After driving nothing but Lexus and Toyota products for 25 years, we have upgraded to the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe High Country. It has been a quarter century since I drove a GM product. I have to say that the new product I have seen over the past couple of years caught my attention. I called two dealers in Barrie. Both cases they didn't have anything to show me and after two weeks without even a call back I started looking further. That is when we came across Parry Sound Chevrolet. Firstly, they have a great website where we actually did the entire deal online. Couple of phone calls to cover some small details and it was done. Traded in our Tundra and our 4Runner. Kyle was awesome to work with. Something to be said for doing business in a small town. He went over the top with the delivery and the vehicle was perfect. Brandy the business manager handled everything perfectly with the lease and the added coverage. She was so professional and again we did everything with her over the phone and online. Parry Sound is over an hour from Barrie. I wouldn't think twice about using them again. Can't say enough about how great it was to deal with this dealer.

I had an issue with a Chevy Cruze while it was driving from Niagara Falls to Edmonton. A check engine light came on and the vehicle had no power. The vehicle was brought to Bayview Chev with no appointment on a Friday afternoon on a long weekend, of all times for it to happen. Rob in the service department greatly helped me out, everything was looked after promptly and the vehicle was back on the road with issues resolved shortly there after. Very happy with how the situation was handled, they went out of their way to look after the vehicle.

Just bought a new Blazer at Parry Sound Chevrolet from Kyle Forder. He was very easy to deal with when we saw that they had the vehicle we were looking for. They don't pre sell their vehicles before they go on their website so you don't have to waste time calling to see if it's still available. We're from out of town and we were very limited on times that we could pick up the Blazer but Kyle was willing to meet up with us on a Sunday to pick up our new vehicle. Unfortunately when we left I noticed the blazer had a vibration on the highway. Kyle advised us on possible problems and followed up the following weeks since we had the vehicle looked at by our local dealership. The Blazer has since been fixed (4 new tires through warranty believe it or not) and we couldn't be happier. Thank you for the great service Kyle!

I stopped in as i was interested in purchasing a new Silverado. As i walked through the front door, the place looked deserted. I heard a noise in the back and a woman looked surprised to see me. I asked if they were open and she flatly said no and then asked me how i got in with an accusatory tone. The hours said they were open on saturday but i didnt see the poorly placed holiday hours sign (as the woman who was there rudely pointed out). I would have likely seen it if they had actually locked their front doors. Good thing there are a number of other dealerships

Call for quotes on service and they can never give you a ball park idea. They want $109 to hook up a code reader when my gmc dealership doesn't charge at all! Absolutely ridiculous. Watch out for the extra add ons, even trying to charge just to reset the tire pressure sensors(which is free at my dealership as well). I try to support local, but thats just unreasonable, especially in this time!
