QUEBEC BUYERS BEWARE: They don't plate your car and are not registered with Revenue Quebec and the SAAQ does not take your trade in value when you register therefore costing you potentially Thousands of out of pocket expense on top of the HST they charge you, which you also have to fill out forms and send in to get refunded on. They tell you it takes 4 days when in fact it takes up to 4 months. They also lied about their "Free No Strings Attached" Las Vegas trip they offered as an incentive to purchase from them. It was not Free it in fact cost $600+ in admin fee/.taxes for only a 2 Night stay. = NOT FREE and Strings Attached. They also delay in sending payment to pay off your trade-in so you end up having to pay two car loans in one month. Not honest although they seems to be so nice at first.

Well I am impressed. I have owned many cars and dealt with many dealerships all over Canada. I had been looking for a Mini for my daughter for two months with no success. I visited Eli at Luxury Auto Imports to see a Mini and bought the car shortly after. No pressure...no sales tricks...no hidden fees....just simple and quick. I bought my daughter, who goes to university in Ottawa, a VW Jetta from Luxury Auto Imports (LAI) about 10 months ago. The buying experience from Elie and Mel was second to none - and I have bought vehicles all over the province. The vehicle has performed flawlessly and LAI made sure the car was safe for my daughter to drive not only around Ottawa but also back and for from Ottawa to Sudbury in winter. A miss for me. I called ahead to see if a car was available. They said yes, I drove 40 minutes across town to see the car. I took it for a 30 minute test drive - when I returned, I was notified that the car had actually sold a few days before. I was informed that they were expecting more cars later in the week and they would call me when they came in. No phone call ever came. I contacted them by phone and e-mail and was ignored. You lost a customer.

I have dealt with Elie for a number of years now and have always been treated fairly and honestly with NO pressure, NO intimidation. We first bought a 2006 Saturn Vue for our daughter approx 7 years ago and the car is still going strong , it has turned out to be reliable and economical exactly as Elie said it would be. The second vehicle we purchased a 2010 Audi S5. It was mint and had everything that Elie said. I ran the VIN number at Audi Canada with no issues. Do your home work on a car you would like and tell him what you are looking for, the condition and options, if Elie doesn't have it in stock or coming in, he'll do his best to find you one. We bought a 2015 Legacy from Elie. The vehicle was spotless and it has proved to be a very satisfying car. Elie made the process very simple and very fast. We appreciated that he let my wife and I go out for a test drive by ourselves. Be careful with these guys. The car they sold me was in a accident and there were no trace of it in the carfax report they gave me. I found out when trying to exchange my car. *Update (FEB 24th 2020): I just called the owner after his comments to give him details and evidence about my statements above. His answer " you should have come back to us" with the carproof. My advice is to check yourself the carproof, do not believe what they say.

I had a bad experience with this dealer. I bought a sedan car in 2016 with around 17500$. After a couple of months I wanted to upgrade for an SUV. I contacted them many times but they ignored my emails. Then I went in person a couple of times until I found the guy. He estimated the car with 10500$. The car was in the same condition even better as I did a rest proof, synthetic oil change and brand new rims. I only added 5K mileage on the car. When I asked him how come you underestimate the car that low he said that the car market crushed in the last couple of months and now he is not selling cars that much and sometimes he loses money. Honestly I was shocked by his estimate as I didn't expect to lose 7000$ in a couple of months. I was pissed off from their response and I'd never go back to this dealer nor I recommend it to anybody. What is funny is that when I bought a car the guy told me that he made a profit of 1200$ only. It means that he bought the car with 16300$ and 8months after he wanted to buy it from me with 10500$.

