Waited over 2.5 hours for an oil change that had been booked in advance. When I got here there was only 1 other person in the waiting room. Found out he was also waiting for an oil change. He was here 3 hours before it was finally done. Should have gone to a quick lube place for faster service.
I had a very amazing car buying experience when I inquired online here. Tarun called me not even 3 minutes after I inquired on a used truck, with all of the information that I requested (if it was in an accident and how many owners). He offered a test drive that day, after sending me a full video of the vehicle. Overall amazing service, did not end up buying that specific truck but another he had found for me based off what I needed. He did say right a lot though.
I bought a 2021 Kia Soul. Everyone there, and especially David (the salesman who helped me), was fantastic through the whole process. He answered all of my questions and gave me a very reasonable price. He even gave me a loaner vehicle to use until I was able to finish all the paperwork on my own car and take it home. He listened to what I said I wanted (in terms of features, type of vehicle, etc.) and helped me get exactly that. I'm very happy with my new car and with my sales experience. I would definitely go back to North Edmonton Kia.
Not good, don't recommend this dealership. The after sales experience was a nightmare. Had a problem with the car that should have been delt with before I bough it. Nurmerous were sent without response. Called a sales manager, Brad. But he shuffled me off to the salesman I bought the car from. He didn't respond after the initial text message, so I called Brad directly. The next conversation involved him being very rude, condescending, and passive-aggressive. He was very eager to talk about anything other than my problem or how to fix it. If I had that conversation with him before I bought the car, I would not have wasted a minute on him or that dealership.

I purchased a car from North Edmonton Kia in 2014. Not long after the sales calls started. I have now lost track of how many times I have spoken to managers to tell them I don't want to be contacted. After posting this review I received an angry phone call from the general sales manager G H who berated me for this review and demanded that I take it down. I am absolutely shocked by this experience. I have had great experiences with the service team at NEK, so I'm sorry that the awful customer service from sales is letting the team down. The service manager is wonderful.
I recently purchased a new vehicle from this dealership and I do love the car however I’m extremely disappointed with the service. When I purchased the vehicle i was promised some perks for example first 3 services free and a few tanks of gas. I have contacted the Dealership multiple times because I wanted to fill up my tank. I have called at least 3 times it has been almost 3 weeks and none has returned my phone calls. It’s not that I can’t afford the gas but when you make a large purchase and are promised things they should follow through. Apparently the service stops after you buy your vehicle at this location after that they could care less. I love my new car but if your in the market for a Kia maybe go to a different Kia Dealership to make your purchases.

My first time to Kia North Edmonton and the service was outstanding! Nancy (Service Concierge) was very thorough in her explanation of the service on my recently purchased 2016 Kia Soul. Her kind demeanour and patient response to my questions gave me a great sense of confidence. I will definitely bring my car back to this dealership for every service when needed. Oh yeah, thanks for the free wash and the loner vehicle!!
Our experience started off well, We were searching for the first car our daughter is buying on her own. They were very good at replying to emails with any questions we had. Then when my husband and daughter went in to look at the car, the only complaint was on their website there was a $1000 discount listed (and it was the the car my daughter was looking at online) but they didn't honor it and were saying it wasn't the same car. They did say though they would give her a remote starter that wasn't in the car at the time of purchase. They said would call her in a couple of days to schedule her to bring it in and get it put in. We still haven't heard from them and my husband had went in last Saturday to ask about it and they said they would call on Tuesday. It is now Friday and I emailed the salesman early this week too, and we still haven't heard from them. It is starting to feel like their customer service declines ones they get your purchase. She is also suppose to be getting Winter Car Mats, but I am starting have my doubts about them following through on that too.
From the moment we entered we were warmly greeted. Our sales associate Thai was amazing!! I cannot say enough about her, she is not your typical car salesperson as she treated us like family from the get go. Thai and Kathy (finance) made buying a car completely painless and enjoyable.

