When the diagnostic was done it was explained very clearly to me as to what was wrong with my car and a suggestion of next steps to take. We recently picked our brand new Santa Fe sport from Hyundai of Oakville. Our entire experience from start to finish was very positive and everyone we encountered during the process was informative and helpful. We never felt pressured into buying a car on the spot and even though we were only looking at the Santa Fe, they pulled out multiple cars for us to compare the different trim levels and test drive the cars. We had many questions about the different trim level packages and our salesperson was able to quickly answer all of our questions. Overall our experience with this purchase was great and would definitely recommend our family and friends.

Super disappointed by the service I received yesterday. I had originally bought my Hyundai at this location and was looking to upgrade. I was set up with a manager and we spent almost half an hour together, she was about to get my car assessed for trade in value. When another customer came in, I’m assuming one she already knew, she came back to the room and asked if we could talk later as she had another appointment. She never mentioned this prior to this point. Also, when I asked to speak to someone else she said that everyone was busy without even checking. I hasn’t even had the opportunity to tell her I was looking for two cars. Because of this experience I will bring my business elsewhere.

I was quite disappointed this time with the charges for my repair. I have been charged for the diagnostic of an issue even though I had to pay for the full repair. My brakes also had to be done but the dealership dropped the diagnostic charges for the brakes. I will look for another dealership or go to an independent mechanic from now on. It would have been an easy fix to please me as a customer but that didn’t happen.

No sense of customer service...Now I have received a letter for software recall/update but no one picks up the phone to book an appointment. I am stuck with them as I live in Oakville. I purchased my 2018 Elantra last April, with 14000km on it. It was a time sensitive purchase so the dealership I bought from ended up being within walking distance of my home. Within moments of speaking with staff at this location I wished I had come to this dealership first; polite, down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable, outstanding. I had brought the car in for an electrical issue I hoped would be covered by warranty, but it turned out the root cause is a hack job install of an aftermarket remote starter that was in the car when I bought it. It took staff less than 2min to identify the problem. I imagine removing the starter and fixing the electrical will prove to be a minor nightmare, but after my experience with this team I wouldn’t want to take it anywhere else. Bringing a car in for service (or to fix the previous owner’s screw up) can be such a daunting experience, but the staff here are so friendly and down to earth that the whole experience was much easier. I will certainly see them again!

1st time dealing with Hyundai of Oakville and it was great. Customer service was excellent they took care of our vehicle (2019 Hyundai Santa Fe) and us. During these difficult times due to covid-19 they have safety measures in place and made us feel at ease. I switched from another dealership in my area due to horrible customer service from the maintenance department, even had my charging cable for my phone disappear after having a service done. Having no other choice to switch dealerships after receiving a poor response from the previous one I had issues with. Currently I've only been to Hyundai of Oakville once but they left a great impression and looking forward to my next service with them

I purchased my new car from this dealership and at that time the service was good since they wanted me to buy. I traded my Mercedes and was told they do not resell it and that they have to sell it to a wholesaler and gave me a low price for my trade. We had 4 brand new winter tire and rims which they told us they did not need and would not give us anything for however when we asked for it back we were told no...it was part of the deal. We went back to the dealership a few days later and my Mercedes was on their lot for sale at almost twice the price they gave us.....we were shocked. They also sold us the platinum warranty that covers dents and dings we paid $2000.00 three days after having the car a baby wagon rolled into the car leaving a small ding when we took it to the dealership we were told it was not covered as it was a crease and it would cost $300. Now we have damage on the rims and again we were told it was not covered by this warranty.....What does the warranty really cover I wonder. I am now waiting 5 days for a call back from the Service Manager Simon after leaving at least 3 messages for him and told them we were leaving the country. Contacted the dealership Manager Greg about this and he did not return my call either. I am sorry now that I recommended people to this dealership if this is the way they will be treated. I am taking my business elsewhere as they do not seem to appreciate it. Warranty they sold me seems to be useless so far.

