I truly want to thank Rafeel and Mr Nasir for being so kind, respectful and caring to our need. We actually bought the vehicle without seeing it in person or test drive it prior. Just speaking to both of them by phone we were convinced and trust their words that the vehicle was in very good condition. This is a weird review. Here are the nice things, not nice things, and unknown things about shopping at Rahman Motors: Nice things: - friendly and approachable - patiently answers questions and doesn't put pressure to close the deal - delivered my vehicle out of town after purchase Not nice things (mostly about the vehicle, 2009 VW Tiguan): - learned it takes premium gas right after signing papers - the car turned out to be absolutely horrible, even after assurance that this was a safe and reliable vehicle - in the span of 2 months, required $2500 + tax in repairs (oil pan, water pump, engine belt, thermostat housing, radiator fan). Broke down in unsafe locations. - traded it in 5 months after purchase and lost 65% of my investment Unknown things. - how Rahman Motors would have helped me if I had asked The warranty for a Rahman Motors vehicle is 30 days. These issues came up around the 3 month mark and I didn't bother contacting Rahman because I assumed they would say "It's out of warranty", or "It was working fine when we sold it". I left a 1-star review after this whole experience and was contacted because I never reached out when I was having these issues. Here is the thing: I moved 500km away. My warranty was over. I really didn't think it was an option to contact Rahman Motors. So here is what I know: Rahman Motors is pleasant to work with when buying a vehicle. I ended up with a horrible machine and dealt with it myself (as I thought that was my only option). Rahman Motors may or may not have helped me if I had reached out when I was deep in vehicle troubles.

Just bought my first car at Rahman motors on the 7th March 2020. The one most important thing I liked about the team is their transparency. I always had a reluctance in dealing with used car purchases and that too with an auto consultant, these guys simply changed my perception on it. The purchase process was too smooth and clear without facing any road block neither in the time line nor in the commitment from Mr.Rafeel. He was assisting me in all my required documentation and certification as I was new to the country though it was not at all their business scope. So far so good... Bought a 2009 Murano from here after reading the good reviews. It's 100% a headache looking for a preowned car. Dealerships are often shady, misleading, and have many bad reviews. The fact that they only had two detailed bad reviews was what I was banking on when driving all the way out to Mississauga from Hamilton. Have very little time having two kids so I had to make the trip count. Even though the car had quite a few scratches, the murano drives really well. The breaks are really smooth. I really like that they have a warranty for 30 days incase anything goes wrong and I feel if something did they'd go above and beyond to try and make it right. Their disposition and mannerisms lead me to this belief as well as the fact that they drove all the way from Mississauga to Hamilton to drop off my murano well after hours. I bought the vehicle on a Monday and had it by Wednesday evening. Just want to thank you for making this process as stress free as possible. Keep up the great customer service!

I put a deposit down on a vehicle they "said it was refundable" I decide to go another direction and they avoid my calls and emails then finally told me that they are not refunding my deposit at all they are nothing but thieves. I would recommend shopping else where. The reply.to there response. The refund of the deposit was not conditional of financing that was never discussed. They advertised the vehicle as certified and with a clean carfax. The vehicle was saftied minutes before my arrival. It had been in a serious accident which had been down played by rahman motors at the very last moment. They also avoid me for two not to return my deposit underhanded at best. The time they took to write the response they could have emailed money transfered me my deposit back. I believe that itself speak to Rahman motors character. Also I could smell anti freeze and the vehicle had a loud idle which did not make me feel confident in purchasing it. Also there was overspray all over the vehicle for quick touch up.

The car I got was perfect! There is a bit of rust on the exterior, but Sammy was upfront about that from the outset. He estimated it would last about 7 more years, which my family mechanic confirmed. My mechanic was actually surprised that I got a 2010 Subaru Legacy that ran very well at such a reasonable price. I had found a vehicle on their website for my wife, was great looking. I went down to look at it, all was well, they seemed nice and friendly and great people, then the lies started. There was a stain in the ceiling that he had told me his cleaners would get out, they never even tried. He told me he gave me a warranty with the vehicle, he did not tell me I personally have to call the company and activate with in 20 days therefor I now don’t have warranty, and he also told me the vehicle was very safe and fully saftied with brand new brakes all the way around. And yet this past week my wife and 2 Kids were driving and the front break seized on and started a fire. When I called to question how it is possible that it passed a safety, he screamed and yelled at me. I took to my mechanic who had said there was no way it should have ever been saftied that way and was forced to pay out of my own pocket to re safety the vehicle. Do not buy here, though everything may seem well at first, it will hurt ya later

