I am so happy with the service I got from everyone at Northland Hyundai. I was given two vehicles to test drive until I fell in love with my Tucson. I knew the features I wanted and Chris Bone helped me find what I needed and worked with Lance to go beyond the extra mile to make sure I walked away happy. The guys in financing were very nice to work with and I ended up driving away with it THAT day with an appointment in place for all the extras (block heater, hitch, etc.) installed. In fact, Chris also checked in after I walked away to make sure things are still going well!! I was nervous about purchasing a new vehicle but now I am a very proud Tucson owner ????

My experience at Northland Hyundai was by far the best experience I have had at any of the dealerships in Prince George. Cristina was beyond helpful and was easily the best salesperson I have ever met. She was very friendly, charismatic, and honest. After tirelessly looking for a vehicle for some time, we finally found the perfect SUV there and they were able to set us up for with everything we needed in record time. I bought a pre owned 2014 car last Friday. Got it registerd the same day and spoke to the representative about getting it completely detailed (in & out) and delivered to me on Tuesday. Oh yeah! Here is the silly part, the rep who sold me this car said it was detailed twice and was inspected twice. Figures out that when I received it, the interior panels are still greasy and a lot of dust, seats has some coffee and grease stains. Awesome thing is the windshield wiper grip is torn apart and No washer fluid. I might have got into an accident with snow and slush all over the roads today. When I informed the same thing to the rep over the phone, he doesn't agree that there is no washer fluid. SERIOUSLY, all the washer fluid is used or evoparated in just 1 day after the inspection. I would recommend not to trust the dealership reps. They would say anything to get it sold. Check each and everything in detail personally and then start the paperwork. IT'S A GREAT DISSAPOINTMENT WITH NORTHLAND HYUNDAI SERVICE!!!!!

I would call FRAUD ALERT. I purchased the car with down-payment in cash. Seller suggested me a insurance package with reasonable price and promised I can walk out the contract as soon as I want to. However, after 4 months, I was not happy with the current company and wanted to switch to the other companies. It turned out They already used my down-payment to paid for the insurance company WITHOUT TELLING ME??? WHAT!! I have to stick with an AWFUL INSURANCE for 4 years now. Many excuses like "Sorry I could not do that or nothing we can do about that" You are kidding me. Be aware of this people, they will lure you in a unfair contract and charge you plenty of unknown fees.

I wanted to buy a new vehicle while I was in town. I had done my research prior and went into Northland with a plan. Not only did Petr find me exactly what I wanted, he was able to get it for less than I was willing to spend. I spent nearly 4 hours at the dealership and felt valued the entire time.

Terrible Customer Service
I am always leery when going to a car dealership, and feel that most dealers want to make a quick buck and get you out the door. I had a completely different experience here, Deanna made me feel comfortable and helped me through the 'experience' from beginning to end, thanks D! Chris is also a great to work with and was eager to work out a fair deal including helping me with some research on other vehicles, this guy rocks! I also had the pleasure of meeting Mario whom you can tell runs this dealership with integrity, really positive great guy. Kevin and Andrew in parts found me some awesome new tires for my ride, and DJ also gave me a ride home and went over some of the other details of the RAM. Everyone was great! I don't write many reviews, usually only when I get a bad experience somewhere, but I wanted to share the positive experience I had here. In the end I'm sitting with a smoking deal on a great used Ram and going back tomorrow for free hot dogs to thank the staff again.
I recently made a purchase of a Hyundai Kona 2019 after finally realizing my 10 year old car might not last as long as I hoped it would. I wanted a Hyundai because my other older car is a Hyuundai, and so I went to Northland Hyundai. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and, while very enthusiastic, not pushy, which was what had drove me away from another dealership in Prince George. Chris Bone and Brandon were patient with my questions, allowed me to take the car I wanted out on a test drive, and, on the day I bought the car, gave me a loner car so I could take care of some business. Everything was handled well at the dealership, and it's been a pleasure to drive ever since.

It would be a 1-Star if Joe and Lance weren’t there. It’s always expected that you try to get a good deal for you and they will try to do business. I tried couple of vehicles and they keep on being pushy to get onto their offer! Finally the general manager literally took a class on how dealership works 101, felt so offended. I understand probably he was frustrated not getting a good price from me what he wanted but I didn’t like his one either. If something doesn’t work out we need stop that right there! Afterwards, I bought a vehicle from PG Ford and they were fantastic! But specially Joe (the sales guy) was so good, and I felt so bad that I could not get a car with him.