Staff is always friendly. i love when i pick up my car and it has been washed. They don't always do this unfortunately if they are too busy, but the Starbucks gift card was a nice surprise. i was hoping they would also look into a loud noise coming from my engine but for the first time them said it would cost $79 for them just to look at it? this charge is new and i was not impressed. it seems that alot of businesses are making changes during covid that may hurt them in the long run.

Excellent service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Work gets done very quickly. They keep updating you on the progress. Simple check in and check out procedure. I prefer waiting in the lounge while work is done on my car. The dealership doesn't offer Loaner vehicles and though their car wash is complimentary, they do not wipe the car dry. I think most dealerships in this segment do not dry the vehicle after washing it. I prefer to not get the car washed because my car is always detailed and clean when I take it for service. I do not drive my car till its clean and dry so I dry it off myself before leaving the dealership. Not taking points off from them because it's a general practice for dealerships to not dry their vehicle though I wish they did. A wet car being delivered just doesn't look good. Looks like an incomplete job. Overall a great dealership. And they remember their regulars by face so that's good too. Five stars for Hyundai Oakville.

Bought my 2017 Santa Fe in December and had a great experience. Marc was the sales person that helped me and not only did he make himself available for my schedule he was very knowledgeable and experienced with these vehicles. WORST Hyundai Service ever, One and half month ago I went for them to fix my Tucson car "Engine light ON" that I originally bought it from same branch last year and guess what I'm still waiting for an update. Had my car for oil change and winter tire installation. Overall, terrible experience: - As I walked in and sat with a CS agent, the first think I am told that I didn't book the appointment right. Something about my car VIN number being wrong. Given that I used the online booking and the system automatically looked up my car based on my phone number (I'd serviced my car here before), I am not sure what I did wrong. A matter of fact, I never entered my VIN into the system. And starting a conversation with a client with telling him what he did supposedly wrong felt really strange to say the least. Even if I did do something wrong. But I decided to let it go and went to the waiting area. Yet there was more to come. The agent came back later and said my front brakes are basically done and needed to be replaced (both pads and rotors). I do my brakes myself so I declined. The agent mentioned that this is a safety concern etc. I declined again. So I was made to signed the waiver and got my car back. So last weekend I went ahead and replaced the brakes. And sure enough, the pads and rotors were not worn out - I have pictures actually. Clearly, this was just an attempt to do an unnecessary and expensive service. I don't think I will even come back. Updated with pictures to address the owner reply: As you can see the report given to me stated the pads as 1 and 1.5mm left. And the picture of the actual pads with even slots presented. So it has nothing to do with the industry and factory recommendations. It is about misrepresenting the facts.

I came in to have my coolant changed and that was done in a timely manner. No where on the receipt though does it say long life HOAT coolant was used so I'm not sure if this green coolant is to be changed every 2 or 5 yrs. Also while I was driving home I had to pull over because the splash sheild was not reattached and was dragging all over the highway.

I would NEVER buy a car from here ever again. The Customer Service is disgusting to say the least. They have no value for your time. Short back story for you- Bought a brand new Sante Fe 2017 late October, was told the remote starter is on back order. NO ONE ever called us to let us know the remote starter was available. When I called two weeks after (4 weeks since buying the vehicle) I was told my service appointment was booked 15 days from the call. ON THE DAY of my service appointment, they called and CANCELLED, because THEY overbooked and couldn't fit me in. It was a HUGE inconvenience to my family and I, and they couldn't offer me ANYTHING!. The staff is very UNORGANIZED! They really just want your money, and to get you outta there. If you make the mistake of buying a car from these guys you will DEFINITELY realize soon after. Worst car dealership ever! Very disgusted and disappointed.

