I recently purchased a car from John Dewar's Autosource and I have to tell you I have never had a better experience in my life! I was looking at 5 cars( all nice ones!) and finally picked a 2013 Taurus and I love it. Best car I have ever driven. I must say I was very impressed with the service and the team there were fantastic. Took no time at all to get approved ( I believe Kelly gets you approved!) and when I went to pick up my car it was shining and all ready for me! They had a "Gong" in the showroom and I got to ring this! How cool! I believe they have everyone "Gong" when they buy a new car. How inventive and fun! And I even got my picture with John himself! Nice touch! Again I will recommend this dealership to all of my colleagues, friends and family. I didn't feel like I was rushed and I felt very reassured on all aspects of my new ride! I bought a 2016 Mini Cooper S at John Dewars a year and a half ago; since then we had a baby and although I was still in love with my car, I really needed a larger vehicle as I underestimated the size of a car seat. I was able to get into a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe without feeling like I was burying myself in endless and larger car payments. The staff there are amazing, they kept me on track with what I truly wanted and made sure that I didn’t settle. I drove out of that lot today a very happy customer, and our baby girl has lots of room to grow. The next person to buy that Mini Cooper will love it as much as I do, I am sure.

We purchased a 2012 Nissan Titan from John Dewar's. The vehicle had just arrived on the lot when we saw it and had not been looked at or inspected by the dealership. As we were from outside of Peterborough, Ed allowed us to test drive it. We ended up buying the vehicle. They asked for a week to go through it and do what they had to do to certify the vehicle. When we picked it up, the vehicle looked like it was new. It was unbelievably clean and they took the time to walk me through what they did to the truck. A few days after getting it home, there was a small fluid leak that we observed in the driveway. I called Ed and the next day they had someone pick it up for repair. A few days later it was delivered to our home and has been a gem of a vehicle ever since. What was most surprising and refreshing is that a few weeks after we had the vehicle repaired, Ed called me to make sure everything was OK with the vehicle. Roughly a month later, he sent me an email asking if everything was still good with the vehicle. This level of service and follow up is unheard of today and worth writing about. I don't do reviews but felt compelled to do so in this case. Great bunch of people who stand behind what they sell. Thanks. Dan

Third time in the last 7 years I’ve inquired about trading in a vehicle here. Test drives went well and I was definitely interested in a sale..I was promised a call with the appraisal of my trade in every single time and NO ONE calls me. The sales people know very limited about the vehicles they’re trying to sell. I won’t be going back I can tell you that much.. I shouldn’t have to call multiple times, track down the sales associate I was dealing with and get told “okay i’ll look into it and call you back” or no answer at all.

They were good at selling me a car that was supposedly in good shape. I don't drive very much and was sick and couldn't drive for almost a year. My mom took sick and i wanted to go to see her. My car had been making a noise when i applied the brakes. Mechanic told me by wheel bearing and control arms were shot and all my tires where feathered. I went back thinking that John Dewar would help and they wiped their hands of me and said my car had 0 coverage. I only put 25,000 km on it and it still was under 90 km showing. So if you want a good used car sales man go to John DeWar if you want a good used car GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Highly recommend. So much selection a car/truck/SUV for anyone. I have been looking to update my car for a long time. Stopped into few other dealerships in the area and way too much pressure. No pressure here. Bottom line is they want you to be happy. Friendly staff from the receptionist up front who remembered my name to Don (salesman) and Adam Sweeney. Love purchasing gentley used as well as great pricing. No surprises with extra charges on final invoice either!
