Late Nov 2021. Thornhill Hyundai Service phone call and text message to communicate opportunity of on site appraiser for my 2017 Santa Fe. Its let go should had been in their record. It demonstrates the enthusiasm and aggressiveness of the Sales team, new or old. It quite contrasts with the Service team vigor. There were not that fine experiences with them before. Badicalle lost out $50-$70 PLUS a very important irreplaceable item w meaning behind it all GONE! .If I could give anti stars I would. I want my stuff back! Also cat drove okay besides that there was some engine issues that should have been replaced long ago but nope and under warranty but oh well. However at the Hyundai Thornhill, we met Tara Fallah and while being realistic about the hardships of being a newcomer and getting a car, she was also optimistic and helped us in every way to be able to buy a car. Salar was my advisor each time and he was friendly, knowledgable and compassionate, he also made sure my car was well serviced. It goes beyond that though, since I now live in Aurora (way outside the shuttle area from Thornhill), here is why my loyalties to this dealership stay true... Salar arranged to have me picked up, got me a rental when something took several days, and on another occasion arranged a quiet office space for me to work in while I waited. STAY AWAY !! Probably worst dealer, service, customer service and management I have ever dealt with !. I would definitely not recommend. I met them first last September cause of my 2020 Palisade purchase, from beginning to end ( including last Friday’s very unfriendly and rude service area guys who made me decide to not leave the car for recall repair) they made me completely regret. During the purchase phase sales guy wasn’t enough informed about the car and its price, following sale agreement and placement of down payment I got much better quotations at 2 other Hyundai dealers !. Cause of the lost of original car keys !! they delivered my Palisade 2 days after their promise ( without informing me in advance or by returning my phone calls ) by making 2 new copied keys (of course no apology no recompense effort ). After delivery, they never paid attention or replied my negative/complaining reviews and emails sent regarding unpleasant purchase phase of my Palisade. If you’re looking to purchase a Hyundai you’re better off going to a different dealer.

I received great service from my salesperson, Mevlut. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. He took the time to discuss my options with me and provided me with useful tips. He did everything he could to give me a good deal. When picking up the car, he explained everything and invited us to contact him if we ever had any questions. Aside from the sales person, the financial advisor, Ethan, was also very helpful and supportive. The only negative feedback is for the service center, which is always very slow. They also tend to rush through (e.g. skip the carwash). I've had a couple of issues with them too, in the past, charging me by mistake, etc.. I hope they improve. Meanwhile, I would get my car serviced elsewhere.

So here's my story. I have a 2020 Kona which has engine trouble, that will take God knows to fix. This car had a recall notice since April 2021 and nobody said anything in Thornhill Hyundai service and instead, they are trying to blame us for oil or a small nail in the tire! During this time, I have no transportation. My car is under warranty. Hyundai has a strict policy of NOT providing loaner/courtesy cars to your customer for THEIR defects. This is really HORRIBLE customer service. Other manufactures provide loaner cars when there's a defect in their cars. This means for every Hyundai customer who bought a car and is still under warranty, they must foot their own bill for a rental. I don't recommend this company and their services AT ALL!

For me it is closest one. Today experience was ok. They changed their interior and reception to withhold 6 ft distance. No car in showrooms to avoid virus spreed. I liked the summer special, but they never stop at that, I think everybody knows that... it is the way they make money i assume ????. For buying experience once I showed them an offer to beat, but they was not able. But they did a good support for key replacement of my car. The new service manager helped us on that.

Bought a car on May 6, 2021from Mohsin Sheikh, it is not even been a year and this car gave us so many issues. On my first service, they forgot to reset the meter and I had to come all the way from Brampton to get it reset. After 3 months, the chrome peeled off from both sides and when I shared my concern I did not get any response from Thornhill Hyundai for more than a month. However, after calling them so many times Service Manager Joseph D'Orazio tried helping to sort this matter out. After waiting for such a long time 3months for parts and getting chrome fixed here comes another new issue; the Horn! Weirdest sound ever. It felt more like that I bought a second hand car where I am keep getting issues one after another. Don't know anymore how a new car feels like. Also, I requested for premium winter mats on the time of purchase and got the basic ones instead. Never liked the basic rubber mats and even told Mohsin that we want the premium mats. At the time of getting my winter tires on, they again did not check on their end if everything was good to go. As soon as I am off the highway, a notification pops up on my screen that check the Sensor monitoring system. Again, had to take off from work and had to go to Thornhill 1 hour away to get that fixed. So frustrated with the customer service and also left a couple voicemails to the Manager but still no one got back to me in regards to my concern.

BEWARE of their used car sales bait and switch. Do not trust their appointments for viewing used vehicles, unless you are not looking for a specific car. I set up an appointment to view a used electric vehicle (appointment confirmed on a Saturday, to come in on Monday morning to view the vehicle). Sunday they re-confirm by both email and text message. They re-confirm again on Monday morning. So I start heading over. When I arrive, they tell me that the vehicle was already sold, but no records were discovered in their system until the last minute. (I subsequently checked my email, and they sent me an email less than an hour before my appointment about the vehicle being unavailable - but I was already on the road on my way there!!). Conveniently, they offer an alternative, more expensive option they have in inventory, of not even the same model. Very deceptive and misleading, bait and switch tactics.

