Even though these are used vehicles, they have always been top quality and in my personal experience, have never had repairs needed beyond normal wear and tear items.

This dealership is amazing. On my vehicle hunt, I visited a few other dealerships where I didnt feel listened to and the sale felt rushed and pushy. At Davey Auto Sales, they sat me down and found out what was important to me before showing me anything. This past weekend we came in to pick our our new purchase 2018 Ram. Davey made this very easy and all the staff was EXTREMELY welcoming from my initial contact with Kris to doing most of my purchase with Shelley. I drove 500kms from Montreal and do not regret any part of doing so. I got more for my trade and the vehicle I purchased even though it was used was a clean and prepped as well as any brand new car I have ever purchased. They accorded all my requests and made this the best car buying experience I have ever had in my 50 years on Earth. The prices are very fair and everyone I’ve dealt with in the process of buying the vehicle have been very pleasant to work with. I decided not to get the warranty because after reading the whole thing carefully I decided it was very likely I wouldn’t need it and if I had any problems it would cost less than what the warranty costs. I think it may be useful if you are buying a car with high mileage or an older car. I saved myself about $2000 including the interest and tax I would’ve had to pay on it. My advice would be to ask for a copy of the warranty, carefully read it over and decide whether or not you think your car will have any of those problems within 2 years. And if so, would it cost less than the warranty costs or more. They were very understanding and didn’t try to push the warranty on me which I appreciated. They also took the time to go through all the forms with me, and while I read every page of each form they waited patiently and answered any questions I had about any part which gave me a very thorough understanding of what I was signing before I signed it. There was also a carfax ready for me to go over. Everything was how they said it was. Before picking up the car they did a fresh oil change, put brand new tires on the car, brand new brakes, a full tank of gas and probably some other stuff that I don’t remember. They gave me 2 keys so I would always have a spare. They went above and beyond and it really showed. They really do care about making their customers happy. My sister said she will be coming to Davey Auto Sales when she’s ready to purchase her first car, and she’s really sceptical of car dealerships so that definitely says something. Overall an excellent experience.

Sold me a vehicle with part of the tail light assembly not working. Turns out a month later it was water inside the tail light. Now the entire light as well as my license plate lights do not work. After some research it seems this issue is quite expensive to fix. One star because they claimed to inspect the vehicle and obviosly the mechanic didnt do so properly. Either that or they figured it was too expensive to deal with and wanted to defer the cost to me. Both are red flags. Be very careful with this dealer.

I recently purchased a minivan for my family here. The staff were friendly and courteous. Kris was great, he was very much to the point and didn't bother me with all the normal sales tactics that you typically get from dealerships. We are happy with the purchase and will likely return when it comes time for another purchase. The van I purchased had been a company vehicle prior, and you could faintly see where the stickers were on the rear window. I mentioned it and asked if they could try cleaning it off. Well, turns out that the tint had faded and it would be permanent. I was ok with that, but without prompting from my end, Kris had a new rear window installed. That experience alone is enough that I'll be back in the future.

After calling kris and explaining the terrible experience I had at a Jeep dealership in Ajax, he informed me that they had one two door Jeep on the lot. Explained to me the process and told me to come take a look at it. After seeing it and realizing it was everything I was looking for. Kris helped me fill out all the proper paperwork. And got to work on my deal. After. Week with fighting for the best deal. Loads of texts, emails and calls to pretty much everyone in the office. By the weeks end I was in my Jeep. Glen davey personally helped and was extremely helpful and secured me the best deal he could get me with my awful credit. I can’t say enough good things about this dealership and the lengths they will go to get you in the vehicle you want. If you have bad credit and need help go in and see these guys !!!! I don’t think I have ever dealt with any sales rep. Like glen before. I financed a 2019 Mazda 3 gx. Unfortunately I had to return the vehicle to the dealership (Davey auto sales) and ultimately canceled the financing papers. because the vehicle was not equipped with A/C option. But the add and coverage (protection plan) indicates otherwise.but it was an honest mistake and I understand. Things can happen without any bad intentions. So overall I give Glen a 5 star rating for his salesmanship. And I recommend the dealership and to see Glen him self when you go visit the dealership.