I bought a vehicle from here advertised as safetied. The engine light turned on as I was in the process of the purchase. I was re-assured that the vehicle engine light was on because of an 02 sensor. The Rep advised me that the instructions he received from a Mercedes dealer was as such that the engine light would shut itself off after being driven for a bit. I contacted two separate Mercedes dealers that advised me that this was inaccurate. The rep assured me that this was the guidance he received and that he had proof. The proof was never shared with me. Subsequently, The rep advised me that he would drive the car for a few days in hopes that the light would shut itself of prior to my purchase. According to him, The light shut itself off. The same day I signed for the vehicle and I’m driving home, the light comes back on. I fortunately added a clause on the bill of sale that stipulated that a successful Mercedes inspection was imperative (which was booked and completed 2 weeks later). When Mercedes inspected the vehicle they informed me that a rodent had bit all the wires therefore the car would soon run into electrical issues. The Mercedes dealership speculated that the dealers I bought the vehicle from (Luxury Auto) would likely have been aware that the engine light was not on only due to the 02 sensor, but also due to the code indicative of the electrical issues. They also advised me that Luxury auto only replaced 1/4 of the O2 sensors and it was improperly replaced using a non- Mercedes part. The rep informed me that he disagreed with the assessment from the Mercedes Dealer and asked me what I wanted to do with the news. He informed me that he couldn’t fix the issues due to the likely price and the fact that Mercedes were not willing to work on this vehicle. Luxury Auto voided the entire purchase transaction, at my request after offering to sell me another car off their Lot. I declined this suggestion as I was not pleased with the buying experience. The rep did however follow the terms of the verbal and written contracts without any issues. I will not recommend whether you should/shouldn’t buy a vehicle from this place but you can take this review and do with it what you will. *Always have your vehicle checked by the company that manufactured the car for a FULL INSPECTION to make sure your buying a proper vehicle from this lot. *

They dont pressure to sell u the car which is good. Bought a 2011BMW 328 last year october. Brakes and rotors were bad so they changed them before selling the car. After 8 months 13k the front brakes started squeeking, too much dust from front brakes, rotors were gone. Got checked from a mechanic and he said these are the lowest grade chinese pads they put on. I called them back and got the answer that they wont make money out of car if they put "good" pads. But hey if you guys told me that this is what you are getting, i would have never made the deal. And now they wont replace them since its out of warranty of 30 days.

Service: Low sales pressure environment. Salesmen where courteous and patient. They were also very quick to answer my questions before and after having signed the papers. Negotiation was quick and easy. Price: I had been looking at buying this car model for 2 years, needless to say I had done my research. Over the two years I looked at it, including in Toronto and Montreal, I never saw a better deal than this one. Quality of the car: I have had the car for 5 months and put close to 7,000 KM on it. In that time, the only service I have required has been to change the oil. To do so, I took it to the car manufacturer's dealership as it was still under warranty. The manufacturer's dealership verified that it was till under warranty, did a 200 point inspection and did not find a single issue with the car. Overall experience: great, have and will continue to recommend this dealer. Will look at what this dealer has to offer when I need to purchase my future cars before looking at other places.

Great service by Elie. Just the way I like to buy a car; no pressure whatsoever, salesperson very open to our questions and requests. Obtained a fair price for my exchange car (much better than what I was offered by 3 other garages). Unlike other dealers in the area, the cars that are for sale are offered in great condition from the start, including inside detailing, so there is no fear that the car will be delivered with unsolved esthetic issues. As well, there is no useless back and forth between the salesperson and his manager with regards to how much you'll pay for the car and how much they'll give you for your exchange; you deal with one person for all steps of the purchase and no one keeps you waiting. In the end I feel that, compared to other dealers offering similar cars for sale in Ottawa, I obtained a better deal and much better service. I highly recommend Luxury Auto Imports if you are looking for low-mileage, exotic and higher-end cars, mostly selling for over $20,000 (although at times you can find a few gems under that price). Waste of time. Set up an appointment to look at a vehicle for purchase. Drove an hour only to find the place was locked. Was assumed it would be 15 minutes, then 10 mins then 20 mins and so on. Ended up sitting in parking lot for over hour only to drive back home. After that I messaged them and they just decided not to answer. Clearly not interesting in selling vehicles. Don’t bother wasting your time here.

We test drove a vehicle liked it, we counter offered we were told they would get back to us, never did we went back to offer another price they told us they were about to call us never did. Both times so we wait to hear from them no calls i even went on the website to send an email not even a reply. We are very disappointed the car we wanted is gone. Don't know if they sold it but at least they could of called us back. Sooooo NOT impressed.????

Paid a $500 deposit on a BMW, but unfortunately wasn't able to fly to Ottawa from the maritimes to pick it up. Ultimately, they held the car for a few days and refused to refund the deposit because they "replaced the brakes"; however, this obviously needed to be done regardless and shouldn't negate a refund. Disappointed in the professionalism of this business - thankfully my local BMW dealership was able to sell me a vehicle with exceptional service. Will never deal with this company as an out-of-province customer again! Common sense and decency was trumped by the company's bottom line, which is probably representative how they treat all business matters. Car looked decent in pictures though!
