Mileage on the car I was test driving it was advertised as 121,000km. When I got in the car, the odometer was 216,000 km!! The salesman apologized however it wasn’t his fault. The car stalled at the intersection and wouldn’t start because of a dead battery from sitting... I left the salesman sitting in the passenger seat with his phone in his hand and I walked back to the dealership...not a good experience!

Wasted a couple of hours of my time going there. Imagine the typical used car salesman and now multiply that by ten. Raymond was so in my face I literally had to tell him to back off. I was looking at a Honda Civic and I do a lot of highway driving. When I asked him which way to the closest highway, he told me I wasn't allowed to take it on the highway. When he got very pushy about it, I just did a U turn and took the car back to their yard. My instincts tell me to stay far away from this lot...just negative vibes from this salesman.

I just bought a car in great condition and low mileage (like new) from Karmann fine cars, which was my first car in Canada. Honestly I was not ready to buy, I just saw the car at Autotrader app and went there to take a look at that car, at first a friendly gentleman helped me and showed me the car, I just looked at it, it was in perfect condition and another gentleman gave me more information about the car, I didn't even asked for a drive (My driver licence was not with me in that time) Actually I really liked that car, the only problem was the price and sales team told me I should speak with the owner for pricing and I spoke with Him, he kindly helped me and explained everything about the car to me and offered me a great price that I couldn't even imagine after speaking with the manager I prefer to trust and deal with Karmann Fine Cars and let them to do the process. He did the financing process for me with lowest rate and take care of everything certified the car for free and his staff did other paperwork and I just signed them with peace of mind and got my first car in Canada easily. I recently separted from my wife and I needed to get a car overnight. I was so blessed to be referred to David and Mike at Karmann fine cars I do not know how to thank them for their kindness and professionalism. I've owned or leased 14 new and used cars in my life and Karmann sold me my 15 car. My previous cars have been BMW 545, Acura MDX, Hyundai Sonata, Mini Cooper S, Toyota 4Runner, Merceedes 380SL, Acura TL, Saab 95 to name a few. As I am in the middle of settling my affairs with my wife I am cash poor and had very small budget to use for the purchase of a car. My instructions for David and Mike is that I needed a cheap but reliable car to get me to point A to B. The recommened and sold me a 2007 Cadiliac SUV that was right the max of my budget. Althought I've never owned a Cadilac in my life I've driven them quite frequently in my travells and have always been impressed with them. If you are a domestic car driver and have not been impressed GM products I must tell you that the Cadillac brand in definalty a signifant difference from the Chevs, Pontiacs and Olds. As GM's luxury brand set up compete against BMW, Mercedees, Lexus, Infinity etc they put a lot of effort, money and care. The Cadilac brand at one point in the history of automoblies was represented the pinacle of success and was I sign to the world that you've made it. I think Geroge Jefferson drove one. To this day the President of the USAs limosine is a Cadillac that follows him around the world. In any event I LOVE MY CADILLAC. David and Mike treated me with kindness and very professionally. The are certainly the most calm automobile sales people I've met in my life. The certianlyl do not fit the mould of how a used car salesman is view by the world. Thank you Karmann and more specifically David and Mike. I've vowed to buy all my cars going forward from Karmann. David the owner told me that he has access to over 500 cars at the moment and he could get me any car I wanted as long as give him some time to get it. I will never buy a new car again. I used to be banker and it just doesnt make sense to buy an asset that depreciates 25% on day one as is the case wth new cars. Only of my wealthiest friends ($25 Miilion range in net worth) has never purchased a new car in his life. As he said to me once why would I buy a new car that depreciates so signifiancly in the first few years when I can get the same car coming off lease or from a friend that buys nice new cars for 60% to 70% of the new car price in 2 to 3 years. Scammers plain and simple, sold me a used truck with all kinds of issues and lied to me about having it scanned, they scanned it and didn’t do any of the issues. I later got this information from the Mercedes dealer where they scanned it. Had to spend 12 grand 4 months after purchasing. In court proceedings right now with them to get my money back. Stay away. They ask their clients to rate them 5 stars the day of purchase... maybe for some it works out but for me it didn’t. That’s why I’m here now stating the truth, stay as far as possible.

