Let's be honest, buying a vehicle can be a pain in the butt. When our truck was in an accident less than 2 weeks before having to move across the country, we dreaded having this one more thing to worry about. Anthony was absolutely wonderful in getting us into a stunning pre-owned truck, and so fast considering our tight timeline to work with. Being a long time Ford customer, i have learned somethings. You either love Fords or you don't. We are like Leafs fans and no matter how our team is doing, we always cheer for our team. I cheer for team Ford. The New Carleton Ford is just that; NEW. It's not March Ford, with its rude staff, overpriced services and lack of personal attention. It's NEW. New management, new owners and new ideas. I typically drive 1000km a week for work in very rural areas of the county and I need a reliable vehicle. I also know so little about vehicles that I depend heavily on the experts. The service department at Carleton Ford is great. Judy leads an amazing team of friendly staff who know their stuff. Their prices are fair( trust me I am cheap and have searched high and low for the best deals) but its more then that. They are welcoming and kind and quite frankly give a damn about how safe and efficient your car is running. I know we all had bad experiences with March Ford, but try Carleton Ford. Same building but a whole new perspective on business.

I had a major electrical problem with my Ford Focus which I have a maintenance plan on with another dealer in Lindsay. On my 4 hour drive home from Ottawa my screen went black and I stopped in for some quick advice from this dealer. Unfortunately I lost his card but the man in charge of service along with Bart I believe were just wonderful. They did a simple reset and got me going and did not ask for a penny even though they could have charged me for their time. If I was in Ottawa I would buy a vehicle off them without hesitation. I recently had a very good experience with Carleton Ford service. I initially went in for regular servicing and to have my snow tires put on but they found a few unexpected issues with my vehicle that needed to be addressed. On short notice they were able to get the parts they needed and complete all the work the same day. Fortunately, they had a loaner car available at the time and everything worked out perfectly. I find the customer service lacking, the representative that answer's the phone to book appointments comes off rude and cold. Other than that we have not had any issues with the work done on our vehicle, also we love that they have a loner car when our car is in the shop.

Brought my Focus in for tire change over and regular maintenance. I love that the service advisors are women. It certainly makes me feel more comfortable. I appreciated that they looked at my previous history and adjusted my charges as a result. Lisa made sure to keep my brake pads to show me and explain to me how they had eroded. They also gave me a loaner without me having to request it. I truly appreciate their great service and attention to detail! I had a great experience purchasing my new Ford Focus from Pierre! I’m very pleased to write this review. I just purchased a brand new 2018 F150 from Carleton Ford and I have to say I really had a great experience. First of all, they are a smaller dealership, so you are treated as a valued customer not as just a number (I felt this way with some other dealers) Consequently, they gave me a great deal on my trade and on the new truck. They outfitted my new truck with “cool” level kit, tires, exhaust. I had some concerns, they addressed them all without a hassle or BS. Honestly, they keep doing things for me I felt bad they they are putting so much money and efforts on top of an amazing deal. I live in Stittsville, so it’s not too far for me to drive, but even if I was living in Orleans, it would be well worth the time to come to these guys. I highly, highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Ford.

My son bought his first car here, about 2.5 years ago, and was completely taken advantage of by the salesperson. An extended warranty was added to the price of the vehicle for $4000, without his knowledge. The salesperson only told him the monthly amount of the loan, and he felt it fit in his budget so he never questioned it. He has no paperwork for the extended warranty, nor any knowledge of how to access it. All work on the car came out of his pocket.

Very friendly staff, punctual and not pushy to buy. They gave me a fair price for my trade and the new vehicle I purchased. The only complaints I have are they told me the small paint chips and windshield chip would be repaired when I went to pick up and they were not fixed. And the staff member who dealt with the final financing needed reminding that I had put a $500 deposit down or he would have charged me that much extra. Overall an ok experience with this dealership.

Hours aren’t too favourable, doesn’t offer the same points program as other ford dealerships so if you get servicing done you don’t get points towards future service so less desirable location for services. Staff here is awesome. Friendly and helpful.

