Their cars always seem to be over priced by a couple thousand. Yes overpriced. Don't think I don't know how Car guru's algorithm works. Every car I have looked at that is German made, is easily EASILY over priced by you people. FAIR PRICE doesn't mean a deal, it could mean overpriced by a few thousand. . Which is why I purchased two German cars elsewhere. Your pricing explanation may work on someone who doesn't know better.

I have purchased two cars from him in the past three months and will be buying a lot more his assistant is also great always picks up calls and gets back to you immediately they work together like Batman and robin. I purchased a CLS 550 from the dealership and was working with Shaun, owner, directly on this purchase. V8 AMG Package - BEAST! The car is amazing and i picked it up on Sunday. Very pleased with the service and comfort in buying a car with Platinum. I was not only able to take it to a shop to get inspected but they also corrected any finding for me as well. I got to test drive the car the day i took it into the shop for an inspection. Very responsive to my emails and question I had during the purchase and made the whole buying experience very comfortable. There were some small items which you would expect on a used car . My wife and I did not have a good experience at Platinum Cars. We went in to buy a car but felt rushed and not welcomed. We seen a Audi A5 and were very serious about purchasing the car however, anytime you make a big purchase you want to test drive to see if everything is good. Immediately, without any reason the sales rep declined a test drive. He tells me that I have to make a deposit before I can test drive which makes no sense to me at all. I did try to ask why we can not test drive this car and he replied “we do not just let people test drive for the joy”. I felt judged and got up , thanked the rep and left. Left the dealership in less than 15-20 mins. Thanks to this, I was able to buy a Audi A6 from a better dealership and a better price.

!!!!!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD, BUY YOUR CAR FROM ANYWHERE ELSE !!!!!. I bought a Range Rover Evoque from them and from the day I picked it up I have had millions of problems. I paid for a full tank, they gave me 1/4 tank. A ton of warning lights were on and when we asked them about it, they said its just because it has been parked for a long time. The car wouldn't go into 4WD because of an oil leak. The sound system had a constant static. I contacted them multiple times to discuss these issues less than a week from picking up the car and they did not respond to any of my emails, calls and texts. A month after owning the car, I was driving on the highway and the bolts in the breaks broke, and the break pads fell due to the overwhelming amount of rust found on the car. We had to argue with them for months for them to agree to pay for or fix anything. They finally agreed to consider fixing the car, but only if we got a diagnostic done by Land Rover. So, I took the car to Land Rover to do a full check up on the car (and paid out of my own pocket) and they told me that my car was not legally sold since it failed multiple sections on the safety. I paid $700 to get the car safetied and yet they lied and did not actually make sure the car is safe to drive. At the end, we were begging them to give me my old Honda back and they take their problematic car and deal with it themselves, but of course they refused. I got into a car accident and the car was totalled and it was the happiest day of my life since I was done with that death machine. Out of the 5 months of owning the car, I maybe drove it for 3 months since the rest of the time it was getting fixed or was stored at their dealership for their mechanic to check it. We spoke with the manager of the mechanics who was the one responsible for checking my car and he got so fed up with arguing with us that he admitted he's not even a real mechanic. While they took their sweet time to slowly check and "fix" my car, I had to get a rental and paid for it out of my own pocket until they finally agreed to give me a courtesy car for a week. The day we bought the car, the salesman was so adamant that we give them a 5 star review and reminded us on multiple occasions to do so, and this is exactly why I didn't do it and I waited. Most of these 5 star reviews are from the people that haven't waited to see all the problems with their car.

Please save yourself the trouble and ignore the fake reviews. After putting down a deposit, registering the vehicle in my home province and flying in from across the country, nobody was aware I was coming. I was told the vehicle would be ready in 2h. After waiting for 2h, this time was then extended.. During a total of 4.5h there was not so much as a glass of water offered while I waited. There was an offer to be driven to a nearby mall which never materialized. One week after purchase, my CC was then charged $135 without warning for the gas which was in the tank and Ontario registration. As this is not my home province, this registration was not applicable. No invoice was produced and no "registration" was ever received. This charge is believed to be fraudulent. Upon return, unmentioned damage was discovered on the vehicle despite my best efforts to purchase my own history checks before flying out. I made an effort to reach out to Mike to have this resolved but there was no effort put forward to rectify the situation. I'm completely dissatisfied.

I went in to see a 2015 porsche cayenne diesel when we drove over to the other lot the car was parked in the bach inches from the other cars, then when the rep tried unlocking it, it wouldn't open (dead battery) then when he opened it manually the lock cover fell off and he tried to play it off cool. I liked the car but did not want to get it after what happened. We then needed to book a appointment to take it for a test drive (most likely to fix the car so its presentable for me to fall into that money pit.... needless to say won't be buying from them anytime soon.