I was at this branch to trade in my car I met with Fort (the sales manager) and Andrey salesmen. The most important thing that I am upset with is that they never explained the features of the car that I was about to buy and after I received the car I saw that the trim is really far away with the thing that I had in my mind, maybe if they had explained the options for me I could get a better decision and get an upper trim but they were in rush and just wanted to sell the car. The worst part is that after 10 days of changing my car they didn't paid of my old car loan with the bank yet and caused me to be charged for the bi-weekly amount for the old car loan from the bank!!!!!!!!! although I have delivered the old car to the dealership and picked up the new one ! I tried to call Fort - the sales manager- several times to fix the issue but he never answered and when I went to the dealership in person he refused to see me !!!!!!!! So one of the other salesman who was around and saw me upset came and helped me, now I have to follow up with the bank to take back that bi-weekly amount which I have been charged for. I can't tolerate rudeness and being impolite the thing that I experienced there so NOT RECOMMENDED THEY GONNA WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

I would definitely not recommend Thornhill Hyundai. The advertising they have for their cars online is, at best, misleading and is just a hook to get you in at any cost. We found a 2019 Tucson - Ultimate on their website that was stated to have 1500km for a price that couldn't be beat - too good to be true. I called them three times to make sure that we would not be driving the 3 hours drive to Toronto for nothing, confirming the pricing and the actual car was on the lot with the actual mileage. The lady even told me that they put 1500 in the system because they don't want people to be upset when they arrive, and see that the car had been used for test drive. She checked in her system and confirmed that the car had 13km and was on the lot. Upon arriving for our 9am appointment - after a 3 hours drive, we were told that the person we were supposed to meet was schedule to work at 1pm that day, and above all, she was driving the actual Tucson that was advertised online. When we sat down to discuss the details, this new salesperson announced to us that the car we had inquired about had 11,000km on it, not 1500km as advertised. What an unprofessional service... Very disappointed in the staff who seemingly do not know very much about their cars. What's even worse is that in the afternoon, they called us to ask us if we were coming to our appointment that day. They seemingly did not even know who we were in the first place when we showed up in the morning, even after giving our names, showing email confirmations. We ended up buying our Tucson somewhere else where we were actually treated like respectable people.

Came here last time they installed rear new tire on my 2019 Elantra and since then my car pulls to the right and I asked them to fix it they did not fix it and told me the problem will go away on its own . And when I went to them for my next service I told them the problem is still there and they said it’s cuz of alignment but my alignment was correct last time it happen . Top of that when I left my car there it had no nail in the tire and later on they told me that my tire has a nail in it and needs to be replaced . I don’t know on which surface they drove my car . Definitely not comming here back again . I am too much upset .

Never lease a car from this place. I have leased a car from them and first of all, they sold me useless protection packages and claimed that this is even better than the Hyundai`s lease-end protection! During services, they were expensive and non-supportive. You basically had to fight every time to get the services you`re supposed to get from them. During the lease end process, I also had the most inconvenient experience with them. If you are after leasing with a piece-of-mind, don`t get your lease from them. Our first incident last year was that there was mass miscommunication which led to us having to go to the service department 3 separate times and we even had trouble getting a ride home and back. Today, we were told our tires weren't pulled from storage and we'd have to come back a second time, even though the service agent who booked our appointment told me we would have our tires changed the same day. Thankfully, today we dealt with Mimi who is apparently the customer experience manager and works at service. She explained everything to us and was empathetic to our situation. We ended up leaving our car and she told us everything would be done ok the first business day thereafter. She was really friendly and professional and we appreciate her help, given the difficulties we've had with service previously. Today my wife and I walked into this dealership looking to test drive a new Elantra. We were warmly greeted just after walking in, and after telling the receptionist what we wanted, we were asked to get comfortable and look around while she got someone to help us. Emilia met us on the floor and was happy to help us get a test drive within minutes. We made it clear we didn’t want to be pressured as most dealerships in our experience are quite aggressive. She made it clear that the staff here are not commissioned and that it’s something we wouldn’t have to worry about. Just before we went out for a drive she explained the current pricing to us about the trim we were interested in. The test drive vehicle was this red 2019 model. Emilia told us all about the car during the drive and was really helpful. One of the guys I talked to and joked around with at the dealership turned out to be the manager, also really easy going and friendly. When we were done Emilia gave us a nice brochure to take home as well as her card and offered to follow up with us late next week. We didn’t buy the car because we are still doing thorough research. But this being the fifth dealer we’ve visited, I can confidently say it was a great experience and if we choose to buy here I’m sure we’ll be happy. Thanks Emilia ????

Absolute disaster of a dealership. To push the deal through, the sales manager, Stan, promised that he would have our winter tires stored for us, and install them the following season. However, it turns out that they had misplaced or lost our brand new winter tires, and when we showed up for our scheduled appointment to swap the tires, they were nowhere to be found. This dealership has to be the worst dealership to work with; they make false promises, and take no care in the safekeeping of tires that are stored with them. Do yourselves a favour, and do not trust the management of this dealership, and do not trust any incentives they may offer. They do not even deserve a 1 star...