As another post has mentioned, my brother bought a car from this place and it was a big mistake. This has literally been the worst experience for him. The owner is very very rude and unprofessional. Every time we have gone there, the owner "David" is so full of himself that he doesn't even talk to us and points to his employees without saying anything. We literally had to walk around to find someone to address our issue. There has been many problems with the car and we have taken it to these guys twice to fix, but every time they keep the car for a week at a time and don't even touch it. Not only they didnt fix the problems, they drove my brother's car around for couple of days and left their garbage inside. To be honest, I would NOT buy a car from these guys because they have absolutely horrible customer service and try to trick you into signing papers without explaining many unreasonable extra fees. Damn I have never been so disrespected for something that I am (my brother is) paying for.

Horrible experience with the sales contact and manager. They have no idea what issues their cars have. They buy in stock and sold it to us in confidence that they will take care of everything. They sold me a car with no AC and I had to go to a dealer to and pay an extra $2400 out of my own pocket. When I asked for them to pay for at least half, they kept ignoring my calls. They have cars with low kilometers but I would never trust them. This was purchased by my father John Antanrajakumar and we have contacted Karmann many times.

Wish I could leave less then 1 star. Absolutely horrible experience dealing with this dealership. I emailed about a couple trucks they had for sale. I was told they were still available. I then emailed back multiple times about scheduling a time to come see them. After no reply for days I decided to take a chance and take the 2 hour drive down to see them. I pulled up to a dealership with no customer parking whatsoever. I was told that both trucks were at an off lot storage area. I was asked why I didn’t make an appointment. I replied I tried but nobody replied to my emails. The salesman then said he’d take me to see the trucks. Offered no apology for not getting back to me. We then looked at the first vehicle that had been painted in multiple areas very poorly. The whole box and most of the front end had the paint texture of an orange. I said I wasn’t interested in that vehicle and asked to see the other one. He then took me to another lot and showed me the other truck. It was parked in a parking lot with 2 foot high weeds and vehicles parked so close to each other I couldn’t even walk around the truck I was looking at. I couldn’t even pull it out of its spot because parked in front of it was a vehicle sitting on 3 flat tires. Again this truck showed signs of the same very poor paint work the other truck had. Just not in such a large area. I wasn’t allowed to test drive either vehicles. I was told if I bought them they would be in perfect condition. I told them I’d need to think about it and thanked him for his time. I was told if I decided to buy it I could apply for financing online. After thinking about it all weekend I decided I could potentially over look the poor paint work and applied for financing. I was emailed back very quickly saying I was approved but the lender needed my last 2 paystubs. I sent them right away. I was then asked to send a letter from my employer verifying my position and pay wage. I sent that back very quickly. I then got an email saying my bureau showed I already had a current car loan, they asked if that was true. I replied back and said yes but I was down to 1 more payment remaining and that’s why I was looking to upgrade. Then crickets. I have heard nothing back in 4 days. Not an email not a phone call nothing. I replied back to the email asking what was going on. Again nothing. I have worked in the auto industry for 20 years and have never seen anything like this. It blows my mind not only how they present the vehicles they are selling for top dollar but by the fact a customer can send them personal information such as their sin number employment info etc and get totally ghosted by them. Absolutely unbelievable. Stay far, far away from this place.

I can't recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership. In my opinion, they are much more interested in making higher profit than providing good service to their customers. The rep I was dealing with was significantly late for our scheduled appointment (maybe a sales tactic, maybe just rude). Despite four days notice, the vehicle also had more preparation time needed. When finally delivered, they had also not had enough time to properly clean the vehicle. I was invited to bring it back another time for cleaning. They charge over $1,000 more than the originally agreed price (for admin/handling/safety) and amortized the financing by two extra years than originally discussed. Additional warranties and insurances were assumed and included in the paperwork before discussing their merits. Answers to questions were quick and vague, and then later proved wrong. In my opinion they would have said anything to sell the vehicle quickly. After the car was turned off for the first time, the engine light came on and has been on since. Another inspection revealed it was likely temporarily fixed for the safety. The vehicle was delivered with 4 different tires. It could have been the previous owner, but based on mileage and the other experiences, I do not think so. Before the delivery, they took the car to put fuel in it but only felt courteous enough to fill it half way. Not a big deal, but indicative of their priorities. The second star is because the staff made somewhat pleasant small-talk while I waited.

Do NOT go here. I purchased a car here and I had paid an additional $600 for the safety to be passed. However, there was not only an oil leak, and a radiator leak, but my dipstick (mandatory for safety passing) was missing. When I went to get the dipstick put in place, the wrenchmonkey managed to snap off the dipstick pipe from the engine block which caused an additional oil leak. The junior salesman tried to tell me none of these things were part of the safety and had the nerve to request a 5 star review on here. Maybe if they give me my money back, I won't report them to OMVIC...