Do NOT trust this place. Had a terrible experience, was lied to, left a bad review and was called later only to be bribed to put a 5 star rating up instead of my 1 star. I was promised a certain interest rate and wasn't even told they changed it - I found out reading through the contract that they tried to give me a higher one. Like I said above, I left a one star rating in the past and only deleted it because this place wouldn't stop contacting me with bribed offers ($100 to the Keg, free detailing, free oil change, etc). Do not trust their their 5 star reviews. Most of them are PROBABLY bribed. See my photo to see the current condition of my gas cap cover. My speakers cut out every bump, no matter how big or small. Just take your money and time somewhere else Edit for Response: The gas cap has been finicky and chipping since day one, the gas cap breaking was the final straw. With the speakers cutting on any bump, and the jeep lugging in 3rd gear sometimes, I had enough. The call for "customer service" I received was a bribe to change my old review to 5 stars in exchange for a detail, oil change, or $100 gift - which is what I'm expecting is the outcome of most of your other 5 star reviews. Also, I'm laughing at your comment towards my credit score, my credit score is very high. Like I said before, I was approved for a lower interest rate with a third party company, AJ told me he would match the rate to delete the middle man - nice enough. When it came to signing, I was not informed the interest rate AJ "matched" was not in-fact matched as he tried to hide it under my nose. Again, the unprofessionalism of the response to this review, and utter lies are more than enough proof to not trust this company.

If you don't want to sell or you don't have time for a customer, then just say that, what is the point to lie to the person who came to you, guys? You say the car is new and has 0 km, but the car has 20K+ mileage. I asked several times about that and had the same answer - the car is 2014 and it has 0 km. 0 km in 4 years. Okay..))The given price was also 15K higher then the one listed on your web. When asked about major repairs or service records - the answer was "this is a confidential info". Really, guys, what do you expect the customer to think in this case? You sell a great variety of premium cars, then why can't you have a sales rep. who will be honest and who will provide decent respect to your customers' needs? Unfortunately, I cannot and will not recommend your company to anyone who expects to get a trustworthy info about the vehicle s/he wants to buy.

I am very sceptical of all used car dealerships after working in the auto service industry for over 25 years I have seen my share of vehicles that came from shady used car dealers, hidden damage, repairs not done correctly, vehicles that were just certified yet had parts so far out of spec or worn way past useable service life etc. After dealing with Alex at Platinum Cars and making a purchase I can tell you this is not one of those shady places and Alex is an honest straight forward guy who was a pleasure to deal with. After sharing my background with him when I went to pick up my car he invited me to take a tour through the dealership where the vehicles are stored ,where they come in and where they are serviced ,detailed etc.... no hiding anything there people. I also met the owner and this place does have integrity, morals and ethics. I would definitely do business with Platinum again. We were looking for a fun convertable to drive in the summer. We went to Platinium Cars to look at an Audi TT Roadster and met AJ who was to be our Sales Consultant. His relaxed attitude helped set the tone right from the gate. Although we came in specifically to look at the TT, he never pushed that vehicle on us. He took his time to show us the TT and he also showed other options we could consider. We were most impressed with AJ's no pressure attitude, his knowledge of the vehicles, warranty options, the company and, most of all, the feeling that he wanted the right vehicle for us, regardless of whether he had it on his lot or not. This dealership erased the check engine light after paying over $60000 cash for a 2016 s550, I have videos of the conversation. I have spent over $7,000 on repairs and till today December 17th 2021 I still don’t have the car, no parts available for repairs due to Covid at Mercedes Benz dealerships, this is a car I purchased in April 2021, Shaun at this dealership keeps sending me threats. Please don’t patronize this dealership, most importantly till today November 21st there are no parts available for repairs at Mercedes Benz dealership and you’ll not have your car for months when it breaks down! they sell cars that’ll cost you so much to repair even in the first 30 days and their customers service is so bad once you purchase a car, they don’t fix anything, I had the worst experience with this dealership and had to report to Omvic. Car still at the shop till now, no parts available since September, parts are back ordered, don’t go to platinum, stay away for mike and Shaun, their cars might look good but it’s all “as is” after paying for it to be safetied and paid them for the taxes to register your car, they are fraudulent. They start to refer you to their service guy who is a bigger fraud(Theo), this guy temporarily cleared the check engine light on my car and told me he has fixed it, I haven’t left the dealership yet when the engine light came back on. stay very far away from platinum cars. I’ve uploaded enough receipts as proof and I have more videos, the dates are shown, the very first 2 weeks with this dealership was the worst time of my life! Imagine them saying a customer damaged his own $61,000 vehicle! Their cars are all from Montreal they have mechanics to patch them up. They have left a reply that’s a lie, I have videos. I have added a picture of some of the things I had to fix and the dealership is saying I spoilt my own car and saying I’m mentally not okay. They’ll take your money and disrespect you. Run from this dealership!!! They are fraudulent.

No need to get into the frustrating details but the main and final issue with this dealership is: They will not let you test drive the vehicle before you buy! If you feel like you are justified to drive a vehicle before spending many thousands of dollars on it then don't waste anytime with this place. I did not move forward with the purchase and I feel like I dodged a major bullet. Instead I went to Budds' Imported Cars in Oakville and walked away with an amazing deal and a beautiful gently used demo vehicle that I'm confident will serve me well for years to come. We went to see the car on your secondary lot. Car was unclean and unsanitized. But we came from Richmond Hill and decided to test it. When we started the vehicle the engine was knocking. I asked John if we can test drive it. He said no. And he also said that we cant show the car to our mechanic. Terrible customer service.

