I don't normally write reviews but I feel a need to contribute my experience to the world; (gonna be a long read but if you're serious about reviews this is my experience and may be the push in the right direction you need to find that right dealership) I wasn't in the biggest rush to purchase a vehicle as I already had a fully capable one at the time, but as I was checking their clean well laid out lot I noticed a like new looking BMW X1 and went to inspect further. While doing so I was approached by Mirik (a salesman from global) nice friendly well knowledged guy who i befriended almost instantly.. he threw me the keys and off I went on a NO pressure test drive (I find that when the salesman goes with they just throw facts about the car and won't shut up and you can't enjoy the ride and feel of the vehicle) i came back with some issues to which he responded(paraphrase)-"anything you feel might be worry some we will fix prior to pickup" I thought great it's a used car so there is some wear and tear but they will bring it up to like new condition before key in hand. We worked out some numbers that were in the range to what I was looking for with little to no real negotiation which was nice(they're well priced on the lot) so went to the next step which is the sign and seal. That's with Michell(one of the owners) we get talking as if we've known each other for years.... so ontop of the all ready great price I got and was signing for, he through in winter tires(on OEM rims!) Free of charge! Because he wants his customers to be safe while enjoying his vehicles! Comes day of pick up. The minor adjustments to the car are all taken care of PLUS as they were doing the final inspection on the BMW they noticed the breaks we're on their last legs and swapped them out for BRAND NEW( calipers, roaters, pads) all New! With the summer tires and rims in the car and the winter tires now installed. I shook their hands and the hand of their shop Forman Tony (also part owner) for noticing and going the extra mile with the X1 (which I didn't pay an arm and a leg for) I will and would recommend this dealership for anyone looking to buy a vehicle. I was skeptical at first (because a used dealer) but they put me at ease from start to finish and I now have a beautiful BMW X1 that I get compliments on.. I will be going back! We bought our BMW here a while ago, certified by them as not having had an accident ever. Turns out later that the car had major repaintings being done (hood, front, right side - obviously a mayor accident) which is obvious for the trained eye (slightly different shade of color) but not the unsuspicious trusting customer. Would never buy there again! Buyers beware!

They have a really large inventory, keep their cars clean and in good shape (which was a big difference from some other used dealerships I visited recently), and put very little pressure on the customers. Amazing Experience and Excellent Service! Just purchased my first used 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan at the Global, and I love it! I was on the market to replace my car. I didn’t want to buy a new car, but I had no idea what used car I want that will fit my requirements and my budget. Perry, my insurance agent, referred me to Michael saying that ‘he will help you to find the right car for the right price’ - and he was right! Michael was a m a z i n g! He was very patient, very helpful, and a great listener. I went back to the Global several times and test drove so many different vehicles to make sure I find the right car that suits my lifestyle. Michael was so calm and professional; with no sale pressure, he would just bring me the keys and say: ‘try this one’ or ‘this would be a great car for you’. Michael was not pushy at all - unlike very unpleasant experience I had at the Volkswagen dealer in Kanata. I went to compare the newer 2021 and 2019 models and their offers to the one I got at the Global! When I left I thought: Wow, what a horrible experience compare to the one at the Global! This was my first visit to this dealer and after a brief chat and 2 test drives, the manager was pushing me to make a decision before closing, which was in 8 minutes!!! Michael, on the other hand, made it so easy for me. Once I settled on a model, he found the last roof rack available in Ottawa (one of my main requirements), bought and install it for me, in addition to a great deal I got. :) I truly enjoyed my experience at the Global Auto Sales. I highly recommend their business and share their contacts with all my friends. They have a great inventory of used luxury cars (despite of the shortage due to the COVID-19)! The purchase of an expensive and rare luxury car is a tedious process but you are in good hands. Global has a lot of experience and is definately up to the task ! I am extremely picky when it comes to the finest details about a car transaction. I ask a lot of question, ask for pictures, detailed info, etc. Emilio was not only excellent in communicating rapidly all the information about the car. He also listened carefully to all my instructions concerning the pick-up day which went smoothly as expected. Before buying, he made sure I was happy with absolutely ALL aspects of the car. He delivered on all his promises, including a new set of tires and a new battery in the sale. He is a true man of his word which is a very rare find in the used car business nowadays. Great place to buy slightly used higher end vehicles. The sales process was very low pressure and honest and the price was the best I saw for the vehicle I purchased. Michel didn't play games and gave a good deal almost right away. My car was also ready to go 2 days after purchase which in my experience is super fast! I have been in contact with Tony Maatouk, the owner for days asking for information on Tesla model 3, and whether it came included with FSD, and explaining FSD is a different product than autopilot. I was told yes, many times by him, and his staff. I went and checked out the car after Tony quit replying. I also then inquired if it came with FSD option. Was told yes again. No one there knew the difference between options on that car. No one educated themselves. Had I bought that car under the assumption it had FSD, the liability wouldn’t have been on me. And then there is the response from the owner shown below. What a gem. I would never buy from them, I’d rather walk!