Went to buy an 2010 AUDI Q7 used approx less than 150,000km. Photos online and salesman gave me the impression that it was a worthy buy. When I arrived car not available on the lot but kept approximately 3 blocks away in a rat infested garage. Upon arrival The my first impression is that this isn't anything that was shown online or said to me by the salesman... The tires were flat and the vehicle wouldn't start at first but when it did the engine was knocking with some other weird noises from under the hood. The body was in bad shape and I noticed leaks. I asked the salesman just for conversation sake if the price was negotiable and/or what was the dealership willing to do it... And they had to the nerve to tell me that they already put work into the vehicle that the price is firm but they're only going to be fixing what doesn't pass safety. Finally we were denied a test drive before making a deposit. BIG turn off!!! Don't recommend products not as advertised and there's a sense of entrapment... Buyers beware!!!

Shady, shady manager/owner. We went to see a truck with 26k on it. After saying our mechanic will take a look at it they needed a week to "clean" it. Turned out the car had way, way over those kms and they greased up the drive shaft so it wouldn't make noise since it was on it's way out. The only good thing about this place was the sales person.

Please do not get sucked in by these guys. They seem polite, however, they will promise the world and then wiggle themselves out of it and stick you in garbage. My girlfriend purchased a vehicle and Derek promised everything would be fix when we got the car, it would be certified and that was that. READ the bill of sale, DEMAND a copy of the bill of sale and make sure no agreements are made verbally. We got screwed because everything was verbal. Nothing was fixed that was promised. The windshield (A safety issue) was cracked all the way across. The rear wiper arm was busted off, there was rust on the door sill that didn't get fixed. They didn't listen to us at all. We finally got a copy of the bill of sale from the insurance company which got sent a copy from this place. Please use absolute caution when dealing with the people.

The best part about this experience was the salesperson. Went in to check out a car that was advertised to have Bluetooth and 5 passengers on autotrader which is in fact not true. Then the car was in far worse condition then stated with cosmetic damage all around the car and there is a massive $600 dollar fee just to certify the car alone. Nice people but unrealistic pricing for those who want to do business with them.

Avoid buying a car from this place. They are very unprofessional and shady. They have no idea what customer service means. If you ask them to test drive a car twice they will ask you put down a deposit and sign bill of sales. They will tell you they will fix anything wth the car but I doubt that. Over all not a pleasant experience. If I am going to spend my money and buy a car i want to know that I can trust the people I am dealing with. I didn't get the feeling I can trust these people. Purchasing a car is a big investment. It is worth to do your research and to deal with people you can trust even if it means you pay a little bit more for the car.

The worst experience I've ever had. Even the leasing company said they've never seen anything this bad. The vehicle was paid in full Dec 1st and not delivered until the end of March. They told me that it was certified and the engine light would turn off after a few km. Total lie. CURRENT BILL FOR REPAIRS IS OVER $5000! They owed me $1000 overpayment from deposit and said they would only return it if I took down this negative review. Screw you Karmann. Thieves and liars. Harold, Freddie, and David Nourani. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. Any positive reviews can only be their friends. This place is the worst.

Just bought a truck. Alan was great to deal with but the manager felt much pushier on the whole process the 2nd time. Bottom line, my husband knows cars well and we knew we wanted this vehicle. I think if they would slow down the process and actually be upfront about everything to do with the vehicle they'd be better off and receive a better review from me and others. Felt rushed but we did our own research which is why we went ahead with the sale. I also highly don't recommend demanding reviews immediately from your clients. Very off-putting. Overall though, so far so good and we'll see what the next few months bring.

We needed to trade in our Ford Ranger for a crew cab truck. Karmann Fine Cars had a Chevy Colorado that was perfect for us. When we test drove the truck there were a few things we wanted them to look at (driver seat wouldn't adjust properly, tailgate handle felt like it was going to brake, some paint on the chrome bumpers). We negotiated a deal we were very happy with. When we collected the truck all of the things they said they would fix were sorted. On my drive home I noticed that the abs warning light was on. I called them and they invited my in on the next working day for it to be sorted free of charge. Overall I am very happy with our purchase and experience with Karmann Fine Cars.

