Dan made buying my 2016 dodge ram 1500 a breeze! It was my first time doing this online and I'll admit I was skeptical about it until he contacted me and made me feel very comfortable and confident! He worked very hard to get me an excellent rate considering my situation and I couldn't be happier! Handled the whole process start to finish for me without any issues, all i had to do was walk in and sign the papers and I was driving away in a vehicle that exceeded my expectations in a few minutes.

My sales person was Alan Sekandari. Alan did a great job in securing financing. My issue with Sun Auto is the service department, and their lack of wanting to pay for anything that should be covered by the warranty. I have had to pay out almost $2,000 for parts and repairs, and I’ve only driven 7,000 kilometres since the 2016 Dodge Journey was delivered in August. First, the left-front strut catastrophically, which could have caused me to crash and die. Sun Auto refused to pay the $700 for the cost of replacing it. The strut bent forward, which they claim was caused by “a bump and speed”. Contact me for photos of it! Then, the vehicle became unsafe to drive again when the brakes were constantly engaged. I had to pay $140 for a diagnostics at the local Chrysler dealership to find out why all of the warning lights were showing on the instrument panel. They quoted $1,250 for replacement of the right-front wheel bearing, right-front speed sensor, and right-rear speed sensor. Sun Auto again gave me a hard time about the warranty. I was able to get a local mechanic to do the work ($240), and buy parts (about $600). I’ve also had numerous towing bills, since the Journey was unsafe to drive. After waiting almost 3 weeks for the general manager, Alan informed me that Sun Auto was only going to refund $750 of the almost $2,000 that I’ve had to pay out of my own pocket. Their service people also decided to GLUE ON the wiper arms with loctite instead of using the screws/bolts that hold wiper arms on. This caused the windshield to be broken while my mechanic was replacing the strut. Fortunately, my mechanic paid the cost of the windshield replacement, or that would’ve been another $600 to $800 that I would have had to pay out of my own pocket. In summary, get your own mechanic to go COMPLETELY go over any vehicle that you get from Sun Auto. This way you know what needs to be fixed, if anything, and can get it fixed before signing the paperwork. Thanks to Alan for dealing with management, and fighting for me. Without his assistant and dedication, I don’t know if I would have received the $750 from Sun Auto. Alan is the kind of guy that you want on your side, because he fights for what is right & fair.
