My experience with him from the time I called him till the very end of the transaction was a total breeze. I have dealt with a lot of used car dealers and going into it, I was a bit skeptical. But everything showed me otherwise about this dealership. Special thanks to Larisa and Lindsay from the finance center. They explained every question I had and made it a much more easier process than I hoped it was going to be. Also a few days after I bought the Escalade, Lindsay called to check up and see how everything was so far. I had a one issue and she worked quickly to resolve it. Absolutely outstanding and unparalleled customer service provided to me by Alex Zimmerman when I almost broke down in Arnprior and needed emergency assistance. I received a message on my dash stating there was a problem with my DEF and the engine was going to shut down (it did not specify what the problem was, and alluded to it being an issue with the actual tank it's self)- I panicked knowing I needed to drive to Petawawa for a meeting and return to Ottawa in the same day. Alex immediately helped me without an appointment, was compassionate to my time concerns, spoke to the diesel specialist (whom I believe was on his lunch break) to find a solution, personally filled the DEF tank for me, taught me how to do so safely, and took the extra step to ensure I was safe before completing my trip and returning to Ottawa, by asking me to check-in with him when the signal went off, as he told me he would worry otherwise. He was polite, knowledgeable, compassionate, and efficient; which resulted in the utmost professionalism that has been unparalleled in my history with other service advisers in this industry. I was in recently to have an oil change on my 2014 GMC Sierra All-Terrain and during that service, I thought I should test drive a 2017 Chevy Cruze, just to see how comfortable it was and how good it was on fuel. I immediately found Chris Coady and he went above and beyond to help me out and at no time did he try to push me towards anything. I liked the car right away and made sure to pick up my wife to see what her opinion was of the Cruze. She liked it very much and that made my decision pretty easy, I decided right on the spot that I would trade my 2014 Sierra for that 2017 Cruze. In fact, I ended up receiving more value for my truck on the trade than what I thought it was even worth. Chris explained everything very clearly and was very understanding of everything that my wife and I had to say. Both he and I are small town boys and I found him to be very kind and easy to get along with. I was never pressured into the deal at all. Chris is a true gentleman and a scholar. To make a long story short, I am going to miss having my truck, but I am going to be very happy now that I am spending less on fuel and it will be far easier for my wife and I now that we are expecting our first child at the end of September. This is far from the first vehicle I will purchase from Reid Brothers and Chris Coady and you can be sure that I will buy another GM truck from Chis in the future! They took two hours to put my winter tires on because they forgot to take my tires out of storage ahead of time for my SCHEDULED appointment. After leaving, my car overheated, because they performed an inspection and FORGOT TO PUT THE CAP back on the container for the coolant.

I have been a long-time GM customer (dating back to 1990 when I got my first (used) car). I have also been a long-time customer of another GM dealer in the Ottawa area. I have known Trevor Reid and Chris Coady for several years now (from school, church, sports), and have been taking both my vehicles into Reid’s for maintenance and service. The staff has always been professional and welcoming. When my 2014 Cruze was in an accident, and written off by my insurance company, I found myself in immediate need of a replacement vehicle. I contacted both Chris and Trevor about what possibilities and options I had (new vs used). Chris immediately messaged me and set up an appointment to go over my options. When my wife and I arrived for the appointment, Chris had vehicles ready for us to test drive, and we discussed payments and financing options. Both Chis and Trevor knew I was a long-time customer of another dealer and worked very hard to get my business, and make the best deal possible for my family and me. I never felt pressured into making a purchase, nor was I pushed towards something I did not want or need. Chris was very helpful and informative, and explained everything clearly, and wanted me to have what best suited my needs and the needs of my family. It was a tough decision for me to make the switch to Reid’s, given the relationship I had with the other GM dealership. However, in the end, I felt I made the best choice in purchasing local, and I decided on getting a new 2018 Cruze. They had the vehicle I wanted, in the colour I wanted, and at the price that fit. My husband and I went to Reid's to purchase a new to him truck. We were looking at a couple online and my hubby fell in love with the 2014 extended cab they had. Yes, we walked in off the street with no appointment, so I'll give it to them there. However, when we were speaking with a sales person, Jane, she couldn't find the file for the truck, never asked either of us if we had a license and sent us out on our test drive. When we got back we went to move forward with the sale. We unfortunately had to wait until the following evening as my hubby - who didn't test drive - misplaced his license and had to get a new one. When we returned the following evening to begin the financing process, we were then dealing with Larisa. We knew we would need a co signer for my husband. Larisa was fairly rude, basically telling us that there was no way we would get financing. She was also not very polite to our co signer on the phone as well. When our co signer went in to fill out paperwork, Larisa's tune changed because of their financial situation and she became a bit more polite. Needless to say we got the financing. Then as we were preparing to pick up the truck, I dealt with all of the insurance stuff and communication back and forth with Larisa. I specifically asked her if our co signer needed to be present and what we needed to bring with us at the time of pick up. She ignored half of my questions via email and we then found out an hour before we were to pick up that our cosigner did in fact have to be there.. they live 45 minutes away.. Moving forward to today. Hubby woke up to a dead battery. Things happen, not a problem! I called Jane as she was our sales person and specifically said if we had any questions to call her. She had no clue who we were, took her over an hour to ask a simple question about battery replacement. Oh then we had to book it in for a service appointment? No. We will take our business elsewhere. Reid Brothers customer service is severely lacking and we will definitely not be returning to purchase any other vehicles from them. Nor will we be taking advantage of the $100 cash "reward" for a referral. Their lack of customer service would cause us to lose friends...

My wife and I began our search for our next vehicle several months ago. We realized that buying new would be outside of our price range, so we were looking at used vehicles. We worked with Chris Coady, telling him what we were looking for. He knew someone who owned just the right vehicle for us, and had expressed interest in trading it in. After a couple of months the gentleman was ready to trade it in, and Chris kept us informed every step of the way. My wife needed a vehicle to start work, and Chris kept the deal in motion. We were able to see the vehicle right after it was traded in and have the first chance to purchase it, which we did. We were provided a courtesy vehicle in the meantime to help us while we were without a vehicle, which was very helpful. They went on to do an amazing job cleaning it, inside and out, and it was ready for us to take home faster than we expected too. Chris did a great job answering our many questions, and kept us feeling like our deal was his top priority. As we have kids, he was even flexible enough to meet in their children’s play room so they could be happy while we reviewed our options (see photo in gallery).