We were so blown away by the service we received! We bought a 2010 used van, I'm sure one of the cheapest vehicles on the lot, and not only were we thrilled with the van and confident we received a sound vehicle for a great price - but the service was unlike any other we had ever received! We first saw the van and were looking at it a few days before buying it. While we were looking, since they had just received it, they took it away to be inspected and detailed. They inspect their used vehicles SO thoroughly! We tried to come back HOURS later and they were still inspecting it. We showed up a few days later at a later time, test drove the van, took our time thinking over and discussing the price and our trade-in, and finally decided to buy it. By this time the bank we needed financing from had closed so Hyundai put us up in a hotel for the night (we were from out of town) and welcomed us back first thing in the morning. Before buying the van, it was cleaned (after being detailed a few days ago) and filled up with gas for us, all complimentary. Shortly after we made the purchase, we were downtown and a light came on in the van. We went back and they immediately figured out what had happened, brought someone in from another company, and fixed it. All it was was a monitor that had been broken during the cleaning. They were very apologetic, dealt with it as quickly as possible, and even gave us a gas card for our trouble. We recommend them whole-heartedly for the following reason: 1) FULL disclosure. They tell you EVERYTHING about this vehicle. All the good, the bad, and every accident it has ever been in (no matter how small). You know what you are getting, which is SO comforting when you are buying used. 2) Full inspection. They pulled this thing apart, checking EVERYTHING. As I said, it was a 2010 and one the cheapest ones on the lot, but we saw for ourselves how thoroughly they inspected it. 3) Incredible service. Chris was the salesmen we worked with; he was so friendly and helpful, but not pushy at all like the typical car salesmen you picture. They were straight forward about the price and trade in value, but considerate and willing to negotiate also. We interacted with the manager as well as the owner and all of them treated us so respectfully. Like I said, they take super good care of you and you leave feeling so good about the experience.
made an appointment to get a recall fixed on my car and when i brought in for the appointment i was told the part wasn’t in stock. it took them 25 minutes to come out and say the part wasn’t in . this is the second time this has happened where i have had an appointment and the part wasn’t in... not impressed- wasted my time

Every visit has been great, but one in particular stands out for me. Back in March, I was in the dealership at 7:45 am for a service appointment at 10 am, to get a recall looked after. I was waiting for the shuttle to drive me to my meeting, when the service guy said they could do the work right away - would I want that? Yes of course! Then I started ruminating about 'now I need money for parking", having spent the cash I had on me. The fellow standing beside me (turns out it was Mario - the AGM), handed me a $20 bill! said no strings attached, Wow!! I like that kind of service!! So, recently, when we wanted to buy a used car, we went straight to Hyundai and were treated like family (or maybe better). These people know their business and treat their customers so well; I will continue to buy vehicles from them.
Every salesperson my husband & I have dealt with here, while deciding on a new vehicle to buy, has been very friendly, polite and professional. Not too pushy either. There is also a children's play area in the building.

Fantastic customer service! Second to none!! From the moment you walk though the door to the minute you leave, you feel like you are really appreciated and you business is valued! I was completely undecided whether or not I wanted to buy a new vehicle, so much so I wound up being at the dealership for nearly 6 hours while I went on test drives and reviewed my options. During all that time there wasn't a single second that I didn't feel like I was valued and important. The sales guy, Petr, and sales manager, Lance, were so patient and really friendly and helpful that I didn't feel any pressure to buy anything. But I did buy something, I wound up leaving there with a nice new Hyundai Tucson, and I am thoroughly glad that I did!!