My family wanted to upgrade our 2014 KIA Rhonda to a KIA Sportage EX as I drove this model in a previous car loaner and fell in love while driving it for the day. So, we visited the KIA North on St. Albert Trail and spoke with Eric Rolf-Barker one of the Sales agent at this location. Our experience at this KIA location was FANTASTIC!! I would highly recommend going to this location for the FAMILY service experience. Everyone we spoke with was Fantastic and accommodating! Nathen the sales Manager that helped Eric was personable and witty and brought his experience and knowledge of the business. Nathan went over and above to find us a vehicle that suited our price and checked off everything on our list. Brandi our finance wizard, worked her magic and helped us get the numbers on paper. Aside from working her magic on our paper work Brandi is very good at explaining the process and gave us insight and suggestions for the best outcome. Brandi was charming, friendly and VERY helpful, not only to us but our son who had questions about financing. We were also introduced to the service consultants so that our first oil change we know where to go and who to see. Eric, thank you for taking care of us and your easy-going and quiet demeanor allowed us to take the time to know which vehicle we test drove suited our family without the urgency or pressure to purchase a vehicle. Max Sesay is the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. He is quite friendly and works hard for the customer. He was not pushy like so many car salesman are. We just purchased a 2022 Seltos EX Premium from Max and he made the purchasing experience easy- from allowing my wife and I to test drive without a salesman in the car to remembering and greeting me by name a week later when the Seltos arrived at the dealership. Dave Trong also deserves praise as he worked hard to find us an EX Premium when there was not one at the dealership on the day we were looking. He was able to find one in transit and booked it for us so that no other dealership would receive it. Finally, Chris Phan in Finance made the paperwork aspect of the purchase easy. He thoroughly explained all paperwork and never pushed all of the extras (life insurance, undercoating, etc.) on you like many dealerships do. This is my first time dealing with North Edmonton Kia and I highly recommend Max and the team.
This is the worst buying experience ever!! I came in 10 days ago and traded in my vehicle and purchased a new kia Forte, I was told by Catherine from the dealership to cancel my payment with my finance company for the vehicle I traded in because she will pay them out, and I was supposed to pick up a check for my cashback from the dealership then. They didn't payout my loan for my car that I traded in which caused me to go into collection after never missing a payment with them. And they're giving me the run around with giving me my cashback check, seems for like 10 days I can't speak to anyone, everyone is not available, everyone is never in the ooffice. At this point I am not sure what to do, I honestly don't ever recommend them to anyone at all...they're horrible to do business with.

Went there with the thoughts to buy a new Sorento. We could not get the financing numbers to work with my budget, so my salesperson Kelsey D suggested the 2022 Sportage. Ended up trading my old vehicle in and buying it under what they had originally quoted me which made me happy. Me and my husband had been looking for a new vehicle, to hopefully get a better vehicle than what we had. We had the pleasure in meeting Carlos Mendiola from this dealership and he was probably one of the most friendly, non-pushy salesman i have ever met. Super knowledgeable, and was very honest from the start. We also dealt with Chris and Amanda in Finance, and everything was fantastic. Definitely amazing service, and will 100% buy from them again.
Been a customer since 2016. I'll start with the good. Everyone is friendly. The front half of the dealer when it comes to sales is fantastic. I just had my car in for service, and the salesman that sold me my car about 8 months ago, recognized me by name, and said hi. Now the bad. The service/parts department. While they are still friendly, and apologize when a mistake is made, it still just seems like you're a number, as opposed to a valued customer. It took about four months for them to have a part to fix a recall that could cause fires. I get told multiple different things by different employees, so there's no consistency there. Most recently, I had my A/C stop working. Took it in, and they had to order a part, said it would be in in about 3 to 5 days. 8 business days later, I call since I hadn't heard anything. Turns out, the part was delivered in 3 days, and on one bothered to call me. This also happened for the recall as well; they say they will call you, then never do. To top this all off, when I got my car back after they fixed the A/C, I discovered a nice surprise when I got home. Multiple new scratches all over my car that were not there prior to me taking my car in. For just buying a vehicle, I haven't had an issue. When it comes to servicing, avoid this place as of recently. UPDATE: Got in contact with the dealership, and to their credit, they buffed out the scratches. Although I was told that I was the third person with a vehicle getting scratched.

