I had to buy a car a few months ago during the shortage we experience due to the pandemic. I met Nick Davis and he set me up with a beautiful manual car. I was hesitant as I don't know to drive manual. Nick went above and beyond and took me out for a driving lesson to help me feel more comfortable. As I was confident I could learn manual driving I bought the car. Nick and everyone at the dealership were polite and happy, it was a great experience despite the anxiousness I felt due to the lack of availability, and the pandemic. Chris Hogan, Terry Mark & Pat Laton were fantastic to work with on the purchase of my 2021 Grand Cherokee. I had contacted the other local Jeep Dealership where I had purchased my 2015 Cherokee and had all my service completed. It took the salesman two full days to return my inquiry and after another two days, I received an email end of day, asking how many km's were on my current Cherokee.....which they knew as, did I say, they had all the service records. After not hearing anything for another two days, I sent an email to Peterborough Chrysler. Chris called me back within minutes and two hours later, after a quick shower and visit to the dealership, we had agreed on a trade-in value and purchase price and within another hour Chris phoned me to confirm they had located the vehicle I wanted. The free oil changes are great and service is exceptional, but will never buy another dodge ram truck 1500 in my life. The old 1993 and before would last forever and were reliable, I owned a 2015 and it was a lemon so at my expence traded it in thinking it was just bad luck bought a 2016 and it was better but not what they used to be. So my next truck will be a Toyota Tundra a little more money but a friend of mine owns one and it is a beauty and no problems with it.

Well, today I said goodbye to our 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and hello to our new 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Back in September, we stopped in to Peterborough Chrysler to take a look at the new Jeeps and to research the 2019 models. Scott Loughran greeted us as soon as we made our way over to the models on display. When I showed Scott my 2007 he laughed and said that he'd never seen a 2007 before. He then let us park our vehicle next to a new model and proceeded to walk us through all of the changes Jeep has implemented over the past 12 years. Keep in mind that we were on a "fact-finding" mission. Well, needless to say, we felt so comfortable with Scott that we negotiated a deal that very day. We spent some time with Paul Grant, their Business Manager and Paul walked us through every aspect of the sale. We left feeling excited and confident in our purchase. Fast-forward two months and we came back to pick up our new Firecracker Red Jeep! Once again Paul walked us through finalizing the purchase, understanding the rust guarantee, insurance, licensing procedures and of course Chrysler Assist. Paul was exceptionally thorough and made sure we understood everything regarding our new purchase. After finalizing the details, Scott Loughran gave us an in-depth tutorial on our new Jeep. Keep in mind that one or two things had changed in 12 years! Scott was very patient and very thorough. We feel very comfortable with our purchase! This is our 5th Jeep purchase and our experience with Peterborough Chrysler was the best we've ever had. I feel confident in knowing that I can pick up the phone or drop into the dealership if I have more questions - and I will! Thank you Scott and Paul! All or most of my experience at this dealership is with the service department as of yet. So the rating is primarily for them and not the sales department. Ron, the Service Manager runs a tight crew and always knows what needs be done and when. He is a true friend when you need advice or suggestions on the servicing or maintenance of your vehicle. His front desk associates Ruth and Jessica have been with them for quite a while and know most customers on a first name basis too. Cheryl who is the customer shuttle driver is always there to give you a complimentary ride if required. A big shout out to the mechanics and technicians behind the scenes, who are doing a fantastic job! A lot of the credit goes to you guys. My 2014 Dodge Caravan with 130K, has never had a single service issue as of date. Keep up the good work....and soon when I get my truck I shall be able to review the sales team as well.

Absolutely the worst experience I have had with purchasing a new vehicle. I ordered a new 2015 Jeep with my personal preferences on options. I was promised the best service department as service is the number one item on my list when choosing to buy a vehicle. I received the Jeep and noticed two days later that my heated had not come with it. I called the dealer and was asked to bring the Jeep in a few days later to have it installed. The item was installed however what I did not realize until I pulled out the Jeep manual is that they installed an aftermarket product. I contacted the dealer and was told that the Jeep they had brought in from some other dealership which matched my needs very closely did not have the heated seats, so they installed them. After much going back and forth I was promised a letter with the manager's signature confirming both that they had installed an aftermarket product and that they would provide the same coverage as if it was factory ordered. To date, the letter has not materialized. In October, I attended the dealership to purchase snow tires and was told that they had a special set of 5 tires and rims at an installed price of $1239. Great, I booked the vehicle in for the installation and had the tires installed. A few weeks later I happen to walk by the front of the vehicle and noticed something was not right. At closer inspection I noted that the dealer had installed a Wrangler St (all season radial) on the driver side front and a snow on the passenger side front. Furious I called the dealer again and was asked to bring the Jeep in so they could see it. The Service manager looked at it and said, well, all they did was put the radial in the front instead of the snow. Really, what kind of response is that. Firstly I bought a set of 5 tires not 4 tires and whatever the dealer may have had in the back room which they needed to dispose of, secondly they did not tell me that it was four snows and a radial (which I would have NEVER purchased) and thirdly, discounting the fact that a radial and a snow was installed by a so called professional which governs the steering of my vehicle and basically put me at risk is more than reason enough for anyone considering a purchase of a vehicle from this dealer, needs to really exhaust all other options, including other vehicles before allowing this conscientious dealership with the opportunity to sell you a product you did not order.