I brought my husbands 2010 Ford F-150 in the service department. When I called to book the vehicle in, as well as when the vehicle was dropped off, we had made it very clear that we wanted the rear differential to be replaced as there was a horrible noise coming from the rear and my mechanics at my dealership advised me that it was the rear diff. Upon your mechanics diagnosing the truck, I received a phone call to advise me that it was not in fact the rear differential making the sound, it was the 4x4 hub actuators. Next, I was told that in order to replace those, I needed two upper control arms, ball joints, and tie rod ends. Due to your service staff not giving me agreeable part quotes, I purchased the parts on my own and brought them into the shop. When I picked up the vehicle on September 6th, I took it for a drive down the road. To my surprise, the vehicle was making the same sound that was supposed to be repaired. We immediately brought it back to the dealership where I was advised to "drive the vehicle and the sound will go away." After reluctantly leaving with the truck, we took the advice that was given and drove the vehicle throughout the weekend. As I predicted, the sound did not go away. When I called and spoke to Lisa on the Monday/Tuesday regarding the situation, she had advised me that Rebecca was dealing with my file and no longer worked there so she was not privy to the repair order. After looking it over, she advised me that I had originally brought the vehicle in for SAFETY RELATED REPAIRS, and that is what was fixed on the truck. I immediately advised her that we had NEVER asked for that and ONLY wanted the loud noise the truck was making to be fixed. She told me she would call me back. A while later, she called back and advised me that it would actually be the bearings inside of the rear differential that needed to be replaced (which I find absolutely ridiculous as I had originally brought the truck in for the rear diff.)I made it very clear to Lisa that this cost would NOT be paid by myself and I would need a vehicle for the day when they complete proper repairs. She took my number and advised I would receive a call back. She then called me back and told me they would repair the truck for somewhere between $600-700 instead of the retail price of $1100. At this point, I had asked to speak to the service manager as I did not want to take my anger out on Lisa. She advised I would get a call from your service manager, Jason. I HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER TWO WEEKS TO RECEIVE A CALL BACK FROM JASON. I have called the dealership NUMEROUS times asking for an update. Still nothing. I have now sent an email to Kevin, the general manager and am awaiting a response. When I receive a response, hopefully my review will change for the better but as of now I felt a buyer beware for the service department had to be shared.

We had a very good experience buying our new car at March Ford. We chose March Ford as our other car is serviced there and we were really happy with the treatment we received. We also wanted to support a local business; an important thing to us. Dan was really helpful, pointing out deals etc. and the rest of the team were friendly and welcoming. We found the time on the finance aspect a bit long but again really friendly and with a flexible approach to our needs. We had to bring our grandson with us to pick up the car and thank goodness for Duffy and his mints!! Had a bad experience with this dealership... Contacted dealership to book a test drive and the customer care team got back to me very quickly to book an appointment which was great. However, after driving all the way out to the dealership, they didn't have the car on the lot and did not know where it was. The sales manager ensure he would locate the vehicle and give me a call the next morning, promising to get the car and bring it to me to test drive. I never received a call from the sales manager and when I contacted the dealership again in regards to the vehicle, also received no response. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Do not book a test drive when you know you don't have the vehicle and have the curtesy to contact your customers back. Not happy with my experience and will not be shopping at this dealership again. Update: Manager reached out to me to try and reconcile the bad experience, and attempted to find another vehicle since the one I was looking at sold. Unable to find one at their dealership, I am looking elsewhere

Huge Thank You to Lisa, Jason, Bruce and technician who worked on my vehicle. I drive an older 2011 Ford Crown Vic that developed an axle seal leak on drivers side. Lisa provided me with an estimate, Jason ordered seal and Bruce coordinated work in the shop as I was waiting for my vehicle. After approximately an hour, I was informed that most likely I will need a new ABS sensor as an existing sensor is seized and difficult to remove and technician is doing his best. I was provided with a service loaner -- a brand new Ford Ecosport and was told that most likely my vehicle would be completed late afternoon. To my surprise I received a text from Lisa before lunch saying that my vehicle is completed and existing ABS sensor was saved. I cannot thank enough Carleton Place Ford Service Team and would not hesitate to recommend Carleton Place Ford to any Ford owner !!!

Purchasing a used vehicle from Carleton Place ford has proven to be a fantastic experience through and through. They stand by their product, are committed to excellence, and exude integrity. I spent months shopping for the right truck for our family. Dealing with their sales team was easy. They listened, respected my budget, and acknowledged what kind of specs were required. They are knowledgeable and use an honest approach which was refreshing. I was given a very fair price for my vehicle and they followed through correcting any issues that were identified prior to purchasing. Unfortunately I did have serious issues with the truck post purchase that ultimately Ford should have taken care of under warranty (but opted not to). Thankfully, Carleton Place Ford stepped up and fixed the mechanical issues which would have otherwise turned out to be catastrophic. They went above and beyond to make sure my family still had a truck that was reliable and worthy of the Ford name. They succeeded where Ford Motor Company failed. Not many dealerships would have followed through the way they did. I greatly recommend shopping and purchasing from Carleton Place Ford if you're in the market for a new or used vehicle. Their service department is ridiculous! I brought my Ford Taurus in earlier this winter to diagnose a problem of a smell of gear oil in the cabin! It took them close to 2 full hours to come back and tell me I had a leak from my PTO (and I was also told they had topped up the oil level). I literally got billed a couple hundred bucks for them to tell me I have a leak! I then had an appointment at Tim's Service Center (who I might add is one of the best and most honest mechanics you will find, who always keeps your best interests financially and safety in mind) about a week later for an oil change...both him and I looked under the vehicle and in less than 10 minutes looked at each other and said here's the leak! He then changed my oil (with synthetic) and I left only having to pay $89! Oh and by the way, he said there was absolutely zero evidence that Ford had topped up my oil level in the PTO. Not even oil residue was visible at the fill plug... Let alone the fill plug seemed to have been in for a long time as it was hard to remove (further evidence ford never topped up the oil level). Honestly? 200 dollars to tell me I have a leak from Ford? Ridiculous! Dealers have not earned my trust, and this just further confirms the reasoning for my lack of trust for dealers even more!