Brayden and the sales managers there were extremely helpful and let me leave in my brand new carnival that day. They explained everything to me and totally earned my trust. A couple of years ago I bought 2015 Jetta from this dealership. I financed through the dealership. I was talked into getting some different insurance through them. An extended warranty package, lost of employment insurance, injury insurance and replacement insurance. I have they to us the lost of employment insurance in 2020 and I was told I did qualify and they did nothing for me. I again tried to use my extended warranty and I was told that my warranty would cover the repair. . Today I called about the replacement insurance and I was told that I did not have that type of insurance. Why in the world would I pay extra monies for these insurances if they continue to tell you that you don't qualify or you don't have it. I would suggest that everyone stay away from their dealership. Clearly they are crooks.
I received excellent service from the Parts department. I live in BC, my sister lives in Edmonton area and she needed a new taillight. I made one phone call and the Parts department was able to source a new taillight and get it in before the promise date. Thank you for all your help!
Kendal was the first person we spoke to when we drove into the service bay. She welcomed us and explained the process that would take place to diagnose what repair was needed. The technician made a video of our vehicle's needed repair. He explained and showed us exactly what would be fixed. Once the decision was made to have our vehicle repaired Kendal walked us through the estimate. As the part needed to be brought in from Toronto we were given the use of a courtesy car. Our car was repaired in a timely manner. We were very satisfied with the service received from North Edmonton Kia. Another big plus, the final invoice was less than the estimate!
I have been extremely impressed with this dealership and I've had some bad experiences that left with me with horrible vehicles. I had and I wanted a stinger and I talk to my girlfriend and to us getting one. I went to a few dealerships and got no where it was out of my price range. When saw one at Kia North Edmonton and pulled it was blue and there's no way I could afford it but we went in anyways I asked the price to Max I can't remember what he said but all I know is I tried to walk away and he said we can do it at a price that works for you 2 Days Later everyone at the dealership treated my girlfriend with respect and talk to her like she was part of the sale even though in reality she was kind of upset getting rid of our van. Clearly we were purchasing the car in my interest. But we own it now she's actually starting to fall in love with it Too long didn't read the salesman Max Chris and finance and sales manager Adam we're absolutely fantastic I highly recommend them and I've never dealt with the dealership and it said that before

When I went to get my new vehicle on the website they were giving Apple watches or chrome book, when asked i was told “we ran out” I said what about a hat and was given a key chain. I asked why haven’t we put my name on the monthly cash prize and I truly think it was erased when I left. I have own the vehicle for 2 months. Have yet to know if I am able to find a oil filter and if I’m able to get it serviced in my town at a dealership since no kia is near me, I have got multiple answers with it’s fine or it’s voids warranty or the extended warranty is gone or vis versa. Truly unhappy with the after math having to fight for my deposit that I was supposed to have back when I arrived and didn’t receive it for a month after. Asking question am not getting answers and getting lied to.

PLEASE READ ALL. I cant review each experience separately so I have to include each of my terrible experiences in a single post. THIS DEALERSHIP IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. After sales service couldn't possibly be worse, from lies to overbilling to complete incompetence. I Couldn't possibly regret buying a vehicle here more. Had severed all ties with the dealership and now use another unaffiliated kia dealership with dramatically better results. West End Kia is great! First the Car failed within 10,000km. Not only did they misdiagnos the problem them completely ignored trying to get parts. Only, after multiple follow-ups, and 6 months, did they finally realize the parts were in stock at another dealership. During the sales process we were promised some free oil changes. On my first visit they didn't mention it so, after I asked, they literally just changed the invoice from oil change to shop supplies for the exact same price down to the penny. After taking the car in for a number of issues, they did not even complete some work to resolve a known headlight issue. When questioned about it the service department read back a description of the problem from the work order, of which I already had a printed copy, and claimed the description was actual work history proving the work was completed. It was not. Funny thing about headlights, it's very easy to see the problem wasn't fixed. I had to go buy specialty tools to fix the problem that they already billed kia Canada for "fixing" After my third visit for the same suspension problem, they probably found the correct problem, struts failed. They supposedly replaced them, but the problem continued almost immediately. I completely gave up on this dealership. A second dealership diagnosed the problem within 2 minutes of a ride along, actually replaced the struts again that day and completely solved the issued withim 6 hrs. The new dealer seemed completely amazed that 2 new struts could fail again immediately. But it wouldn't be the first time I was mislead and lied to by this dealership. I'll never know if the actually changed anything. Would never allow them to touch my car again, for anything, warranty or not.
I would like to take the time to thank James, Dave and Chris at north Edmonton Kia. They went above and beyond to get myself and husband into two newer vehicles. Both of us have never felt more comfortable purchasing a vehicle before as we did with those guys. Not only did the vehicles meet we’d go above our expectations but the customer service was also fantastic .I highly recommend them for future purchases, there’s lots of car salesmen out to rip you off but definitely not them. Thanks again and we will 100% be going back for our future purchases.
Not impressed with service department. I would NOT recommended. Not only did they treat me like I wasn't important because I didn't buy my Kia there but they told me if I didn't change the 1 star rating I gave them they would be unable to take care of my tires under warranty. Terrible service, treated terribly, threatened refusal of service is why this dealership gets a 1 star. I was shook after blowing a tire on the Henday during extremely bad weather. They cared more about their rating than about my car and my safety. Terrible. Would never recommend.

