spent our whole day visiting different dealers looking for an SUV with third row seats. Bob Allen’s was on our list but we left the lot after 5 minutes. We were turned away and not even offered any assistance when we asked what they had available. We were told not to bother and better off with a van (we did not want a van at all) I was disappointed because I’ve heard good things about Bob Allen’s. In the end we found a great Rogue from Nissan.

I recently purchased a car (2011 Jetta), when I got the car both side mirrors didn’t work at all and neither did the trunk button. I was told that this would be fixed free of charge and when I had to bring my car in they would have a car for me to take home and use until mine was fixed. They said once the part came in for the mirrors that they would call me so we could make arrangement to drop off my car. After 6 weeks of waiting for the call, I decided to call and see what the hold-up was. Vince the sales men I had been dealing with the entire time when I asked if the part was in said “I thought you had already been in and had it fixed” well how the hell would I know to come in if YOU never called me to tell me the part was in like you said you would do, I live 45 minutes away I’m not wasting my gas to get there without knowing for sure, after spending $13,000.00 on a car and having to fill the tank myself after purchasing it. I also had a few questions for him when I called about the part and he didn’t have the time of day to help me or answer my questions and just sent my call directly to service to make my appointment. I wanted to confirm that he would have a car for me while mine was being worked on but didn’t give me a chance to even get the words in. I thought this was very rude and had my boyfriend (Dave) call back to ask and Vince said “I wish I had of known sooner, this is last minute, I don’t know if I have a car.” Well you promised me WEEKS ago not to worry about this and that I’d have a car. After a while he called Dave back and said that he had a car but it wasn’t pretty. So I get there got the keys for the car, go out to it, it wasn’t just not pretty it was scrap metal. I’ve never seen a car so dirty from the inside out but it was only for one day so I just didn’t bother with fighting it. I get into it start the car, instantly the gas light is on, so I go back in frustrated to no end having getting another car with NO gas in it from them. So they give me 20$ gift card and I leave put gas in it, then the shifter was barley working when I was in drive it said I was in neutral. I get to the station and put the 20$ in the car. I get back in and put it in reverse and the car is in neutral and just revs. After playing with that I finally started moving and went back to Bob Allen’s and say that this car isn’t safe, I bought a new reliable car to feel safe in there is no way I’m driving on the highway home and back again in this car that looks like its falling apart and I can barely get it into gear and it was an automatic?. So the lady proceeds to tell me that this is the only car with a plate on it, and I said that wasn’t my problem I need a car that I feel safe in at least, I don’t care if its dirty really but I at least have to feel safe. Then tells me that if she gives me one with a dealer plate on it I have to say I’m test driving it if I get pulled over. Not my problem just give me a car that works and has gas in it. So after checking cars, I finally get one that has gas and doesn’t look like it’s going to fall apart. This lady rolled her eyes at me when I mentioned that the first car didn’t have gas and again when I said I wouldn’t drive it without it actually being safe. Come to find out that the mirrors didn’t need a part and was fixable by taking the doors apart and re-connecting them same with the trunk button. This could have been dealt with before I even go the car. This place deals with expensive purchases there should be better customer service, I worked in customer service for 10 years ,managed and supervised multiple stores customer service is something I know very well first hand, and this place is absolutely horrible. They just want your money and be rid of you. So go anywhere else to purchase a car just don’t go to Bob Allen’s.

These Folks are the best - I drive my vehicles all over the province so I rack up a lot of Kilometers and sometimes need major auto work - In the past they have replaced an engine and transmission on my last car and recently the replaced a clutch in my current vehicle - The Service experience was outstanding, the price was more than reasonable and my clutch drives better than ever. Would highly recommend this business.

Bought a 2009 chev cube van.was inspected by garage in westville.i check with the garage n they said they never done it.now well close in repairs $4000 never should have been inspected the way it was.thinking they just through a inspected from there shop on it.not impressed.would highly not recommended buying there.crooks.