The sale reps and service reps are friendly, I get my oil changes at this location if in dire need; however, I haven't had a "superb" experience at this dealership, unfortunately. We own a 2014 Santa Fe. Around the 2015 mark, still under warranty, we heard a "clunking" noise while making sharp turns (i.e. U-turn, 3-point turn). Did not have success at Streetsville Hyundai as they couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from (they replaced some parts in which they thought it could be coming from), nor did Oakville Hyundai. The "clunking" still comes and goes; however, not as evident. Someone wrote a review at dealerater.ca re the Service mg (J.L.) at Oakville Hyundai that the service mg "did not demonstrate sensitivity, nor did he know how to deal with an upset client. He yelled at me, told me to be quiet and sit down. He treated me like a child. He was aggressive, mean spirited...This dealership will leave you feeling disrespected and powerless, especially as a woman. Ive read other reviews of J.L. and it is interesting to note how many women have had terrible experiences with him." When service mg J.L. was assisting trying to diagnose where the "clunking" noise was coming from, this lady who wrote that review at dealerater.ca was bang on; I had to get my husband to intervene after my unfortunate experience with him (i.e. demeaning, lack sensitivity, aggressive, etc). I have not had communication with the service mg since. He's still employed at Oakville Hyundai. Last note: I recently (Feb 10) had my car in for service for 2 recalls and oil change. Because of covid and dealership has to follow protocols, clients cannot stand/sit and wait indoors. They had patio seating outside. I will remind you that on Feb 10 was -14*C with windchill. Just a tip to increase customer service satisfaction: during winter conditions, perhaps having patio/outdoor heaters and advise clients (in advance, especially if they are coming in for service) to dress appropriately as they will have to wait outside. NB: I was NOT advised by the receptionist who booked the service for me via telephone that I'd have to wait outside. I did read in one of the responses from Oakville Hyundai stating, "We have made every effort to communicate to our customers via email and text as well as upon entering the building that there is no waiting within the building." In my case, it did not happen.

I had some doubts about the functioning of my Hyundai's hybrid system and took it to the service centre in Oakville after getting an appointment on the phone and a quick internet chat. The staff were quite transparent about how they would approach the problem and provided courteous service throughout. I was also given a complete report on what could have been the problem with the hybrid system. Once you get an appointment, things are sorted out quite smoothly here. I would highly recommend this particular location of Hyundai, you get your money's worth!

Service advisor did not listen to my parents whatsoever and shrugged them off. They paid 158 extra dollars because the heated seat was broken which we already told them prior to vehicle getting serviced. In addition the driver seat was having an issue moving all the back and the service advisor Andy didn’t believe my dad. We even showed him ourselves that it didn’t go all the way back. The dealership and sales people are awesome. Very elegant very respectful however the service sucks. The receptionist does not know how to communicate with customers and they way her tone and attitude is just makes you never come back here again for service. Had an appointment for oil change which realistically maximum can take up 45 minutes. However been here waiting for 2 hours and now this lady comes and gives me attitude saying “you have to wait another 50 minutes we doing updates and if you come at your appointment time doesn’t mean we going to take your car in” like what??? What’s the point of appointment then to begin with. Long story short, great place to purchase a car, worst place to service one.

Recommend oil changes every 6000km? That's insane. Owners manual clearly states 12,000km. New vehicles are now running 10 to 12,000 MILES between oil changes. Don't expect this dealership to back their vehicles or their work.

My wife and I bought our first ever new family car here and the least I can say about that experience.. was not the smoothest and great as what we both imagined it to be. We are not the vip kind and we just wanted to get our purchase right. Our simple order of bigger tires was made complicated. It took a month to get our car because of it. A lot of back and forth can be a little frustrating but they make it up with gift cards if you are unhappy. I still recommend this dealership, however make make sure you double or triple check everything with them.. Everything!! ???? I am hoping their repair and maintenance is better..because i am at their mercy for making my car last longer through maintenance and check ups ????Crossing fingers????????????

