Here you will see all the information of real people like you who are purchasing the services of Gustafson’s Kia North (Car Concessionaire) in the area close to Prince George (Canada).
At the moment the firm has a score of 4 stars over 5 and this score has been calculated on 33 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is high, and it's based on a very high number of scores, so we can say that the assessment is quite credible. If many people have bothered to rate when they are pleased, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to give tatings when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Car Concessionaire is classified in the category of Kia dealer.
The staff was great! We (two young women) were greeted immediately, and treated with nothing but respect the whole time. The saleswoman wasn't pushy at all, and was very friendly and informative. The building was clean and in decent shape. We got some tires put on and were going to have to wait a few hours. They send us to do our errands in a loaner car and called us 45 minutes later saying they had bumped us up because we had to drive a few hours to get home. The customer service was fantastic! The finance person was a bit pushy about the warranty, but we think it's because he genuinely believes in it which is fair. We got what we were hoping to get on our trade in and ended up leaving very pleased!
Really nice salesman, not pushy just trying to sell cars. Definitely would go back.
I worked for Gustafson’s Kia for a short period before being let go as I was not the right fit. Let me just say that they are a wonderful group of people who genuinely want the best for the customer. They appraise trade ins fantastically and fairly. The dealer price is essentially MSRP. If you find yourself looking for a new car, talk to Jewel or Brendan, they are wonderful people. Despite being let go, I can genuinely say this is a good place to get a new car or trade in.
Couldn't be happier with my experience at Gustafsons!
I call to ask Gustafson Kia to contact me when they had a service special. Guess what....they said no. I have to come in and spend some money first on a service. I told them it's a 5 hour drive for me, could they just drop me an email so I know when to come in - and they said 'no'.
they refuse to respond to messages....
I’ll give a 3, every person in this dealership has been extremely nice , never had a bad experience, 3 years with them, I’ve gotten my very first vehicle there and traded it in recently for a newer one. The only issue was asking questions about a misunderstanding that had happened during the trade. Instead of being helpful I was told that I was calling him a liar, he didn’t want to speak with me anymore instead of trying to help me understand. At this point I feel like I should just bring it back and go elsewhere, or just always have two people with me. I’m uncomfortable, especially with how the phone call went. I don’t feel comfortable with the situation at all.
Had an excellent time dealing with Sales and Financing Staff! They took care of my wants and wishes and didn't try to give us the run around. We purchased a brand new 2015 Forte EX Winter Edition (Outdated review, yes) it had many features and it was a good, economic car for my Fiancee... or so I thought! *Keep in mind the following is more of a warning* I should have done some investigation into the Forte before purchasing! The 1.8 MPI is prone to HORRIBLE piston slap. Between all the fires and engine failures of other models, it seems the 1.8 has slipped under the radar, although with a little research you can find many people with piston slap issues. Now, to clarify, I'm very particular about maintaining our vehicles. Quality filter and synthetic religiously every 5000k, filters checked frequently, PCV valves changed every 20000. It seems this was inevitable! When the slap (almost sounded like a tick in the beginning) started to develop, I was losing it! I changed to another brand of synthetic with no results. Switched back to conventional with no results. It was here to stay. I have not reached out to the Dealer as we plan on up-sizing soon anyway and it seems a recall has not been made regarding the issue. (Kia and Hyundai are horrible with recalls.) Always research the vehicle you plan to purchase, Kia or not!
One of the friendliest dealerships in P.G. great service, they value there customers and it shows!
Love these guys! Straight forward no BS.
They did a good job on our regular service. Lost a star because no car wash was included, although our tier 3 service yielded over $300 to them - not even a voucher to get one done off-site like some other Kia dealers give.
Our 2015 Kia Sorento's sunroof violent exploded while driving down the highway. Instead of investigating and warrantying this for us, they told us to go to ICBC. Luckily we phoned Kia Canada and they were FAR more helpful that Gustafson's Kia.
Absolutely by far the best car dealership I have ever been to. Exceptional staff who are friendly, and don't pressure you into sales. You also won't have any staff hover over your shoulder when you are looking at vehicles, which is a far cry from most other dealerships. The staff will listen to your needs and find you something apporriate to them. I have personally purchased three seperate vehicles from them and couldn't be happier.
Good service department helpfully staff
Initial person we talked to was good at his job and was straight with what we went in for. Behind the scenes however.... Had a personalized keychain that was custom made broken by the tech, with out even apologizing and after changing fluids didn't tighten things up. We drove about 10 KMs after getting the car back and realized after we parked oil pouring out of the motor, looked back from where we had driven to realize that oil was in a line behind the car. This all happened at 4:30 Friday evening so of course we are stuck in town, (we are from a town 7 hours away from the dealership), Rookie mistakes that cost us money out of pocket to stay in town and could have ruined the motor of our brand new vehicle. NOT IMPRESSED
Car dealership good service
Nice bunch of people, not your typical pushy, arrogant car dealership types. If you are looking for a new car, give them a visit, if you want to maybe even ask for Jewel, the nicest car sales person I've ever met.
We were from out of town and needed to get a block heater installed as we were heading up North. They did this on short notice and finished the job quickly. Very happy with the service.
Loved every bit of my experience in buying my brand new car ❤
Best, Fast, Friendly Service. I was driving my 2007 chevy cobalt up to my son in Smithers from Penticton when I broke down just coming into PG called BCAA and he informed me that all shops were fully booked until Monday or Tuesday. I only deal with Penticton Kia so I thought i would see if the Kia dealership here had a mechanic shop as well. Well they did and they got me in right away, diagnosed my vehicle problem. They also let me keep it there overnight until I could figure out a way to tow it the rest of the way! They also offered to drive us to a hotel as well. Glad I thought of Kia and they definitely pulled through Best Service in town!
Absolutely the worst customer service and experience ive ever had! First we are quoted a price on winter tires and set up the appointment and show up for service only to notice before we drive away a different set of tires on. Their response "Well its still a top three tire that you have on now", searched many sites and still couldnt find that tire listed in any top three. Next we notice damage to the door seal that was caused by them incorrectly installung a roof rack. They inform us they will order and call us to set up an appointment. We call in to inquire about the door seal only to find out its been there for over a week already. Highly recommend anyone considering purchasing a vehicle elsewhere. Besides one of the receptionists friendly and positive attitude the rest of the staff and service here is horrendous.
In Prince George, the only place I'll my two vehicles, a Kia and a Honda, for service is Gustafson's Kia. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, their rates are reasonable and, most importantly, they're obviously honest about what does and does not need to be done. I had been told by another shop in Prince George that a repair was needed and would cost several hundred dollars; an inspection, shortly afterwards, at Gustafson's Kia found no issue. In addition, front suspension work on my Honda is definitely required and will cost much less at Gustafson's Kia than what two other shops in town quoted me.
Very helpful
Excellent service, friendly professional staff! I felt comfortable and respected as a young female shopper. I was offered a very generous value for my trade in and I am very happy with my new Sportage!
Real friendly and professional
Had an awful experience with salesman William. Took advantage and sold a very overpriced car, allowed for an Elderly lady to be walked over and didn't listen to the concerns. The bad experience still continued through the finance office. I would not recommend Gustafsons Kia to anyone.
I had a great experience at this dealership. Their service was impeccable, they were honest and truly want the best for the customer. If you are looking for a deal anywhere in BC, it is worth it to give these guys a call. Ask Brenden to help you out, he's a good guy.