I visited the North Edmonton Kia location after shopping around for months to buy a new car. I was promptly greeted by the King of Sales Max Sesay, as I strolled across the lot. Max asked my reason for coming in today and I advised them I was interested in discussing the Kia K5. From the moment of introduction Max was a pleasure to interact with and their customer service throughout the entire process has been A1. Max ensured I was taken care of and even had a loaner for the weekend while my deal was being finalized. Max offered a test drive but I already knew the car I wanted so I passed. We discussed numbers and one of Max’s Manager’s Kim was also a pleasure to deal with in negotiating the deal. I then moved on to Finance where I was introduced to Christopher Phan whose customer service was just as A1 as Max. Chris kept me up to date on the entire process and had a willingness to serve and gave me periodic updates along the process. On the day of delivery, Chris and Max were very accommodating of my schedule and ensured I was able to drive my new car off the lot that night. My experience interacting with everyone here has been 10/10 and I walked away a satisfied customer. Max ensured at all times I felt my best interest was placed over making a sale and for that I will forever recommend Max and North Edmonton Kia.

He didn’t play the high pressure games that is common with other salesmen, and it made the process so much less stressful! I would highly recommend Andrew if you are going to purchase a new or used vehicle!

An exceptional experience! My sister went in to purchase her first vehicle and was treated with the upmost professionalism and customer service. Unlike any typical dealership, we gave our first offer on the price of the vehicle (which we thought was fair for both parties) and without any back and forth Dave agreed. An absolutely seamless buying experience! Rome in the finance office offered the best financing options right up front, again with no back and forth, getting my sister a great warranty for more then reasonable cost. Be warey ... i will never bring my vehicle here for service work. I brought my car in as their was a recall on the chip for my Kia Forte. Shortly after bringing it in I was notified that they had performed a curtious inspection and my car needed a new caliper as mine was apparently leaking along with a flush and some other items which totalled 1700.00 dollars. I was surprised to hear this as I had an inspection on my vehicle the week before at my regular mechanics while my tires were changed to my winter set and their were no issues at all. I declined the work and took my car to another mechanic and paid to have my breaks inspected. The mechanic that I brought my car to was one who is on the board that helps mitigate auto shops and dealerships from scamming customers to pay for service that is not needed. After the inspection, I was told that none of the work Kia said I needed was needed. Two mechanics confirmed through inspections that my car did not need this work. Be ware of paying for unneeded service.... I will never bring my vehicle here again if I have a choice.