I just wanted to share my experience with this dealership and the salesman Mike. Showed interested in purchasing the car and you would think you can get some sort of discount or something out of the dealership or salesperson but nope did not go down a single dollar from the asking price. Said something about ”we have a strict policy of selling all cars at the value shown” hmm seriously doubt that but okay. Next thing was that the car was promised to be disinfected to show hmm that was another lie because it was not at all. Even after all that I was like you know what I still want the car so Il get it. Now after payment and paperwork and everything was dealt with, all that was left was to pick up the car in a few days. Was promised that the car would be fully detailed and scratches would be buffed off. Well, guess what, all that was a lie. When I picked up the car it looked like absolutely nothing happened to it. It was dirty just as the day I first saw it and all the surface scratches on the outside were still there. Next scam on their list was they asked me if I wanted to get the gas-filled which I replies and said I did not but hey they did it anyway and then forced me to pay for it when I clearly told them several times to not fill the gas, you would think they would include that and fill it up for free when purchasing a $20000 car from them but nope :). My advice skip on the $700+ inspection cost because they will not check or do anything with the car except cash your cheque. Overall a horrible experience, the only positive thing about this whole ordeal was the car I got which I had to personally clean myself and fix up (oil change, cabin filter, engine filter and etc). I can't imagine people who buy exotic cars from this dealership dealing with this level of bs. I'm going to recommend my friends and anyone who ask me about this place to hold on their money and stay away from this place. Shame on you guys.

When I called Platinum I was so surprised with how knowledgeable and patient they were with my questions over the phone. I went in thinking I was going to have a hard time and was prepared to walk out empty handed as I had with the other two dealerships I went to. Shaun thoroughly impressed me. He was extremely patient and answered all of my questions and helped me test drive two cars that I was interested in. When I told him I wanted to think about it, he gave me the time I needed and I didn’t feel any pressure at all. We had an appointment before arriving because we drove from very far distance. The salesman did not allow us to test drive the car, they explained that because it does not have safety. How you can buy a USED car more than $45000 without test drive ! The carfax reports are back dated to show you what they want. They will give you lots of fake promises that will never be met once you've bought the car. Loads of extra hidden fee. I'm surprise this place is allowed to run. My friend just got his vehicle less than a month and has to get over $8000 worth of repairs done to his vehicle that i am sure Mr. Tihomir Dyankov who is the Operations Manager assured him that everything was done to the vehicle prior to it being sold to him. Why then 3 weeks later he has problems with the same vehicle and is being told that the vehicle was never serviced and he has to get them done in order to drive his vehicle. Now I just think that is unprofessional on their part and would suggest to anyone thinking of purchasing a vehicle through this company to think twice before they do.

Mike (my husband) called this dealership 3 hours prior to our arrival to advise on exactly what car we were looking to view, test and purchase. Brian was also notified 30 minutes prior to our arrival once again to confirm we were coming (due to coming from Burlington and being 9 months pregnant). When we arrived we were taken through the building to see all these fancy cars but the GLC AMG we were interested in was parked in the back outdoor lot, blocked by other cars and untestable. This dealership has a very strange policy, one that I've never encountered when purchasing a vehicle, and that is that the cars are not drivable for even a test drive until a deposit is made, car certified and ready to be tested. My question is, who in their right mind would purchase a car prior to driving it? This is INSANE. I don't care how many cars you sell, have, how fancy how expensive, what matters is customer service and knowing the car that I am purchasing functions the way I imagine prior to committing to it! As a summary, the car was blocked in, could only be started by a battery booster, did not sound right for an AMG when started, was filthy inside (talk about Covid etiquette) and the customer service was just bad. Drove 20 minutes to Total Auto Sales right after this and purchased a vehicle within 1 hour. Walked in, spoke to the friendly owner, TEST DROVE (by ourselves!!!), came back, talked about price and completed sale. Seriously disappointed in this place, and now believe the other reviews are fake, unless people just don't know how to buy cars or have serious cash power to fix them once they receive them. Bad experience, bad customer service. Would not recommend. Just glad at the end of the day we were able to purchase a vehicle Saturday and not have wasted our time, drive or patience. -Dejana & Mike

Yun was a very decent person, he is a very active and nice person, he was very patient and explained all the questions for me. I totally recommend using him for your services! After the day I picked up my vehicle I found out that the welcome light was not working, then I contact the service manager, because they promised me that everything would be included because I paid for a $699 package. They responsed me on the same day and ordered new parts for me right away. Also the keys battery were out and the dashcam was a little bit loose. *AVOID ERIC* This dealership is very nice inside and out, but, one thing I hated the most about this dealership were the two individuals that work there. Starting with the front desk clerk, she carries herself like she just caught her husband cheating minutes before with a girl skinnier than her, spends more time texting than greeting. She does not care who comes in and for what, attitude is the worst. Eric on the other hand seems like he knows more about the burger store across the shop than anything else. When asked about a vehicle's specs his excuse was “We sell 200 cars a month, I don’t know this car” and this was his response to almost 20 of my questions. Avoid him at all cost!
