We were visiting the Island and had a very concerning sound coming from one of our Explorer's wheels. We called up Alex MacDonald's and they fit us into the service schedule and quickly resolved the problem (at no charge as it turned out to be a very minor issue). They also noticed that we were overdue for regular maintenance and managed to get that done for us immediately as well. Brad, the service agent was friendly and helpful. This is a perfect example of a well run Ford dealership. Thanks for making a potentially vacation impacting issue a non-issue!

My experience was a ultra very pleasant one. Just for S#%^ and Giggles I called and asked for an oil change and mentioned that I had needed it within the next 5 minutes and you know what? I was told to drop in and they will see if anyone was working through the lunch break. OMG!! ok ok .. I know right!! So I show up and Give them the Keys to my Fusion. I was still in shock that they had done this for me and had me in and out of there within the hour. Well this least I could do was give them a few stars. Very happy with my 2018 F-150. Sales associate Gary Moore was courteous and professional. He asked what I wanted in a truck and custom ordered one in for me with no pressure or no commitment at all. Leah Noye in the finance department did not try to sell me any add ons I did not need and I never encountered any pressure to buy any add ons like life insurance or disability insurance. Overall a great experience at D Alex MacDonald.

When it comes to a larger expense, things should be double checked so all info matches. I never liked getting my car checked at dealers and this will be the only and last time.

Highly disappointed in the customer service here when it comes to getting my car worked on. I had issues with my Focus, and they wrongly diagnosed it the first time, then the 2nd time, they said I needed a new Fuel Pump, but yet never called me to tell me my car was done. After a week and a half of no calls or responses when I finally got my car back, I went in and they never ordered it because they had to do more tests, and my car was gradually getting worse and worse. My file was at the bottom of a drawer, and the girl said she was gunna call me, but never did. So I've been driving around for almost 2 weeks with a car that could cut out at any time.. I dropped my car off 2 hours ago, and still have yet to get a call about my tires being completed and the tests being done. It only ever takes them one hour, and i doubt the tests would take that long. I won't be going with Ford next time if this keeps up.

The service is great. I am very happy with the car. I am frustrated with SYNC... I find it hard to use voice commands. I can only get American weather... I bought the car and also live in Canada. I find it completely useless when using it to find nearest services. When it can't get what you said she goes through the whole list of options that have nothing to do with your original voice command. If you needed something in a hurry you may as well forget it. I have been in other makes cars and their set up is not as complicated and frustrating. I can't download any apps from my phone because it won't upload anything but my contacts. With the technology of today, don't you think Ford should be leading the rest. Truthfully, all the vehicles out there are pretty specialized.... service is all great. But all it takes is this when you invest in a top of the line car, that just takes the fun out of it. So not what, I am told that there is nothing that can improve this system.... maybe soon... well this would have effected my purchase. What is the sense of buying something that I will be frustrated with just making a voice command call. I would hate to have to call 911.

I recently had my truck in for service the turbo on the driver side was not working They had to keep it over the weekend supplied me with a car The gas tank was empty I think the best way to do it have the car full of gas and when the customer returns it make sure it is full of gas if not supply them with a bill other than that it was a great service and they kept me in the loop

always been treated good but what i an disappointed in is i have 75000 klms on my truck and have to spend major money on it turbo says something about truck when you cant get 80000 klms 1700 dollars truck is out of warranty by 5 months truck has always been well cared for will be trading in the spring would suggest to anyone be careful about by a truck with a turbo i have two turbos so will have to do something with truck quickly before the other one goes. service is great though i know truck is out of warranty but would like a little help oh well. june 17 my experience at d alex macdonald has always been a good one they are very helpful and explains every thing great again the only thing that is disappointing is the product this is my second truck in a row a 2010 and this 2013 both only had around 75000 klms when i had to put on alot of expensive parts example timing chain and front cover rear end turbos manifolds three that is what hurts the most should be more than five years warranty because i dont drive much both trucks were over five years old but no mileage other than that great thanks.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in servicing my vehicle. My appointment was scheduled for 8am and I was advised that the repair would take 2.5hrs. I returned 2.5hrs later and advised that the repair would take another 2hrs at least, primarily because they didn't even start looking at my truck till 930am... a whole 1.5hrs after my appt time. When I asked about this, they said that they were "running behind schedule" which is quite difficult to do since my truck was scheduled for the first appt of the day at 8am!! On top of that, there was no attempt whatsoever to apologize for this initial delay, in fact, they made me feel like I was the one who was at fault for expecting them to have started the appt on time. On top of that, the entire repair process took over 6 hours!!! This is completely unacceptable considering there were not surprises in the repair (no unpredicted issues encountered). They made no attempt whatsoever to take responsibility for this extremely long delay. I had to completely change my day's schedule which affected my entire family and work schedule. This is the worse car care that I have ever encountered and absolutely worst receptionist I have encountered in a very long time. Very poor customer service.

Called me near the completion time to indicate that additional parts were needed but they could get them overnight and get my car out as soon as they arrived.
