Guys were friendly, got a good price all-in. Unfortunately car was a nest of problems, required $2K repairs out the door, hub and bearings, then found out the car was overfilled with oil, because they wanted to hide it had an oil consumption problem, which is a $5K repair. Was also very poorly maintained once you get under the hood. Never got back to me when I asked them about the first issue, it would have never gotten safety if their mechanic wasn't a friend of theirs. Shady dealership, you get what you pay for, don't recommend without a thorough inspection of the car before you buy.

Mike was great to deal with and our vehicle has been good. It was very hard to find one with low mileage for the year, and in good shape. Even in the current crazy used car market and knowing what he had, the buying process was hassle free, transparent (extensive clean Carfax provided), and we both agreed on a fair price. We did have 2 small issues with the vehicle after purchase and Mike dealt with them with no argument. This was after he followed up to make sure everything was ok 2 weeks after we picked up the vehicle, I had not contacted him to resolve the small issues. I don't expect perfection with 11 year old used vehicles and was appreciative when he had no issue being fair after the sale. If it's worth anything, I would by a vehicle again from Mike at Auto Plus Car Sales.

I was there for a brother in law and he bought 2011 Golf GTI. Joe helped us and we are happy with our purchase. Staffs are frendly as well. There are many places who will charge $700 certification fee(which is illegal) and/or make you deposite before test drive(if you turn down with insufficient reason, you lose your deposit) This place has no hidden fees, no sweet talks, no pressure to buy. Of course it’s your descision and your responsibility to have a good look at the car before your purchase. If you don’t know much about cars, bring licensed mechanic along with you. If I need to buy car in the future, I would like to do business with Autoplus again.

I made an appointment and person on the phone said the vehicle would sanitized and ready to go. It wasn't ready. Salesperson had to boost the battery to start it. I was then told I was not allowed to test drive the vehicle unless I was going to buy it that day because it would need to be sanitized again if I didn't buy. It was a bizarre experience.

This year 2020 has been a year of notable lows for many. which has made the few pleasant experiences really stand out. Our main family vehicle had a sudden cascading failure which would have been a lot of work to fix so we started looking for a newer used vehicle. We had looked all over southern Ontario, spoke to different dealers and drove several test vehicles. Through out our experience Auto Plus stood head and shoulders above the rest. They are highly particular in their selection of vehicles, and our salesperson, Mike was very professional and courteous . Test vehicles where sanitised before and after testing. A covid 19 protocol was in place and respected. Mike was also very accommodating with timing windows, considering we drove with our young kids 2 hrs to get to his location each time we wanted to come and see the vehicle we where considering. Buying a used car is typically a stressful process, but after all the leg work we had already put in with other dealers it was easy to see the difference with Auto Plus. Reinforcing good advice and standing by their work and safety. Overall it was an A plus experience. Thanks again Mike.

Very sharp business practice. Before coming to this dealer, spend some time to read my lesson as a buyer. Their carfax report and mechanic are not reliable, so are the highly rated reviews. I paid $13,500 HST included for my car just a month ago. It started having issues the next day. Issues after issues right after the purchase. Two licensed mechanics suggested this car should not have passed the certified test. The licensed mechanics suggested me to go back to this dealer and the mechanic that issued the certificate. It never came to my attention that I even had to doubt about an issued certificate of safety in Canada. I now retrieve the Safety Standards Certificate to find out about the mechanic. It appears from the Safety Standards Certificate that Mohamad El-Bauri from Friendly Mechanic certified this car. I further googled "Friendly Mechanic" for more information. It appears that others have the same issue. One lay person can easily connect between Auto Plus Car Sales and Friendly Mechanic in terms of their business practice. I have been leasing new car every 3 years. This is the first time I bought a used car and unfortunately, I chose Auto Plus Car Sales based on the "highly rated reviews". Now the highly rated reviews should be in question for future buyers. I placed my trust without verifying the provided information, until two different licensed mechanics suggested same about the issued Safety Standards Certificate and the dealer. Auto Plus Car Sales should be aware that this kind of sharp business practice will not help their business last long, especially they are in the business of carrying the lives of others. The mechanics felt sorry for me for being sold this lemon. It has been only a month from its purchase. Don’t be another victim.

Really poor service and worse experience with this dealership. Contacted them about a car I was interested in. Drove over 90 minutes to get to Oshawa and the dealership. The salesman, Mike, had a stained shirt on and took a few minutes to print off the carfax report for the car. (Having set up the appt over a day and ahalf earlier, I presumed that would’ve already been ready.) then he took us out to the car. Went for a test drive and discovered many electronics were broken or not operating (even though it was advertised with fullly loaded electronic package and tires were all 4, low on air, car struggled to turn over). He only allowed 10 minutes for the test drive and when we returned we went in to his office to discuss the issues. At that time, he informed us he knew that the navigation/radio system screen was broken, and that there were other defects but was “not going to fix them bc it would be too expensive.” While we waited to see if he was willing to negotiate, he stared at his computer screen, and ignored us. After a few minutes of silence we left. I will never go back to that dealership again and I completely would never refer someone else to purchase a vehicle there.

