I was on vacation with my family from Medicine Hat. I was traveling with my trailer when I discovered a tire was low on my trailer. There was not any place I could get access to some air for the tire. I stopped in at Grizzly automotive and they were more than happy to help me. Honestly, one of the best garages I have been to. Jesse is a phenomenal receptionist, always smiling and helping out! They offer a shuttle to my work when needed. When my uhaul wiring was about to start a fire, they sorted it out , drove my car to my work and personally brought me my car key. Letting me pay via e-transfer. 10/10. They have always been honest with my service and never have worked without my permission.

I have had two negative experiences so far with grizzly auto. The first time I had to get my fuel pump done and they told me it would be a 1500$ fix all in. After calling around and doing some research I found out a fuel pump is nowhere near that much. I managed to talk them down after much back and forth. If I had said nothing they would have charged me the 1500$ and left it at that. The second one I had to replace my alternator, they where very helpful in helping me get the part warrantied and got the work done fast but when I got my car back the a/c, radio, clock and remote to lock and unlock the car did not work. I told them about this and they told me they have no way of knowing if they worked before they got the car and that they can’t do anything about it. If you want to end up with more problems then bring your car here. If not I’d suggest excel tire or any other shop in revelstoke.

No car issues but fabulous company! This company rescued two wonderful people from the Northern Lights Wildlife Society in Smithers, Angelika Langen and her partner. They were towing an enclosure with two young orphaned grizzly cubs (thier mother killed by a car and the cubs found huddled next to her body) when their truck sprung a leak of some sort. BCAA refused to help, saying the towed cubs were dangerous Cargo. After some pressure on BCAA to tow, Grizzly Automotive in Revelstoke stepped in, fixed the truck, helped save the cubs. Thank you to all the people involved, and a company with a heart.

I received the BEST customer service from Jesse at the front desk! My “service engine” light came on while I was on the highway causing me significant panic. I stopped in and Jesse was beyond kind, caring and helpful. A scan was done within 10 minutes and determined it wasn’t a safety issue so I was good to go. Had an inspection on the 17th of June 2021. My steering wheel was shaking a little at highway speeds and it was also pulling to the right side while driving. I don't know what they're smoking but Jesse seriously tried to convince me that my right front brake caliper was seizing as well as my rotors were warped and that was apparently the reason for my pull. All in all the estimate to replace my brakes et cetera would've been over 1800 Dollars. I thought "hmm this sounds like some big bs" and I was right. Went to another garage and he found that I just needed a tire rotation. Problem fixed. Anyhow they try to scam you if you're not from the area. Do not trust them! It will save you big money!

In the middle of my road trip from Vancouver to Calgary, I started to hear some loud rumbling coming from underneath my car. I randomly chose Grizzly Auto Repair to get my car checked out, and I am so glad I made the decision I did. Jesse at the front desk was immediately welcoming and assured me that my vehicle would be able to be seen by a mechanic. Luckily, it was a quick fix and I was able to get on the road quickly. The whole team of staff were professional, friendly, and fair. If I am ever in Revelstoke again, I will know where to bring my car. :) I was very pleased with my experience.

The inspection seemed thorough, pointing out some potential issues to watch out for in the future that weren't part of the safety inspection. They even helped talk me through doing some of the work myself, and then double checked it after! It was the best customer service I've ever had at a garage.

Lisa and team, Thank you so much for taking care of us at the end of our vacation. Our jeep stopped working on the highway 26km west of Revelstoke. After determining there was nothing i could do to get us going, a quick google search had Grizzly auto show up with a great rating. After calling we had it towed to their location. They quickly looked at it an hour before closing and it appeared to be the fuel pump. This could not be done in that short of time so we stayed overnight and called in the morning. What we thought was going to be an 800$ bill turned out to be 116$. The wires were corroded so they cleaned them up and charged us a very fair rate. Thank you so much for caring about the business you have and the people that come see you! If you ever have issues near Revelstoke go see the team at Grizzly. You will not be disappointed!!

Had my spark plugs and wires replaced on my 2004 Benz E class. This car is heavily modded so many shops won't touch it. He also changed the oil on my Wrangler on the same day. The total cost was nearly half the price of independent brick and mortar shops with the benefit of everything happening just outside my doors! Benz and Jeep ran great after the repairs. The Benz is now quieter than it has ever been (no more ticking engine noise when hot). He took extra care and did research to ensure the parts I supplied for the modded Benz were appropriate for the car. Definitely give him a call for your auto repair needs.

I highly recommend Grizzly Auto Repair! I was moving from Alberta to Abbotsford and when I arrived in Revelstoke my car started shaking. I drove to Grizzly’s and they got me as soon as possible. My car was not worth the fix and I couldn’t carry on. I was devastated. The receptionist, Jesse, and shop manager, Tom(I believe) were so kind, caring, helpful, and accommodating. They went above and beyond!! We went over different scenarios and they helped me figure out what to do. The receptionist booked me a hostel for the night. The next day I dropped my car off at the auto wreckers, where she picked me up and drove me to the greyhound bus. She waited there to make sure everything was ok with bringing my luggage before she left. I felt truly blessed and grateful to have met them and for all their help!!! An unfortunate event turned into a very positive one.