Beyond Expectations ! On Sept. 9/21, after experiencing a road noise in my F-150, I reached out to Carleton Place Ford. My urgency was safety, so rather than book an appointment, I just showed up at the service desk. Lisa Kenny, Assistant Service Manager, greeted me and wasn’t the least concerned about no appointment. My recent service work at Carleton Place Ford was very pleasant due to the friendly and competent service staff who kept me informed of the progress of the work and presented appropriate and well considered options in a timely manner. Was able to fit us in & we were from out of town. Happily switched the tires with a quick turn around. Went back to switch over winter tires, friendly & prompt service. Came here with a 2016 mustang to get a roush performance upgrade installed. Not only was the price the best anywhere around the city, but the service was amazing. The exhaust got installed with no problems, in a timely manner and sounds amazing! I unfortunately purchased the vehicle from another dealership but they have gained my trust as a customer and from now on I will be taking my vehicle here for maintenance and service. Amazing staff and service! The staff here are extremely kind, respectful and courteous, and the office itself was very well kept and clean. My family and I felt very welcomed and respected the moment we walked through the doors. Huge shoutout to Eli and Ran for helping me find my very first car! Eli was fantastic in helping me find the car I inquired about over the phone, and that same afternoon I went there to see and test drive it. He is very humble and personable, and was very knowledgeable and patient in answering any questions I had about the car. Best part was he was not pushy to the point of making me uncomfortable. Ran was also fantastic in explaining to me all the various payment options, explained every offer and policy in great detail and happily answered any questions I may have had or was not clear about. I felt very pleased throughout my first car shopping experience and would happily recommend Eli and Ran to anyone looking to purchase their next vehicle.

Would not recommend, poor customer service and communication. I made an appointment to see two vehicles on Friday for the next day. Upon arrival they had neither car. The sales person Dave was aloof and had no knowledge or interest in the appointment. I was then called by the dealership saying I had missed my appointment. I was then called again and told both cars would be available the next day for viewing followed by a text mentioning one but not the other, I asked about the other and they said it was unavailable. I will purchase from another Ford dealership but strongly discourage visiting this one.

Revised my review from a 3 down to a 1. Will not be visiting this dealership again. 5 months later, still have a buzzing noise in the dash which was supposed to be fixed before SUV was delivered in original purchase. Not complete. Being repaired by another dealership under warranty. Original contract was to include 2x free oil changes. I mentioned this BEFORE booking the today's oil change appointment. They scheduled the appointment but waited until appointment time AFTER I DROVE FROM OTTAWA to tell me that "there's no record of your 2x free oil changes" (the first of which they already applied, so there was only 1 remaining). Would have been nice to know that this company was not going to honor their word BEFORE I drove 100km and wasted half of my day. Original review I wish 3.5 stars was an option, or a 10 star rating system was in place so I could give a 7 to 7.5. Overall, the transaction was "good". A few eyebrow raising items - the vehicle I purchased had 8000km+ more than advertised on their main site and Auto Trader - a few miscommunications that I'll attribute to being mistaken for a browser instead of a buyer (or just plain bad luck), adding a few days and some frustration to the transaction. For anyone looking to trade your car in, make sure to go to Auto Trader and calculate the trade-in value ahead of time. As well, call other dealerships to find what they sold comparable vehicles for so that you have all your data available before walking in. If you are looking at a specific vehicle, See if they have it listed on Auto Trader as well (mine was $800 cheaper on AT than their main web site) Walking in with data, you can probably get negotiations down to just a few minutes. (also check their web site as there's an ad in the used vehicle area for free lifetime oil changes) They were very honest in pointing out any deficiencies in the new vehicle (in my case scratches and a missing spare key/fob). The "new" (to me - it's a 2017) vehicle was insanely clean and outfitted with the accessories I requested (I've had family members have nightmare scenarios with accessories but mine were 100% perfect). The mechanic was attentive to addressing the issues I listed before completing the deal. He missed one but it's minor and he assured me it's going to be addressed in the coming days - otherwise, top notch. They did wind up including a free replacement key to ensure I had 2 - unexpected but appreciated - thank you. Overall I'm very happy that I was able to find the exact vehicle I was looking for at fair market value without having to go far. It feels solid and reliable, and again, I cannot fathom how clean it was. Despite the few issues at the beginning of the process I would have no problem with considering them again in the future.

I purchased my 2020 Transit Connect in March 2021 including a trailer hitch to be mounted when Ford delivered it to Carleton Place Ford. 5 months later still no deliver of the hitch from Ford, so Dave Pilon sales man at Carleton Place Ford ordered an after market hitch and had it installed just in time for when I needed to use it in the middle of August 2021.