I don't recommend buying car here they are not transparent. They gave me an offer for 157$ biweekly of an Elentra including winter tires and 4 yrs maintenance then they said that they could give me discount and decrease the price to 139$ by weekly. I accepted and bought the car. When I took the car they said that winter tires and 4 yrs maintenance is not part of the deal! They said that when they decrease the price they delete them from the deal! Beside they filled tank of my car and added its cost to registration fees!

Best of all, they are able to sell genuine Hyundai parts at great discounts. For instance, I ordered a pair of rear shocks for my 2010 Genesis Coupe for $101 each where the regular price is $149.

After second visit 5 stars goes to 1 star. Took my wife Santa Fe 2.0T for oil change and tire rotation. Besides paid to check spark plugs. Diagnosis was spark plugs condition are normal. A few weeks later, we noticed noise coming from front wheel. Took it to the same place for diagnose (cost $135) Diagnose was that noise is caused by front wheel that was a few weeks ago rotated in the same place was now loose (free play) Besides they checked spark plugs ( did not ask for it this time) and suggested that they are need to be changed as well- a few weeks before I paid to check it and was diagnosed to be in normal condition by another mechanic ??? So, my second trip to this dealership was actually to fix loose wheel that was not properly secured on the first visit when wheels was rotated. ( I will be ok if they admit mistake and fix it for free ( we just human beings and we do sometimes mistakes) End up paying for diagnostic fee and for wheel alignment that I said I do do not want and they try to upsell everyone. Better find another dealership, If you loose wheel on the highway you may not be so lucky.

I'll start off by saying this store recently underwent a overhaul in terms of management and staff. I confirmed that fact when i spoke to the the service manager Mimi and Vice president Adam. My initial experience was very rocky, and i was not pleased with the transition process from pricing to the sale of our vehicle. But i will say that the situation was handled very professionally by our sales rep Emilia. I'll also note it was very refreshing to see that the sales staff was mostly woman. In a male dominated industry it's a welcoming change. As I mentioned before after a few minor setbacks we finally received our 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe XL. We then brought it in to swap the winter tires, only to find a nail in one of them! At this point I was very frustrated, I knew the nail was no fault of the dealership but after a long day or two i couldn't help but express my frustration to the service manager and vice president. They quickly sprung into action and searched their suppliers, Kijiji, let go .... you name it, to help us find a replacement tire. The service manager Mimi also called her husband who works in the industry, and allowed me to house her office until she found a solution. After 3 hours not only did they find me new tires but they gladly gave them to us complimentary! I own a business myself and often times we hear only of the bad via Google reviews, Facebook reviews etc... but i do feel that when a business does well to fix the issues they caused, their efforts should be celebrated as loudly as the times they fall short. So give this team the benefit of the doubt as the staff is fairly new, but understand that they are built on a solid foundation with Adam,John, and Mini handling the operation. We appreciate the help, hope to send some business your way soon.

The service advisers are very friendly. However, they tend to push certain services as "recommended" by Hyundai, whereas some Googling shows the services are largely unnecessary. They list an engine oil flush as recommend for preventative purposes, but most articles and forums say that it's usually not needed and may even cause issues later on. Hyundai also released a Technical Service Bulletin (#09-EM-001) that states that they don't recommend or endorse this process for any of their cars/engines, so I'm not sure how the dealership can push this on customers as a recommended service for proper maintenance. Edit: I called and was told that the service bulletins often change. I asked for the notice of the change and was told that I'd be called back. It was likely forgotten; this was about a month ago and I haven't gotten a call back.

Worst customer service. Davis who dealt with me, kept me waiting, did not look me in the eye and was very abrupt. Witnessed similar treatment with elderly man before me. He called my husband, not me to tell me the car was done. When we got there 1 hour after the initial call he lied saying that he told my husband it would be another 1/2 hr when he called him. Even so we got there an hour later and it still wasn't ready! Rude to me. Waited another 20 min. Can't help but feel some male chauvinism. Perhaps communications coaching or equity training would be helpful but I am not convinced. With the number of negative reviews management might want to take the comments seriously. Some quality improvements needed to help with flow and customer service.

WRONG DIAGNOSIS SUGGESTING EXPENSIVE TIME TAKING SOLUTION I took my 2013 Hyundai Azera for a specific problem related to steering wheel clicking sound. They are good with oil change and general service but they gave me a completely unpleasant experience with this diagnosis. Their suggested solution was to replace a major part which is quite expensive and needs to be ordered from Korea which takes few months (this was last year, pre-pandemic). I took my car to a known car service shop where they identified the problem as a small steering coupler and got it fixed within a day at 1/10th of the quote from this Hyundai service shop. I generally don’t bother to leave reviews but this diagnosis by their team completely sucked and I am glad I did not blindly accept their solution. I am never going back to this location even for oil change services, I am not happy about the lack of correct diagnosis that would have costed me in thousands instead of hundreds. I hope you do a better job in getting accurate diagnosis done before suggesting expensive solutions in place of simpler fixes to customers.