Do not buy from Hyundai. They have terrible customer service and seem to only care about dollars. A friend of mine bought a car from them, they charged way more than the retail value of the car. She's paying way way too much for the car and interest etc, so she changed her mind and wants to return it. They basically said too bad and now she's stuck with a car that she doesn't want. No customer service, no caring for the customer, only greed. If you want to get stuck paying $30,000 for an $8,000 vehicle then this is the place for you.
This dealership is apparently under new management. I bought a brand new car from them 3 weeks ago. They lied about a free hotel room if from out of town which I am. Refused to pay. My friend who referred me to them was told she would receive a 200.00 referral fee. They are refusing to pay it. I have had to send several angry emails and. now the salesman Don said I guess I will have to pay it out of my pocket! Really?? You are the one that promised my friend the referral fee, what is the problem??? They totally lied to me my 43000.00 car ended up costing much more with all their added fees, book keeping tweeks. I would love to return it and walk away. Stay away!!!

Sales staff worked very hard to meet our needs. We test drove several models until we found what we were looking for. There are still a few issues to resolve and they have set up an appointment for tomorrow to fix them.

I bought a used 2009 Hyundai Accent from here in july. I had just moved across the country for a job and needed something to get me around while I got settled. I was paying cash for a vehicle and gave them my Max price ALL in that I was able to spend and made it clear that was firm.Went through the whole process and only when I sat down to sign did I see that the cost was now approximately 2000 dollars more than what was initially discussed as it was all before taxes and fees. The day I got it home I suddenly realized that there was a crack in the front bumper that it had been duct taped in the same colour as the car. I should’ve noticed this but didn’t, but they also should have either alerted me to it or offered to fix it. I had to return to the dealership and fight for them to fix it for me, which thankfully they did. The car was also sold to me with two sets of tires. The set that were on it and a set of winter tires. Great right? Well when I went back there in spring to get the summer tires put back on I was informed that both sets of tires were winters. And it was now up to me to buy a new set for summer. I spoke with the service department who had me speak to the salesperson I had dealt with.when I asked what they could do to remedy this I was mocked and told that normally old cars don’t even come with winter tires. The salesman told me he would talk to the manager to see what could be done. A month later I had not heard anything. I phoned the manager who had never been alerted to my questions or concerns. The excuses were that they didn’t know they were both winters, that it’s fine to drive on winter tires in the summer, etc. My concern was always that the deal with the car at the time of purchase was that I would get two sets of tires. No reasonable person would assume that they would both be winters. I just would’ve liked the courtesy for that fact to be disclosed at the time of purchase so that I could make decisions and plans around it. The overall attitude seems to be that if you are buying a used car at a lower price point you don’t deserve honesty, transparency or decent customer service. The manager then after much discussion offered to give me a used set if they had one lying around that fit. Which they of course did not. And then quoted me discounted prices for new sets. I am not willing at this point to invest more in this car nor am I willing to continue to do business with this dealership and will be looking at other options.I am not one to complain or even write reviews but I was deeply disappointed with my experience here. Make sure you ask a lot of questions before you buy a vehicle cz they are not gonna tell you anything. They will focus on getting your signature on every paper possible. Once they get your money they will forget you and will ignore you completely. They never heard of a thing named REFUND. because that doesn't exist for managers at Northland Hyundai. Also, who needs credit information at first place just to test drive a car ? some sales rep are awesome but I think they are forced to follow that useless process. They will help you buying a vehicle by saying all the good things but will never help you if you get any problem with vehicle. Stay away from these scammers.
hands down amazing people. jared and lance are aside from thier good looks n there just to take your money. they actually do what they say they can do and will and have bent over backwards to help me get into the vehicle i liked.. i appreciate the honestly and respect i had been given by not only these two but Don aswell who continued to answer probably 1 million questions i had before i arrived at northland hyundai. you guys have no idea how thankful i am because of this. i didnt think id ever be where iam today. specially 4 years ago i wouldve laughed if someone told me this is how my life was gunna turn around to. so again. thank you all for all your hard work and dedication for helping me keep my business going. you always have my business now!!!
Over the years we have bought one van, one car, one SUV and we've just purchased our first truck from Northland Hyundai. We have changed our vehicles to meet our growing family's needs over the years and have had a great experience each time we've visited be it for sales, warranty or service needs. The team at Northland Hyundai always seems to go the extra mile to make sure we get what we need done each time. An extra thanks goes out to our sales man, Taylor Bye, who did a great job during our test drive and negotiations right up to our departure with our truck. I would also like to send a big thank you to our finance man Philippe Vachon, who over the years has gone above and beyond to make sure our financial needs have been met every time. Chris Vigue made sure that he gave us the best deal possible on our trade in to purchase our truck. Over all, I would think that one would be hard pressed to find a team who stands together and upholds a sense of commitment, customer service and loyalty to getting things done right the way the way the team at Northland Hyundai does. The lady in the service department was really rude to me today and unfortunately this is not my first bad experience with this dealership. I've had such great experiences at the Maple Ridge Hyundai but mostly terrible ones in PG. Northland Hyundai causes me to question whether to get another Hyundai when I buy my next car. The dealership is great, they've treated me very good since the 1st time my car came through their doors. From the top down I've been treated great, no double speak, straight shooters.