Normally this place has great servicing, however I think they have shifted to profits over customer satisfaction. Given the COVID crisis you would think they would ramp up their service levels to ensure comfort, security and satisfaction. Contrary to this they have crowded waiting rooms as a result of running 3 hours behind to scheduled booking times. They are running behind because they have reduced staff, yet they insist on getting servicing that is not necessary but recommended while they are already late in servicing appointments. I am had to change my tires and was led to believe I had two other services that I should consider given that I had not reached the milestones for regular servicing. While waiting for 2.5 hrs I did some research on the company website and nothing that was recommended was necessary at this time and could easily be done with the next service Everyone waiting was there for at least 2 hours and then the service affiliate would come and recommend more stuff to be done The waiting room is like a prison. A chair tied to a desk at an angle so you can't even sit comfortably to get Any work done while you fear of catching the virus. There are no sanitizers or garbage bins in the room and for 3 hours there was no sanitizing done. The sanitizers at the service desks were empty I can appreciate that we live in unprecedented times. But organizations that are open need to ensure the safety of their clients and not sacrifice their service at the same time. I know the level of service this company can offer and it is truly disappointing of how much it has regressed. My suggestion , just like you call the client and when you need to up sell the repairs, call them and let them know there is a 3 hour wait. Let them make the decision before they are there. Do not up sell and rebook does that those that have schedules their appointments do not have to wait and waste their time.

Terrible service, took my vehicle in and after a regular service the hood light sensor stayed on immediately after the service. The dealership wanted to charge for an “air bag diagnostic” and wasn’t touch by the original service which is impossible since they opened the hood latch. *Added photo as well but it was a video of the hood light blinking on and off. Got fixed in 2 min at another garage who bothered to actually look at the issue.

Edit: I should add after hyundai oakville's follw-up that the hyundai company didn't inform their dealerships/ partners about the recall. So that is why when I did go in, the service agent was surprised to find this change by the HQ. I wasnt going to review but Hyundai asked me too so here it goes.... They called me for a recall a while ago so I said a bunch of different times I was available. They said "sorry we can only perfom this recall on Thursday and our shuttle service isn't working either" so I said seriously? And they said yes....it's just for high beams being stuck on so who knows why they said that. Then they called me again about the recall so this time they said nothing about Thursday. So I assume that was miscommunication. So I go to get the recall done but sorry, the recall contract has expired/ ended and therefore the recall isn't happening even though the part is there. If I ever get in a wierd accident wherein hurt another car because the high beam is sticking then Hyundai Oakville here is your notice to figure out why you guys can't coordinate or communicate.

I was misinformed of a prepaid service package by a service advisor here at Oakville Hyundai where the previous (original) owner of my vehicle had purchased, and was given incorrect information that it would transfer over to me as it was linked to VIN and not the owner. After a $1800 bill for a service, oil change, Terra clean fuel/emission service, brakes etc, 15 kilometers after getting my car back I had to call CAA due to a loose fuel feed line clip/retainer. The fitting on the fuel rail not being seated. Basically the fuel line was not attached. My car bled out gas. Got it fixed at a different dealership due to lack of trust. $25 to get a taxi home and $81 to fix it. Called the service desk and was advised they would let the mechanic know, no call back received as yet. Getting a new car in July, it won't be a Hyundai. Nobody should expect to get their car towed within a 15 kilometers distance after having the car serviced. It's now 6 days since I called The dealership, still no call back.

STAY AWAY: Sold us a defective 2020 Elantra. Sensors not working due to improper remote starter installation. They passed us off to other dealer which wrote ON PAPER Oakville's installation was defective, then they forced us to make 3 different trips from Scarborough to Oakville telling us the problem was fixed each time but it wasn't, the issue came back every time within 24 hours. Finally we went back and the sales manager Jason was frustrated to see us again, and started saying he cannot keep doing "work for free", he completely denied responsibility and said it was our fault! He searched the car and found a tiny 2mm clear coat scratch, and started demanding $1500 to further look at the car and refused to help. He kicked us out of the dealership saying if we're not paying we have no business we cannot stay there longer. This ordeal is extremely traumatic as we bought a new 2020 Hyundai and did not expect to have it damaged. Please stay away, their sales persons beg buyers for high Google Maps ratings after each sale to inflate their score, extremely unprofessional.