TL;DR ... Came in to buy a 2022 Tucson. Demo was priced ~$3500 over MSRP with 6000km on it. Low balled us on trade by ~5k, purchased a higher trim Tucson N-line at Orillia Hyundai the next day, brand new with 0km, and saved nearly $6,000 when compared to the vehicle we looked at here. Bill of sale is for the new car we purchased the next day at an HONEST Hyundai dealer. FULL STORY: Came to purchase a brand new 2022 Tucson N-Line, they did not have any stock, but they had a DEMO Tucson Preferred with trend package (one trim level below) so we decided on maybe buying that instead as it was in stock. The price was $40,079 not incl. tax. The car had 6000+km on it and was shown to us with a baby seat and other junk inside of it. It was being driven by an employee, even though being told on the first visit it was "locked up in the other lot". Whatever. no big deal. I'll come back. Two days later, we test drove it; liked it and wanted to do a deal. This is where it gets crazy. The price of the vehicle was above MSRP, Red flag 1, even though it had 6000km on it and was being sold as a demo model. I caught this between visit 1 and visit 2. Roughly $3,500k above MSRP. They also told us and I quote "we dont match the online price, try and buy it online, you cant". Red flag 2. Given the mass delay of new vehicles due to COVID-19, we decided lets see what they offer on the trade in, maybe we can still work a deal. Previous to the 2nd visit, I got an appraisal elsewhere (a Vaughan dealer) for +13k. Thornhill Hyundai offered 8500. Red flag 3. "you'll never get that, its fake" they proclaimed. Even though I had proof and showed them the offer. Dont even get me started on the so called "Mandatory" $1859 fee they tried to slip into the bill of sale. Red flag 4. All in all, we decided to walk, for obvious reasons.. and bought a 2022 Tucson N-line the next day at a different Hyundai dealer.

When you wanna purchase ,you are very welcome. But after signing the agreement, they change immediately. They do not give you the services they sold you. The service department cannot understand the issues of your car. When you tell them the issue, they charge you for labour but there was nothing to do. If you insist on buying a vehicle from this dealership, don’t pay for warranty. Because the warranty only cover a small fuse of your car.

Awful experience with Hyundai Thornhill On 11 th January I went to Thornhill Hyundai (7200 Yonge street). Rub was the sale person and I explained about my budget and condition, after going back and forth many times (me, Rub and his manager) which was excessive and aggravating, we agreed on a deal to lease an Elantra 2022. Then I was asked to sign an agreement with finance department. The person responsible for this was Mr Ehsan (Ethan) Gorjian. While reading the agreement, I was informed that I must pay some more additional amount. Ethan explained that part of this fee is to check my credit. Anyway, as it was my first experience, I preferred to discuss these extra costs with one of my friends and we arranged an appointment at 8 pm same day again with Ethane. We arrived at 7:50 pm for 8:00 pm appointment. Unfortunately, we could not meet Etahn till 9:00 PM (imagine we had appointment at 8 pm). My friend Parviz started our meeting with him and from then everything went wrong. Parviz asked about extra charges of the agreement and in particular fee about the credit check. From then Mr.Ethan was impolite and even asked my friend to leave the room which I have never seen or heard that somebody shout at customer or customer friend to leave the room. Finally, Mr. Ethan went out of the room for few minutes then, came inside and said OK you are exempted from paying that fee. As a person approaching age of 60 which everybody gives respect in the society, it was really a very stressful and bad experience. The interesting point is we moved to Richmond Hill Hyundai and had an agreement with them same car for my daughter with minimal charges in comparison and in a very friendly environment.

My wife and I bought a brand new 2021 Hyundai Santa Hybrid at Thornhill Hyundai. The experience with the sales, Alif Hossain was pleasant. We knew exactly what we wanted and Alif was able to deliver great customer service. Edit: Many customer service issues with the entire team during the intra/post purchase of this vehicle. Many emails/calls not being answered in a timely manner or non given at all. We had to involve the General Manager, Drew, I order to get a response about our vehicle for PICKUP. Ridiculous how you pay 50k for a car and can’t even get a response in a timely fashion. We are not talking about minutes or hours here. It’s days and weeks! We Waited weeks/months for winter mats and when inquired they mentioned “back ordered” and offered no other solution like take it from another Santa Fe car(which was then offered to us after we kept asking for it since winter is here). We bought a set of winter tires, which Alif said to come in any time no appointments we will have it done the same day. I found this to suspicious and we made a call to the service department and slots were filled until 2022!! We made a complain and they were able to fit us in a week later ????. TL;DR service was great in the beginning when they want to reel in to close the car purchase. Once you have signed the contract and put a deposit they will ignore you. Post purchase they wont even pick up your calls anymore. I would avoid this dealership if you want to be happy about purchasing your new/use car.

Shady business practices, specifically regarding their service department! I had one of my staff bring in our company vehicle for an oil change. With them fully knowing that she had no idea about car maintenance, they coerced her into signing a work order that included a charge for $200 for a wheel alignment. This is a brand new vehicle with 6000km on it. They didn't even test drive the vehicle so how that figured that the wheels were in need of an alignment is beyond me. Needless to say, we will never be doing business with this dealership again and I would strongly advise that you do the same.