I found the car I wanted by searching Car Guru. When I drove to the dealership the car was there clean and appealing. I met Joe Nahra who took me to the car and patiently showed me its features. The trade-in was done fairly, quickly and efficiently. Joe did all the paper work and the next day the car was on my name and ready to be driven away. Would like to share my experience purchasing a vehicle from Global Auto Sales. I first found the vehicle through a online posting. I sent an inquiry on a Sunday and surprisingly received a response from Warren almost immediately. Warren answered all my questions by phone, sent pictures and provided the documentation required. I purchased the vehicle without seeing it in person (out of province). Warren was very accommodating with everything and even helped with the shipping quotations. Vehicle arrived without any issues and exactly as described. I would not hesitate to purchase a vehicle from Global Auto Sales and Warren.

The very best car shopping experience I have ever had. From the first call I made to ask if a particular vehicle was still available and was answered in a very polite, inviting and professional manner. Wait..... Am I calling a used car dealership here?? When I arrived I was greeted by Joe (phone dude) with a big smile and hand shake! I have purchased my 3 daughters vehicles from Global and my wife and I have had great experiences and received great value on all 4 purchases we made at Global over the past 9 years. We just recently purchased a Audi Q5 from Global and again I was treated with the utmost of respect and treated like a king. I would recommend Global Auto sales to anyone you wants none of that manager/ salesman dance in obtaining your price on your next vehicle. At Global you deal directly with the owners on all there sales not some rookie sales person who is it in for the most commission they can make at your expense and very little knowledge of the vehicles. Been there done that too many times. Global have the best Imports and North American used vehicles in the Ottawa market bar none. If they don't have what you want Tony or Michael the owners will get it for you. Its no muss or fuss dealing directly at Global with the 2 brothers who own Global in the store at all times. They also stand behind there vehicles with a great service dept. which I highly recommend as well again with very fair pricing on any types of repairs not like those big dealership hourly rates. Being in business myself I really appreciate business owners that still know how to deliver good customer service which in todays market is beginning to be none existent. I came to Global Auto Sales one evening with three friends in early 2018 to see what the dealership had advertised on its website as a 2016 Infiniti Q50 Red Sport. I had made it very clear to Joe, the dealership's representative who eventually sold me the car, that I was interested in the RED SPORT advertised on the company website, both orally in front of said friends, as well as in writing by email. In addition, after having test driven the car once, one of my friends and I stepped into his office where we were handed a fact sheet identifying it as a RED SPORT with 400hp. Unfortunately for me, the car wasn't a red sport and I ended up being sold a premium model with 300hp two weeks later instead. I realized what had happened a little over a day after having taken the car home from the dealership for the first time. I tried my best to resolve the problem amicably. I even sent the owner, his brother and Joe, a nice email saying that I understood mistakes happened, that they were not fatal, but that given the circumstances, I could not hold on to this car and therefore needed them to take it back. To no avail. Ensued a nightmarish two months during which I was subjected to repeated, vicious and outlandish abuse from the dealer for wanting to rescind the contract. The whole sordid affair, including the wild and baseless accusations and my responses to them, is documented on the BBB's website. Fortunately for me, I had a few things working in my favor: 1) I DOCUMENT everything, and so found myself in a position to prove every single point I made, unlike the dealer who never offered any actual evidence for any of the wild claims he made. 2) OMVIC, the regulator, sided with me. My case was assigned to an incredible person called Shelley Shah, who not only endured a lot of nastiness from the dealer on my behalf, but fought tooth and nail over a period of MONTHS to get him to rescind the contract. I was eventually contacted by an attorney who told me he had worked with Global Auto Sales in the past and that he had been asked by the owner to help us come to an arrangement, which we did when the owner agreed to rescind the contract. The kicker? This attorney is a criminal attorney... Suffice it to say that I have never had such an ugly customer experience in my life and that one can never be too careful when buying a used car.