On the phone I was told that they would listen to it for free. Then when I arrived I was told was told it would cost $75. I was also told that the software update would take 20 minutes. Actually the whole experience took 2 hours. In the end they did listen to the braking system and didn't charge me for it, but I was told that I should be sure to actually use the brake pedal once in awhile otherwise I would be on the hook for repairs later on. In general the service department seems quite confused.

The shifting cable seized on my 2012 Genesis 2 days before it was being shipped across country. If I loose my spot I have to wait another 4 weeks and loose my $200 deposit. I decided to get rid of my 2017 Tucson because of the service and cost to maintain the car. The staff are friendly but not sure about the cost and quality of the service . Maintenance packages are more expensive than similar categories vehicles and almost on par of premium ones. break service for back wheels cost around $850. The car had exhaust leak and I was told nothing wrong while under warranty. When I visited another dealership problem was fixed. Personally I will not purchase Hyundai brand again as I think there quality is not in par with German and Japanese brands.

Victim of unfair warranty treatment. My Elantra GT, less than 3 years old, required steering parts. The parts were covered under warranty, but the work caused a need for the tracking alignment to be adjusted, which was not covered. Service staff explained that adjustments are covered under warranty for only one year. The tracking was fine when I put the car in for the work, but after this warranty repair for the parts I still ended up with a bill for $150. Daylight robbery - they caused the need for the work, then charged me for the adjustment that was only required because their parts failed inside warranty period! No wonder the car business has such a bad reputation.

Some two weeks before yesterday I called to book an appointment to put on my snow tires which Hyundai had in storage. About 15 minutes after arriving for my appointment I was advised they did not have my tires on site and it would take 48 hours to bring them from the storage facility. I would therefore need to return to have the installation done. The earliest date that was convenient is November 27th. It was explained they were busy doing snow tire work. Given it was the dealerships error I would have expected different treatment. As a minimum to be advised to return after the 48 hour recovery period and to be “ fitted in” to their busy schedule given the dealership breakdown in communication I have in the past enjoyed a high level of service so this is a disappointing service incident

Sales agent verbally told me that I'd be getting the lease on a 3 year term for a 2020 Hyundai Elantra, and for some reason, I trusted him. Ended up signing a contract for a 4 year lease term because he didn't tell me that the contract would be for 4 years instead of 3. When I eventually found out about this by reading my contract, I call their manager and he tells me that I can't get out of the lease unless I pay for the full price of the car, which of course is standard but under the given circumstances I wanted something to be done about it. He gives me a number which he says is to Hyundai's head office, or something like that. I call the number, and no one picks up; its just a voice message asking me to do a survey every time. Do not trust the sales agents at this location. Other than the sales staff, the oil change service was good. They even wash your car after changing the oil.

I went for a recall and also mentioned a small rattle that I wanted to have looked at. They couldn't quite reproduce the problem (or figure it out based on my description) and were almost ready to send me on my way. But the dealership owner offered to come for a ride and he listened closer. He correctly diagnosed that the problem was actually on the opposite side of the car from where the rattle noise seemed to be coming from. They ordered a replacement part and fixed it...the rattle is all gone! It was under warranty too! They went the extra mile. The Oil change was done very quickly which was nice. The car wash is a bit of a joke but it is complimentary at least. I will say this the person on reception was a real pain when trying to book the appointment. A lot of attitude and what I would describe as very very unhelpful. Tried to say there was no appointments for weeks. My wife who was bringing it in is a shift worker at the hospital and it is challenging enough to bring it in during business hours so the attitude was not well received. Turns out if your book your appointment online there were many appointments available. Next time we won’t bother making a call to them that’s for sure.

This company is selling broken cars. I bought used car. As a result noise when I started engine. Noise became loudly after changing engine oil !!! Insurance company didn’t want to cover the repair. They said that I need to wait while the engine will stall. Hyundai Oakville gave interesting insurance for engine- they didn’t cover replacement wear parts. Also this car was sold with interesting carproof claims. in 2017 odometer 139850km, in 2018 - 108019km. After situation with engine I began to concern about odometer of my car.