Terrible customer service. When I chatted online with a customer service rep, they don't answer the question I asked and closed the chat when I asked if they were a bot (fair enough, they were offended). The salesperson/manager also said that they would me back in 10 minutes about booking an appointment to see a vehicle but I never received any call from them. Wish I could take my business elsewhere but there are few options in Prince George for electric vehicles.
Poor customer service. When ordering assesories, one worker said it was ordered then another worker said it was never ordered in. To pick up assesories took 4 hours.
Never buy a car from Northland Hyundai. We bought our Santa Fe 2 years ago and have had nothing but problems with the dealership. They told us rock chips were covered by the paint protection package along with rust and sun fading. Come time for inspection and repairs and nope, rock chips are not covered. They didn't even wash the car to check things out for the sun fading. Every time I've had it in for service there has been a problem and more often than not I'm left sitting waiting for them to pick me up for over an hour after they said they would be there. The manager's response was summed up by sucks to be you, we're not going to do anything about it. Complete and total fail

I've been to 3 dealerships, and Braiden, by far, was the best and wonderful! We've been exchanging e-mails for the past 2 months (or probably more), and he was very supportive and patient with me as I have so many silly questions for him. Our relationship as a customer and him as a dealer was incredible. He provided me with what I demanded. He'll perpetually be part of my adventure in buying and having my first ever vehicle. Not trustworthy. I was ready to pull the trigger on a pre-owned Santa Fe I had already negotiated the price with one associate when he abruptly left the store and turned me over to another associate who promptly reneged on their offer. When I protested I was told that they weren't accepting the offer that I made to them. I said "no that's the offer he made to me!" To which I was informed that when the other guy said: "If it was $23500 would you shake on it right now?" (which seems like some kind of line that they teach them in fraudster 101), that was just a hypothetical not an offer! Absolutely slimy! I would give zero stars for that if it were possible! Don't waste your time.
My son went to purchase his very first car on the weekend and our experience could not have gone any better. From making the car affordable for a full time student on a part time working budget to "babysitting" my 4 year old son while we were doing paper work, Michael went above and beyond. I will recommend Northland Hyundai. Firstly I think the Sante Fe is a great vehicle, I had a 2015 and traded it for a 2021 Sante Fe Essential. I feel that I was dealt with in a respectful and honest manner, I was not pressured into anything I didn't want or need. Everyone was very friendly and respectful.

