Bought my 2011 335i X-Drive from here. Few days after I bought my car start hearing a noise and got it checked at my mechanic and was told my VVT motor is dying.... Couple weeks after diagnosed the VVT motor died, all auto Island said was "You signed not to get the warranty therefore we can't do anything" ... $4000 spent so far and my car still isn't fixed.(not even at the dealership either, they quoted me well over $6000. I believe they messed up my VVT motor when replacing the gaskets which led to my DME failing and my eccentric shaft. Paid 20k for my car just to get screwed not even a month later. Don't recommend them at all. Update: Car has still been down for almost 8 weeks now. Approximately $10,000 in repairs and counting.... Eccentric shaft, eccentric shaft sensor, ECU, Valvetronic motor, high pressure fuel pump..

We bought a Honda Odyssey 2003 at Auto Island and the team provided us with a really professional service. They took care of certifying the car as well as some modifications that we asked them such as AC, window issue,... and they also took care of the licensing. All of this for a really good price. We had a couple of minor issues after we bought the car but Auto Island checked the car and made the repairs for us for free! We are really happy with this car and we really recommend to go to AutoIsland if you want to buy a used car. The service is perfect!

Well buying a first car is always stressful, going through lot of reviews and feedback's. Here, I would say I got lucky with Auto Island and Max as a salesperson. I went through lot of options with him, he was kind enough to respond to inquiries patiently and helped me to zero in on my first car. After the delivery I had some minor issues and reached out to him. He had to keep the car for a couple of days to get it thoroughly checked and handed over the key of a substitute car to avoid any inconvenience to me. This gesture is surely unparalleled so decided to give him thumps up. I highly recommend Auto Island as they have great inventory and Max being around is surely going to get you best possible deal.

These people are willing to sell you anything, no matter how. I bought a lemon from them and was promised a spare steelie rim to match the other 3 rims (as long as both my wife and me gave 2x 5 star reviews) well, we picked up the car and was told to come back next day for the rim. and half way home had to tow it because the car died. Been a week and when i called to get the rim, Max said no rim for me, now I have a car that is dead, in need of a rim, a tune up, a rad, full breaks, yes i did buy the car 'As Is' no issue there as I knew i was buying a lemon, car is ready to go, except i have no rim. Guess what, no 5 star review for you because Max lied to me. Maybe if I bought a certified $20k car Max would for sure pay more attention to the one little thing I asked from him. Oh yeah, rush rush rush to get the money from me, I wish you delivered as promised.

I bought a car here over a month ago and I waited two weeks and paid about 5600 for it.. The first day or two the car was smooth had no issues and then the Alternator was shot, I had to have my buddy boost me for a week.. I called them and I had to wait about another week before they would actually see me... I took it back to them because I thought at first it could be the battery, but I was mistaken and it turned at to be the alternator... SO after they cameback and told me that the alternator would have to be changed(I know cars I knew it probably would have..) and the battery would not I told them to forget the battery and just change the alternator(Changed the battery for 141 dollars) even though I said not to.... I was in a rush to get to work because I work in the snow/landscaping business and it was a bad storm..... They came back about 4 hours later and told me everything was ready to go(Missed 3 hours of work) after being told it would be an hour and my ride left... I get in my car and then I come to find out my *Camshaft sensor* was bad and I would have to turn the key over multiple times for it to start.. He told me to bring it back another time to have that replaced... So after waiting another week & half I got my car back yesterday. They told me the Camshaft sensor was fixed and the door couldn't be fixed because the mechanic was an *Apprentice* and had limited knowledge... Even then they were relucate to fix it and told me these things happen to used cars... NO they don't all they did was wipe the codes off the cars ECU and when I told them I would have to go to MTO/Ontario consumers for compensation(I'm not rich I work my ass off....) if they refused to fix my car because it was under 30 day warrenty he said "You can do that but I have enough money to run circles around you with lawyers." how lovely... I'm a hard working 24 year old and now I found out from my ACTUAL mechanic because the tranmission is now slamming gears, I could have to pay upwards of 3000 dollars worst case... They also told me to delete my first review to get my car fixed the second time because "Why should we help you if you left a review..." Be cautious, learn from my mistakes... God bless you and I hope you feel good about ripping off a 24 year old hard working kid..

I brought 2012 Dodge Journey in Nov2019, the vehicle is giving all sort of problems since purchase. To name a few, First ignition coil and spark plugs were required to be replaced. The engine coolant was leaking since the beginning, I top up few times but now a mechanic told me there is radiator leak and need replacement. I don't think you guys inspect the vehicle before sale. It's not worth. Transmission pipes also leaked and were required to be replaced. Spend too much on repair in a short period after purchase.