Hands down the WORST dealership I've been to in my life! I would give zero stars if I could. My partner brought her car in for a routine service because her amount of km's called for it. She brought it to the dealership and once she had been told everything was good to go and she paid approximately $400. Later in the week, problems kept happening, like the car not being able to turn over, sounds coming from the engine, the car would stall multiple times while driving. She had then brought the car to Hyundai in Mississauga who looked the car over and they found that Hyundai had not tightened the screws on the battery and LEFT A WRENCH IN THE HOOD. Hyundai Mississauga called the Oakville location to tell them what they had found. My partner then brought the car BACK to Hyundai Oakville to return the wrench and they told her to leave the car with them to checked everything over and return to car to her the next day. When she got her car back "all good to go", her car would turn off while driving, if it would turn on at all! Since she had had so many issues with Hyundai she decided to us a different mechanic that she trusts to look it over. Her mechanic went over the car, tightening everything to be sure but could not find the problem with the car and said it may have been a computer issue and to take it back to the dealership. So she did and suddenly the dealership finds that they didn't screw a sensor on right. HOW DID THEY NOT SEE THAT THE FIRST OR SECOND TIME??? Isn't it your job to make sure that everything has been covered and secured?? Then they made her pay AGAIN to screw the sensor back on. Hyundai again said we were good to go! Today, about a week later, we go to Mr Lube to get winter tires put on. The mechanics there found the oil was black and sluggish, the transmission fluid was black and disgusting. Why wasn't that covered in the "full service" she paid for in the beginning of all this? And if those types of routine services aren't covered under a "full service" visit then why wasn't it offer as an add on. Not to mention, if these problems were not found and the car stopped on the highway or that wrench fell further into the engine someone could have died or been seriously injured. If you truly care about your customers (which this dealership does not) you need to consider the standards of care at your facility. Hyundai's are known to be reliable but not when the people who work for the company are shifty liars. You gauge people for money! This is disgusting! How could you not do the bare minimum and tighten a screw?? How did it take three separate visits to come to a conclusion? How lazy or unprofessional can you get? We will NEVER recommend this company and especially not this dealership because we are completely disgusted by the lack of consideration, when it comes to something so important and a service that should be routine.

Terrible service. I went for a wheel alignment and I ended up with a flat tire and they refused to help me. I spent 45 minutes with one of the managers (Barrie Waterfield) who refused to give me a reasonable solution. He made fun for the fact that I didn't know how to change a tire and because I don't know what are the steps followed when during the alignment. This is unaceptable. Now I have to wait with my flat tire until the weekend is over to discuss this issue with the service manager.

Terrible experience with their service dept. I had a sudden power steering failure 2.5 years ago which almost caused a major accident. I found out there was a recall that I was never notified about which resulted in my power steering being replaced for free. Just this week while driving on the highway my power steering column suddenly fell apart and lodged behind my brake. I had a complete loss of steering and braking. My car flew across three lanes of traffic and I was able to stop with the emergency brake 2 feet from the wall. I didn't hit anyone which is a miracle. Anyways, it turned out a bolt came loose in the power steering column and Oakvillle Hyundai told me it wasn't their fault because it looks like someone tampered with the steering. I explained that it was obvious the tampering was when they replaced the power steering two years ago and it had not been touched since. When I said they should cover the cost of repairs which was only $150 they were very rude to me. I was planning on buying a new car this year. Lets just say for $150 dollars they lost a customer for life. BTW, If I had been going full speed on the highway when this happened I'd probably be dead and they would have a major lawsuit on their hand.

Had an odd experience with a recent service appointment. Made an appointment online to have my car looked at. There is a recall from Hyundai which I had them look at. I get a call a few hours after dropping the car off that it's ready to go, I arrive grab the keys and paperwork and leave, issue still there. I had assumed it was fixed because the service department did not say anything about it not being fixed or giving me a quote to fix the issue. I work for a dealer and I expect as a consumer a quote on fixing the issue or a heads up the recall was not part of the problem. If the problem is not fixed when the customer comes in isn't it regular practice to give them the option of fixing the issue? After a few calls and phone tag I received a rough quote on what is needed. Poor customer service. I have visited another shop and they got right to work outlining the pricing and issue and timeline on when it will be completed. I left feeling like it's your issue , figure it out.

