

Not a very good experience with them. Bought a Class A and they said they went over it and everything worked. That was not the case. Tires were under inflated by 30% should have been 100 to 110 they were 65 to 70 the mechanic who did the safety in Ontario was very mad. We drove it to Florida and the first thing was the lights on the inside driver side did not work. The heating did not work still trying to sort that out. Toilet leaks and the medicine cabinet door fell off the cabinet. Not a happy camper! They had no one to explain to us how everything worked in english!

Worst experience ever. They actually do not provide full insurance. Unfortunately we had a weird accident and had to pay 3700 dollars on top of our 6000 dollars RV rental. I regret I chose them for our family vacation.

A-t-il été livré à quelqu’un d’autre ??? Au milieu du mois de juillet 2021, on est plus capable de me dire quand je recevrai ce motorisé. Alors j’ai annulé mon achat, je vais aller ailleurs.

Wouldn’t recommend this dealer to my worst enemies. I bought an RV from them and took the extended warranty, I already went in twice for the same issue... they claimed that it was fixed and it wasn’t so I took it to another dealer and the issue was resolved. When I contacted their service department, I was told that I shouldn’t bother them anymore and that they have enough business. Stay away, there are many other dealers in Montreal that would love your business.