My friend purchased a car from this dealership and they treated him horribly. They were rude and unprofessional. They lie to him about when the car would be ready. The manager tried to sell him the winter tires that came with the car separately when the salesperson already told him that those tires came with the car. I do not recommend this place.

Stay away from this place! I would rate this place zero stars if I could. The warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on. I bought a diesel jetta which looked great and drove great on the test drive. He said he had put a new transmission in it. I did my due diligence and it seemed like a good car. About 3 weeks in iI noticed a wheel bearing was needing replacing and I was having issues with the automatic transmission lagging and then slamming into gear. All of this was covered under the warranty. After a lot of arguing he did fix the wheel bearing, but the transmission, he said he wouldn't fix unless the transmission completely failed. After the worthless warranty ended the tranny did fail. He was also so rude to my fiance that it made her cry.

Shady place. Stay clear. They didn’t certify the vehicle just cleared the codes and said it was done. Took it straight to my mechanic and he was blown away that they sold this as certified. Didn’t even have oil in it! Gas was empty too we were driving around panicking looking for a gas station. A week later all codes showed up again and it’s been at the shop weekly since they won’t honour their ‘ warranty’. How is this place still in business??

I bought a Dodge Charger from this Dealership, and after a week heard a noise from the front end. I contacted the sales person and they had no problem on me getting my car back in for them to check it. I made appointment to bring it in that week, and they did some big repairs to my car, and they went the extra mile to make me very happy! Once they fixed it they brought it back out and the engine light came on, in stead of just erasing the code like other garages would of done, they scaned it and found out it was a O2 sensor, the owner said change it. The sales staff here are amazing and very professional, and they help me alot, from the sale too making it right, and making a customer happy. l will be back to purchase another car from them. Drove 2 hours to look at a car I was told was in excellent condition. The car was far from it... ripped seats, front bumper was scraped up, rear bumper was hit and paint chipped off and cracked (spiderweb), mirror was held in place by a piece of cardboard to hold it steady. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED I was lied to after much contact and stressing I did not want any surprises. So another 2 hour drive home, I wasted the better part of a Saturday. Long story short... SID is a liar and no apology was given for WASTING MY TIME.

Like most i'm assuming, I had my reservations about buying a car from a used car dealer. You hear the horror stories and see how they are depicted in the media, but the guys at Karmann were excellent. The manager David was determined to get me into a safe vehicle for my family. Harold and Masood added their customer service knowledge to the experience and got me into my Mazda 5. The after care was phenomenal! There was an issue with the vehicle that David was uncomfortable with and was determined to rectify. He worked with me to bring the car in at convenient time, and his mechanic took care of a front end noise issue satisfying any minor concern I had with the vehicle or with the people I had chosen to give my business to. I was with him the day we picked up the car and when we got to the highway it started pouring. We could have died with the wipers barely working at a slow speed. Utterly terrible and shady dealership!! If I had seen the reviews before going to Toronto to buy a car from them, I NEVER would have dealt with these scum bags. I purchased a 2009 Lancer Ralliart from them. The car was to be ready for 2:30pm when I got there from Sudbury. We got there, and they told me they decided to put 4 new tires on the car. Fine...that's ok. 4.5 hours later.....we FINALLY got the car. 4.5 hours to install tires....whatever. This was around 6:30-6:45pm. We headed on our way out of Toronto. Stopped for fuel (which the car didn't have....should have had at very least a half tank), then were on our way. We hit the 400 North around Black Creek Rd. I noticed a small vibration at speed...but didn't think anything of it, it felt like a tire out of balance...no big deal. A passer by flagged me down, telling me that it looked like a wheel was about to fall of the car!! We pulled to the side of the 400....horrified to say the least. Found all the wheels were tight. Decided to limp the car on the shoulder off of the 400 to Finch. We got to a hotel, jacked the car up and for sure found that something in the suspension had let go on the right rear. Forced to spend the night in a hotel, with nothing and 5 hours from home. I had the car towed to Trento Mitsubishi in the morning, as I wasn't going to trust Karmann's opinion on the situation. They informed me that the car looked to have been in an accident. The right rear wheel was slightly bent, ball joint showed play, the left rear rim was TOTALLY bent out of shape, and BOTH brand new rear tires were out of round. Called Karmann, and they were totally surprised at all of this. Come on....you drove the car all over Toronto to have tires installed....don't tell me you didn't notice a problem. Told them I wanted my Ram back, and they hesitated, until I mentioned that I had contacted a lawyer. Boy, did the story change then. Had the car towed to them, reversed the transaction and took my truck. They offered to fix the bent wheels...but what else is wrong with this car now? So myself and my fiance, are now out a full days pay each, the cost of a hotel room and a inspection cost from another dealership. The only offer to compensate that I received from them, is a CREDIT for Karmann Fine Cars in the amount owing...like I'm EVER going to deal with them again!! That's a slap in the face. Long story short...stay FAR AWAY FROM KARMANN FINE CARS!! THEY ARE SHADY AND CLEARLY DEAL CASH FOR THEIR CERTIFICATIONS, AS THIS CAR NEVER SHOULD HAVE PASSED MECHANICAL!! When asked for copies of all documentation from the sale, I was denied. No copies made, nothing given to me upon sale. Pages were shoved in front of me without being given the chance to read them!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!