Decent service buying a car but when you need to get the engine replaced because most of their 2012 and 13 elantra's start to tick at a high volume don't expect much help. After calling three times and being very polite, they continuously ignore our request for a bill of sale (required to get Hyundai to replace the defective engines free of charge) emailed to us. After sending a relative in to the store (we live in a different province now) to argue on our behalf they were unhelpful until he started to become more aggressive and persistent. Their receptionists and managers are useless if your not about to fork over 10s of thousands of dollars and instead want to repair the obsolete cars they sell. If the notorious Hyundai ticking noise happens to you, prepare to be required to present a great deal of paperwork to get them to fix the issue.

Second, once they found brake pad is too thin to be serviced, they asked me what to do, and reduced the service package price when I chose not to service brakes on that visit. Hyundai Oakville is the most terrible car dealership I have ever visited. We came there to take the delivery of our 2022 Santa Fe and the treatment given was terrible. I would strongly recommend to try other dealerships as these guys have no respect for the clients. ‘’Hardik’’, one of their sales rep He’s extremely ill-mannered and irresponsible. He mis-behaved with us and talks in a very harsh and rude tone. We wanted to check some amount in the sale docs and he wanted to rush everything to close the delivery. It’s not a small amount it’s a $65,000 car. When we escalated the matter found that others were also rushing for everything. It was a horrible- horrible experience. This location staff is friendly and seems nice but they told you to buy extended warranty and you will get back if you don't use but they never told you that you only have to drive 20000 km per year, if you drive more than that then you never get any money from extended warranty either you use it or not. It happen with me. I drove 100000 km in 3.5 years due to my daily commute is more so i took this warranty but they didn't told me truth and in last week i changed bearing and they told me to use extended warranty and i told them if i don't use then i get it back so i will pay for bearing service but they told me that i have to use it because i am not eligible to get money back due to excessive driving and not met criteria for 20000 km per year and I have to use it. It cover only 40k above 100k so don't buy it , its not worth it. Service center told me that they got many customer who ask same question about warranty who bought vehicle from Hyundai Oakville. This dealership not telling truth about warranty but just try to sell them by hiding facts.

AND ALL NO CHARGE!! I was blown away. Was very anxious driving with the wipers not working properly, but thankfully the snow had stopped and they accommodated me immediately. I dropped my car off to have the driver seat warmer repaired-(For a second time). They already repaired it once before. So I found it quite strange that it conked out AGAIN!! However. They quoted me over $900 for the repair, which I kindly rejected. They offered to washed my car as a courtesy. (That’s the least they could do). I noticed that the hood of my car had all these white dots covering the entire hood. Almost paint looking which will not come off. We left a message for the service manager (who was not in the office, convenient). We did get a message back from them claiming that the spots were previously already there. Which is totally untrue. We called back again and spoke with the receptionist and assured us they would call us back that afternoon and they did not. Extremely poor customer service.

Bought a used car from these guys and ended up with a problem within the first month. Went in for service with an appointment (they’re service hours are terrible for anyone working 9-5 jobs, but that’s another issue) and it took them 2 hours to tell me exactly what I had already told them when I got there. They sent me a text to tell me service was done however nothing was actually done on my car and they didn’t even offer to actually fix anything, I had to ask for it. Then they told me I’d have to come back in 2 days because they didn’t have the parts. When you tell someone “if that is the issue with the car it will cost this much”, you expect that number to include the solution to that problem and for them to check if they actually have the ability to fix that problem today. At the very least you need to communicate with your customers while the car is still being serviced to update them on the problem and discuss solutions. Due to a lack of communication and terrible customer service from the start I ended up wasting money and an entire morning for essentially nothing.