We had the best experience at Thornhill Hyundai. After visiting several other dealerships we were worn out and tired– other dealerships were either too pushy or not interested enough to help. Our sales team was Mevlut (Sales Consultant), Ahmed (Finance Manager) and Fort (General Manager). Update: as a loyal costumer that always go there for my car, not even 2 weeks after I took my car to Thornhill Hyundai my car stopped working in the middle of highway and I had to take it to another Hyundai dealership. They said the car was never fixed in terms of oil change and system update and they charged me less. Once contacted with Thornhill about this issue, no one answered me and it took few weeks for someone to get back to me to say that they dont value the invoice I sent them from the other dealership. Its so disappointing and unbelievable from a well known dealership. Would not go back and not satisfied with my experience at all. Only giving one star because of Gabriella who finally responded to my emails and calls and actually tried to connect me to someone.

My experience with this dealership was beyond horrible. When my car was written off, Ive realized that I purchased a GAP insurance policy but did not receive a copy insurance policy and in order to get this papers I had to call them more than 20 plus times for more than two months. Also when inquired about warranty surcharge of $695 on the bill of sale, the coming answer from one of the managers was "I dont know. not my business, not my concern" I can tell this dealership is only willing to speak with only when they are trying to make sales, once the sales are done they are never willing to assist you in timely manner (Im telling you it took me almost three months just to get a copy of my own insurance policy paper, every time I call they transfer me to another unavailable person and even if you leave voice mail they never reach you back.) AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. BUY FROM OTHER HYUDAI DEALERSHIP.

WARNING !! ETHAN GORJIAN, the financial manager of Thornhill Hyundai dealership is a big lier. I wanted to purchase a car, I chose the model and went to him to do credit check and sign the contract. He told me my credit is not approved so all I have to do is to buy a package of $1000 for the first year to get the approval. So basically only $1000 extra on top of the entire bill. I agreed and deposited $1000 for the car to proceed. The day I went to pick up the car and sign the final bill of sale I found out there is $4400.0 extra fees. I refused to get the car and wanted my deposit back but they ignored me and threatened to sue me if I don't pickup the car with extra fee that they imposed on me. I am a student I need a car to get to my college and my work place. Since then my daily life has been effected by their manipulation. They are not honest and transparent at all. They pray upon the weak to make money and build their own business. They took advantage of me. I have been asking for my deposit back for 3 months in vain. I need that money back I cannot afford this loss. They are predators and waiting to get into your packet especially if they find you vulnerable. It was a traumatic experience STAY AWAY !!!!

I purchased a new top trim Santa Fe in August 2021. The customer service was initially great, but it went downhill as soon as my husband and I walked into the finance office. We had worked out a deal with the sales rep only to find that that deal was not reflected in the paperwork we were asked to sign. It felt like they were trying to slip one by me. When I pointed this out I was told by one of the managers that they couldn't give me the deal the sales rep had committed to. The sales manager and sales rep then had a back and forth right there in front of me, which was completely unprofessional and felt staged to make me feel like I was in the wrong for insisting that they honour the deal I agreed to with the sales rep. Not impressed. We went ahead and purchased the car anyways with a modified version of the original deal. Picking up the car once it arrived was fine, however, the poor customer service has continued. I purchased the extended protection plan having been told I could cancel it within 45 days with no penalty. Well, when I decided to cancel it there was a $50 penalty. I also had to drop a paper form at the dealership, even though the dealership had told me to work with Hyundai Canada online. The finance manager committed to following up with me within 2 days to ensure the form had been submitted and the cancelation went through. Well, I've followed up with the finance manager 4 times by email and have been met by silence; it's now almost 2 months later and I still have no idea if my cancelation went through. Clearly the customer service at this dealership is a sham - every thing is great until they have your money and then suddenly you don't matter. I certainly wouldn't buy at this dealership again.

On a hunt for a reliable car to take my daughter from Mississauga to North York every day to work, we visited Thornhill Hyundai. We had visited 7 dealerships and spent a weekend on-line. To our surprise we wound up buying a brand new 2019 Elantra Preferred which came with either an 8 year/ 160,000 kms warranty or 6 year/ 200000 warranty at no extra cost plus snow tires for the same cost as the 2017 used models! UPDATE: Thank you for response from owner. I believe Joseph is the service manager I spoke with yesterday during my visit so I don't believe there would be anything further to discuss with him. All he could do is apologize for my inconvenience. This is a much bigger internal problem with a lack of organization, proper customer service and a lack of transparency in your service department. I have a lot more information I can share with you if improving your service department is truly a priority. I don't believe this is something Joseph could fix alone as your service department's negative reputation far exceeds Joseph's time as service manager. We have purchased 3 cars from you as a family and have always avoided coming to you for service unless required. Yesterday was just the final straw where I had to finally post a review. Something I NEVER do. Had a wonderful experience when I purchased my car and very happy with it. However, their service department is an absolute disaster. In 2019 I was told their problems with communication were a result of their renovations and construction. 2+ years later nothing has changed. Brought my car in due to a recall. Should have taken 30 minutes. Booked a 10am appointment one month prior. Was told it would take 2-3 hours so got a ride back home. Tried calling after 3 hours to follow up. Could not reach anyone after several attempts not even an operator. Nobody answers the phone even when pressing zero. Got a ride back and when I arrived was told my car had not even been looked at yet. After expressing my upset and dissapointment, I was basically told that an appointment is not actually an appointment but merely a drop off time. I was also told that customers waiting on site are given priority so basically because I left my car I was continually bumped aside for someone else. At no time was any of this explained to me when I booked or dropped off the car. At no time was I contacted about a delay in my car being ready. Unless you are there to purchase a car don't expect any customer service. They should begin to realize that it's just as important to keep loyal customers happy and feeling valued in between purchases too.