I have brought my vehicle in (that I bought in June of this year) FOUR TIMES already with the engine light on. They have yet to be able to figure out what the issue is. They have returned it “repaired” each time and within minimal KMs the light reappears. Not only that, they sold me a vehicle that clearly has not actually passed safety as the alignment is VISIBLY OFF. The front tires are already bald after a month of being on the road and one tires steel belt is exposed and visible. Incredibly unprofessional and outrageous that these are “certified” cars. I should be sending them my mechanics bill after all the trouble I’ve had.

I found out about this establishment online when I was looking for a used Nissan Altima. These folks are wonderful. Matthew and Sean were very professional and kept their word. They've got lots and lots of cars on site.... and guess what? they've also got a mechanic and a detailing guy on site!!! My friends, honestly, you don't get customer service better than this. Trust me on this. I ended up buying a 2010 NISSAN Altima from them and I'm very happy with my purchase. I had a little problem with some leaking power steering fluid and they changed the part and fixed it, no problem, no charge. Trust me, these guys are the complete exception to the stories you hear about used car folks being untrustworthy. Please check them out, and tell them that Chi sent you!

When my old car died unexpectedly I had about 24 hours to find a new one due to some family issues. I found the car I wanted on AutoTrader and that led me to Auto Island Inc. I haven't bought a used car in a very long time and certainly not with the time crunch I was under. I called Matt to talk about the car and financing options and he couldn't have been more helpful. Between phone calls and email we worked out my financing and when he found out I was coming to his shop from Hamilton he made sure everything was done so that I could buy the car, as long as I actually liked it, after a test drive. If I hadn't decided to purchase it then he was fine with having to undo all his work. The experience of buying a new-to-me car in 24 hours was hectic but it wouldn't have happened at all without the excellent service from Matt at Auto Island Inc. I bought my truck here, the next day the engine light turned on and The turbos where not working. It was completely messed up and It struggled to get the back to Auto island. I asked massood to take the truck back and he denied me and said he will fix it. It was the timing chain. They ended up putting in the crank shaft sprocket backwards and destroyed the engine! I visited this dealership to see a used car they advertised online. Online it looked good (in the pictures of course), but upon close in person inspection I could see obvious signs of re-painting/accident repair (even though they claimed it was accident-free). But what worried me most was the clutch was worn out (it was making a loud squeaky noise, and there was no resistance at all when depressing/releasing). I didn't even bother test driving the car . Whoever is ignorant enough to buy it will be stuck paying $1200+ for a new clutch :-( EDIT: Take a look at all the 5 star reviews and that someone wrote that the owner asked them to write it when buying his car. Also there is a review by someone who bought a 2007 Jeep from them, and the clutch went in a week, not surprised.

Stay far away from this place! They are so shady, I was a first time buyer with bad credit and was told not to worry about that. They then took my deposit and forged all the papers so I could get financed, he lied saying I work for his friend and make more then I actually do so I could get financed. I bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler and was told it was clean and no accidents to later find out it had been in a pretty bad accident, not even a week after having the car the clutch went, the following week my alternator went. When I sent it back to get the clutch fixed they brought my Jeep back with the seats covered in grease from the mechanic who worked on it! Not to mention when I got the Jeep home after purchasing, there was a hole in the muffler therefore it should not have passed a safety, so they had a fake safety on the Jeep. I asked for them to replace the muffler when it went back to get the clutch fixed and all they did was just weld patch the hole. That’s only a handful of the issues the Jeep has had! I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle and company and I don’t recommend anyone goes here!

Horrible trade values. Max cuts trade values to half of what it’s worth retail. I have a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan Crew loaded with 122km. Max valued my trade between $7000-$8000 when Auto Island is selling the exact same Caravan Crew but 2017 with 190km(70,000km more than mine) for $14000. I’m all for a business making a dollar but when you try to rip people off, I had no choice but to warn future customers on this business tactic. So some information for customers. You have a lot of negotiation room when purchasing a vehicle. But don’t trade your vehicle here.

This was a place that I would never have even considered looking at until my son suggested I go. I am so grateful I listened to my son. It is a small dealership with a very large selection of vehicles . really big on Heart and customer service. I met with Max and he worked miracles, He took my challenging financial situation and found me financing and a great car for my expanding family. I appreciated the honesty. He responded quickly to my Autotrader email, but the car was available to view when I arrived. Despite that hiccup, he called when the car was available, and let me view the car without him looking over my shoulder, which I appreciated also.

Be careful of buying any cars from the AUTO ISLAND INC place.I bought a car from Masoud Jami and Omid and they said it was clean and NO ACCIDENTS,however after I bought and paid for it the car appeared to have some problems ,after I took it to the BODYSHOP ,I found out that the car was in a big accident and it is damaged.(THE CAR PROOF was clean but accident was NOT claim with Insurance Company).when I went back to them ,telling them,I am going sue you after that ,they accepted this car has been in an accident.They tried to fool me again for 2 weeks promising me to give me another car with the same deal and they didnt.I went sue them in (OMVIC).The owner is a really cheap guy and very dishonest.