I purchased a Genesis Sedan Technology in December of 2011 as a 2012 model. I also purchased extended warranty for this vehicle at the same time. The car's been great and except for a few "infant mortality" issues, I have not had a problem - that is until 2 years ago. My back-up camera failed after a period of operating intermittently.Turned out I was still within the warranty period, however, according to the service advisor the insurance company were not willing to approve the repair until it had been determined what exactly was the failure - the camera, the harness, the display screen (although the screen still worked for other functions - the Nav system, radio display etc.) and it was left that I would have to pay for this diagnostic service so as to establish that it was an original part that failed and not due to other causes. My position was that that I had bought insurance and was now making a legitimate claim and hence the onus was on the the insurance company to pay for this. I decided to call the service manager about this issue. After some discussion, he agreed with me and offered to discuss my problem with the insurance company rep himself. He suggested it was the wiring harness. Once the harness arrived, a service call was scheduled to install it. Unfortunately that did not solve the problem. To make a long story short, in turn the camera was replaced (also found faulty) but the system still did not work, so the next thing was to change the display screen and when that was also found to not resolve the problem, the electronics driving the screen were also replaced. Finally, the system worked. Despite all the problems and unforeseen issues, this dealership resolutely stuck by me until the problem was solved at no cost to me. I had been doing all my service exclusively at this dealership and obviously with this saga have continue to do so. My latest visit was simply to install new summer tires replacing the originals (after 10 years). The job was done perfectly. I cannot rate this service department highly enough and would not hesitate to recommend this dealership's service department to anyone.

Booked my Santa Fe for a recall service 3 weeks in advance, but upon arrival no one informed me that the part was not available. Service Associate was unremorseful, and only focused on seeing if I wanted an oil change. Also, based on past experience, don't be afraid to shop around for maintenance and oil change prices. I found this location was significantly more expensive on a service level 3 oil change, compared to other locations in Mississauga or Burlington. I had to complain to the service manager in order to get a price match.

After a few months of shopping around for a new vehicle, I decided to pay a visit to a friend who works at this location. I spent the greater part of the day with Ramsen, Paulina, and Tanya. I can honestly say this was the best car dealership I have ever been to. All of the above staff were extremely polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly, not pushy, whatsoever. As far as service technicians go, Ramsen is the go-to guy. He was incredibly honest with any questions I had, and took time away from his service work to really make sure I was getting the car that was right for me. Their General Manager, Greg Carrasco (yes, the one you're thinking about from AM640) set me up with a great package. I've been taking the newly bought car to be serviced at this location regularly, as I bought it from the same dealership. However, very noticeable downgrade in service can be noticed especially when it comes to staff friendliness during checking in the car. They also don't brief you any more on what excatly was done/covered under the service until you ask. Waiting area wasn't clean much with no hand sanitizer in the room. One sport channel displayed and they didn't want to change the channel while waiting (1.5 hr+), although no one else was in the room! It's not worth the distance coming from Toronto. Could have done it at any other nearby Huyndai service location.

The dealership was very prompt with timing and reasonable regarding dropping off the car for convenience. The work was, presumably, done well and properly. The service person/people did not revert the car's settings back to our preferences, specifically: they did not revert the temperature setting back to Celsius; they did not turn off that hideous welcome chime, as it was prior to service; and they turned off the auto headlights for service, but didn't turn them back. These are things that are easy to ensure are done to please the customer. They weren't. And this wasn't the first time. I thought I took it to Hyundai of Oakville, not Nav Bhatia's Mississauga Hyundai.

I picked up my car on a wet dark night and drive off. I realized when cars kept honking at me that my lights weren’t on. I then tried to adjust the side mirrors only to find they were turned in and required pulling over and getting out of the car to adjust. Also the screen was not what I had before the car went in for service. Before the car went in for service, the lights were on automatic, the side mirrors were where they should be and the screen was what I had set it at. Before returning the car could the mechanics please see that the car is returned to whatever state it was when it was brought in. Thank you