WOW THEY DO EXIST" - hyab060 After a long search we fell upon Global Auto on bank street in Ottawa. We looked we talked zero pressure which was nice. Joe is an amazing person no bs which is how I like it. Our son just had a horrible crash and was in need of a good vehicle, we looked and searched and talked with our Insurance and finally Joe put our son in a nice Mercedes c300, very low mileage and a nice price that was fair, Thanks Joe we appreciate. Now the best part me being me I didnt feel safe cause my wifes car had high mileage and starting to break hear and there, and the return or sale would have been horrible so Joe and Michel worked hard on the numbers and a week later he put us in a super nice BMW X4 with M package Michel I know you sharpened the pen alot thanks. People just to let you know sales are sales but Global is beyond sales they take care of you and really do call you back after the sale. My common law bought a BMW 335 I from Global Auto Sales, after the first week of owning it, check engine light came on, but then back off. the warrantee was only 30 days, they said he wouldn't be able to bring it into the shop until the light came back on, of course the check engine light didn't come back on until after the 30 days, it was around 40 days, and we had a 900$ mechanic bill. I simply called the dealership to ask what the warrantee is exactly and what should be covered since the car has been in the shop and has been a headache since the first week. a manager named JIM then told me he didn't have the sale receipt he wouldn't look up the warrantee for me and ALSO SPOKE OVER ME SEVERAL TIMES. he was very rude, horrible customer service and i WOULDN'T recommend anyone ever going there to buy a vehicle. not worth it. shop anywhere else especially if you're going to buy a high end vehicle, buy it from the actually dealership. not a huge price difference especially after you have to send it there for repairs a week after leaving Global anyways. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Oh, I also forgot, when asking about the warrantee because my common laws bill was almost 1,000$ and now a week later back in the shop, I was told by Jim that I am unreasonable and I wasn't even the one who bought it. Jim , I might not have purchased it, But now I am sharing one car, once again with my common law because of your dealership and selling a car in the condition it was in. thanks for your bad customer service Jim

The sales-side of this business is good, and is the only reason I give any stars. They were friendly and willing to help. Did feel slightly pressured upon purchase, but what else would you expect from used car salesmen. On the other hand, the service side of this business I would not recommend to anyone I know. Disappointed at the lack of customer appreciation and willingness to fix issues caused by them in the first place. Technicians seem negligent and difficult to communicate with in English.

I applied for financing online and had someone get back to me but were unable to reach me so they left me a voicemail. I called back literally 5 min later tried to get a hold of the person and left them a voicemail, as well i let there receptionist know I called. That was 3 weeks ago and still I haven't heard anything pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Not only I applied for financing there was a hit on my credit for nothing. I know they have good reviews but come on guys you have to followup with a potential buyer. I told people that were interested in buying from there my experience they ended up looking elsewhere. I feel disrespected where now it's 3 weeks and counting and still no reply just a hard hit on my credit which affected me when I was applying elsewhere.

I had a really great experience with these guys last year, no pressure, test drive's were on time and they let us go out and open up the cars. my one recommendation for new buyers is if they include new winter tires (came installed which was terrific in november) on your car, make sure they are the right size, my lexus is should have 225r and they gave us the 235r which are only suitable for the ES model so double check when you pick up the car.

They try and use high pressure sales tactics. Upon walking into the showroom they tried pulling the classic sleazy sales tactic of "we have several other people coming to see this vehicle today". That immediately turned me off. I walked away from dealing with them and bought a vehicle elsewhere. Funny enough, they still had the same car for sale on their lot months later. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from them.

I recently purchased a Subaru SUV from this dealership and the experience was awesome. They have a no-nonsense no wheel-and-deal approach to selling vehicles which I like. I was originally planning on buying an MLK but Warren talked me into buying a less expensive car that fits ALL my needs. First time I've been to a dealership and a salesman talks me into spending less, that's when you know they have your best interest in mind. I told the salesman Warren that I wanted to match my current payment on the vehicle I had. Warren went over and beyond to arrive at the same price I was paying for my old vehicle INCLUDING a great extended warranty with more KMs that I will need and no time limit. TL;DR If you have the money to purchase the vehicle you want, go this dealership. No-nonsense, no BS and great service! They have a vast selection and they only carry quality vehicles.