A year ago I visited the dealership just browsing the available vehicles and options. The salesman that sold me my Elantra was no longer with them and it allowed me to meet Chris Perry. I decided at that time that trading in for the SUV I wanted wasn't the right time. So this year when my daughter and I decided to drive through the lot to see the SUVs available, Chris was walking out in the lot and he actually remembered me and the exact model I was looking for. It's turns out, my trade in could be maxed and it was the excellent opportunity for me to buy the Sante Fe I wanted with options that the other makes couldn't even compare with for the price I was paying. The warranty is a full five years too... In comparison the other vehicles in its class the Sante Fe gives you maximum comfort and convenience (AWD, back up camera, heated seats, steering, moon roof, navigation, infinity sound system... And so much more), with a lower price point! Sometimes things can have a hiccup or go a little sideways and that happened with me. But, this is where all the staff at this dealership completely acted with professionalism and made it all right. What you do and the decisions you make about the wrong will differentiate you from your competition. And Really, I believe they went above and beyond with making a difficult situation turn into such a positive experience. My friends and family were in awe with how they made it right. They were sincere in their apology and they treat me like an old friend when I go in, it's never awkward rather it's quite the opposite. Not only do I recommend Chris Perry as one of the best sales people I've ever dealt with, I recommend this dealership as your go to dealership for your new or used car needs. They are always just so happy you're there. When my kids were looking at vehicles they were treated with respect as well, they were respected as potential buyers and lifetime customers. They felt like they were taken seriously. Chris is an outstanding salesman. I still text him for random things and he still treats me like a priority. He is genuine, happy, honest, and his integrity is certainly in tact. Northland Hyundai is a fantasticly run dealership, that really feels like a team. You will be respected, they will be honest and they will treat you well when things are going well and if/when there may be a hiccup. They will greet you in the lot when you're looking. But they aren't there for the hard sell. They really do want to serve you and help you find what suits your needs the best. If you're just looking they understand and they will probably remember you when you are ready!
There it was, the car I've been looking for, a little sporty, but still practical, kinda fast but still great on gas, all the salesman needed to do was show me where to sign, I was even going to pay in cash! No financing needed at all, and that's where my problems began. When I let the financing manager know I'd pay for it in full I was met with silence, nothing, he just didn't reply to my email. I gave it a couple days and emailed the salesman again with a couple questions, one of which was delivery, I'm from a different town and didn't feel like making the drive down if I didn't have to. So a simple question, how much is delivery, should be pretty easy to answer, but nooo of course not. His reply, "Best bet is to take the car for a spin first. If you liek it and it is the right vehicle then I can work up a deal for you. Sounds good?" ah yes that makes sense, I'll drive 6 hours there, look at the vehicle, drive back and then wait for it to be delivered to me, what a great idea! It took me close to a week to finally squeeze the answer I was looking for out of him. Once I finally got all the answers I was looking for we settled on a price and it was going to be mine! After a week of agonizing emails we finally reached the end. At least I thought... I was told my car would be delivered in a couple days between 12 and 1:30, perfect that works great! It was all settled, but then the next night, the night before it was supposed to be delivered I get notified there's a problem with the driver, and told it won't be here until Thursday now, basically a week later. So now I'm left without a vehicle for a week and a salesman that doesn't like to answer questions. One week isn't the end of the world, I survived but I thought it only fair to think that a little compensation might be in order, and I mean little, all I wanted was floor mats. So I talk to the salesman about possible compensation, annddd he doesn't reply. A couple days later I try again and he still avoids the topic, I bring it up once more, this time directly talking about him avoiding the topic and I'm left with the most political answer one could give, "I'll see what I can do, no promises though." As Thursday rolled around I was wondering when I might expect my new vehicle, after a few more emails, no answers given and questions not replied to I finally got what I was looking for, "my driver is leaving early." thanks.. To sum it all up, I fully regret starting this endeavour of buying a vehicle from them, I will never be going back to this dealership for anything whatsoever, there were constant spelling mistakes and a huge lack of professionalism, and constant questions left without answers. Update* Shortly after posting this review I received a call from Nathan, he helped clear the entire ordeal and made sure to get some floor mats mailed to me. This was greatly appreciated and slightly renewed my faith in the team at Northland Hyundai.
Poor form by the manager of the service department. I brought my car in yesterday for service and after picking it up my remote start does not work and the dash lights go dim each time I touch the brakes. He insisted they did not go near any electrical and would not take my car back in for service even though those things were working fine until after I had the car worked on. He made no effort to rectify the situation and was very unhelpful by basically placing the blame on me. I felt I was treated very poorly and believe that he should have done more to get my car in today and have it fixed, rather than just have him repeat that "we did not go near the electrical or fuses or touch anything under the hood" therefore not helping the situation at all. I have been a loyal customer and have only ever taken my car in for servicing at this location, however, with the lack of professionalism I experienced today, I certainly would not recommend to any of my friends or family to go there.

I just don’t think there’s enough space for me to write about just how wonderful my experience was at this dealership! I was very pressed for time, needing to sell my fathers truck in 1 day. This was the last dealership I went into after a long day and almost feeling defeated. As soon as I walked in it just felt so different than the other dealerships I had been in that day. I didn’t feel like anyone was trying to rip me off and just the opposite actually.....everyone was extremely happy, friendly, and accommodating of my circumstances. The associate that helped me, Tevye, was so understanding and worked hard to get me the deal I asked for. I was shocked at how easy they made everything for my father and I and how quickly as well. He even gave us a ride to the airport the next day! Now that’s amazing customer service! I have to say, everyone that worked there seemed super happy with genuine smiles on their faces and I could just tell they really loved their job. If I had to buy a car now.....I might just go all the way back there from down here in California, just for the amazing customer service alone! No hustle, no pressure, just kind people truly wanting to help you get what you came in for!!!! ????????????????????????????????Thank you!!!