Cheaters.. I purchased Brand new Santa Fe from this dealership in 2017 and few accessories worth $1000 were added on the invoice as part of the purchase deal however I realized later that this accessories were not installed nor I was informed about the same. When I contacted sales manager Afsheen about the same she stated the items are back ordered so they don’t have those items in stock and she promised she will contact when those items are available. It’s been almost 3 yrs and still it remains unresolved. I contacted dealership via email again 2 days back with their General Manager in CC but no response so far. So basically they cheated me and not sure how many other customers have gone through the same thing. Update: Feb 22, 2020: Thanks for your call John, It was pleasure talking to you. As per our discussion over the call, I have added you to the email thread and also forwarded you a copy of Vehicle Purchase Agreement for your review and action. Thanks Update: Sep 1, 2020: It’s been 3 years and still no action from Thornhill Hyundai. Still waiting for John or whoever is incharge to resolve the matter. I don’t have any hope with management at Thornhill Hyundai anymore. I think I lost my $1000 worth of assessories which they promised as part of the deal coz of Thornhill Hyundai ????

After looking for many months, I found my perfect car at Thornhill Hyundai. After sending a message I was contacted within minutes to set up an appt with my salesman Zak. It is a difficult time during a pandemic to be looking for a car but Thornhill Hyundai was very efficient and I felt super safe the entire time I was at the dealership. Zak turned out to be a gentleman and a very knowledgeable salesman. He gave us a great deal on the purchase, a 2018 Toyota Prius, and a very fair deal on our beloved trade-in. After the initial test drive, I mentioned a couple of very minor wear marks on the 3 year old car. Zak said he could have them buffed out, but I really expected to see them still there when I picked up the vehicle. To my wonderful surprise, the scratches were gone and it looked new again. I could not believe Zak remembered! Great job Zak! They would have bothered me more than you know! I made an appt to pick up the car on my lunchhour and Zak was super considerate of my time crunch and was very efficient in wrapping up the final paperwork and getting me back on the road as soon as possible. I could not be happier with the entire process at Thornhill Hyundai and our salesman Zak. I would not hesitate to recommend Zak and this dealership to a friend. Thanks again Zak! We now have a new beloved car! :)

Had to return because they are my closest store and my battery died - exact same awful customer treatment in 2021 as what made me never want to come back here. There is a completely empty service waiting room, but I must wait 2 hours for them to change my battery because they are "backed up" by two hours by noon already. I have seen four different people come and leave in the time it is taking them to literally change my battery. Plus their price for the battery is 2x higher than at stores, I would be wiser to just buy parts outright and change my battery myself. Never returning here, going to be bringing my car to Mr. Lube any time I need service, at least they have good customer service. (This bad review dedicated to Davis)

The worst experience ever. We were having issues with the car and went in on Sun to get it checked (made an appt). The person at the service told us that because we came in on Sun they cannot perform tests (then why would they take appts?). He simply checked whether the car was subject to recalls and told us to go to the dealership we bought the car from because even if we come back on a weekday they cannot give another car to us to use for few days What is the point of us coming all the way here on a Sunday??? The attitude was the worst and do not take appts if you are not going to do anything about it.

Worst experience as i bought Elantra 2020 2 years ago at approval rate 6.99% which i can easily get at 0 as it was my first experience for buying they ripped me off by saying don’t buy used one as they told it interest gonna be 7% on it but when I bought new 2021 they charge it by 6.99 Approval i mean what difference they gave me and most important they never gonna pick your call after you bought it. The worst experience ever. Horrible company, horrible service! They don't even answer phone calls. The car had a recall, after a week, still no one knows what's wrong! I have been coming to this Hyundai dealership since 2012. They have been through hundreds of advisors and I can see why, however the current roster of advisors are top notch. Josh Nelson, my current advisor is the best I've encountered. Usually when there are no updates to service they don't bother calling you. I have been take my new Tuscon since buying my vehicle in October. I have had a Hyundai before and was being serviced at a different location. The sales person I bought my car from, Armand, was awesome. At first going to this location for servicing I was completely happy. My latest visit, July 11, 2019, not so much. The service advisor recommended service 3 as apparently I was over by 4k, he did not ask if it was ok to go ahead, it was just put on my work order. I advised him that I was not expecting to spend so much today, but ended up foolishly agreeing to not change the work order. Upon pick up of the vehicle there seemed to be a delay in completing the bill. As I was in a bit of a hurry and did not have my glasses with me, I didn't realize I was overcharged $43.99 (+ tax) from what was estimated!! Upon realizing the difference I emailed a service advisor who forwarded my email to the advisor that took care of my vehicle. I have yet to hear back. As I have owned a Hyundai vehicle previously, I have never paid more then the estimated amount. I understand that it is an "estimate" however my vehicle did not require additional work to warrant the extra charge. Lastly, the complimentary car wash I received, did a good job on the body, but my windows and sun roof came back much more dirtier than when I dropped off my vehicle. My front window has all sorts of spots and my sun roof is extremely spotty and dirty! I will now have to go and get a car wash as my windshield washer is not taking the spots off my front window!!! They lost a loyal customer as I won't be coming back!