My experience at this dealership was not pleasant and I did not end up purchasing a vehicle from them. I found the salesman to be rude during the test drive and evasive when it came down to talking numbers about a used vehicle. When asked about trading in my current vehicle, I was told it was basically worthless and to not expect much for a trade in value. My car is not a luxury model, but it is a 2010 and has very low kms, so it would be worth something. I also inquired about purchasing a new vehicle. The salesman did not seem interested in matching me to a vehicle that had the features I wanted, but only in moving his current inventory. I would not recommend this dealership if you are interested in customer service or in being treated with respect.

Sent my brother in to grab a part I'd already ordered and had set aside over the phone. They gave him the completely wrong part that was meant for someone else. I call them, they tell me to bring those parts back and they've got the right ones waiting for me, and they'll give me a deal, I show up, no deal! He accidently mentioned their cost on the parts ($10.29 x 4) but asked that I pay $18.32 each, so I spent an extra hour and 20 minutes driving to fix THEIR mistake and was lied to about any type of deal to make it up to me. Enjoy my $32 profit, it'll be the last you get from me.

I recently purchased a 2019 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk edition from Peterborough Chrysler and I have to say, I’ve never had a better experience in a car dealership. I had some pretty extenuating circumstances (previous vehicle written off, time constraints, living in a different city 3 hours away) and they were nothing but accommodating, efficient and understanding. I delt with the sales guy Terry Mark. Not only did he listen to exactly what I wanted in a vehicle, he never pushed and he hooked me up with the best car I’ve ever had. He put me into something that is going to withstand the conditions I drive daily, make me comfortable and still decently fuel efficient for a 4x4 vehicle. I wanted to share how impressed I was with this dealership. We brought our 2015 Chrysler 200 to the dealership on Lansdowne st for a simple recall on a bolt on the seatbelt. We also needed a censor in our rear tire for tire pressure, expensive little part, but necessary if you want the light to shut off. They could of charged us an hour labor to swap out the part, so I was expecting a bill of over $200. They only charged us a half hour labor, my bill was $136. This is the first time in my 30 plus years of driving that I've gotten to the shop to pick up my car and paid over $100 less than I expected. I won't deal with any other shop for now on. I don't usually write reviews either, but I was impressed, that's for sure. Thanks guys, you made my day.

This review is more for their service department. Took the vehicle in to verify that everything was okay, but the one thing that stood out was our issue with our stereo - which we asked even the day we took it in, is it something you can fix? They said they would look at it sure, but because it was after market - they wouldn't support it, wrote it on the receipt and charged $42.50 for it anyways. I'm sorry but name me one other business where something is not supported and they charge you for doing NOTHING! You won't find it and I swear it's unlawful. I'll never take my vehicle to be serviced there, and due to that experience when my spouse and I are ready to buy a new vehicle, we likely won't get it from there either, as that is the kind of service that leaves a sour taste in our mouth. Best part is, they sold us the vehicle with that after market deck in there by the way, and never once told it if there was an issue don't take it to us - which you think after spending $14k on it, you'd be nice enough to claim.

My first car, a 2003 Chrysler Sebring- we purchased this car in 2009 and had great luck with it. The sales team were reasonable and provided us with a very trustworthy vehicle. Terry treated us with kindness and provided with all the information needed to make the right decision. Being a long time Ram owner, I purchased my 3rd vehicle from this dealership a year ago. I immediately found an issue with it and reported it to Service Manager Ron Burns for there diagnosis. It was moved up the ladder toFCA for resolution. After a year of constant phone calls to FCA they said they could not and would not fix the problem. Very frustrating for me and the dealership who was also calling FCA. EDITED TO ADD: In response to Peterborough Chrysler's comment below, I would like to say that it was due to my conversation with John Stewart, the owner of the dealership, that I felt I had been heard and that he was in agreement with me, that the information that had been conveyed to me last Thurs. was poorly presented. Neither the manager of the dealership, nor the Service manager were competent in this regard. I still have my misgivings about this particular dealership and the ability of the staff to interact with and advise their customers in a professional and considerate manner. Recently, I visited Peterborough Chrysler for an oil change and to have an engine light checked. After waiting 2 hours, I was informed that my vehicle was in need of a new transmission lock up torque converter, along with camshafts, rokers and tappers at a cost of $3700.00. I was also told that there was really no point in doing the oil change on the vehicle, as I may decide to purchase another vehicle instead. I then took my vehicle to a second qualified mechanic without informing him of the first assessment. He however, completed the oil change and did not see any of the first mechanic’s findings. When I presented him with the information from Chrysler’s mechanic, he told me that although my vehicle was demonstrating normal wear and tear for a van of its age, he did not feel that Chrysler’s service information was accurate. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Peterborough Chrysler and am concerned that other patrons may be receiving the same misinformation.