Between Rafeel and his borther who liteally saved the day for us and took the worst car experience at Gardiner Motors(NEVER BUY FROM GRADINER MOTORS) and were able to not able make our daughters day by having them meet our budget after being ripped off next door and having Reiswan(the mechanic) who stayed late for us to make sure that we could be back on the road the next day. Indeed a very good Used Car dealership. Way better than others with attractive prices especially on the used cars. The inventory of used cars is amazing with lots to choose from. I bought a 2004 Toyota Sienna with just 126,512 kms at a very decent price. Also, Mr. Rahman was kind enough to throw away a set of very good snow tires at a cheap price. I have to give 5 stars for Customer service as Mr. Rahman's elder son helped me deliver the van at my doorstep and this was really kind gesture, which I really appreciate. No dealer would do this and this makes me feel doing business with him again. The transaction was completed swiftly and everything was comfortable. His store front is little smaller but this is compensated the with the quality of cars h keeps and the service he provides. I am more interested in the car I am buying and not the ambience (obviously I am not going for dinner ;)] All in all, a very pleasant experience and the van is running great no problems whatsoever. I previously gave this dealer a good review, not anymore. I bought a 2013 Infiniti g37x off these people. When arriving to pick up the vehicle i noticed that the tire pressure sensor was on. When asking about this Rafeel told me that the sensor was faulty which caused the light. I wasnt told this before but i thought, “whatever it wont be very expensive to repair. “ i also only received one key with the car so i had to purchase another one. A couple weeks after i started to hear a rattle in my catalytic converter. I call rafeel and he tells me to go to his mechanic to fix it at his expense. We go to the mechanic and rafeel then says that he will not pay for it because it does not fall under safety for a car. Before buying the vehicle i was told that there is a warranty on the vehicle no matter what happens to it. This business is very unprofessional and do not care about the customer whatsoever. They just care about getting money in their pocket. So much so to tell a customer that they are on their own for the repair of a vehicle that they had in their lot with the same issue! I would highly advise anyone who is looking to buy a car not to go to Rahman motors!

TL:DR 1 star. Edit-Entry 2: we bought an "as is" vehicle for my girlfriend, so some issues are to be expected. However, Refeel told us it "would be easy to safety, that it was a trade in from the Nissan dealership, and had been peeked at(and guaranteed mechanically) by nissan). He also claimed he had looked himself(admittedly he's not a mechanic) and in good condition) and it only wasn't safetied because he had too many cars, and not enough time. Once bringing it to a mechanic we were given a 3k estimate for a safety. We then went to HIS recommended mechanic for a second opinion. At that time HIS mechanic told us that he personally had already seen that exact same vehicle, and at that time recommended to Rafeel it NOT be safetied at all. He lies to make the sale. Smooth talker 0 stars. Lied to sell a bad vehicle to an innocent customer. Would not return here again. _________________________________________________________ Original Post: I contacted Rafeel via Facebook Messenger about a Nissan for my girlfriend. The price was fair and reasonable, and He was very helpful, and very quick. Once we booked a test-drive things went very smooth, we got to go on a nice long test drive to check out the vehicle. From the beginning of the test drive, to us driving off the lot with plates and ownership was about 2 and a half hours. They were very reasonable and professional. A diamond in the rough. I spent two weeks looking for the right car, but more importantly the right place to get it from. Couple year back a friend of mine recommended this place as I was looking for a uses car. Rahman Sab was really helpful and supportive, very nice person. He did me a big favour. As first I bought Nissan Sentra (not fully knowing what I need) then couple of days after that I went back requesting that I need a bigger car and there was an Altima that I did like earlier but didn't buy as was short of money. He treated me like a little brother, allowed me to return the Sentra and buy the Altima, gave discounts and also allowed me some extra time to pay the rest amount. My search for vehicle was scarey until I ended up at Rahman Motors. I was greeted by Rafeel the sales manager while I scanned the lot. He was very friendly, personable, and accommodating in my quest and even offered us a cold bottle of water. I chose a Hyundai Santa fe which was a little over my budget but he gave me a break on the price. When I picked up the vehicle it was prestine and he took care of all the small details. While I still had a warranty the vehicle had some issues pop up. I was very concerned and worried but Rafeel came through and took care of everything as per warranty. The vehicle was in need of tires and he gave me the choice of used and or split the cost on new ones. I decided to get the new tires and as promised he paid for half. Any concern I had Rafeel went above and beyond the call of duty to deliver stupendous customer service and satisfaction. I am very happy with the end results all the issues have been rectified and the Sante fe is running beautifully. *** DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!*** I purchased a 2013 Nissan Altima from this place a month ago. I have had nothing but problems with the car. Within the first 12 hours of driving the car off their lot the engine light came on.. I called the owner Nasir and his son who helped with the purchase of this car and they assisted with getting the car looked at... they had me go to a mechanic for 5 days in a row with my baby to figure out why engine light wont stay off... they kept putting a bandaid on the situation Engine light consistently still comes on .. 1 month from purchasing this car... THE CAR IS A LEMON..