We went to test drive our first car and the salesperson sat us down and asked a host of questions that had nothing to do about cars. Things like how many credit cards do I have, and since when am I employed, am I a citizen? and so on.... Now, frankly, I understand if these questions come up once I am interested in a vehicle and decide to buy a car but such line of questioning makes no sense before a salesperson has even talked about/shown us a car or asked us for a test drive. I got the feeling that the salesperson was trying to judge/second guess my financial standing and if I'm worth his time... Also, the price that was quoted was way above what was showing up online, which kind of felt sneaky. The guy wasn't rude or anything, but just because I have been to other car dealerships, this seemed like the worst way to sell a car, considering I liked the Elantra we test-drove... Hopefully, Hyundai gets better at engaging people with the right mindset and incorporate better sales practice in its dealerships.

It’s a Sunday, this place is open from 8am-3pm. Made an appointment here and got a confirmation phone call to confirm appointment. I came in for my appointment and waited at the entrance but no one opened the door. Employees were seen walking around inside (may not show in photo). The service department here is a complete joke. I took my car in for an oil change and when I got it back, there was a scratch on it that they completely denied. The vehicle inspection report they had me sign when I first went in made no indication to any scratches on my car and the advisor that I dealt with also didn't mention any scratches on the vehicle when he asked me to sign the report. When I confronted them about the scratch, they pulled out the inspection report that, surprise surprise, now had the scratch marked on it. They also failed to provide me with a copy of the inspection report when I signed off on it and I completely forgot to ask for it as well. Funny how things always work out in their favour that way. One of my friends literally had the exact same problem with them and her car as well. The difference is she actually had her copy of the vehicle inspection report which didn't match the altered copy they had in their records and they STILL denied it and refused to do anything about it. The employee turnover here is high unsurprisingly. If you read the other 1 star reviews, you will notice that most of them are about the negative experience with the service department as well! Would highly recommend taking your business to another Hyundai branch.

Great customer services isn't about things going perfectly. Great customer service is about how things are handled when there is a problem. I just bought a brand new Santa Fe. My experience, from my test drive, right through to the negotiation, to the final pick up of my vehicle was EXCELLENT. My client rep, Sonia, went out of her way to show me how things worked on the vehicle and was wonderful about explaining everything. Purchasing the vehicle was a great experience, but the REALLY great customer service was proven when I had a couple of minor issues. The radio mast antenna was inadvertently not on my vehicle. When we discovered this, the staff at Thornhill Hyundai bent over backwards to find an antenna for me and put it on my car so that I wouldn't have to make a second trip. I had another small issue that was handled with great service as well. I had ordered a cargo cover, but a cargo tray was ordered by accident. The mixup was discovered when I arrived to pick up my cover and, again the staff bent over backwards to sort things out so that I wouldn't have to make a second trip. The GM went as far as to bring the cargo cover to my vehicle, unpack it from three layers of protection, and then install it in my vehicle and cleaned up all the cardboardand bubble pack. He also showed me where and how to store the cover if I needed to remove it. I probably would never have figured that out! I'm very happy with my whole experience with Thornhill Hyundai and recommend them to anyone looking for a Hyundai vehicle.

It's the first time I ever give a low rating score here. I am very disappointed with the customer service of this dealership. Total lack of client focus or communication proactiveness from the customer representative or the sales manager. I made a deposit to an available vehicle (Stock: T210075) through their own dealership website October 2nd. Since then I did not receive any phone call or email communication from them. I called them a total of 20 times in the last 10 days following-up on the purchase interest. At first I was informed the car did not exist (lol)... then my request was being transferred to the financing team, etc. Before the end of last week, my phone calls stopped being answered and my customer contact never returned my voicemail messages. After insistent inquiries to the reason of delay, I was informed the vehicle was a Demo although being advertised as New - which was fine for me. Given the delay, my only request to the customer representative was to make sure the car would not be sold to someone else after the 7 days of deposit validity. Guess what... today, after calling 3 times to get an update on the vehicle they call me back to inform the vehicle was sold yesterday "because their request to deliver the vehicle to their dealership was not registered by the sister dealership due to the long weekend". Well... I guess another dealership will get my business.

The consultant gave a good explanation of what was the solution to my car issue complete with price and reasons for price varying. it was close to lunch hour and knowing i had another appointment, once lunch period was over, he quickly had my repairs done including a quick external wash. Consultant also reviewed any work outstanding to do on the car and checked any recalls. With outstanding work he offered a comprehensive explanation of the work and why it was necessary. I will be making a service appointment very soon to resolve these work orders.