Joe and Mina were very informative and transparent. They answered all my questions and showed me everything about the car. We test drove it on the highway and I got to see how the car performed. Joe was very reasonable upon negotiating the price and we came to a deal that worked for both of us. They worked quickly to get the car safetied and ready for the road. The only thing they need to improve on is doing their due diligence, making sure the car was completely and entirely ready prior to pick up would have been the only thing I wanted more. I walked away with two keys, one of which did not have a working battery, and my girlfriend and I went different ways upon picking up the vehicle. When she got to her location she could not start the car again because the remote key’s battery was dead. When I went to meet her with the working key, I also came to realize one of the break lights was out. Joe claimed the light must have went out between the time the mechanic safetied the car and the time we picked up the car.. (maybe 2 days). It is possible. Overall I’m happy with the purchase, the car is running smoothly and drives very nicely, handles turning and corners well and stops on a dime. The interior is very nice and the heat works well. I would recommend doing business with auto plus car sales. Just make sure you ask questions and check out the car entirely at every stage of the transaction; from test drive to pick up.

I bought an Acura RDX in October 2019. Mike cleared the OBD codes in the car, so when I scanned it wouldn't show. A day after getting the car the codes P420 and P299 appeared in the car computer. I brought the car back to him and his mechanic to fix it, which I paid half of the work to fix both codes, and unfortunately, the P420 code remained. I called him many times and emailed him, and nothing happened. 6 months with the car (drove 8500km after his mechanic worked on), the spring broke and the P0299 code is back. Needless to say, they sold me a lemon and they don't stand behind their product.

Was looking for a first car that would fit my budget. I purchased the Infiniti G35X from Mina. The fact that the car passed safety surprised me as the exhaust fell apart due to rust. Was told the check engine light was a minor issue but when diagnosed by a mechanic I was told the wheel bearings are bad and the transmission needed a replacement. The exhaust, bearings, and transmission is going to cost me $5-6000 which is way out of my budget. It’s been 2 and a half months and less than 2000km it shouldn’t be filled with problems.

That being said I spent good amount of time looking for the right vehicle and Mike and Mina had as good a price as any private seller if not better. Bought a 2012 Sierra of mike from auto plus, when I went to test drive the truck the battery was dead, he charged it for me so I could drive it. When I purchased the truck he said he would have a new battery installed and filled it up with gas, the truck had a really slow crank and said it was the battery. When I went to pick it up, it was running, no new battery was installed and he only had a quarter tank of gas in it, they lied. I had to ask for a new battery band they gave me one to install myself. Couple weeks later the truck would not start, I called and Mike said he would call his machanic, then just ignored the rest of my calls. This truck was $22,000. This is not how you treat people mike, you lied to me. Iv had to pay for the tow truck myself to take it to machanics., Hopefully the worrenty covers it, waiting to find out. I would not recommend anyone doing to this dealership.

We went here and checked out a 2011 Hyundai Tucson. The car was good for the age. We went into the office and I left a deposit and after looking at the Carfax it had two recalls. He said he would do them. We went back a week later to pick up the car, the recalls were not done and I said I would have to take care of them myself. He did knock the licensing fee off for me having to do this. After driving the car for four days we noticed a humming sound coming from the backend and the car jumped as it went around the corners. Since I had it booked in the Hyundai for the recalls I also had them check my concerns. They found it needed a lower ball joint, The right rear wheel bearing and the Cupler assembly for the all-wheel-drive system, they asked how this car passed safety. That is another thing the safety was dated 2 1/2 weeks before I bought the car. We took the car back he said he would fix things. A week later we go back and pick it up and start to drive home. He did not fix everything, The all wheel drive mechanism was still the same jumping and skipping. It cost me approximately $2000 to get everything fixed. We have now gone to 0MVIC and filed a complaint, And will also be going to the UCDA.I definitely would not recommend a Steeler to buy a car if you do need a car from him take it to your own mechanic

EDIT: I initially gave them 5 stars. However, it turns out CAR IS BURNING OIL excessively. Mike had driven it and never reported it.. Buyers be aware. They are very sneaky. Be sure to take the car to your mechanic, get a full detailed history from the dealership and not through them or car fax. Especially if you are purchasing a vehicle over 10K. I put in motion an inquiry against their business in MTO. Good Luck, and avoid them like a plague.