Booked our 2021 Kia seltos in for a knocking sound coming from interior back passenger side of the cab. And for our paint chips to get repaired because we purchased the protection package with the vehicle. Get a call saying we owe $150 for a inspection and tire wash and that they didn’t find anything wrong with the test drive and inspection. So I left work and drive back to town (we live 45 minutes outside of town) to go for a drive with the mechanic. We were not even out of the parking lot and he already found the knocking (rear seats latch has tons of play and is apparently normal and has no fix with the new Seltos’s) To add salt to the wound of 3 45 minute drives the paint chips didn’t get repaired because apparently the company can decide to just not show up to work any given day. We can get billed for a tire wash we didn’t want or need, and a test drive we were told happened (but on the work order/bill is written that no test drive happened) and the multiple thousand dollar protection package we paid for and booked didn’t get done. I wouldn’t take a vehicle to the service department here, and I wouldn’t purchase the protection package.
Normally I'm not a very trusting person but when it came to brayden helping me he seemed very trustworthy and actually listened to what I had to say. Best part was that the whole experience was painless and I actually enjoyed myself. I have had other car salesman push themselves really hard and it never really seemed like they had my cares in mind but with brayden it was different and it was like he wanted to help me and not just make another sale. Bought a 7 year old kia forte from this dealership about 2.5 months ago and this has been my experience so far. The salesman I dealt with was easy to work with but I already went in knowing what I wanted to look at. Once I was passed on to the finance manager/worker we came up with a bi weekly payment. I was called the next day and told I was approved but when I went in later that day they changed it and increased that payment by about 50%. I spent a few more hours there and we worked it back out to practically the same payment that was originally agreed on but had to spend a few extra hours there. I would have rather been told on the phone that they couldn't get the original price we agreed on. About 2 months later after leaving the car for about 12 hours in the cold without running, the battery died completely not even able to be boosted. I tried to book an appointment to have my battery replaced on their website but their online booking kept crashing. I called and left a message to get back to me to book but no one ever called back. I was able to get ahold of them later and booked the appointment. Long story short I asked to get a tire rotation and to replace the battery. I got a call back after they had my car for about 24 hours and was told they hadn't even rotated the tires yet and tried to upsell me 2 winter tires that I declined. I was then told that it would be $229 for parts and labor to replace the battery which I agreed to. When I went in to pick up the car my total was well over $400 just to replace the battery. Even though I wrote down the amount he told me over the phone and re confirmed the price multiple times, I was now being told the battery alone was over $250 dollars and was also being charged $90 dollars to test the dead battery and labour on top. Absolutely insane price to replace a battery. The service advisor I was working with also told me I needed an air filter and cabin air filter replaced and that the engine had a knocking sound that they wanted to charge me $160 an hour to diagnose. When I asked why it already needed the filters replaced after id only bought the car 2.5 months ago, I was told he'd look into it but I never heard back about it. He also didn't mention the knocking sound on the service record I recieved after picking my car up which I found very strange. All in all, the sales person i dealt with was the only part that went smooth. The rest has been fairly disappointing due to bad communication and I'd almost say straight up lying. I'm hoping at this point that the engine knocking was just an upsell for labour and not a serious issue on a car that I hadn't even had for 3 months. Only time will tell. At this point just based on the cost of service alone at this dealership, I would look at different shops if you need work done on your kia. If you are just looking to buy a kia, I would probably also look elsewhere because nice salesman aren't really enough. Not trying to tear this place down but I have dealt with other dealerships recently who have shown what all around quality service looks like and I haven't got that from this dealership so far.
Today I visited North Edmonton Kia to purchase a new sedan and Andrew was the first person to greet me at the door, answer all of my questions, and gave me the best customer service I’ve ever had at a car dealership. He gave me the knowledge I needed for me to make my own decision without pressuring me, unlike most car salesmen I have dealt with have done. 10/10 would recommend purchasing a new or used vehicle from North Edmonton Kia!
I came here yesterday to trade in my van when I got there I was greeted by Kelsey who was very friendly and helpful, I was then brought to the office of the finance guy, his name was Sam, I have to tell you this guy was amazing with making the numbers work to fit my budget, I ended up with a beautiful 2017 Hyundai Tuscon in mint condition, I was so overwhelmed I could not believe that this car was even in my budget, but Sam made it work, I just want to say thank you to all the staff and say you are all amazing people and really show you care about your customers, I will definitely be recommending you to all my friends and family!! Just received this from north side Kia from purchasing a vehicle. They are very thoughtful. My experience with them was really good, I felt like I was part of their team. Kris Reiniger was super great and she is very good at her job and talking to customers, and the rest of the team was really cool. I was having issues with my last vehicle and Kris helped me. I ended up driving away with a Kia Sportage. And I absolutely love it. By far one of my favourite vehicles out there.
Nancy is Service was amazing. I took my 2020 KIA Soul because I heard a knocking noise. On the first go around they found nothing, I took it back and Nancy was persisted and after 3 visits it was determines I needed a new engine. Nancy set me up with a rental.