The most horrible experience I have ever had and this is why: -the owner/manager, calls himself “David,” is a rude, condescending, lying and a proud character. He was also condescending to his sales person helping me. -I bought a Jetta from them and it has been a nightmare since I got this car. -they will add extra $700.00 for safety and you won’t have the option to buy the car as is if you are financing. Even though they added this, they gave me a car without working wipers and a leaky transmission. I have taken the car to them twice now and they still did not fix the leak from the transmission. Since the oil drips from the transmission, it should have been fixed as part of safety. -I was told that my car will be detailed when I pick up. It was not even washed. -they will ask you to leave a deposit and sign bill of sales if you want to take the car and showed to another mechanic. -they added extra repair and loan insurance coverage to my car loan without my consent and invited me to commit fraud once I said that I don’t want the repairs warranty. IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED A CAR FROM THIS PLACE RECENTLY, PLEASE REVIEW YOUR FINANCE PAPERS. These people will lay to your face without hesitation. Also, there is a good chance that they have not purchased the coverages on your behalf at all. -I am not sure if this dealership changed management recently, but this current management has zero sense of what's customer service.

I bought a 2012 Mercedes Sprinter with my band from Karmann Fine Cars in late April 2016 for $21,000, plus taxes and fees. Less than two months later, we left it at a garage in Kelowna BC after a wheel came off. We were driving 100 km/h on a two-lane highway through a mountain pass. It’s not Karmann’s fault that the road was winding, nor that it was in the mountains, nor that no truck was coming towards us nor that we didn’t go off the edge of a cliff. But, according to the Mercedes mechanic where we took the van, it’s likely Karmann’s fault that the wheel wasn’t torqued on properly. I wouldn’t put it past them. Between buying the van and the wheel coming off, we broke down 6 times. We went to 7 garages. It got picked up and carried away on three different tow trucks. Another thing that happened, also on a highway going 100 km/h in traffic, was that the driveshaft bearing snapped. That was in Connecticut. To be reasonable, a couple of things: We bought a four-year-old van with 370,000 kms on it. If you read enough Sprinter forums, you’ll probably conclude that they can last into the high hundreds of thousands (as the Karmann people pointed out many times), but that they’re prone to normal wear and tear as they get old. So buyer beware. Fair enough. Within a few hours of leaving Karmann with our new van, the check engine light was on. It had to do with an exhaust problem. Given the problems we later discovered, I can only suspect that they had reset it before selling it to us, which usually buys a few hours until the computer finds the fault and turns the light on again. Karman did some kind of in-house safety check for the province of Ontario. When we brought the van to be safety checked in our home province of Quebec in order to register it, the inspector found a list of issues. Like loose tie rods and bushings and a hole in the exhaust pipe. Karmann said they they had replaced the exhaust pipe prior to the sale. Actually, they welded a new end onto a broken pipe. We spent $2000 getting it all up to speed. Then I had to pull teeth and ultimately show up in person back in Toronto in order for Karman to honour their 30-day safety warranty. I managed to squeeze about $1000 out of them. There were loads of little things like this. It’s annoying just typing them. I just want to do may part and warn buyers about Karmann Fine Cars. We are normal people who paid good money in an exchange that we thought was done in good faith. It should have been as simple as that. These Karmann guys have hid behind their warranty. They are elusive. They play good cop, bad cop. They faked phone calls to each other. They can hardly handle eye contact. Their in-house mechanics are of dubious credibility. Yet the salesperson told me they they move 20-30 vehicles a month. Be careful. Maybe you won't have as much bad luck as we did, but rest assured you will be dealing with dishonest people. And that the condition they say your car is in maybe ain’t so.