They were horrible. We are from out of town and took our vehicle in for a service, was not supplied the courtesy car that we were promised . Their shuttle service dropped us off at pine centre mall. When it was time to pick us back up they said we would have to wait an hour or so. In the middle of a snowstorm we found a complete stranger that was willing to drive my daughter, my 3 year old granddaughter and myself back to get our vehicle. I will never do business with any of the Northland dealerships again.

My experiences with the service department have been nothing but disappointing but then again my last vehicle was a Volkswagen and their service department is beyond exceptional...The last straw for me was today I had a 945 appointment to do a tire change over. When I got there I was told that it wouldn't be ready until 2pm!! I worked at 2pm so had to cancel my appointment. When I asked Dave if there was anything with a short wait time coming up he just said no put an "X" through my work order and handed me my keys. What I would have expected was for him to check his appointment book . But in his usual arrogance Dave must have had it memorized. Like I said this was the last straw. In the past they also tried to get me to do additional services on my vehicle. I have come to expect the dealer to contact me when service is due not to try to up sell me. I'm quickly beginning to regret my choice of vehicle

Extremely pushy. From the beginning, we should have driven away. Our salesman was extremely immature and ran in front of our vehicle as he thought we were leaving the lot, he wanted to "grab our attention". He showed us features that we didn't care about on the vehicles. When asked about pricing on vehicles, he admitted to having no clue what the price was. When we went on a test drive, I asked him to figure out the price of the vehicle while we were driving. Apparently it wasn't worth his time to find the pricing cause we weren't sure that we were interested in the vehicle. Second vehicle that we test drove, he still didn't have a price for us again. I asked to see the different models before test driving and he just brought whatever trim level he thought we would like. He tried selling us on their service department even though I made it clear that we will never be back for servicing as we live too far and there is a closer dealership to our home. At the end of the day, this left a really impression of hyundai for me and I would never consider the brand.

outstanding,Joel was the sales guy who sold me a 2014 Tucson it turned out that the previous owner registration papers weren't with the vehicle and it was going to take a couple days to get them fedxed up. so they put me into a 2017 elantra full tank of gas and told me to go home,they said we'll call you when all the paperwork is in and we'll drive your 2014 Tucson to burnslake and then switch .I'd say that kinda service is hard to beat ... I recently bought a new 2020 Sante Fe from Hyundai. I walked into the dealership with the intentions of looking around, expecting it to take me a while to make a decision... however I was promptly approached by a wonderful sales person (Chris Bone) who listened to everything I said I was looking for, the price range that was comfortable, and all the perks I wanted in a car, he was able to find me the perfect fit, he wasn’t pushy, or too in my face, I didn’t once feel like he was just trying to make a sale. The finance department was extremely helpful and fast getting everything sorted out. My overall experience was so much better than i was expecting. I would highly recommend Hyundai to anyone I know who is looking for a new or used vehicle! The Sante Fe is absolutely amazing, drives like a dream, literally feels like a high-end luxury vehicle (it is to me anyways...) but on top of that I had an excellent sales and finance experience! Thank you so much everyone at Hyundai for making this the easiest stress free vehicle shopping experience!

I am very grateful for Braiden and Nathan from Northland Hyundai. They both were exceptionally patient and understanding with me this evening. I've had some terrible experiences at other dealerships between being sold lemons to feeling pressured, rushed and ignored. Braiden took extra care to provide plenty of information about one of their vehicles and ensured that I felt both heard and understood. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase or trade in a vehicle.
Disappointed. Got a call from the service team re: my ordered cabin air filter has arrived. When I got in there, it was not available. I've asked the guy at the service department why did they call me and he just answered, "WE JUST DON'T HAVE IT". I just wasted my time coming in and talking to that "BEST" service personnel you have.