Sent an email that was quickly answered by the sales Manager,( Eddie Li ). We discussed numbers over the phone and email. Numbers sounded good, but wondered if they would change when I went all the way down to the dealership. We went down and where greeted in a friendly and helpful way. Eddie Li ( Sales Manager ) made time during a busy night to sit and go over everything we spoke, and emailed about. He was transparent, honest but most of all kept his word. The deal was made Monday night and delivery was set for Saturday. When we picked up the car, Tara Fallah sales rep, went over the paperwork and all the functions of our new car to make sure we were happy. I have been purchasing cars for over thirty years, and happy to say that this experience was the best I ever had. They did what they said, and said what they did! No games were played, or back and forth from sales person to manager. I'm now, an owner of the New Hyundai Palisade. I will definitely recommend this dealership to my friends. Read Less

I purchased a new Palisade from Thornhill Hyundai back in September. This was the first time that I considered Hyundai (normally bought Lexus vehicles) but read some good reviews on the Palisade/Telluride. My sales rep, Andrey, was very helpful in explaining the vehicle features and let me take the Palisade for a test drive. I was impressed enough to purchase the SUV after comparing to other cars including Lexus and Acura. Fortunato, the GM, was great in finalizing the deal. Purchased it at a good price and the sales experience with Audrey and Fortunato was great. I would recommend Andrey and the dealership to friends/family when they're ready to buy.

Needed a part for my vehicle, through extensive internet search learned that this dealership provides the cheapest parts in the country. Drove 1 hour to get my part but the discounts made it worth it. Yaser from the parts department was beyond helpful. He helped me very thoroughly over the phone and kept me informed about the status of my part. Saying that his customer service was excellent and my experience was great would be an understatement. Great service! Took my car here when the other Hyundai gave me horrible service and they did great with me. Selar the service representative helped me out and he was very kind. He had my vehicle checked out and with minutes knew the problem. Easy process and they did great with me. Yasser the parts representative helped me get the parts I needed and made sure that they were the right ones. If you need help to get your vehicle fixed or maintained you should go to Selar and Yasser for your needs they will assist you with what you need and make sure that a good job is done!

I picked up a brand new 2021 Elantra top-model on April 14. The forward safety system and small cruise control feature have not been working since I picked up the car, and it says that the radar is blocked. On April 24, I was driving on hwy 400 at a 100km/hour around 5pm. the traffic was clear. The leading car was at least 300 meters ahead at a regular speed. The car suddenly initiated emergency braking and gave me a notification, the steering wheel started to shift dramatically and the car was going to change lanes. I had my hands on the wheel all the time when it happened so that I was able to keep the car in the lane. Notice that I didn't have the active driving assistance on, only had the warning feature on. This was a very horrifying experience. I contacted the sales rep, Irene Song at Thornhill Hyundai immediately after the incident. She told me that I can turn off the emergency braking feature, however, I couldn't find that option on the car. I contacted her on Monday to book a service. On April 27, I took the car to Thornhill Hyundai, and was told after their inspection that radar of this new car had problems so it needed to be replaced and the emergency braking feature cannot be turned off on this car. I am traumatized by the incident happened on hwy and worried about that this problem would happen to me again with worse results. I expressed my concerns to the sales manager at Thornhill Hyundai that I do not feel safe with this car as the emergency braking feature cannot be turned off. I do not want to keep driving this car even if the radar is fixed. In the meantime, I am still paying the lease for the car but I cannot drive it due to the safety issues. It has been a few days since I told them the issue and right now, I am still waiting for them to give me an answer and actions to deal with the problem.

Great customer service and professionalism. Yaser was able get me a great package for winter tires and the team was able to squeeze me in on my one day off to get them installed. Kashra was very knowledgeable, and kept me updated through the whole process even after his shift had ended. Thanks to them and the engineers at the back I know my car is in good hands!

As the comment from customer service kindly suggested, I called Stan at the number provided. No response - what did I expect... I called back, no response once again. I left a voice mail, politely introducing myself and a request to get in touch to improve Thornhill Hyundai’s customer service. Days passed, no response back to my voicemail. Please do not act like customer service exists in this dealership by leaving kind comments like that, when it results in no action at all. Also, you were going to charge an insane amount of $1500+ tax for a simple lease transfer? Ridiculous... sale hungry.

Ordered an in stock part on the weekend. Expected to be shipped out within a couple business days. Noticed that order status hadnt changed so I emailed with my concerns. The next morning my part was shipped via Canada Post. I was charged 23 dollars for shipping from a dealership that is 40 mins away now the part will be here in a week I expected it to be shipped out early in the week now I'm down a vehicle for another week. I asked when I should expect to see this part as I was frustrated it took so long to ship I was told to track it online. ????

Very poor customer service and terrible management..bad experience With them from beginning to end. Emilia is by far worst sales person I have seen in years. She is dishonest, and rude, has attitude problem and is thoroughly unprofessional. She said I could come in for an appointment and didn’t follow through the process. As a result, no work order was created and my car was placed in a regular queue. Even after waiting for 3.5 hrs, the car was still not ready and they ended up giving me a rental to drive home. Now I have to make another trip of 1.5 hours one way to pick up the car. I am surprised that she lacks basic quality needed in a Sales person and has still survived in the job. Probably, she is underpaid and takes out her frustrations on customers. I don’t recommend this place and feel the overall management has a lot of room for improvement.
