A decent parts inventory, well stocked store and large assortment of helmets. The parts clerk was very helpful, and the younger gentleman who was around the shop seemed cheerful. However, as affirmed by other reviews, the owner is extremely unpleasant. No smiles. No "hello". Just a rude "don't stand there. You're behind the counter", to someone who was looking at oils on a retail rack (not behind the counter). This was both our first and last visit.

I went to Rosseau for an ATV Demo day (I was part of the demo staff) 1st thing that hit was: FAMILLY BUSINESS! They're a tight pack and share the same values. As I been there for a complete week end, I saw a bunch of good lads very knowledgeable and very welcoming with all the guest/customers. They fix one of my ATV in a snap just by looking at me juggling with the speed selector! 5 minutes later it was better than new! Very helping people! I highly recommend that place!

I have taken my Sleds here several times and always get the best service and an honest evaluation of the issue. Ski-Doo dealer wanted to replace (BRP Rebuilt) my engine, however Bill recommended a simple fix of the Crank Bearing Seal as it had not been compromised. I ended up selling the sled late in the season and the next owner ran it another 10,000 hard km without any issue. Bill was correct and saved my $$$ (Thousands).

When you find someone you can trust to only do the work you need, at a price fair to you and them, do it promptly and right the first time you stick with them. Bill and his family have consistently provided great service on our sleds. We aren't in the area but it's well worth the drive for us. I also like to support those who support snowmobilers. Bill and his family are all volunteers with the local snowmobile club.

Not the most pleasant people to deal with. Young lad behind the desk wasn't the easiest person to work with to get some parts and came across very arrogant. Price seems to be comparable or more than anywhere else with the comparable non-oem products. I would drive a bit further to get a bit better customer service though. I would not return again personally, and after seeing many of the responses the owner has for other reviews, i would advise to avoid this place if you want any customer service.

I brought my ATV in due to overheating and thought I had blown a gasket. They serviced and inspected the machine and were able to determine that it was not the gasket and they saved me a bundle. Service cost was very reasonable. I will be using RRP moving forward.

I purchased a brand new outboard from a big box store that carries the same brands. After arriving at the lake I found out it wouldn’t run. Desperate, I called Bill looking to buy another motor to salvage my vacation. Bill said bring it in and he’d get it going. (Costing him a motor sale) Bill and his staff helped me out and got me on the lake! I’ll be making the drive to Rosseau Road for all future repairs and purchases!

I went to rosseau Road Powersports to get a tube put in my tire of my ATV. I had a sizable hole from a stick I'd run over. Bill said there was a problem because the whole was too big for the tube and I'll probably get a flat. Then he went ahead and put it on anyway so I figured thought it would be okay. Well the tire lasted about an hour of driving on fairly easy driving conditions. No rough trail at all. The worst part is that he charged me $140 to put a tube in my tire. I figured about 60 to 80 tops. If you told me before he started the work that it was going to be that much I would never have agreed. I feel like because I'm a tourist he ripped me off. Would not recommend this place Update I bought a new tire from Royal Distributing for $250 .When changing the tire over I found out that when Rosseau Road Power Sports install the new tube they pinched the tube between the tire and the rim and this is why it went flat. So to fix this flat it cost me over $400 including installation of the new tire. Incompetent and a rip-off outfit

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! The owner is completely unreasonable, and I've never had someone treat a customer so rude before. Long story short: I booked a snowmobile rental for myself and my girlfriend on Friday the 26th for Monday the 29th. I've been snowmobiling for about 8 years now, having my own 2 sleds and snowmobiling fairly regularly up until a few years ago when I sold my sled, so I'm fairly experienced, but my girlfriend has never been. There was supposed to be a good amount of snow the day before (the 28th) so the trails should have been decent. At the time of the booking I asked over the phone if the weather/trails are not good if we would be able to cancel, and they said yes not a problem. So I went ahead and booked the rental, which cost $226 from 9am-5pm. The day comes and we arrive on time, get everything sorted out and we start to head out at about 9am. Since the area did not get any snow, and lots of rain the day before the trails were in bad shape. The owner recommended a trail that would be the best to go on, so we took his advice and headed out to that trail. We got about 10 minutes from the rental place, where there was such a lack of snow that we had to stop the sled 5 different times for it to cool down. I was hoping when we got to the main trail that he recommended that there would be enough snow for it to cool down, but there wasn't. The trail was literally an ice rink. Not even a few flurries on the trail for the sled to grip to both cool and control. Every turn that we hit the sled would slide, so we had to watch our speed. Watching our speed made the sled heat up faster, so it was a cycle. Now I understand the owner of this company cannot control the weather. And he did try and help us out. He sent his son out to meet us (about 5 minutes away) to install an ice scraper that should cool the sled down. The scraper did help a little bit, but the sled still got hot twice more, and we had to stop another 2 times. When we were stopped we were passed by a couple snowmobiles coming from the opposite direction. We asked if the trails were any better ahead and they said no, they are just as icy and very dangerous to be on. They were both heading back home because it was too icy. They recommended that we not continue on the trails. So I called the owner once again, and by this time it's 11:30am. 2.5 hours have gone by already and were bairly a half hour from the rental place. We said we were coming back because the trails were icy and the sled keeps overheating. He said he would send out a fan cooled sled that won't overheat, but we said we were coming back because the different sled would not change the dangerous conditions. Once we got back the owners attitude completely changed. I told him that I understand he cannot control the weather, and that I would have to eat some of the cost, but he was so rude. He said there was nothing more he could do and he would not give us our money back. We explained that we've wasted almost half of our day and barely got anywhere, that we were recommended to not continue by other snowmobilers and it's just not safe or enjoyable. It was my girlfriends first time and she was not comfortable driving on the icy trails. I even offered to eat half of the cost for the time his "mechanic" (his son) came out to meet us to put the scrapers on (even tho he offered that service). But he said he should have charged us $170 for that. He said he was as accommodating as he could be, but the fact is that the trails were not SAFE. We were recommended by people snowmobiling that day to not continue. The owner said if he was not working he would be out today, but I can guarantee he would not be. Even his son when he came out to meet us said the conditions are bad and he wouldn't want to be out today. Nevermind my girlfriend who has never been on a sled before wouldn't want to be. The owner was so rude and should have allowed us to return the sled for at least a part of our money back. $226 gone for 3 hours, only getting 20 minutes worth of riding in. DO NOT GO HERE!

FTR, We road our sleds the weekend of Feb 27 and the conditions were quite good, putting on over 300 KM's. Was one of the best weekends to ride considering the season.

So I've been asked to leave a comment, yes, ex-employee, I quit 2.5 days in with respect for the owners even after working in filth (store, bathroom and lunch room) was not okay with me, being given a huge list of things to organize while taking care of the store, answer the phone and be expected to finish this stuff no one has done in years. While also BABYSITTING their youngest while the mother sat upstairs and being asked to teach the child how to type on the computer while doing these other things. Having the owner tell me my boyfriend is an "idiot" who THEY wanted to work in the shop even knowing boats we're his specialty not ATVs and the owner ordering the wrong plow that was never actually going to fit. Neither of us could communicate with him as he just sat on his phone all day talking. Its very funny to see that I couldn't provide "basic" skills when I was told I wasn't allowed to quit, it's sad you feel you must lie. Then trying to hold our paychecks and put it off for as long as possible. Sorry it never worked out, we always gave respect when we shouldn't have. You have done nothing but slander as you are clearly embarrassed you can't keep employees. A review has nothing to do with my current job. Reviews are a common thing of the world and why customer service is so important. This was MY experience with Rosseau Road.
