I was in the process of buying a vehicle from another dealer and felt like I was getting screwed. Came to Hinton to see if they could offer the same deal and I would cancel the deal with the other dealer. The salesmen and sales manager took the time to give me all the details and explain everything. I couldn't have asked for a more honest and friendly experience. With such a shortage of new vehicles currently, to have Carson spend 3 hours with us searching dealer inventory across the province to locate exactly what we were looking, and then arrange to get the truck for us, was astonishing....and incredibly appreciated. We were also really appreciative of the fair trade in value offered and the no pressure sales. We wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Hinton again.

Recently, my Jeep Grand Cherokee developed a significant brake issue and unfortunately, it was in the middle of the provincial lockdown. Finding a service centre that would take the vehicle in a timely manner was near impossible, that is until I drove into the Hinton lot. I explained the issue (ceased calliper) and despite not having any available time slots, Katelyn went above and beyond to fit me in that afternoon. She was a pure delight to deal with! I had to leave the vehicle overnight so she arranged a rental car (thanks Bonnie, the major rental companies could learn a lot from your efficiency!). The next morning she called to tell me the car was ready. Everything was perfect - their professionalism, friendliness, the service work, the price (final price matched the estimate) and their adherence to covid protocols. Thanks again Katelyn for your amazing efforts!!

Did service on A/C. Fixed one problem, created another. Didn't even notice till we told them. Would cost us another 2 hours labour plus cost of part. Same problem with another service call on brakes. Mushy brakes seemed to indicate needing a new caliper. Caliper changed, still have the problem. Again they did no check to make sure it was resolved. When we took it back, they said it was now the other caliper and gave us NO credit to see what the issue was. They could have done SOMETHING to keep the bill down. AND they were supposed to look at the rack that they previously said need $1000.00 repair. They were to check and advise how soon we needed to have the work done. NOTHING. Stay away from this dealer. Only wants to rack up service charges, not to mention they gave over a two week lead time for most device calls. Not worth the effort.

The sales staff are excellent.. super helpful & genuine nice people. The service department however did not make a great first impression...My partner drove straight from work in the pouring rain to get an oil change that he had called in advance for (the guy told him to come by for 5 pm and he would get him in) and upon arriving 5 minutes late was (very rudely) refused service.

The service department are always fishing for things to be done to make money. They indicate that work needs to be done, that doesn't need to be and misses items that need to be serviced. We took the 2013 Grand Caravan in to have the winter tires taken off and the summer ones put on. They did this but indicated that a front caliper needed to be replaced. Then they did 'Brake maintenance' to the tune of $200, then they did a brake fluid flush - (never heard of this one!) for another $150.00. They missed the fact that the rotors needed to be done!! We will NEVER deal with them again.

Bought my truck here, get all my maintenance and work done here. Can't express enough how happy I am with the service I get from sales and parts department. Had work done recently as my truck would not start, they informed me that the truck would need a new module, the part would run up to $250 plus labour and tax. (683.78$) they (sorry forget his name, great guy in service department) called me back to inform me that they found what might be the issue and would not need to swap out the mod, witch would save me the 250$ and cut the price in half. They did in fact fix it without the part and in the end only paid 323.20$ for the work! They have my full trust as they are very knowledgeable, experienced trustworthy mechanics. Will not be going to any other garage!!!

Had a wonderful experience with Hinton today. Travelling from Ottawa back home to Owen Sound in our Dodge Ram. My tire sensors had all come on in Ottawa. I did stop at dealership in Ottawa to have them look at my problem but was told to make an appointment. The young fellow( sorry did not get your name) he pulled up the door had me drive in and he checked all pressures blew each tire up and sent me on my way to OS. Many thanks for the home town service in Perth certainly was appreciated!!????????
